Sorry,there is only touch capture.I was thinking about volume key that can be used to take a picture.Try to clear data for camera under settings-apps-all.

    If you're asking about Live Capture, where you record the camera feed direct to hard disk, then you need a Firewire interface or one of the (few) supported HDMI/SDI cards such as the AJA Kona, Matrox MX02 or BlackMagic Intensity Pro - however those have very specific motherboard requirements so you need to research them carefully before buying anything.
    For an intro to Live Capture I suggest you read the manual: Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Capturing and digitizing footage

  • Why cannot I take unflipped selfie picture using front camera in IOS 8?

    Why cannot I take unflipped selfie picture using front camera in IOS 8? In IOS 7, I can do that.

    I misunderstood your question. By load I thought you meant from the time you take the picture to how long it takes to appear in Photos.. I have no problems with a delay when I want to view photos already in the photos app. If this makes any difference I'm using the new iCloud photo Library but still keep full copies of the photos on the device.

  • Can't capture video using iSight camera in QuickTime 7.4 (92)

    OK, I see that there are plenty of "bugs" with Quicktime Version 7.4 (92), but I don't see the problem I am having, posted anywhere. Here goes...
    I cannot capture video using my [Firewire] iSight camera on my CoreDuo MacMini. I definitely used to be able to do this. When I go to File>New Movie Recording, I get a back/blank Movie Recording window and that's it. I click on the Red/Record button and nothing happens. The timer doesn't even advance. Just sits there. When I try to stop the recording, I get the following message:
    *"Recording failed because no data was received.*
    *Make sure that the media input source is turned on and playing."*
    I can still capture audio, although had some problems and had to "downgrade" to version 7.3.x and subsequently reinstalled 7.4. Now the audio works but still no video.
    A few things:
    1. YES, the iSight camera works - I can use it in iMovie, iChat, Photobooth, etc. - for both video and audio.
    2. As I mentioned, I tried "downgrading" (using "Pacifist") but still no video.
    3. I re-installed Version 7.4 and the audio problems cleared up, but again, still unable to capture video.
    3. All software updates installed.
    Any ideas???
    Thanks!

    "As I mentioned, I tried "downgrading" (using "Pacifist") but still no video."
    See QuickTimeKirk’s posting in the following thread:

    Try the following:
    Trash com.apple.LaunchServices.plist
    It's located in your account:
    HD/Library/Preferences/com.apple.LaunchServices.plist
    Delete the file, restart (a new .plist will be created) and quicktime hopefully will work again w/o doing an Archive & Install.
    +If you want to do an A&I:+
    Do an archive and install of your OS from the OS disc. Stop at the QT upgrade you need.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301270 Scroll down to "Archive and Install”
    IMPORTANT: Maker sure you select "preserve user preferences and data" when you performed the A&I?
    Good luck!

    Hey,
    I recently upgraded to windows 7 from vista and since then i have not been able to capture audio with the camera assistant software.
    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing the program, changing the audio settings, running in compatibility mode, i have practically exhausted everything i can think of.
    Can anybody help at all?

    (if any other info is required then please ask me)

    Hi
    You mean you are not able to record the audio using the internal microphone.
    Is it right?
    In your case I would recommend checking the audio device settings inside the camsoftware.
    In settings -> audio tab (last tab) you will find the necessary settings.
    The audio device field should contain the microphone (2 Realtek high definition device) and the audio volume option should be set to max (to right).

  • Unable to send picture using iMessage to specific contact.

    All of a sudden this afternoon I can no longer send pictures using iMessage to a specific contact.  The contact is the other phone in my house which is an iPhone 4 and I am using a 4s.  The iPhone 4 can send photos to me using iMessage with no problem but I cannot send any to that one.  iMessage will show delivered and then change to not delivered,  I have turned iMessage off and on, done soft and hard reboots, and done a restore as well from a time when it was working.  In every scenario I get the not delivered message.  Can anyone help with this?

    of course all 3 iphone 4s are using there own apple id's
    all 3 did work when new
    turned all off rebooted turned back on then 2 worked then stopped working a day later
    other one is showing a an email address even though its set as phone number
    the exact settings as the 4s that shows a phone number
    but i cant send text or photo imessages to that one from the other 2 4's devices
    first time i fixed it it still wasnt sending photo imessages until i sent a photo imessage to myself from the recieving device then all **** broke loose and i started recieving test imessages id been sending the past few days
    stopped working next day again as expected
    dont worry bout it bro, thanks for the advice but its already wasted too much of my time
    turning it off and leaving it off is the best fix ive found lol

  • Unable to capture from Sony HDFX1 camera

    Built a new PC and utilized a top end ATI Radeon dual video card. Running Vista Ultra OS(hmmmm), plenty ram, processor, etc.
    PC does not see my camera when I plug in for capture. Do I need a special codec or 1394 HD drivers available for HD capture from ATI or from Adobe perhaps?
    Frustrated

    If the Vista install was a standard installation, Vista should recognize the camera automatically and install the correct drivers. Nothing you need to do. Make sure that you connect the firewire cable first between the camera and the on-board firewire connector. Do not try to connect it to the ATI card. Once the cable is connected, turn on the power on the camera and set it to VCR. Vista will then install the necessary drivers automatically and if they have been installed previously, show the autoplay box. Make sure that the menu in the camera is correctly setup to use the iLink connection and the format you shot in, so either DV or HDV. Consult the Sony manual for that. If the does not work, try a different cable first.

  • CK71 suddenly hang when taking a picture using the camera

    Hi team, The customer is using the CK71 with camera option.
    OS is. 1.61.22.72.
    Our partner developed the camera application based on Intermec source file according to the IDL(Multimedia Resource Kit).
    Regarding the source that the partner tested, I attached the zip file including the DotNetCF 3.5.
    Also, I attached the CNxDShow.CAB that we have to install first for operating the camera. The symptom is... when taking the picture again and again in light environment and in dark environment by turns, suddenly CN70 hang. For restoring, we should remove the battery and install it again for rebooting.
    But, the customer hates the removing and reinstalling the battery. To reproduce the symptom....
    1. Copy all file under the folder "\FullSreenCameraCNx\FullSreenCameraCNx\bin\Debug" and paste them into the device.
    2. Copy the CNxDShow.CAB and paste into the device.
    3. Install the CNxDShow.CAB first
    4. Create new folder "\My Documents\My Pictures" on the device, if the device doesn't have the name of the folder
    5. Execute the FullScreenCameraCNx.exe on the device by clicking
    6. Try taking a picture by pushing the enter key in light/dark environment by turns again and againIn our trouble shooting,
    The application put the log file when taking a picture.
    the location of the log is under the folder "Flash File Store\Log\Device_Conncet".
    Normal log is...

    ===================================Please see the logfile in the 20150630.txt that I attached additionally.
    The thing that we are feeling that it was strange is....
    in the source, if invoked "Cam.Snapshot(CurrentResolution)", "Cam_SnapshotEvent" should be called. But, when we experienced the "Device Hang" during taking the pictures, I guess that "Cam_SnapshotEvent" were not called. I copied and pasted the some part of source that I want to highlight like the below.
    ============================================================//---------------------------------------------------
    // make snapshot
    bool AcceptingEnter = true; //for eliminating repeating enter keydown events...
    void Form1_KeyDown(object sender, KeyEventArgs e)
    if (e.KeyData == Keys.Enter && AcceptingEnter == true)
    AcceptingEnter = false;
    log_Entity.write_Log(1, " Camera Shot S");
    Cam.Snapshot(CurrentResolution);
    log_Entity.write_Log(1, " Camera Shot E");
    e.Handled = true;
    // Received snapshot event
    void Cam_SnapshotEvent(object sender, Camera.SnapshotArgs sna)
    log_Entity.write_Log(1, " Start");
    if (sna.Status != Camera.SnapshotStatus.Ok)
    log_Entity.write_Log(1, " Snapshot failed");
    MessageBox.Show("Snapshot failed");
    else
    log_Entity.write_Log(1, " Shot Result : " + sna.Status + " : " + sna.Filename);
    ============================================================ Can anyone provide the information or solution why the CK71 suddenly hang and how to avoid the "device hang"? Best Regards,

  • Unable to capture video using FNC 5.1.1 Quicktime 7.1.2 using Pyro A/V link

    Pyro A/V link is the capture device. They say if it works in iMovie HD then it works and they can't help me. It works in iMovie HD but not using Final Cut. I don't know what to do. Do I need quicktime pro? Is there some other driver I need? When I do log and capture it just does the beach ball and then nothing.

    I use my camcorder it works with passthru.

  • Unable to Capture files

    Hi,
    I've been trying to perform a capture using Premiere Pro CS4. The camera im using is Sony DCR-HC42e. When I try using the capture feature, and the setting are for DV, the capture window advisory shows " Cant activate recorder. Try resetting camera". The camera seems to be fine. When I change the setting to HDV, I'm able to control the camera using the controls in the Capture window, but am unable to capture anything. The Record button is diabled anf the window advisory now reads Capture device offline. The display is blank. I checked other video software and I am able to capture the video using Windows Movie Maker as well as WinDV. Im using a firewire connection and a Windows Vista for the capture and the system has 1.5 GB RAM installed in it. I have also installed the drivers for the camera. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
    Thanks

    At least the firewire cable is not the problem. What do you mean you installed the drivers? Vista does not need any drivers, they are included in the OS. When you connect the camera, turn it on, then in a default configuration the auto play message appears and you can choose to open PR. Set up a new project using the standard presets for either HDV or DV, depending on how you setup your camera in the menu for HDV or DV. If it does not work like I described, do a search for capturing problems. There are a lot of posts with similar issues. You may start out with the related topics on the right hand side.
