Unable to change Extract structure MC03BF0 for DataSource 2LIS_03_BF

Hi all
In LBWE in R/3, I need the change the extract structure MC03BF0 for DataSource 2LIS_03_BF, by including some fields from MCMSEG pool. On including these fields from MCMSEG pool on the right side table to the left side table, and on confirming these entries, I get the following error message,
' Struct. from appl. 03 due to open V3 proc. not changed '.
The long text for this message is :
'Diagnosis
Changing the extract structure MC03BF0 of application 03 is not allowed as there are no V3 update entries for the update module MCEX_UPDATE_03.
If an extract structure is changed for which there are still open V3 updates, these can no longer be updated and the V3 collective update is terminated.
Procedure
Start the V3 update using the "Job Control" function in the customizing cockpit (transaction yDS:TRAN.LBWE>LBWE) or delete those update entries that are already incorrect. You will find these in the update overview.'
Please guide me with what is to be done so that I can maintain the extract structure.

Jelina,
I think still some records available at SM13 clear it aswell.
Clear records at LBWQ, SM13, RSA7, Setuptables in all CLIENTS of R/3 and check.
Still a problem, then instead of enhancing datasource from RSA6, take extract structure name and enhance from SE11.
P.S: Its better to create a new post by referencing same thread, so you can close call by assigning poings.

It has already been activated and transported to Testing System.
Now, I am to create a new transport request for this DataSource and Extract structure.
I do not want to delete and recreate the Generic Datasource.
I am trying to look at the options in the extract structure top menu from where I can create a new Tranport Request.

Hi Dev,
Once you send the transport request for any data source from Dev to Testing you wont find that again in your Dev (I mean the TR). So, when you change anything for this data source or view now in Dev and try to save it, it will ask for a new transport request and here you can mention a new one starting from View then activate it and go to RSO2 regenerate it and use the same transport request for this too. When you transport this TR to Testing Environment the data source will automatically get changed.

Extract Structure of the DataSource is invalid

We are trying to transport a Z datasource from Development to Production. This datasource is special in the snese that it has been created from Association Analysis model in SAP BW Data Mining Workbench. However, when we are transporting this Datasource to Production we are gatting an error saying

The extract structure /BIC/0CADX000030 of the DataSource Z_RSDME_AX_DS_0030 is invalid

Now i understand that it is not possible to transport Extract Structure from one system to another and i have to manually create the Datasource in Production and then retransport my request again. I will generate the Datasource by clicking on the "Maintain Datasource" button present in the Association Analysis model. Now my question is that when i am manually creating the Datasource in Production will it have the same name as that in Development? (ie Z_RSDME_AX_DS_0030 and also because the system manually assigns a name to these types of DataSources and i wont be able to edit the Technical Name). This is very important since i have transformations from that Datasource to an ODS and hence the name should be in sync in both Dev and Production.
So, will it have the same name in Production if i try to manually create it?
This is very urgent and so i am really looking forward to your suggestions.

Thanks, this solved my problem. Network kept demanding username; I guess it's different from the computer ID I use. Whatever, it wasn't easy to find the network listed, but by trial and error, I found it, highlighted it, and pressed delete key. Now the network only asks for password, which I knew, and I'm on. Great advice. But why computer was configured to do that in the first place is why I prefer PC to my wife's inscrutable macbook pro.

as we are in need of adding new filed to existing delta enable Datasources.
Do we need to fill the setup table if we change the Extract structure of Data source which is already loading Delta data to bw system?
case 1) we are planning to add new field directly in maintain structure in TCode LBWE.
case 2) adding new field to Extract structure and writing relavent code in CMOD.

Hello Ravi,
If you are adding new field to a structure, even though you do not need historical data in the new fields it is a mandate that you have to replicate the datasource and then reinitialize the datasource, in both the cases you have mentioned. The reason for this is, the RSA7 contains your existing structure, as you are changing it, a new replica needs to be created in RSA7. You have to run a INIT without datatransfer, dont need to refill the setup tables for the INIT without data transfer.
After you activate the new fields and poppulate it using CMOD. First transfer all the records in SMQ1 to RSA7, using a V3 update. Then run a delta in BW, by this way you will load all the existing records from source system to BW. Then replicate the datasource and create the required InfoObject and mapping in BW (Please note that without deleting data, you wont be able to change the DataTarget structure unless you are using remodelling in BI 7.0). Delete the datasource entry in RSA7. Runa INIT without datatransfer.

You can't directly change the extraction structure without an Access Key, nor would you want to. Instead, go to SE11 and pull up the extraction structure you want to modify, in update mode, and then click on the Append Structure... button. You can add the columns of data that you wish to have on the DataSource there. After re-activating the structure, you should then be able to see the columns that you added in the maintenance view for the DataSource, pull them over, re-generate the DataSource and create the code in CMOD to populate these columns.

First some tests, try to change the value with transacions FB02 or FB09, if you cannot that may come from the Field Status Group associated with the account and posting keys.
- FS03 to find Field Status Group of the account
- SPRO then Financial Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Business Transactions, Carry Out and Check Document Settings, Maintain Field Status Variants to find Field Status Group definition (or SM34 on view cluster V_T004V)

Data Extraction.Init & Delta for datasource 0CRM_CONF_COSTS ControllingData

Dear Experts,
We are facing problem with Data Extraction for BW. Prerequisites all checked and done.
No data for Initial & Delta upload for datasource 0CRM_CONF_COSTS,
0CRM_SRV_CO_PLAN and 0CRM_C_ITEM
Other related data source 0CRM_SRV_COSTS and 0CRM_SERVICE_COSTS we are getting data.
Request your help on this issue.

yes we did enhancement to this data source. In PRDOCTION its taking 27 hours time to load data.
For extraction from source system (CRM) its taking nearly 24 hours time as per JOb LOG .

Can't do it online even though help articles say one can. Have now been waiting 40 min to talk to someone today. What's going on? Changing billing info is pretty routine. Why can't Adobe do it.

Unable to create new structure code for System Items flexfield

I installed the R12 with Vision. In the System Items flexfield, I find one structure code "SYSTEM_ITEMS". But I am not able to create new code as I am getting the error. "FRM-41051 - Cannot create new records here ". Also the New icon is disabled.
Is this how it is supposed to work? Cant we create new structure code for System Items flexfield in Vision Database? Please help me to resolve this.

Yes ! The answer is that this is exactly how it is supposed to work.
In Inventory :: [ System Items KFF ] is supposed to be single structure whereas Item-Categories has Multi-Structure option.
For every Single Instance :: It is like this only ~ as a standard functionality.
And this becomes very very challenging ( but a very fruitful & long lasting ) exercise.
Thrash it with the clients :: Why should you ever have 2-3 different Item codification schemas when its the same enterprise ?
They might respond with different intelligence incorporated in the Item Codes.
Most of the Intelligence can be shifted to the Item-Categories as they are not long lasting.
&&&& This means that either you can push for non-significant part numbering schema or the partial intelligence.

Invalid extract structure template && of DataSource &&

While creating a z datasource i have received the above error. Fom the previous threads here (and from notes 202162 & 335342) I can understand that when there are Currency or Quantity fields included in the datasource, their key fields (CUKY for currency and UNIT for Quantity) shoul also be included in the same view and structure.
In this case I am taking data in the view from table EKBE. I need to have MENGE & DMBTR. For this I am also taking fields LSMEH (Datatype - Unit) and WAERS (Datatype - CUKY) respectively. Yet the error is coming.
If i try to join EKPO table in the view then this error does not come as I give EKPO-MEINS as ref table and ref field for MENGE. This thing works even if datatype of EKPO-MEINS is also UNIT Datatype. BUt I can not use join on EKPO table as while extracting the data in RSA3 it is giving me data from both tables (which is not the requirement)

It depends on requirement. Say you made changes to the structures(added to more fields) and your business need historical data of those fields also then you need system downtime as you are going perform setup tables filling for historical data.
You made changes to the data source and you don't want historical data then no need of going for downtime. Is this case after you import the transport perform re-init for your data source.
it is better to perform all these data source enhancement transport in non-business hours.

Unable to change ADF standard text for af_table ("Fetching data...")

I wish to change the standard "Fetching data..." text displayed by ADF when scrolling through a table.
Looking at the description in http://jdevadf.oracle.com/adf-richclient-demo/docs/skin-selectors.html, I expect to achieve this by overriding "af_table.LABEL_FETCHING" in my skinning resource bundle.
I am able to override two af_column messages, but my af_table override does NOT work.
My bundle looks like this;

Since I am seeing my customized column tip texts correctly, the reference from trinidad-config.xml to my skin should be OK (I am also seeing my visual skinning correctly). Since I am seeing some of my texts, my resource bundle must be valid, too. I am using JDev 11.1.1.3.
So why doesn't the af_table skinning work?
Any pointers appreciated.

I was having this problem too, found this thread and did cleanup here and there, redo etc. But ended up with no luck to fix it.
Just now discovered the issue is reproducible on the official demo site: table Skinning Key Demo
1. check the column sorting labels, prefixed with "Demo: "
2. change any selector setting to trigger a table refresh, it's always displayed as "Fetching Data...", without prefix.(as highlighted in the "Resource styles" on the same page, there should be prefix too).

2 iTunes accounts, unable to change what is used for "updates" on iPad.

Sorry - this might sound confusing, but I'll try to explain.
I have 2 iTunes account. My primary Canadian and a US account.
The US account is only for those situations where I have to redeem a free promo code, etc.
The problem I'm having is that for normal, every day use my standard account is what I use to download and update applications.
However now when I try to "Update" apps from the iPad directly, it tries to use my US store account and, since the applications were purchased from my default account, I cannot update them directly on the iPad.
Updating them on my PC through iTunes works just fine, however.
I don't know what I need to do to fix this.
I've signed out everywhere I can on my iPad and signed back into my default account.
I've done the same through iTunes, I make sure whenever I sync my iPad, I am signed in on my default account.
Any time I download on the iPad, I generally only use my primary account, and there are no issues with the initial download.
Any suggestions...??? Did I clarify enough?

When you originally set up the iPad did it or does it ask you to log into your iTunes or possibly we're you logged into your US account when you connected your iPad for the 1st time. Have you done a full restore on your iPad...start fresh not a restore from back up.
