Unable to change FlexiJack mode on X-Fi Titanium

Hello,
there is no option to change the FlexiJack mode of my X-Fi Titanium PCI-E. I need to switch to Line-In, but it only gives me Mic input. I've seen that option in a screenshot under Digital E/A, but I can only change digital output between 48 and 96kHz there.
I wanted to capture some old VHS tapes today, but I've wasted 3 hours now looking for a way to get Line-In input. I'm really pissed, sorry to say that. The most expensi've piece of hardware I've ever bought doesn't do what the online help promises.

Thanks for your answer... but I don't have that option. I switched to game mode, so I get the same console that your screenshot shows, go to settings and what I get is 4 tabs:

SPDIF I/O
Microphone FX
Encoder
No FlexiJack

Hi.
Using X-Fi Titanium Fatality soundcard and latest beta driver. But then I need change working mode (from Game to Audio Creation or Audio Creation to Game) it's cause system freeze. And only hard reset helps. No errors message or error logs in system.
This problem appear only if I played any games in Game mode and after want listen music in Audio mode. If don't play any games or listen music, you can change modes multiple times without problem.
I try clean Windows 7 installation and problem is still here.

Unable to Change Update Mode

Hi All,
I'm having this scenario, I want to change from unserialized V3 update to queue update but the following message appear, how do I go about it
Change of update mode not possible due to open V3 update -> Long text
Message no. MCEX 160
Diagnosis
You are not allowed to change the update mode for application 03 from V3 to another method. This is because there are still V3 update entries for update module MCEX_UPDATE_03 that have not been processed yet.
Procedure
Start the V3 update using the "Job Control" function in the customizing cockpit (transaction LBWE) or delete the update entries that are already incorrect. You can find these in the Update Overview.
Tried clearing it for this particular datasource via RSA7 and SM13

1. Deschedule the V3 Job from Job Control.
2. Run the V3 Job with immediate option.
3. Check in LBWQ and SMQ1 the entries related to application 03 should be zero.
4. Now clear the delta Queue and now RSA7 entries related to application 03 should be zero.
Note: During all these steps no postings should occur at R/3 side.
Now change the delta mode.

i have installed Informatica 8.6.0
my repository service is running and i havent created a integration service yet. i wanted to restore content , for that i need to put my service in exclusive mode. but the problem is as i try to click on ok its not doing anything and the page error is coming as shown below:

OpenHub - unable to change the extraction mode in DTP

Hi there,
I have an Open Hub that is loaded from two InfoCubes and I need to change the DTPs from both of them.
The problem is that Iu2019m unable to change the extraction mode of both DTPs from Delta to Full in spite of having deleted the Open Hub table. Even I have deleted the requests from the InfoCubes, but itu2019s not working.
What else I have to do to change the extraction mode? Are there any other tables I should delete first?

Yes i think u can achieve this using an Init DTP load.
first try to run an Init DTP , Init Without Data Transfer, select it from the Execute tab of processing Mode and then try to run the delta DTP without any load, then successive can be done.

EA6900 - Unable to Change to Bridge Mode or Reset router Via Smart Wi-fi

I am unable to change to Bridge mode to do a reset of the router from within the software. There is no option to change it to Bridge. And under Diagnostics, there is no option to Reset. I am trying first and foremost to set the IP scheme to the same as my DSL router. I would rather not put it in Bridge mode. I have tried setting the IP out of the range of the DSL router, and within the same scheme.
It does not work. This is the most current version of the firmware.

Hi Dr. Tek, You can try to reset the router for 30 seconds and power cycle it after. Try to access the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi software again and check if you can change the connection type to bridge mode. You can also use another internet browser to isolate the problem.

Unable to change Profile picture in Windows 8

I recently upgraded to Windows 8. The upgrade imported a picture from my Windows 7 Skype, and now I am unable to change the profile picture. There is no menu at the top in Windows 8, which prevents me from changing the profile picture.
What are my options for correcting this, and also how does one sign out of Skype in Windows 8?

Although I'd love to provide a proper response, unfortunately I too have only questions, which I'd hope someone could answer. "Opening Skype and clicking on the picture" isn't as helpful as one would hope. With Windows 8 -- in either mode, through either Google Chrome or IE10 -- there is not only no menu or options with either right or left clicking, but no clear way to change a profile picture through any other means. I've tried everything I could think of -- literally wasting HOURS trying to change this thing. Googling the question gets me only fixes that don't appear to apply. In fact, the lack of coherent help regarding anything having to do with Windows 8 is nothing short of mindboggling -- and I consider myself a pretty good finder-of-information normally!!! I read elsewhere in these forums (unfortunately lost to me now that I have signed in) that it may be a problem relating to whether my browser is 32 or 64 bit (if I read it right). I have since tried to load Chrome in 64 bit.... probably unsuccessfully, given I still can't seem to do much differently. Being a bit of a techno-dud I don't know how to check which version I now have as even with the "about:version" function, the reply isn't definitive to my untrained eye (unless WOW64 means something?). I need things somewhat dummied down. I'm totally new to both Windows 8 and Skype (and for that matter Google Chrome, having always been a Firefox fan, which apparently is not working properly for Windows . Unable to change setings, was in Siri, got 'jammed'

This 'Senior' got jammed-up. Unable to change settings, settings unresponsive and am stuck in Siri. Problem happened IN SIRI, now can't change settings to even access the Siri option.
SETTINGS WON'T LET ME ACCESS OPTIONS 'below level of Wallpaper'. Swipe won'r allow to go to any other screen in settings.
This happened in SIRI and I can't even disable 'turn-off' Siri
Unable to close applications on bottom of screen as well, as usually done.
The 'voice mode' is on, and that is what jammed everything up.
The only appications which show 'open on screen are' Messages,Phone, Settings and Safari, Mail, Music, and I am prevented from 'closing them'.
I did a turn-off, began again with the apple logo but can't reset.
Can't get past the first screen in my apps.
I BELIEVE it is a SIRI problem but can't change settings other than 'Airplane Mode through Wallpaper.'
I bet there is someone who would help a 'Grandma'!
What on Earth IS wrong?!!! and how can I get 'out of it' without going to the Apple Store.

Unable to change text size

So I have been unable to change my text size in itunes. When i switch between "large" and "small" text sizes the size remains the same, however the size of the menus and the itunes stores is small. I theorize it was probably some program I installed but since I am nearly constantly adding and removing programs I can't pinpoint which one it was. If anyone can tell me how to fix it or point me in the right direction that would be great. I am including my system info as well as a screen of itune. Thanks.

K9a2 plat. v2. unable to change speed on my case fan

Hi!
I just bough a 80mm case fan and I can't change it's speed using the BIOS or from within the OS using speedfan.
The fan in question is a Zalman ZM-F1 with a 3 pin connector.
The motherboard can detect the fan speed. (3000rpm, so it's registering it correctly) but I have so far been unable to change it's speed. I can't figure out why, since i have a 120mm no-name fan which it detects changes speed just fine.
The 120mm is connected to sysfan 1 (works)
The 80mm zm-f1 is connected to sysfan2 (doesn't work)
I know that I can use a connector to the psu to perma-run the fan in silent mode, but the thing is that i want to be able to control the fan from BIOS (and OS). I can't figure out why i cant control the speed since the bios is able to detect it Could this be a BIOS issue?
I've been trying to find something about this issue for myself but this is all i've managed to come up with so far :
In this link it's mentioned that some motherboards can't monitor the fan speeds. I'm however able to see the fan speed.. so why can't it be changed? hmm..

As you can see in BIOS (H/W Monitor) the only Fan Header that allows fan regulation is SYSFan1. I am afraid there is not much you can do besides:

Organization Staffing - Unable to change org.unit description

Hi All,
We are unable to change the short and long descriptions of org.units from the organization and staffing interface. Whereas we are able to change it from the expert mode. If we are changing the descriptions, on pressing 'Enter Key' or on 'Saving' data, system brings back the descriptions as 'New Org Unit' and 'New Organizational Unit' as short and long descriptions. Then we have to go to expert mode for changing it. Any solution ?

Try this:
I presume you have a root Org Unit
--in Goto menu (on top of the Org Unit etc where you see other icons such as one level up, etc) select Organizational Structure option
--place your cursor on the root Org Unit and click Create icon - that brings up a small screen which reads "Create Org Unit" -- it should also have validity date as well as Short Text and Long Text
--Make all the entries and save

Ok, I reinstalled gdm, added my user to the video group and so far it seems to be working properly, so thank you very much.
Now I just need to see if it will stick that way, since it seems to come and go somewhat randomly.
And btw, I use the presentation mode shell extension, but disabling it did not have any effect.
EDIT:
Ok, it seems the source of the problem was this little addon to /etc/gdm/Init/Default, that I used to launch synergy in GDM:
/usr/bin/killall synergyc
while [ $(pgrep -x synergyc) ]; do sleep 0.1; done
/usr/bin/synergyc 192.168.0.2
Since synergy controls the display power state, it would add up.

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
    Highlight Internal Speakers.
    Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
2.Plug in and remove the headphone.
    If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
    in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
    Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
    Try this even if you don’t see the red light.
3. Reset PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14222
    Do this twice
4. Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
    Choose the appropriate method.
    Choose the method for:
    "Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
5. Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup
    Audio Devices window
    Side Bar
    Click the Built-in Output.
    Under Mute any of the boxes checked? If so,uncheck it.
6. System Preferences > Sound> Sound Effects
    Play sound effects through:
   Select "Internal speakers" and then back to "Selected sound output device".

This is my new challenge. I am unable to enable the maintenance mode. Following is the error message taken from adadmin.log. At the same time when I issue the command to enable it, there is core dump in the alert log and this is what it says. Please help me troubleshoot this issue.

Yes, I was able to enable it from the backend;
