Unable to change package from $TMP to Z***

hi friends,
i have created a screen 700 in function group XCN1,which is under CN package. I have created this screen for enhancement CNEX0007 for customizing fields in WBS elements.
The problem is coming when i am saving the screen, its not generating any pop-up window asking for new package or transport request number. it is automatically saving it in $tmp package. Even tried to change the package for that particular screen 700 using SE80 and SE03, but its not changing.
Plz help.

When I right click on the Screen 0700 which we have added, the option 'Other Functions - > Change Package Assignment' is not available. When I try 'Write Transport Entry', I get below error:
XCN1 cannot be included in request/task
Message no. TK301
Diagnosis
"XCN1" is in the package "$TMP".
Packages whose names start with $ are for temporary objects that you do not want to be used productively.
The Transport Organizer does not record objects in this type of package, and you cannot include them in requests or tasks.
Please advise, how to change this screen to a transport.

You can either change using TADIR table.
Or
In SE09, collect al your objects in a transport .
Then click on Objects --> Object directory entry and change the package.
Or in SE01 also you have an option to change package.

Unable to install packages from DVDROM

Hi All,
Dont seem to be able to add any packages from our Solaris 10 DVD .
I've tried the following:
cd /cdrom/sol_10_305_x86/s2/Solaris_10/Product/
pkgadd -d . SUNWsmcmd
It comes back with
pkgadd: ERROR: no package associated with <SUNWsmcmd/>
Its the same for other packages also. I've also tried spooling it to /var/spool/pkg but that fails aswell.
Also, i can't use SMC as its not working correctly at the moment.
Any help appreciated!

CProjects - Unable to change tabs from graphic to table/detail

Hello experts,
when the tabs in a project under cProjects changed from graphic to table/detail the Display remains to "Please Wait".
Further processing of the project is no longer possible. It is equal if i use WebDynpro application cProjects directly or is called from the portal.
I appreciate any hint!

[SOLVED] Unable to build packages from AUR (build: command not found)

I recently hosed the filesystem on my arch install of ~8 months. I reinstalled arch today and didn't have many problems since I had backups of many important config files. Anyways, I still need to get a few programs installed from AUR, but nothing I get from AUR will build.
I download the tarball, extract into a folder in /home/myuser/builds and then go into that folder and run makepkg -s (as always)
It checks the files and extracts/downloads them. Then I get the following error message:
==> Starting build()...
/usr/bin/makepkg: line 741: build: command not found
==> ERROR: Build Failed.
Aborting...
I've run abs and I checked out the abs wiki page, I've also installed base-devel. I am not sure what else I need to do, the error message is not specific enough.
The packages I have been trying to install are ttf-ms-fonts 2.0-7, keepass 2.14-2, and I also tried ttf-vista-fonts 1-3. I am fairly certain that it is not a problem with the PKGBUILD files.

I'll give it a try, as I frequently install software from AUR. In the past I think I let software from the AUR get outdated, Yaourt (clumsy name) sounds like it would help that a bit. Thanks!
Edit: BTW, I really love Arch. I tried it out on a flash drive about 8 months ago (maybe more), and after about 12 hours I was sold and installed it on the drive that Windows XP previously held. Even considering that I had many problems during the initial install, but they were all problems that caused me to learn and were easy to resolve. Seriously, I have lots of Windows tech experience, but only Arch forced me to learn Linux. I had tried Ubuntu previously but it was such a bore, and the problems tended to be hard to find solutions for. I try to convince my other Linux using friends to try arch, but they see it as too hands-on. I don't see it that way, it is very hands off after initial configuration, and the initial config only takes a week or less on the first try and a day and a half (or so) if you re-install. Having backups of your config files is of course a huge deal, and I am glad I had most of those.
Really, I love Arch Linux, it has taught me so much.

Unable to change language from language menu

After updating to Firefox 9.0 and subsequently to 10.0, I've run into a very frustrating and persistent problem with my spell checkers. The problem being, I used to alternate between a US English and a Finnish spell checker plugin, and this worked until the update to 9.0. Ever since, however, the browser only allows me to use one of the two plugins when both are installed. I have not removed, disabled, or in any way altered either of them and both still work individually if the other is disabled from the plugin menu.
As I type this, everything is underlined in red because Finnish is set as the default and the language drop-down menu doesn't let me change it, even though both languages still show up as usual. However, when I try selecting the one that isn't currently in use, it doesn't do anything. So the only way to change the language is to disable the other from the plugin menu and then restarting Firefox, which is obviously not the way it should be.

Unable to change Value From M to S in p2011 for Orgini field

dear freinds,
 I have uploaded data using the F<M HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION for infotype 2011 . However i am not able
change the value for Origin(defaulted as M) ......as this field is greyed out . As such when i am trying to pass another value through coding as S iam not able to do so ....and it is saving in the database as M only ......Is there any way i can get the value as S only?.

you have to unlock it with some other user with the alter user privilege (e.g. sys or system), or (if you use OID) some user with DAS privileges.

InfoObject Package Definition for Tranport - Can Not Change from $tmp

Hi everyone,
I have a strange situation here, I am unable to change the package from $tmp for an existing InfoObject.
We recently upgraded from 3.x to NW7.01 and I have an object that was defined as a local object before our upgrade that I now need to transport. All of the pre-upgrade checks were executed.
I first attempted to collect the InfoObject via the transport organizer in RSA1 (and RSA1OLD). When prompted for the package in the Object Directory window (and clicking the display/change), the package remains in display only mode. I am able to change the "person responsible", though.
I have, in addition, checked the InfoObject in RSD1, RSRV, SE80. I have tried to change the InfoObject itself, but can not get the package to change. Also, I am able to change the package if I create a brand new InfoObject. I had our security rep check my authorizations, and everything checks out okay.
If anyone has run into this issue and have a workaround, please let me know...

SE03 did the trick. I had to change both the Package from $tmp to 'ZmyPackage' as well as the Original System from "SAP" to my bw system "BWD". I'm guessing the "original system" was changed during the upgrade. No big deal -- it was an easy fix...
For reference -- those Object Entries updated in tcode SE03 are stored in table TADIR. Filter by object type. I compared the entry I was having issues with to other objects and noticed that the source system was different -- SAP not BWD (in my case). With the incorrect source system, BI was trying to repair the object -- but will not repair local objects.

it is possible with SE03. you just click on Change Object Directory Entries under the tree menu Object directory, and then enter in the last column of table control
Check the check box and enter FORM and formname,
R3TR FORM SAPscript form
then execute it.
then you will be able to change it to PACKAGE from $TMP

1. I have some routines created in the infopackage.So i selected this one in the transport connection. I noticed under infopackages the following are also checked. a. infoobjects b. DataSource c. Infopackage d. Infopackage e. infosource f. transfer structure g. source system.will that cause problem in Q as I have them already in Q and P
2. How do i change the package in the transport..Currentl all of them are &tmp. Please help me with the navigatioln steps.
3. After clicking the truck icon, what shld i do ..do i have to transport the request as well. please provide me with steps.

Ans : If you have ticked Transport Check button for Infopackage then only Infopackage is transported. Underlying Infoobjects, Transfer Structure etc. will not be transported.

Ans : once you have pulled the necessary objects in the Transport Connection, Right click on the relevant object and select 'Change Package' to change the package from $tmp to others.

Ans : Assign the Package by following question2, then assign Transport Request by clicking on the Truck Icon in Transport connection for the objects you have collected and then go to 'SE01' Transaction give the request number which you assigned in Transport connection and click on 'Display' which displays the request and all objects assigned to the request. select the Task Request and click on Truck icon which will release the task and then select the Main Request and click on Truck icon again which will release the main request.
