Unable to check the calender checkbox

i switched from entourage 2004 and sallings sync app to the mail , ical (v2.0.3[1055])and adressbook combination. and today i wanted to sync (isync 2.1.1. [89.0])my recent adressbook entries and and ical calenders in a clean sync over to my k750i.
but there the problems started. in the k750i custom view at the calender part it showed up at the "all" radio button and the "custom" radio button only the standard selection of calenders. but not my recent one i hacked in before. tried to deactivate and reactivate calender checkbox. still no show up of my actual calenders. then tried to reset the sync settings in the preferences and quit isync and removed preference plist of the isync settings. but after restart the following showed up.
the calender checkbox was unchecked. and when i tried to recheck it the following alert panel showed up :
do you wanna use ical as standard calender app?
before you are able to sync your calender you have to start up a calender app which is supporting osx synchronisation.
offers me the choice to cancel or to open ical. but in both cases nothing happens. the checkbox remains unchecked :((((( does anybody has a slight idea how to bend those problems and to be able to use my setup normally? any suggestions would be appreciated. cheers k:d

deleting all preferences and resetting all devices helped somehow. cheers k:d

Unable to check the "calendars" checkbox in isync

I want to Sync my calendars with my razr phone, but when i try to check the calendars checkbox, a dialog box pops up telling me i need to start ical, I click the open ical button, ical opens, but the checkbox still does not check. I click the box again, the same dialog comes up, but ical is already open.
note: I can sync contacts just fine.
what do i need to do to fix this?

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
You may have lost the appropriate level of permissions required to modify the iSync preferences file, or it may have been corrupted. You can first attempt to fix disk permissions, using the Disk Utility application.
If that does not correct the issue, navigate to this folder:
Macintosh HD:Users:<username>:Library:Preferences
and remove the com.apple.isync.plist file, then relaunch iSync. That should allow you to once again drop down the configuration pane for your device and set the options once again for both contacts and calendars.

My texts are being sent from icloud. I went to messages and uncheck all, but unable to check the phone number. can someone help?

My friends tell me that my texts to them say they are coming from icloud.
After reading how to fix it, I went to settings, messages, send and recieve and unclick everything
but was unable to check/click off the phone number. I was able to check off my email. Am I doing something
wrong?

Unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

I'm unable to clear my search history after many attempts with the firefox instructions as I'm unable to check the "Form and Search History" box for some reason

I've tried several times to clear my search history without any success. I've been able to do so in the past, but this is the first time I've tried in a while and for some reason it will not let me check the box for "Form and Search History." Then sometimes it will let me check that box, but when I click "ok" to apply the clearing of the search history, nothing happens and it still remembers all my sites. At that point I try to clear it again and its back to not letting me check the "Form and Search history" box (I've gone through this cycle a few times). I tried looking through some of suggested articles that Firefox sent me too, but I don't know much about computers and just doing the things they seem talking about isn't working either. Please help, thanks!

From the icloud control panel I am unable to check the box for photos, any idea why i cant?

Can anyone help, please. I never had this problem before but now I can not check the photos box on the icloud control box...its the faded gray area and I can't select that option.

What worked for me and others was to uninstall icloud, restart pc and reinstall icloud.

Mozilla does not remember ldap password, even though I check the "remember" checkbox.

Every time I enter an email address, Mozilla pops up the "LDAP Server Password Required". I enter the password and check the "Use password manager to remember this password". Then the message pops up again. I enter the info again. Then it accesses the LDAP server. But next time I type in an email address, it hasn't remembered the password.

It could be the password files are corrupted and not accepting changes, so I would delete (or move to a safe location) these files from the profile folder: keys.db, signons.sqlite, signons#.txt. Select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Show Folder to open the profile folder, exit TB, and delete or move the files.
You can record any stored passwords before doing this by opening Tools(or AppMenu/Options)/Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, as deleting the password files from the profile will erase all stored passwords.

Unable to check / uncheck a checkbox in a JTable...

Hi all,
I know that a lot of people have asked this question before but I am unable to find a solution even after going all the messages. My issue is:
My initial rendering of the checkboxes inside the table works ok. I am using a TableCellRenderer and my input to determine the "checked/unchecked" is string like "true" or "false" and not boolean values. But I am unable to do check / uncheck any of the checkboxes.
I would really appreciate any pointers.

Your TableModel has to indicate that the column is editable. Your TableModel also has to implement setValueAt() so that when the user changes the value, it updates the data.
The table will know to use it's own boolean renderer/editor for that column because it knows what to do when a column returns a Boolean.

Unable to check the PDS in transaction /sapapo/curto_simu

Hello Experts,
I am using BAPI 'BAPI_PDSSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI' to create the PDS, i can see the pds getting created in /sapapo/trprod and as well i am able to get the PDS details through 'BAPI_PDSSRVAPS_GETLIST',
But using Transaction '/sapapo/curto_simu' i am unable to get any results for the product.
don't know why?

Hi Gemini,
In se37 transaction in the input field, i have entered the 'BAPI_QUOTATION_CREATEFROMDATA2' and clicked on the button ' DISPLAY',but in the status bar i am getting the messsage as 'PROCESSING CANCELLED'.
I think in some transaction something has to be done,so that this can be viewd in SE£7 tcode.

Firefox will not let use any checkboxes on any sites, like when you read the rules and want to check the acceot checkbox. We just started using firefox alot because IE is running incredibly slow on our computer. Any ideas

Unable to Open the Next Period

We are unable open the next period which is first period in our next fiscal year. I have checked the calender and and the security rules, everything looks fine but failing with the following error, and checked with the available notes from the metalink to our setup but didn't find any clue.

Unable to view the all country's names in the list of values

Module: Oracle HRMS
Unable to view all countries names while defining a business group.
Navigation: Global HRMS Manager --> Work structures --> Organization --> Description --> Find / New Business Group --> choose classification as Business Group --> Click on others button --> Select the Business Group Info --> Legislation Code and Currency showing only US / USD.
I would like to add India / INR in the list. Please suggest.

Using System Administrator responsibility, navigate to Application --> Currency, then query up INR, use the scroll bar at the bottom of the form to scroll to the extreme right, check the "Enabled" checkbox, then log out and try again

Lenovo A5500 - Unable to check message box for OpenVPN

Just a "bug" to say.
I tried this morning to configure OpenVPN Connect and I was unable to check message box to allow openvpn connection.
Seems that Power Manager prevent to check the box. Message box is not grey or anything but user is unable to activate it.
Disable Power Manager and then it works.
After restart, it seems to work out of the box.
[EDIT] The problem appears when I switch on energy mod, I am unable to check the box in other case than normal mod.

thanks for your reply lffoong the problem with apk files is resolved, but a lot of applications not compatible with this tablet with regard to bluetooth problem, I don't know how to delete the device & repair!!, some explanations plz

Unable to check large model into SQL Server repository via Proxy

I have a model that has over 1000 changes (probably) and I am unable to check the model into a repository on SQL Server 2008R2. We have a proxy service running, and in general the check-in process is much better via the proxy than direct connect. But for a model with "a lot" of changes, the check-in process never completes. I have let it run overnight and it still does not complete. The SQL Server DBA also reports a large "blocking" query running from the PROXY service to the database server when this process seems to "hang".
Has anyone else encountered this behavior? I have had a support ticket open for over a year on this one, with no solution, so I was curious if anyone else found a way to resolve it. (other than avoid "making a lot of changes".

First if you want good performance you must use the Proxy. When you use the Proxy PowerDesigner sending large packet of data to the Proxy under a proprietary format (more efficient) and the Proxy run long transactions - many atomic SQL transactions - to the DBMS (SQL Server).
In "PowerDesigner World" the primary use of a direct connection to the DBMS is to create the repository.
For adequate performance the Proxy and the repository (RDBMS) must be installed on the same server. (Also the PD Portal). Thus the thousands of transactions are executed in memory and not over the network (latency problem)
Because you use the SQL Server DBMS you must set ''max server memory'' variable to an appropriate value, by example for 40 users you must set to 8 MB minimum.
You must also activate these two settings - See the PowerDesigner installation Guide
• ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION
• READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT
Physical Server memory usage
a) OS Operating System has need minimum 2 Gb
b) SQL Server runtime 1 Gb
c) SQL Server memory space for PowerAMC 8Gb
d) Proxy memory 6-8Gb
e) I/O memory space 1 Gb minimum
Total 20Gb
Also : Under 'C:\Program Files\Sybase\PowerDesigner 16\ you have "readme.html" file. In this document SAP give information to optimize the referential. Aka modify attribute length TDAT of table PMTEXT

Not able to Check Delta Enabled Checkbox in Datasource

Hi,
I created a Custom Datasource in ECC system which extracts data through Function module. I activated the Datasource without checking the Delta checkbox. Only when i created Infopackage in BI, i realized my mistake. When i try to go back to ECC system, i could see that the Delta Enabled check box is now disabled, i am not able to check it now.
Is there any way i can make this datasource to Delta enabled in ECC system now?

yes Murali you need to maintain the delta in RSO2.
select radio button -timestamp local and enter your field:AEDAT.
check the upper limit n lower limit with functional team so that you do not miss any delta records.
