Unable to clear cache in 3.6.10

Running 3.6.10 and not able to clear cache either manually or automatically. I don't know what else to do as I've done everything the help section says to clear the cache.
I was also unable to install Skype due to a cookie problem. I'm hesitant to reinstall Firefox due to all of my bookmarks.

Did you check that on the about:cache page?
* Make sure that you not run Firefox in [[Private Browsing]] mode
* You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing", possibly grayed
Are the disk cache and the memory cache enabled?

Apex not clearing cache

Using Apex 4.1.1 on Oracle XE 11G (Linux)
I have a form and a report in and when you click on create button it will clear the cache in page 6 so you can create a new entry.
If click on the link on table which will set the value of P6_TID (type hidden) with a value, the typical Form & Report setup except I created it manually and was working fine for over a month since creation.
Now when I click on the CREATE button its no longer clearing cache in page 6. Instead it retrieves the latest values I had earlier (P6_TID holding the latest value).
However just earlier I was having another issue where I had to drop the parsing schema and got ORA-01940 - cannot drop a user that currently logged in, so I had to do a:
SQL> shutdown immediate;and as soon as Oracle stopped I started it up and created my user, granted necessary permissions and imported the old DMP file.
I've gone through this step many times but only now I am getting the ORA-01940 error. So have no idea if its anything to do with the issue of clearing cache I am having. Both issue coincided same time.
Has anyone had any such problem where they are unable to clear cache for a page or session? I got absolutely know idea what I have to do get it back working.

Why would you shut down your database to kick a user. Just do
select * from v$sessionYou can find your schema that you want to drop with a where clause on the user column.
Now note the sid and the serial column and do
alter system kill session '#SID#, #SERIAL#';Replace #SID# and #SERIAL# with the values of your session you want to kill.
This will stop the ORA-01940 error.
Now for the APEX matter. The APEX session is completely different from the Database session.
If you submit values to the server then APEX keeps those values in session.
If you clear the cache of a page it really means that you clear the values of that page in the session.
Look in your session if those page items are cleared.
If they are not cleared there then watch out for a unwanted rowfetch of page processes. If you clear the page cache on create you most not give away any variables to that page hee! (espacially not a primary key)

messages are stuck in queue, so i went smq1 & smq2 and clear the queue. again i processed it while putting the file in ftp.
In sxi_cache i went and seen it is showing - Unable to clear the cache content. traffic light is in red mode. I know that it should be green....

Internet keeps going in and out - "unable to clear ARP Cache"

I recently upgraded my WRT54GS firmware to ver. 4.whatever the most recent is. I also secured the wireless router using the WPE key. My internet connection on one of my wireless laptops will cut out for about 30 + minutes and when I try to reconnect to the network it says unable to clear the arp cache. This same laptop had no problems when the network was unsecured and the firmware was ver 2. whatever.
Any help would be appreciated as this laptop is used to work from home two days a week.

"netsh interface ip delete arpcache"
"arp -d "

Lumia 800 Unable to clear Browser Cache

Here's my problem. Every time I go to Google News and click on a news item and then press the Back button, I am taken to a Google news page cached a week ago. If I refresh the page, I get the latest news page, but browsing to a news item and then attempting to return to the home page takes me back to the old cached page. The only way to clear cache is to delete the History in the browser settings and I have done this several times but to no avail. I am unable to understand why the old news page keeps coming up. Help anyone?
P.S.: My firmware versiion is the latest: 1750.0805.8773.12220

Have you tried closing the tab you are using? Go to …>Tabs and close the relevant tab. This way a new tab without any cached information is opened.

Unable to clear Google search history in Safari

I am unable to clear old searches in Safari. None of the following has any effect: using the clear recent searches button, totally resetting Safari, deleting all history and cache and trying to delete each individual search item manually, or by changing default search method. These are old items, not recent searches, but they continue to show up in the recent search area. It appears to be a bug. Any ideas how to REALLY clear out the search cache?

Seem to have finally fixed it by deleting the safari plist entry.

Back button no longer works in some specific situations; also, it appears that clearing cache isn't working.

The "back" button no longer works in certain specific situations on certain specific websites -- especially on the very website on which I need to use it very frequently. This has been going on for a couple of weeks.
Also, I noticed today that the "clear cache now" command doesn't seem to be working. Formerly, when I cleared the cache, I had to re-login to those websites that normally "remember" my login (because clearing the cache erased that "memory") -- but today, after using the "clear cache now" command, those websites still "remember" my login, which leads me to believe the cache didn't get cleared. Is there any other way to check whether it got cleared?
I was attempting to clear the cache in the faint hope that this might help the above "back" button problem, as no one has yet given me a solution for this that has worked. One person suggested having Firefox re-create the possibly damaged "places.sqlite" and "places.sqlite-journal" files. I tried this, but there was no change to the problem.
I think this problem started around the time I had a few Firefox crashes while using YouTube and doing something else on the computer at the same time.
I just today learned about the "crash signature" -- how to look it up, and to include it in a forum question. However, the crash log did not show these recent crashes, only some others from a few months ago. So, I'm unable to show the crash signature for this.
I'm guessing there's a chance that upgrading to a newer version of Firefox might fix this problem -- but I hesitate to do that, because it occurs to me that it also may be possible that changing the program before fixing this might make it harder to fix. I don't have enough knowledge of this software to know which is more likely, and I don't like to try things at random, in ignorance of the possible results. Also, after reading today several other forum comments from people who are unhappy with their Firefox upgrades, I hesitate to upgrade for that reason, also.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie. 
So you need to remove the cookies to make a website forget you.

Crashing on clearing cache and cookies

When I try to clear the cache and cookies from Firefox it crashes and is unable to clear the cache and cookies.

If clearing cookies didn't work properly then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
*Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

You can try to clear the cache folder on the hard drive manually.
You can find the location of the disk cache on the about:cache page.
you can open about: pages via the location/address bar.

Error message says "clear cache"

I have Lightroom 3.6. My desktop computer recently had to go to the recycling so had to load everything from scratch onto a laptop. When I open Lightroom I get an error message that I need to clear cache. I am unable to see Bridge and need to use it.

Hello again,
i`ve made simple process with type "Clear Cache for Items (ITEM,ITEM,ITEM)" and with process point "On Load - Before Header" through wizard, in "Process" field i`ve inserted all items what i want to be clear on page load(from list below). When i run my page, error is:
Error ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "P12_BIT " in application "123".
OK
Unexpected error, unable to find item name at application or page level.
but, item P12_BIT exists!! and it`s type is "radiogroup", such error is on all items that is in process.
in another app this process works good.. Maybe error is because app 123 i`ve imported?? How can i solve it??

I see some whitespace after the item name. Looks like we're not preparing that string as well as we should. Please try removing whitespace from the comma-delimited list of item names in the process definition and let us know if that doesn't work.

Clear cache for items not working with multiple items

APEX 4.0, 11g. I've made a session state process that clears cache for items (item_1, item_2, item_3) but I keep getting an error "Unexpected error, unable to find item name at application or page level" I have now created 3 session state processes, each with one page item in it, and it works fine but as soon as I try to put more than one item in the process field, separated by commas, I get this error. Is there some other setting I have to change to make it accept multiple values in this field?

No, I wasn't using the parenthesis... just the items separated by a comma.
I don't want to clear the cache for all page items, just these 3. It works okay in 3 separate clear cache for item processes, just thought it was odd that I can't put all three items into one process separated by commas.

Bridge CC. on opening message says unable to read cache, purge cache. This does not help.

Cyndi6858, help is here! We'd be happy to help figure this out. Just to be sure though, the Droid Maxx should not have an SD card. Is this the Droid Razr Maxx? How did you add the music to the device? Are you able to see the files and folders located on the SD card or device when plugged in?
