Unable to compile LaTex on iCloud Drive
Hi - I've just moved over to using iCloud drive to store my work. However I have hit a snag. Most of my documents that I write are written in LaTex. When I try to compile a document stored on iCloud drive it seems to fail (see screenshot), it appears that iCloud drive prevents the software from writing temporary files to iCloud drive. Any tips on what I should do?
If I run the same document but have the files on my desktop then it compiles fine. It just seems to be a problem when they are stored in the iCloud drive. Is there anything I can do to fix this writing issue?

Install the app that has the folder you want removed if it is not still installed on your iOS device.
From that iOS device go to Settings>iCloud Drive>
Turn off the folders which you would like to remove then delete the app.

I,m trying to access iCloud Drive through iCloud.com, but when I log in and click on iCloud Drive, I get the error message, "Can't load iCloud Drive. There was a problem loading the application." I have always had this problem, I have never been able to access it. It is activated on all my mobile devices and my iMac, all of which are running the latest versions of iOS and Mac OS X.

Unable to disable iCloud Drive
Recently, my mac has been running very slowly and I often have to force quit tasks (as I get the pinwheel- which will load indefinitely otherwise). I went to the apple communities and saw that many used Etrecheck to diagnose their hardware/software problems, so I ran the diagnostic and found that my CPU was being 99% used by a process called "bird." Some research showed that this "bird" was linked to iCloud, so I disconnected all of my iCloud syncing, except for "iCloud drive" because every time time I try uncheck it, or try to sign out of iCloud completely, I get the pinwheel and have to force quit.
(I would have posted the Estrecheck diagnosis, however I got a message that said the content was restricted)Duplicate of, Can't Load iCloud Drive, no solution since at least 1st of January! 3 months! Come on Apple!

Unable to read an "iCloud Drive Saved" html file on my Iphone
Hi,
I have saved an HTML file on my MAC to my iCloud Drive Docs folder.
Now I woud like to view that on my iphone.
I go to Pages, I can see the file, but cannot open itFirefox reports that it is my default browser. I changed the default browser to Chrome and then back to Firefox, in case that's what you meant by "redo." Right-clicking and picking Firefox in the Open With menu works, but double-clicking the file or just picking Open in the right-click menu does not.
I don't know why this is. Could it be due to a version update? I've noticed that Google Notifier's "Go to Inbox" no longer opens up Gmail in Firefox either. -
In the last few days when I save a Pages document to the iCloud drive and list the contents of the drive it shows a cloud symbol with an ! in it and a bar in the size column. The document shows up on another device with a line along the bottom, but it can't be opened in the new device.

Unable to compile class for JSP

Actually,this is the condition.
In my db,there is a table called UserPassword, which has 4
fields(empNo,UserName,password,level). Now I want to do these things:
When the user submits the data to create a new account via HTML form, it submits the data to the file called CreateAcc.jsp. In this file it perform some logic,here are they.
1)To check the empNo,if it is already exist in the DB,
if empNo =exist then display error.(record already exist)
if empNo =notexist then do task 2).
2)check the UserName,if it is already exist in the db,
if UserName=exist then display error.(because it's a primary key)
if UserName=notexist then do task 3).
3)Create a new user account and save it to the db.
To do these tasks,I never create a new objects for the tasks 1) and 2).
only for task 3)create an object.
Is it the right way?

So,I comment them only in the UserPassword.java file,and compile it again.
Then it compile well.I goto the directory to get the .class files.
But there is only UserPassword.class inside the data folder. There is not

Can't see icloud drive folder in Windows 7
Hi all,
I'm running Windows 7 and icloud 4.0.
I'm familiar with apple products, and have followed all requirements to enable icloud drive on my ipad and iphone.
However I am unable to find the icloud drive icon/folder in Windows explorer on my PC.
When I select the checkbox to enable icloud drive within icloud on my PC then press 'apply', nothing happens. If I close icloud and then re-open it, the checkbox has returned to the unchecked state.
I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling icloud, no difference.
By the way, it all seems to run fine on my Windows 8 devices.
I can't find anyone else with a similar issue...any suggestions?

Just thought you should know that there is a bug in 11gR2 client and because of that Oracle driver version is shown as 11.1.0.7 instead of 11.2.0.2. This can be confusing 6 months or a year later down the road if you wanted to go back and upgrade your client to, let's say' 12g. To fix this, there is a patch available from Oracle metalink, patch id is p11731183 for 32bit and p11731184 for 64bit windows. This bug is mentioned in 1308617.1

Unable to compile servlet files in javac
i am unable to compile servlet *.java files in javac.as far as i can see my path is correct.
Kindly provide a solution as soon as possible.
My jdk1.3 is in my c drive and my tomcat in my d drive.

it says symbol not resolved.i think that it is unable to import from javaxAssuming that your jdk is in c drive as c:\jdk1.3 set the path and the classpath like as shown below. Remember that you have to set the classpath for the classes in the javax.servlet and javax.servlet.http packages. I know how to do it for JavaWebServer. JavaWebServer has a jar called servlet.jar that contains all these classes. What you need to do is to put this jar file in your classpath. There will be a similar jar file for Tomcat server also. You need to refer the Tomcat server documentation for that.
The path and the classpath have to be set like this...
d:\>path=%path%;.;c:\jdk1.3\bin;
d:\>set classpath=%classpath%;.;c:\jdk1.3\lib;c:\JavaWebServer2.0\lib\servlet.jar;
assuming tht JWS is installed in c:\JavaWebServer2.0
Also note that there should be no spaces in between while setting the classpath. In your case you have to change the last part of the classpath to customize your requirement.

Can't see Garageband files on iCloud Drive
I've updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 8.0.2 and the latest version of Garageband (2.0.3) for iOS and am having problems accessing Garageband files I've saved to my newly converted iCloud Drive. Garageband on iOS still sees the files. As does Settings -> General -> Usage -> iCloud Manage Storage. But when I go to iCloud.com to access my iCloud Drive there are no Garageband files/folders to be found. I'm still on OS 10.6.8 so this is the only way I can access my iCloud Drive from my Mac. Perhaps these are stored as invisible files/folders but it would be nice to have access to them as I can with Pages, Keynote, Numbers, and iMovie. Anybody else have this issue or have any ideas of how to correct it? Thanks in advance!

I'm dreaming about the possibility to access to "cloud" songs in ICLOUD DRIVE for example when I start to find a melody on my IPHONE, using Garageband to record my voice and after I want to continue at home with my USB Mic on the IPAD and finish the song.
I've 2 issues :
I'm unable to export or upload ".band" on ICLOUD DRIVE or even an exported mp3 from GARAGEBAND interface. I can see options like UPLOAD to ICLOUD or ITUNES or GARAGEBAND
I cannot see how to access on both devices to 2 differents ICLOUD DRIVE because my ID on the IPHONE is not the same as the IPAD for many reasons and it will be very confortable to have this capability in my current settings.
The previous solution was to export to ITUNES and use the AUDIO files or export as .BAND and import on MAC OS etc. But I thought that with the new mention (GARAGEBAND compatible) with ICOUD DRIVE it will become easier to do this kind of actions.

Please note that any documents that you've already stored in iCloud are automatically moved to iCloud Drive when you upgrade. This means that devices that are not supported with iCloud Drive may be unable to access your documents (more info):

My iCloud drive is slow to save and share Pages documents with my IOS devices
My iCloud drive is slow to update and share my Pages documents with IOS devices. When I save a document to the iCloud drive I get a Cloud symbol in the Name line (behind the document name) and a bar in the Size column (like it's trying to save the document but is unable to do so). When I see the document in the document list on the Pages app on my IOS device it has a gray line along the bottom and I can't open the document in the Pages app.
Same for me, too - for the last few days. Reminiscent of a few weeks back when iTunes and Apple TV ground to a crawl. Of course Apple system status is green. After several days it just started working again. At least with Mac iCloud I have tried to use multiple networks/carriers so now there's no blaming AT&T on this one.
Called support and got the extended wait time message. Gave up.
Love my devices and software, but Apple really has poor cloud support. They won't even own up to the issues. If my employer didn't block dropbox, absolutely done deal I'd be off iCloud back with Dropbox. -
How to get back iCloud drive icon in Finder?

I removed the iCloud Drive link from my Finder's favorites as I was unable to open it properly (only worked when using the context menu via right-clicking). Now, how do I re-gain access to it? I cannot find any iCloud Drive icon anywhere in the finder.Thanks, that solved it. Unfortunately, I still cannot open the iCloud Drive by simply clicking on the link in the finder, I have to do the route via Right-Click and Open in new tab. But googling that issue, I found another one having the same problem, so it is not just me at least...
EDIT: I should have read your post completely After Force-Quitting and re-starting the Finder, the link in the Favorites bar works.

How to remove a device that has been sold from iCloud Drive
I sold my iPhone 5, yet it still appears in iCloud Drive. Have been unable to find a way to delete using iTune, MBPR or iPhone 6 Plus.
If you mean that it still appears on the list of devices on iCloud.com when you click on your name and choose iCloud Preferences, you can't remove it yourself. Another poster said that Apple support told him that it is supposed to be automatically removed when the new owner uses it to sign into a different iCloud account.

Deleted files reappear on iCloud Drive
moved Pages files in newly created folders on iCloud Drive and everything looked fine. But after re-entering to iCloud Drive all files reappeared with attached "2" ??? I deleted all of them and they disappeared from the screen of the iPad (but same on iPhone 5S) just to reappear next time I come back...
How can they be deleted permanently?Thanks, I did that and do that basically every time before I log off. I read through all the other similar questions and tried them out. I downloaded cocktail and it gave me back about 3 gig (I have a 80 g hard drive and available space of 22 now). The one thing I am unable to do is reloading system files because I do not have the disk. So I was hoping that there are some other work arounds available. Any ideas???
