Unable to complete an app download onto ipad

I keep trying to download the "square" app and i always get the same message 'log in to the store to download' but i am logged into the store - even created to a new account thinking i could food the ipad and powered the machine on and off!  how can i fix this to complete the download?

You Mac App Store account is also your iTunes Store account. So I would abandon the new account and return to your regular Apple ID associated with the iTunes Store.
Open iTunes and log into the iTunes Store, log into your iTunes account and make sure that everything is properly filled in. Often the problem with getting apps in the MAS is that something is missing in the bank card information in your iTunes account. Make sure that the correct billing address is entered, as well as the 3 digit security code from the back of your card. PPerhaps drop to the bottom of the page and reset all notifications.

    This is a wild stab-in-the-dark but a system Reset cures many ills and takes but a minute to perform:
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
    A Reset does NOT delete apps, photos, movies, music or any other data. A Reset does NOT delete any settings for email, network access, etc.

    I have just bought 2 audiobooks on my iphone and want to download onto both iphone and iPad, but it isn't showing up in my iPad iTunes as 'downloading' as it does in my iphone. I have to connect to wifi to download it so it isn't downloading yet. Help?

    You would would have to transfer your audiobook from the iphone to the computer, then sync it to your ipad

  • Unable to complete photo book order on ipad

    Hi, I hope this is the right place to get some help. Regarding placing an iphoto photo book order on an ipad.
    I have been working on a photo book project for a long time, and want to finally order some copies of the book. Everything has worked fine, except that I get a message that I have some clipped text that may be exceeding its boundaries. I can't figure out where this is, no warning triangles are showing, so I choose to proceed with the order anyway. The next page is black/dark grey with a small icon of the front page of the photo book, and it says "done" ("ferdig" in Norwegian) on top. I can click on some words in blue writing on the top right of the page, "add delivery address" (in Norwegian). When I try to type somehing in there, nothing happens.
    Aaargh, this is so frustrating! I have checked that my address and credit card info is valid, in my apple id-account(itunes).
    Shouldn't there be some uploading of the album? And a choice of how many copies etc I want? I have checked my email and there are no order confirmations, so I apparently havent placed an order yet, despite the "done"/"ferdig" on top of the page.
    Does this sound familiar to anyone? What can I do?

    It sounds like you are unable to purchase a project youve been working on for a good long while, but the order process is not working as expected. I would start by verifying you have Express Checkout enabled in your Account Settings when you are at http://store.apple.com, with this info:
    You can review or edit your express checkout settings by accessing the Account section from the main navigation bar. Sign-in with your Apple ID and password to view your account settings. Click on the Edit button if you wish to edit your shipping address or payment method. You can also enable or disable the express checkout feature for this computer by moving the slider to the respective position.

    If so and your other billing info is correct, quit all the running apps on the iPad:

    It sounds like you are trying to update some of your apps and when you tap the update button, the update does not happen. I recommend starting by closing the running apps on the phone:
    iOS: Force an app to close

    Swipe the app up to close it.
    When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App Stores, and restart the phone and try to update them again:

    If the issue persists I would next verify that you can find it in your purchased history with ths article:
    Tap App Store.
    Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
    Tap Updates.
    Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
    So that you can then delete the app and re install it:
    Reinstall the affected app
    Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
    Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-left corner of the app.
    Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
    Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
    Press the Home button.
    Go to the App Store.
    Search for the app and download it again.

  • Numbers app downloaded from iPad doesn't show in apps when syncing with Macbook Pro

    I purchased an iPad mini today and updated to version 8.0 so I could download the Numbers and Pages App.  When I plugged into my Macbook Pro OSX 10.9.5 to sync it shows all the apps I have from my iPhone, but the Numbers and Pages app weren't there.  I had to download again from iTunes.  It then shows to be on my iPhone where I don't want it.  Am I doing something wrong?   Can I eliminate from just my iPhone? I don't want to keep data in the cloud.

    Cancel that, I've just seen the iphone icon on the itunes tool bar. all done.

However, when I look on the Ipad it is showing the purchase (even on the itunes, account history.
    For information, I have it set to automatically update purchases and have icloud enabled
    I also have a very fast wife connection.

    Some apps are NOT universal, for example, Angry Birds Space HD. That one can only be played on iPad, and not iPhone. Now, if you download an iPhone app, it can be used on both the iPhone and iPad. Example being, Angry Birds (non HD suffix). In iTunes, Apps that show up for "iPod touch, iPhone, iPad" can be used on all devices. Check that first, and make sure you have the app synced for each device.

    Your Adobe ID needs to be verified to work with DPS. Can you use that Adobe ID to sign in to the Folio Builder panel? If not, sign in to http://digitalpublishing.acrobat.com and follow the prompts to verify the Adobe ID.
    If your Adobe ID is verified, try removing the Adobe Content Viewer app from both the iPad and iTunes, sync, and install it again.

    Have tried, with appropriate permissions and access, downloading photographic images from a site. The site stats show images have been downloaded by me but they don't show up on the iPad. Where are the images? Please help.

    The iPad's version of Safari doesn't handle file downloads per se -- except that by touching and holding individual images, you can download them to the iPad's photos app.
    But it doesn't sound as if that's what you're doing. Can you give more information as to what mechanism you're using to download the images?
    You might also try the alternate web browser "Terra," which I haven't used myself but which as of v.1.2 purports to handle downloads of a variety of file types seamlessly.

    I downloaded an App from the 'App Store' on my iPad and it won't 'Sync' to iTunes. Using the '/Store' menu "check for available downloads" doesn't do it either. I also have 'checked' the "always check for available downloads" & "automatic downloads: apps" and that does nothing too. The only option left is to use iTunes to navigate to the App and then download from the "Cloud".
    Am I missing something ?

    I also have "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" and it's not displaying them either. But !, it is accounted for when viewing "account/purchases" (the purchase list).
    I shall check the "file/transfer" thingy :-)
    I always used to have it enabled for automatic downloads :-(
