Unable to compress a request.

Hi experts,
I am unable compress a request by manually and by scheduling in the process chain also it is not compressing.
when i open the collapse tab it saying No valid request exists for compressing
then i entered manually with request id. job finishing without compression and i found in the job log(SM37)
*No requests needing to be aggregated have been found in InfoCube
*Compression not necessary; no requests found for compressing   
*Job finished
in 10 seconds.
Process chain is also completed successfully without compression.
i don't know y it is not compressing the requests ?

Hi,
Note: Is "Tick" mark there against your request in requests tab?
If you are able to see your request in requests tab as not compressed, then delete this request and reconstruct it back from the Reconstruction tab. But please check in reconstruction tab to make sure the same request is available.
After the above activity, you can try to compress this request.

    After further analysis, I observed the request which I am compressing , has an selective deletion.Since its is 2year old data I would like to compress the data,please suggest is it possible to compress,If the request has selective deletion.

    Hi Abdul,
    Check that, if the cube that is being compressed feeds the data to a different InfoProvider, if yes then complete that laod first and then do the compression.  this might be the reason sometimes. if the cube is not feeding anything currently try compressing the request again.
    In some cases ,when  the compression is manually performed (in the tab collapse of the cube) no compression would be  done. In those cases you can try creating a process chain with only the compression step.  This often solves the problem.
    If both the above  process don't solve your problem,
    Try the SAP note :407230   (such problems occure after installing SP15.)

         I am sorry to post this problem here if it not relevant, but I have investigated so much but couldn't come up to a solution.
         I have developed a Web service using JAX-WS 2.1 and successfully deployed on Tomcat 6.0.14. My Web Service accepts and sends large data. So i have tried to use data compression on Tomcat.
         *I have successfully performed sending compressed HTTP Response from tomcat but not able to configure it for accepting compressed HTTP Requests.* If you need more details about my problem read further.
         I have successfully configured my tomcat server.xml like below:

    "Accept-Encoding: gzip"     But server returns error code 500( Internal Server Error). The server log shows error like:

    Solved it by going to the temporary folder for netbeans:
    C:\Documents and Settings\creator\.netbeans\6.0\apache-tomcat-6.0.14_base\logs This is where it is placed on my install drive. This is where it deploys the builds , not in the C:\Program Files\Apache Software\Tomcat 6.0.14 as I would expected.
    It seems that it is an IDE bug after all it is not cleaning the old logs. For today I found a 64 mb log (localhost.2008-01-02.log).

  • Differences in compressing the requests.

    Hi experts,
    What is the difference between compressing the request with:
    No marker update ( Checked ).
    No marker update ( Not checked )
    Zero elimination.
    And also if we fill the setup tables through mcnb ( Initialization of stock ). What exactly it mean ? ( Is it the stock which is there at the time we fill the setup tables ? ).
    And also suppose if we filled the setup tables of 2lis_03_bx through mcnb today and through oli1bw we need to the fill the historical data of 2lis_03_bf .
    Here what should be the date range.Is it upto yesterday? ( Bcz we have filled setup tables of bx though mcnb today ).
    Please explain me in simple words.Full points will be assigned.

    Stocks are calculated using the stock marker and appliying the movements types and quantities to that marker.
    If you compress cube with no marker update checked, movements compressed doesn't update the stock marker and are viewed as historic data, then after initialization the mark must be uncheckd in order to update the stock marker.
    To be more precise and simple marker update Updates the stock values and NO Marker does not.
    Generally BX upload has to be compressed with marker update and BF(and UM) delta init has to be compressed with NO Marker because Stock was updated with BX. And delta loads of BF and UM has to be compressed with marker update because these brings new Material movements which will has to give effect to stock.

    Zero Elimination Explaination
    Compression is nothing but moving the data from F fact table to E fact table by losing its request numbers.
    For cumulative key figures(compression)
    Here we have a option called zero elimination (it is applicable only for cumulative key figures). If you want to avoid the Info Cube containing entries whose key figures are zero values (in reverse posting for example) you can run a zero-elimination at the same time as the compression. In this case, the entries where all key figures are equal to 0 are deleted from the fact table.
    This is permitted only for Info Cubes , where key figures with the aggregation behavior ‘SUM’ appear exclusively. In particular, you are not permitted to run zero-elimination with non-cumulative values.

    Hi Mohan,
    I didn't use Fiddler before, I just download and use it but how to see the request message from this software?
    I have logged the request to event log before send to web service and copy this request from event log to testing with soapUI, so I don't think have between the actual messages being sent to your client via orchestration and soapui. In the log Response shape
    I see the fault response in event log.
    You can see
    this link to know how to use fiddler. As I suggested above the error you need to check is at the server side who is hosting the service( your party ) because you are getting fault response properly from them. The webservice you are calling seems to look
    like WCF service too. Your life would have been so easier if you could ask them to have firewall open from your dev box to their dev server so that you can use use "Add Service Reference" wizard, that even they have .NET wcf service too. 
    Did you by any chance manage to talk to them what they are getting or if they can increase the exception details in the fault message for you?

  • Not able to log out of application:JspServlet:unable to dispatch to request

    We are developing our application on oracle ADF (jdev verison:10.1.3.2). and deploying it in the SOA server(version 10.1.3.1).
    The problem with our application is that when the logout button is clicked the application gives the following error:
    500 Internal Server Error
    Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
    When the application log is consulted it reads:

    We have an application wherein a global navigation rule in faces-config is defined as

    I have a live login and MS ID 4 my SkyDrive account but I only use my MS  touch with 8.1, SkyDrive and office 365 for mobility.
    And I still like to backup to my own server!!!
    What would be good is if I can put all the software licenses and product  keys of the software and keep a record of my mac addresses for  hardware  and even static IP's in a file or a secure location within the MS online  store.
    That's where MS wants me to get my computing needs from in future and I  will always be able to retrieve it in future but what about the $$$$$ I have  spent on software, hardware and applications prior to now???
    I know u guys love 2 collect data 4 marketing analysis,
    4 example I have an old PC that is still running a server from last century  - if you knew about it a simple script would allow you to offer upgrades or at  least relevant MS products - UNLIKE the rubbish adds I just turn off or tune out 
    now...
    Why cant I add products previous online email purchases into the 1 MS live  ID account where I can keep it together? If you make that available I don't have  to have separate steam accounts, EA game accounts, ASUS and adobe accounts etc

    I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason -  there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that  had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the  next
    thing was total corruption of the OS.
    EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave  me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit  changes but so far, so good.
    The point is - what a crock !
    I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service  packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
    If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007,  vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to  put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!
    Unlike office 365 and SkyDrive space which is described in the T&C  (that we all read before ticking that radial button to agree of course) as ONLY  under a leased licence.
    IF Microsoft can support AND develop software that supports SQL2000  Servers, why is it so hard to archive and keep the same info for  everyone???

    EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave  me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit  changes but so far, so good.
    The point is - what a crock !
    I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service  packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
    If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007,  vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to  put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!
    Unlike office 365 and SkyDrive space which is described in the T&C  (that we all read before ticking that radial button to agree of course) as ONLY  under a leased licence.
    IF Microsoft can support AND develop software that supports SQL2000  Servers, why is it so hard to archive and keep the same info for  everyone???

    Yeah, it kept doing it when I was trying to change the delivery address, changed it on my apple main apple profile adress and then it worked on the repair page.

    Hi All,
    We are unable to create a request in CUP 5.3.We have created the "Number Range" and it is activated. Workflow path is looking fine.
    The strange thing is I am not getting any error message after submitting the request.

       What message do you get? There has to be some message. If you are not receiving any message then you might not have uploaded the .xml files into CUP. CUP comes with some initial data in the form of xml files and you need to import these files into CUP before using the tool.
    Without error message or some kind of long information, we won't be able to help you.

    We migrated our Exchange server from 2003 to 2010. After the mailbox move requests were finished we had one that was stuck. We basically skipped it as we had a lot of other things to finish over the weekend. Here we are a year later, the old exchange server
    is gone and so is an old DC. I am receiving an error every four minutes in event viewer.
    The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to process a request due to an unexpected error.

    I have checked in EMC for move requests. None are listed. I have checked the DCs listed in EMC properties. Old DC is not listed.
    I also ran these commands in shell to attempt to cancel the stuck request.
    Get-MoveRequest -MoveStatus Completed;Pending;InProgress;Failed;CompletedWithWarning;Suspended;Queued;CompletionWithProgress : Remove-MoveRequest
    NO changes. Still throwing error. Any suggestions? I also tried using the guid and shell to look at the move request. Systems replies no such request.

    Please try to restart iis services to check the result.
    If the issue persists, I recommend you ping you DC server on your exchange server to check if your exchange server can communicate with your DC server.
    If there are other DCs, please try to use set-adserversettings cmdlet to specify a DC for your exchange server.

    We have a multi domain parent child AD domain infrastructure and now we upgraded our exchange from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. Since last few days, we see the below error on the mailbox server event viewer.
    EVENT ID : 1121
    The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to process a request due to an unexpected error. 
    Request GUID: '93a7d1ca-68a1-4cd9-9edb-a4ce2f7bb4cd' 
    Database GUID: '83d028ec-439d-4904-a0e4-1d3bc0f58809' 
    Error: An Active Directory Constraint Violation error occurred on <domain controller FQDN>. Additional information: The name reference is invalid. 
    This may be caused by replication latency between Active Directory domain controllers. 
    Active directory response: 000020B5: AtrErr: DSID-0315286E, #1:
    Our Exchange setup is in parent domain, but we keep on getting this error for various domain controllers in each child domain in the same site. We then configured one of the parent domain domain controller on Exchange. Still we are getting this error for
    the configured parent domain DC.
    Verified the AD replication and there is no latency or pending stuffs.
    Any support  to resolve this issue will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    In addition to Ed's suggestion, I would like to clarify the following things for troubleshooting:
    1. Please restart IIS at first.
    2. If the issue persists, please ping your DC on your Exchange server to check if Exchange can communicate with DC.

    Since demoting a child domain a few days ago, Exchange 2013 is still trying to contact it and as a result generating errors in the application event logs.  I had a similar problem which I solved by removing some old migration batches, now I have a problem

    domain 'admin.riddlesdown.local'.. --> Unable to find a suitable directory server for domain 'admin.riddlesdown.local'..
    Process Microsoft.Exchange.Directory.TopologyService.exe (PID=2280). Exchange Active Directory Provider could not find an available domain controller in domain admin.riddlesdown.local. This event may be caused by network connectivity issues or
    configured incorrectly DNS server.
    The domain doesn't exist in AD Sites and Services, I have removed all traces from DNS but this is still occurring.  When I run Get-ADServerSettings | fl it reports no trace of the domain or a DC that was previously in it.
    How can I stop these events occurring and is it likely to be causing something else not to work correctly.
    We are running Exchange 2013 CU1

     Common causes of this error include the following:

    Try to do the following:-
    1. Note that bad  request number
    2. Go to SE16
    3. Open table RSODSACTREQ.: Filter the contents by that request number . There will be one entry for that request . Delete that entry
    4. Open table RSICCONT. There will be one entry for that request . Delete that entry
    5. Open Table RSMONICDP. Filter the contents by that request number . There will be 3-4 entries for that request  depending on number of data packages in  that request .Delete all those entries
    Once these entries are deleted , the bad request will be automatically deleted from the ODS.

    Are there other activated requests on top of this requests?
    In that case it wont let you delete this request unless those requests are also deleted.
    Try to change the status to red and delete.
    Else try this.
    Delete requests manually from the ODS tables.
    1. tcode se16.
    2. delete the request in these tables : RSICCONT (delete activated requests OR
    Make the selective deletion of the contents of that request), RSMONICDP, RSODSACTREQ (give the name of the ODS and the
    request ID and delete all the entries pertaining to this selection in that table.), RSODSACTUPDTYPE.
    The request will be removed from your ODS.
    Note 947481 - P32:ODS: Deleting partially active non-condensed requests

    I am unable to rollup one request in Infocube. I am getting the following error messages in Detail Tab.
    InfoCube XXX is locked by a terminated change run
    Lock NOT  set for :Roll up aggregates
    Rollup terminated : Data target XXX from X to Y.
    In SM12 I haven’t found any lock on the Infocube XXX.
