Unable to "Connect" and "Browse Registry" on systems running Windows 7 or later when creating applications

I'm setting up an application deployment in SCCM that needs to use the existence of a specific registry key as its detection method. When I choose this option I am presented with a button that allows me to connect to a machine and browe its local registry
to add the key in question, like so:
This feature works great on all our Windows XP/2003 machines. But if I try to Connect to anything Windows 7 or later I get the following error:
Since it works on older machines I'm thinking I just need to change some configuration setting somewhere to get it working for Windows 7 or later. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and (if so) is there a fix?

sr.esworkplace.sap.com is not on your home pc. Its a SAP public uddi.
If you want to connect to your own pc than your configuration would be sompething like this:
Server Name:localhost
Server Port:50000
Server HTTPS Port:50043
Inquiry Path:uddi/api/inquiry
Publish Path:uddi/api/publish
Security Path:uddi/api/security
And you shouldn't use this login data

When open Firefox 8, says 'Unable to connect' and no websites work. Internet connection is fine. Please help :(

My Firefox automatically updated to Firefox 8. Since doing so, when I open the browser the screen displays a box saying 'Unable to connect' and says the same for any website. My internet connection is fine. I uninstalled and installed Firefox again, but problem persists. Please help as this is really frustrating me :(

I have tried turning everything off and back on again. Desktop and laptop are working fine. Sometimes it turns on suddenly and I can use it for like 20 mins but then shuts off again. Same thing is happening with my dad's iphone, Help.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Can't delete or edit a Mail account that is unable to connect and it keeps notifying me and asking for password. Macbook Pro with Yosemite. If I highlight the account and go to Mailboxes, "Edit smart mailbox" is greyed out. Delete the mailbox is an option, but the mailbox just doesn't go away and no error message displayed. Tried Mail/Preferences/Accounts, highlighting account and using minus sign, it tells me the account is shared by other applications and gives me an option to go to Internet Accounts. At Internet Accounts, the only mail account showing is iCloud. Meanwhile, the pesky Mail icon is jumping around the bottom of my screen.
Can anyone help?

Did you ever find a fix for this? Mine is doing exactly the same thing, even with 2.01 - I hoped that might fix it. I'd rather not have to reset and erase the whole phone.

Since last week or 2 weeks ago, some of our users (both Batam and Singapore) here encountered a problem where they are not able to browse the Internet on their BB as they used to.
Example :
I did a test to browse on their BB
www.cnn.com
they will see below error:
“Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service, please try again later.
If the problem persists please contact your administrator “
However if we use ‘Google’ or ‘Yahoo’ search on the BB and entered ‘CNN’ and run a search on it.
We are able to open the CNN website – from the link result search by Yahoo or Google
It’s also applicable to other websites too.
Any idea?

Don't worry I've sorted it! I just had to turn off Reminders as well in iCloud. Calendar then worked fine, even when I turned Calendar and Reminders back on.

I have tried to uninstall all Abode Acrobat installations but one file remains and refuses to be uninstalled. It gives me this error : Error applying Transforms . Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. 1. Restart your computer to stop any Adobe process that is running.
2. Click on the following Adobe link. Go to the bottom where it says "Still having problems?". Click on the version of Flash Player for your browser.

Hi Guys...I am using SOA 10.1.3.1.0
I got the following error when creating application server connection
In Step 1:
I selected the Connection type as Standalone OC4J 10.1.3 (Why because I use this one)
In Step 2:
In this step I gave username and password (same username and password to connect to BPEL console)to authenticate connection
In step 3:
It is asking for Hostname, RMI port and URL path. My computer name is gopal-computer. I gave this hostname. RMI port number is 23791 by default. I kept this one as it is and URL path optional I think. I did not give any thing.
In step 4:
When I hit the test connection button its giving the following error

Error reading application-client descriptor: Error communicating with server: Connection refused: connect; nested exception is:

The sparse image article you sent a link to needs a little updating (or there's some variability in prompts (no password was required) with my OS and/or Disk Utility version), but it worked.
Phew! It would have been much more time consuming to use Time Machine to recover all my photos after repartitioning the drive.
