Unable to connect BBPB to laptop running windows 7 os

Still, after months of trying, I cannot get my playbook to install on my computer. In properties it says that windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31)
Any one have a fix for this? I would like to get this big fella situated on my laptop.
Also, probably could save yourself some time by not writing that I should restart and redownload and all that **bleep** because it hasn't worked. Not trying to be rude, but this is my third attempt on these forums.

There is no driver needed for Windows 7 as the PB installs automatically when you connect the USB cable to the PC/Laptop. Have you tried other usb ports on the Laptop?
The better alternative is to share the files on the PB and mapped the PB drive to your PC/Laptop over your WiFi network.
Chech out the Help App in the PB for how to set this up.
This method also prevents accidental damage to your PB's USB connector if you yanked the cable!

This is my first time so please excuse any naivety. I just taken delivery of my new Blackberry 8300 Curve and after some initial teething troubles all is well except that I cannot get it to work as a tethered modem. My laptop is running Vista Business and I've tried the fixes on 'crackberry' w/out success. I'm in the UK and my network provider is British Telecom and they are less than helpful. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I also had a same issue,then i went with installing the service packs of blackberry desktop manager software to get connected with vista,it worked fine.

Unable to connect iphone to laptop

After updating to itunes 11.1, my iphone 5 has been unable to connect to my laptop through the USB cable. When I plug it in, a sound plays as if connected, but nothing shows up in either itunes or my computer. Before updating to itunes 11.1, my iphone was able to connect to my laptop. Only after updating and restarting the computer as recommended, did my iphone stop being able to connect.
My laptop runs on windows 8 and iphone runs on iOS 7.
I have tried restarting my laptop and iphone but to no avail. I am able to connect my iphone to another laptop, also running on itunes 11.1. I have tried 2 different cables to connect to my laptop and neither worked.

Laptop (Running Windows 8.1) no longer able to print and now see message Active Directory Domain Services is not available

Have a very recent Lenovo Ideapad Laptop running Windows 8.1. Connected via USB port to HP LaserJet Pro CM1415 frw Color MFP Printer. Was able to print fine nearly 2 weeks ago, but something recently happened - either a new windows or office 2013 update
or perhaps I blew away a certain file by mistake. I can see the printer installed but cannot print to it from anything (Word, Notepad, IE, Firefox etc.). The one thing to note is that usually when I plug or unplug a USB related device, Windows 8.1 recognizes
this and makes a certain chime noise, but with the printer USB cable it never makes that noise - making me think that it never fully recognizes the printer. Also when I select the printer (from within the control panel) and right click for properties (via
admin rights) It never lets me fully connect to it.
I have tried all the usual remedies - remove, install all drivers, reinstall printer, Windows update, start/stop print spooler and all other printer related services, etc. Its really annoying because this printer was working fine nearly 2
weeks ago. Looking for any advice now. Thanks.

I noticed that you had reinstalled the printer. Just a confirmation, when un-install this printer, please check
if this printer still exist in registry. For more details, please refer to following KB.
Registry entries for printing
If printer entry still exist in registry, please delete that printer entry and re-install this printer again,
then check if this issue still exists. (Please backup registry entries before operating registry. It will help us to avoid unexpected issue.)

Need to add a new laptop running windows 8.1 to a shared network printer

Just got a new Dell laptop running windows 8.1 x64. My home wireless network has a shared HP Officejet 6000 E609a that is connected to a Dell Desktop running Window XP Pro. The laptop cannot connect with the printer. I think I need to download a Win 8 driver to my desktop but not sure which driver to download. I don't need the full feature software but just the basic Win 8.1 driver. I started to download OJ6000vE609_Basic_12_en.exe but it says Compatibility: Microsoft Windows XP x64 & Microsoft Windows 2000. Any advice would be appeciated.

If the printer connected to your XP laptop via USB and shared through the network, the installation will not locate a shared printer as you describe..
You may find the basic drivers for Windows 8.1 in the following link, however you will neet to plug the printer to your network so the installation will locate it, that can be done by plugging an ethernet cable from the printer to your router:

WRT54G & laptop running Windows 7

I have a WRT54G router with a desktop running Windows XP connected with an ethernet cable. I also have another desktop computer running Windows XP with a linksys PCI Adapter that connects "wireless" to the router. Both desktop computers work fine with the router. However I just bought a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop running Windows 7. I cannot get the laptop to make a wireless connection to the router. But if I connect the laptop to the router with an ethernet cable it works fine.
Any ideas?

Those Dells normally have a physical WiFi switch; on mine it's on the right side of the notebook towards the front and very hard to overlook. You may need to check that this switch is turned on. It's easy to accidently bump it and turn off WiFi without knowing it. Also, check the WiFi indicator light is on.
Otherwise, check the Wireless Adapter settings in the control panel and be sure the wireless adapter is enabled.

Share Deskjet 3650 on XP with Laptop running Windows 7

Simple question - maybe not so simple an answer. I have an XP PC with a USB connected Deskjet 3650. I want to share this device with a Laptop running Windows 7 64 bit. My attempts so far have failed - although I can see the printer when I search to add it but Windows 7 says there is no driver available to install. I did install the printer on Windows 7 with USB connection hoping it would use that driver - but no liuck. What am I doing wrong and is there a fix? Thanks

I saw your post about trying to install the Deskjet 3650 Color Inkjet Printer on your Windows 7 system. I have researched this for you and unfortunately, there are no drivers available for this printer and Windows 7.

Sharing a printer attached to an iMac with a laptop running windows 7

Hi, I have a an HP LaserJet P1005 running off my Mac - this is connected via USB. I have a laptop running Windows 7. I have printer sharing active on the Mac. The Mac can see the laptop but not connect to it. The laptop can not see the Mac. I simply want to be able to print to the LaserJet printer from the laptop but can't seem to be able to create the link. If anyone has a suggestion I would be extremely grateful. Thnx. Adam

I am using a dell laptop running windows 7 and have tried changing the file location to run the update in all of my iTunes files as well as when I've tried reinstalling it.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
