Unable to connect Ipad 1 to Itunes.

I have ios version 4.3 in original Ipad 1. I can not get Itunes to recognize the Ipad. I have tried using 3 different USB cables. I have reinstalled ITunes to the
latest version. I can not figure out how to update IOS version 4.3 to version 5 without using ITunes but I can't get ITunes to recognise it. Any suggestions?

There is no way to update the iPad without using iTunes. See if there is anything in here that helps.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Since updating my ipad to iOS 6 a few days ago i can't seem to get onto the internet, the app store or itunes, nor can i update to iOS7!! I sent an email to apple support and they said we don't handle these issues and redirected me back to the help forums which i have already seen and tried everything other people have suggested and nothing has worked (changing date, signing in/out of itunes etc). When i go to app store the screen is blank, in itunes it just keeps saying loading but never gets anywhere and same with the internet! When i go to settings to update to iOS 7.0.4 it says software update unavailable, try again later. Not sure what to do now. Nothing works, can't use my apps, facebook, music etc. Will contact apple again and try get some answers. But thanks for any info

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

TS1368 unable to connect with the apple itunes store. no error message, it just keeps "accessing" the store, and it is never successful. How do I overcome this?

I am unable to connect with the iTunes store. ITunes keeps "accessing", but that can go on for an hour. No error messages. It just never connects. How can I overcome this?

The question for me becomes what motivation do I (Apple's customer) have to download Autoruns from Windows, open a compressed folder, try to determine which Winsock Provider is mine, check for updates and then run whatever it is I need to run to fix this. All these steps just so I can access the Itunes Store and buy from Apple. It would seem that Apple would find a fix on their side so their customers don't have to do this. Is anyone from Apple listening???

Unable to connect iPad Mini to Wifi as of this morning

My ipad mini stopped connecting to Wi-fi just this morning. My regular iPad 3 and iPhone 5 and other devices are all able to connect. I downloaded the latest software update (6.0.2) and I am still unable to connect the ipad mini to wifi. It has been reset, restored, etc etc etc and still is not working. I've tried everything I could think of and find for the past few hours. The 6.0.2 update was supposed to fix it as per the description, but it did not. Note that everything was working fine until this morning and nothing changed - no app downloads, nothing with the wifi, etc.

Unable to connect IPAD w/ Retina display to CenturyLink wi-fi

The Ipad recognizes and shows the network, but will not connect when I type the password. The password has been verified. Do I need to try some other method of connecting?

Message that pop-up. "i need to download 10.7 or later". I can not download 10.7 because it says that my computer is not compatible. I downloaded itunes 10.6 but it does not work.

I have been using itunes on my computer for a long time and i just purchased an Ipad, but it itunes will not recognize it. how do i do that?

Unable to connect Ipad to wifi.

I am trying to connect the Ipad to a new network other than the one I usually use.password/username is correct,I see the network sign going round & round trying to connect but it doesnt seem to connect.Even tried to reset network.Any thing else I need to do?

In the case of public wifi, like Starbucks, the wifi may have too many users which means signal will be very poor.

How do you connect ipad 2 to itunes library using home sharing

How do you connect the ipad 2 to the itunes library using home sharing so you can listen on your ipad 2? I've seen directions for the ipad which tell you how to setup home sharing then open ipod and touch library in the left column, but when I hit library, nothing happens. I'm assuming the ipad 2 has something different about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
