Unable to connect jetpack to laptop

I logged onto the hotspot site 192.168.1.1 to change my settings and now i can't connect my laptop to my jetpack mifi device, need help please

jimmy33, got to get you reconnected! If you change any settings on the hotspot site, any previous settings saved for that network connection would cause the device not to connect. What you would need to do on any device that had previously connected is delete or forget the network. Scan for devices again and reconnect. The new connection can then be saved as the settings are now correct.
We are here to help. If it is not as simple as re-establishing a connection please advise us what make and model labtop you have and what operating system you are using? What model Jetpack do you have and what settings were changed?

Unable to connect iphone to laptop

After updating to itunes 11.1, my iphone 5 has been unable to connect to my laptop through the USB cable. When I plug it in, a sound plays as if connected, but nothing shows up in either itunes or my computer. Before updating to itunes 11.1, my iphone was able to connect to my laptop. Only after updating and restarting the computer as recommended, did my iphone stop being able to connect.
My laptop runs on windows 8 and iphone runs on iOS 7.
I have tried restarting my laptop and iphone but to no avail. I am able to connect my iphone to another laptop, also running on itunes 11.1. I have tried 2 different cables to connect to my laptop and neither worked.

UNable to connect 2nd HP laptop to Officejet Pro 8610

I have 2 HP laptops each with Win7 (64 bit) SP1 and I am trying to connect the 2nd laptop to an OfficeJet Pro8610 to print wirelessly. I have tried using the CD rom and downloading the drivers online but I cannot connect this laptop to the printer. I reach a point where the conncection process requires the printers claim id code but when I enter the code I have a message that this code is already in use (the other laptop is connected wirelessly) and in order to connect I must delete the other laptop. I'm at a loss here because I had connected both of the same laptops to my old OfficeJet 6700 and could print wirelessly from each without any setup issues at all. What am I missing here with the 8610?? Thanks Alkymst

The code you are entering is likely for setting up the ePrint email address for the printer. Once this has been done it is not necessary to do it again. An alternative is that the laptop is connected directly to the printer wirelessly with wireless direct. In this case you would need to disconnect the laptop from the printer to use the other laptop. A better setup would be to connect the printer to your router wither wirelessly or by a hardwired LAN cable. This would give the printer an IP address that you can find by touching the printer front panel (if the printer is in sleep mode), then touch the wireless icon at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the wireless LAN status where you can find the IP address of the printer. You should be able to set the printer up with the driver install wizard available from http://www.hp.com/go/tools.

Still, after months of trying, I cannot get my playbook to install on my computer. In properties it says that windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (code 31)
Any one have a fix for this? I would like to get this big fella situated on my laptop.

There is no driver needed for Windows 7 as the PB installs automatically when you connect the USB cable to the PC/Laptop. Have you tried other usb ports on the Laptop?
The better alternative is to share the files on the PB and mapped the PB drive to your PC/Laptop over your WiFi network.
Chech out the Help App in the PB for how to set this up.
This method also prevents accidental damage to your PB's USB connector if you yanked the cable!

Unable to connect 8300 to laptop running Vista, as tethered modem

This is my first time so please excuse any naivety. I just taken delivery of my new Blackberry 8300 Curve and after some initial teething troubles all is well except that I cannot get it to work as a tethered modem. My laptop is running Vista Business and I've tried the fixes on 'crackberry' w/out success. I'm in the UK and my network provider is British Telecom and they are less than helpful. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

First of all, thanks so much for your help. Here is the story: my wireless router used to work just fine (WRT54GS). There was a power outage that must have restored the settings b/c our wireless network reverted back to "linksys" and was unsecure. We were still able to establish a unsecure connection to the wireless network but my desktop couldn't. I reset the router and started over from scratch. I have connection to my desktop and all the lights on the router are back to normal but now I am unable to connect to my laptop. I played around with the basic wireless settings (swtiched up the network mode and channels etc...) but nothing doing. Anyone have any suggestions???

Check on laptop are you able to pick the signals ....if so try to connect to it & check the connection status.........
If shows connected ....try going online
if not .....let me know the Ip address........

I have restarted the PC, the iphone, changed the lightining cable and nothign resolves it: backup never completes.

Hi, I disabled the antivirus and the firewall. Same result
I even deleted the backup folder inside C:\Users\...\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup to eliminate any corruption in the old backup files.
Nothing changed: Session either times out or i get the same error message: itunes could not back up iphone because iphone disconnected. It always happens during step 3 out of 4 which is "transfering purchased apps from iphone to PC" and comes after step 2 which is backup.
My iphone 5 is not jailbroken, and is a factory unlocked phone.
Any other suggestion?

I have a Motorola SB6141 modem that is connected to a time capsule. I am unable to connect to the internet on my laptop and playstation 3

Ive just switched to a "Motorola SURFboard eXtreme Cable Modem" which is connected to a time capsule.
I am unable to connect to my internet via. wifi on my Playstation.
I have already tried many different attempts to connect to the internet. I have tried to directly connect to the internet using an ethernet cable as well as restarting my mac laptop and playstation. I am only able to connect to the internet on my main computer.

What IP does your main computer get.. ?? Post a screenshot if you can as it helps to see the details.
When you open the airport utility on the main computer.. click on the TC what errors does it show?
They will list in the summary.
What mode is the TC in? If the setup went wrong it might be bridged when it should be in router mode..
Remember any time to change things around with cable modems you MUST shut down the modem as well.. it cannot change the MAC address of the first item easily so need to be off.. a few minutes at least.. sometimes up to 20min or longer. Make sure the TC captures the public IP on the wan interface.. which is the only way this will work with a pure modem.
The most recent TC can still have issues.. new AC version TC and AE have the Max amount of issues with SB6121 and 6141.. there seems to be some ethernet issue between them..
What model TC do you have??
You can slow the LAN port down or specify the actual speed in the Gen1-4.

Hi, It's a newly bought printer. I am unable to connect to the printer via Wireless Direct from Windows 8.1 64bit laptop. I have enabled the Wireless Direct with security on the Printer. Connected to the Printer SSID from my laptop wifi. Created the new printer from Driver software. It discovers the printer with it's name,IP etc; Upon selecting the printer and click on 'Next' button on the screen, results in a 5 min search process and finally displays that it could not connect. I would contact Apple under your warranty. I doubt you received a new iPod since Apple's policy is to give you a refurbished iPod.

What router are you using? make/model/version
What security type are you using? If it is WEP then symbolic (non hex) keys may be converted to hex in different ways by different operating systems. Is your laptop a Windows PC?
If you are using WEP then drop it and move to WPA2. WEP has been deprecated by the WiFi alliance since 2004 as insecure (it can be hacked in seconds).

Unable to connect wirelessly on an Acer laptop using Vista

I have a Windows XP connected wirelessly to my Verizon Router M1424WR, but I am unable to connect wirelessly on an Acer laptop using Vista. The Vista can only connect with Ethernet. It will not accept the WEP key.

#1 Check the level of WEP. Two examples: 64 Bit, 128 Bit.
#2 And check to be sure, if you use a WEP password of Hex or Ascii.
