Unable to connect through QuickVPN to RV042 router

Hi!
I've RV042 router with the firmware 1.3.12.19.
I'm not able to connect from my QuickVPN client ver 1.3.03 to the router.
If anyone know the fix for the above issue kindly let me know.
Thank you,
Regards,
Muthu

Welcome to the forum!
There has been no end to the "Quick VPN not connecting" threads here on the forum, and there can be a number of factors that will cause QVPN to fail. It has gotten to the point where a fellow engineer has created a thread just for Quick VPN issues to try and keep everything contained in one place. It may be prudent to post your question in his thread that you can find at the link below.
QVPN Thread
However, if you would like to continue the discussion here in your own thread I would suggest the first thing you do is post at what point during the connection process does QVPN fail? For troubleshooting purposes go into the directory that you have QVPN installed which for most people will be Program Files>Cisco Small Business> and go into the Quick VPN Client folder. In this folder you will find a log.txt file. If you can post the output from this file (and please edit out your network information) then we might have a better idea why the connection is failing for you.

My problem manifests itself notoriously every 3-4 days. I have to do reset to connect through QuickVPN.

Today I experience even stranger behavior
this time even restart does not help
application QucikVPN shows an error and does not create tunnel
however, in the administration panel, the user appears to be connected

  • TS1398 Unable to connect to AT&T Uverse router

I am unable to connect to AT&T UVerse router with an IPhone and IPod.
I have an IPad that is connected just fine.
On the IPhone & IPod I notice that in the Network Settings for WIFI these fields are not populated:  IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router.  The DNS & Search Domains are.
All fields are populated on the IPad.
How can I populate those fields myself.  Of is they supposed to be automatically populated through my wireless connection?  I asked AT&T but they could not help.

These fields should be automatically populated if DHCP is selected.  Make sure DHCP is highlighted, if not tap that tab, then try to reconnect.  If you still can't connect, tap "Forget this Network", then try setting up the network connection again.
If the above doesn't work try rebooting your router by turning it off for about 30 seconds (you may have to unplug the power cord), then powering it back on.

  • Outlook 2010 and 2013 are unable to connect but OWA (and mail routing) works fine

    Hi-
Not sure why but this past Sunday (just after DST adjustment) outlook clients (using 2010 and 2013) were unable to connect to an Exchange 2013 server.  OWA and mail routing (internal and external) is working fine.  I've even tried on multiple machines
and all of them experience the same issue.  On a new machine with a fresh version of outlook 2013 installed here is what happens:
    Click on Outlook 2013
Click Next until the account setup is displayed.
    Name and email is auto-populated
    Established network connection is good
Searching for email address settings is good (once the self-signed exchange 2013 cert is accepted)
And then the logging onto the mail server fails.  The first pop-up is:
The Connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable.  Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
Clicking "OK" is followed up with a window with the Microsoft Exchange connection info.
It lists Microsoft Exchange server which is populated with: GUID@<domain suffix>
Mailbox which is populated with: =SMTP:<Valid Email address>
On the Exchange Server I have noticed that the Web Management Service (WMSVC) is stopped and will not start.  Starting the service outputs:
    EventID 7024
"The Web Management Service terminated with the following service-specific error:  Unspecified error"
    Not really helpful :)
Since this is only happening with Outlook on multiple clients I'm expecting something with Exchange or the ability for outlook to connect to exchange.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
I know this is an old post, but I'm having a very similar issue. I have CU6 installed and all other client connectivity apart from internal Outlook connectivity is working fine. I have distributed the new Self-Signed Certificate and the tested to verify
the clients trust it. I have tried on multiple machine with multiple accounts and none of them connect.
    I'm at the stage of reinstalling, but I would rather troubleshoot the problem, just in case ever hit the same wall in the future. I have run Test-OutlookConnectivity with the following output;

  • Unable to connect through Reports

    Hi,
I am unable to connect to Oracle using Reports alone.
Whereas I can connect /work through forms /SQL/ Discoverer.
When I try to connect from reports, I get the following error message appears:
PDE-PXC002 Program unit exception. aborted due to unhandled exception (4062).
Can somone tell how I can make the reports connect?
    Thanking you in advance,
    Srini

    Hi Srini,
It looks like you actually was able to connect to database, otherwise, you won't get Program unix exception.
Please check your program unix code to make sure the plsql code handles exception as error pointed.
    Thanks,
    -Shaun Lin

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

  • Unable to connect to DLINK DIR-825 router

I am trying to connect to a condo public wifi which uses a DLINK DIR-825 router. The network name and password is posted. I select the network in my wifi settings, and enter the password, and the iPad returns "Unable to join. Incorrect password".  I have shutdown my iPad, restarted the router, and attempted to join the network several times, to no avail.  Password is PSK2.

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

  • Officejet Pro 8500A unable to connect wirelessly to Ubee Modem/Router

I recently upgraded to a new "all in one" Ubee Modem Router (Model DDW366) and have spent hours attempting to wirelessly (both using Wizard and entering info by hand) print, but nothing has worked.  The only way I am able to print at this time is by printer cable connected to my MacBook Pro.  I'm unable to print wirelessly from my MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad.
HP will not advise me on how to solve this problem as printer is no longer under warranty and Cox Cable who sold me the Modem/Router combo are not willing to assist with this problem.
Can anyone advise me on how to print wirelessly again?

    Hello @drlogan0,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are encountering problems with getting your Officejet pro 8500A onto your new wireless network.
    I would like to help.
i would try restoring the network defaults. This will help erase any 'old' information that may be stuck in the printers memory. I would like to give you specific steps for this, but I am unsure if you have the 8500A, 8500A wireless, or the 8500A premium.
Basically the steps are, go into the network menu, and select restore network defaults.
If you have tried restoring the network defaults already, please review the following troubleshooting documents.

  • Unable to connect through Smart Update tool

    Hi,
Needing to check for some patch for WebLogic Portal, I tried to access to support service through Smart Update tool. My status can't be verified on the login phase (I still obtain an error message "Unable to verfiy your status") and can only work offline; so I can't download any patch.
Launching the tool in through command line, I got the stacktrace I suppose to be the reason for the error :

I tried to use several Smart Update releases (3.1.0.0 and 3.2.0.0) and to work with several JVM (32 and 64 bits, Sun and Jrockit) : none of this tries were OK.
My environment : Windows 7 Pro, 64 bits.
Is this an issue on my side or on Smart Update tool ? Is this due to my system (W7 ? 64 bits ?) Is there any system property I could use to pass the WSDL process ? Something else ...
Any help will be welcome !!
    Thanks in advance.
    Adrien.

    Hi Rakesh,
Thanks for your answer but I have already tested in both environement with and without proxy. And when I had a proxy I tried with and without proxy information configured in the preferences. I'd never been able to connect.
I don't know if the main error is the "can't connect" or the "WSDL error". Which of these two may be the real one ?
Turning one some trace features, I got an interesting information : the connection refused may be from the address http://pmlb.bea.com/axis/services/PatchConsumerService?wsdl

  • Unable to connect laptop using wireless Linksys router SES 36576

I have a Linksys wireless router (SES 36576) and a new HP laptop (Vista OS). Using my old laptop running XP, I was able to connect wirelessly. Linksys indicates that my signal is EXCELLENT; however, when I input the security key and it searches for the connection, it just flat-out will not connect. I don't know where to start because I've never had this problem before. Is my router compatible??
    Thanks for your help.

Hi, the number you have for your router does not match any model number for a Linksys router.  Wireless routers from linksys normally have their model numbers start with WBR
    My Cisco Network Magic Configuration:
Router: D-Link WBR-2310 A1 FW:1.04, connected to Comcast High Speed Internet
Desktop, iMac: NM is on the Windows Partition, using Boot camp to access Windows, Windows 7 Pro 32-bit RTM, Broadcom Wireless N Card, McAfee Personal Firewall 2009,
Mac Partition of the iMac is using Mac OS X 10.6.1 Snow Leopard
Laptop: Windows XP Pro SP3, Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG, McAfee Personal Firewall 2008
Please note that though I am a beta tester for Network Magic, I am not a employee of Linksys/Cisco and am volunteering my time here to help other NM users.

  • Not able to connect through IP address of own machine

I am able to access IIS through localhost or 127.0.0.1. But I am unable to connect through machine's IP address.
    e.g. I can browse http://localhost:8080/<application>
But unable to open through http://<local machine IP>:8080/<application>
    Please suggest......
    Thanks in advance
    Devi

Do you have a proxy configured in your browser? If yes, add your machines address to the Exceptions list of the proxy (open the settings dialog of your webbrowser, look for connections or something and proxy - there should be some entry field containing at least "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" - add your IP there)

  • Ipad not connecting to wifi, "unable to connect"

So i have done everything from turning off and on, network reset, and reseting the entire ipad to factory settings. Nothing has helped. The wierd thing is once I got a airport express, my ipad would only connect to that and nothing else. Or it connects in the apple store or at my school where this is a big network. My wifi recognizes other networks but won't connect to them. This is extremely frustrating because when I want to connect at friends places it doesn't connect, it immediately says "unable to connect", we tried reseting the router, we even tried playing with the frequencies on the router, I've also tried at other places and its the same problem. I've never had a problem with apple products until now. Someone please help me because I don't what else to do. By the way this is a Ipad 3 and I have the latest software update as well.

I have the same issues!! Please apple get this fix soon! It's starting to get really frustrating
