any suggestions to sync calendars?

What device do you have? Have you installed the Driver Update for pocketMac?

when I try to sync new Blackberry (9500 smartphone 3G) to Mac address book I get this message:

is this something really simple like a fawlty USB cable (it seems to charge the battery, though) - or something to do with configuration?
please help beforeI have to resort to loading contacts manually one by one!

the directions on the support website didn't work for me, but this did: go into options/memory/media transfer protocol --set to off
auto enable mass storage when connected --set to either yes or prompt
remove battery
replace and let it come back on, then try the sync again. I've had to do it several times over the last couple of months --something in the pocket mac-device connection gets corrupted. Also --after time, the sync program ceases to overwrite, so have had to purge it (user/library/application support/ pocketmac syncmanager/additional tools/data purge UI) purge the device, try to sync again, and if that doesn't work, then, do a hard reset and follow the above.... If you have verizon, forget it, they're not much help. good luck.

Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.

I am a new curve user and was reassured at the Verizon store that I would be able to download software that would enable to me sync my phone up with my Mac.
As promised, I found the software and downloaded it, however, I got the following error message when I tried to perform the sync "Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping."
When I began downloading the software, I read a notice that this version contained a correction to fix this issue, but it didn't seem to work.
I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software in case that was the issue and it's still not working.
I am really enjoying my new phone, however if I can't make this work, I'll have to go with a more compatible model.
Help anyone??

Please could someone help me.
I cant get my Blackberry to sync with my PocketMac, when i press sync it downloads for while then finished and says:
"There were warnings generated during the sync. Would you like to view them now?"
When i click yeas it says

ISync gave me: Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.

I´m trying to sync with my blackberry and it´s giving me that error: Unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); skipping.
And in the Devices menu don´t let me add a new device; have anything to do with that?

Blackberry devices are not compatible with iSync. To sync a Blackberry you should use PocketMac or Missing Sync and if you are having problems with either of those products you should contact the Support department of the relevant company.

Best practices says plug the USB cable into the computer, then plug the 30 pin connector into the iPhone.
If everything is working correctly, you should be able to plug the iPhone in at any time. Before or after opening iTunes.
Depending on what settings are selected in iTunes, the program may or may not automatically open when you connect the device.

I have recently acquired a Curve 9300 from Vodafone. I have registered for an ID but when I try to download a new application I get the message "Unable to validate address & password". When I click on "Forgotten password?" the message comes back "Unable to connect to World Server. Error Id: 30637". In addition the website does not recognize the combination of address and password. I have sent an email from my computer to my Blackberry email and it was received without any problems. Any ideas, please?

If you're now constantly losing signal in your building where you once had it good, I would suggest getting a free SIM card replacement from O2.
Your other connection issues... What is your Operating System loaded to your device? Look at Options > Device > About, third line down beginning with a "v.5.0.x.xxx", What is yours?

After successfully logging into Blackberry App World with my PayPal account I received the message..
Can not connect to Blackberry App World server. Make sure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again. I have been getting this message for the last few days. I am able to browse the net using the blackberry browser.

I have an ipod touch 2nd gen. I was able to sync it initially and upgraded to itunes version 8 twice (still dosent seem to take). when I plug in my ipod itunes does not come up. When I click on the itunes icon I get the error msg: itunes library.ilt could not be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes. I can not open itunes at all. I have restared my computer several times after the version 8 download. When i plug in the ipod nano (original ipod hooked up to the computer) it gives me the same error msg. I am considering going back to factory settings but am concerned that I will loose all songs and photos that I currently have on my ipod. Granted, there are some songs that I will be more than happy to be rid of on my ipod! If anyone has a soloution that would be greatly appreciated as I can not fully use my ipod! Thanks!!!!

My issue is that I have an older Nano 3G that has no issues working in my Vista computer with Itunes. Itunes works fine without my Ipod touch 2G. Once the cable is in the Touch Itunes stops responding. I have been through the steps to change the computer thinking it was a digital camera but now Itunes won't sync my touch or upload my Nike+ information. I have been through most of the help articles been through resetting the touch, reinstalling Itunes and the other programs, multiple reboots, checking if the programs are running using the run dialog box.

Hello to All! I used the BB Storm for a month then switched to the Curve, and unfortunately Pocketmac just does not work! Traveled from You tube to Crackberry and now blackberry support groups and communities... same questions, same problems and no solution. (Aaaargh!) So far the only way for me to sync calendars is thru google calendar. (Contacts/Address books works just fine syncing w pocketmac except calendars which i need of course..) - I've heard and seen threads suggesting Missing Sync...I might just do that or by some miracle you guys make it work... pleezzz let me know. For now, it's a Friday night, going out with my girl friends beer on my left and my BB on my right hand! hehehe! Cheers to all!

What router are you using? make/model/version
What security type are you using? If it is WEP then symbolic (non hex) keys may be converted to hex in different ways by different operating systems. Is your laptop a Windows PC?
If you are using WEP then drop it and move to WPA2. WEP has been deprecated by the WiFi alliance since 2004 as insecure (it can be hacked in seconds).

Well,I don,t have to return this Playbook after all! I'm so glad I called Tech support at 8776448410 and I got ahold of Spencer in Costa Rica and this guy knows what he is doing! So here is the solution..............
First, wipe your device after backing up your data to BlackBerry Desktop Software if you can. This does work, but you will lose your data you haven't backed up to another location.
Next, get connected to a Wifi source so when your BlackBerry tablet reboots and comes back up in its original startup mode, you can download necessary updates. Once this is done and you have gone through the tutorials to get you familiar with your Playbook, you will need to open BlackBerry Appworld and in thebsearch box at the top right, enter "BlackBerry I'D" if you haven't seen a screen prompting you to do so before this.
Click the "Create BlackBerry ID" icon and start with a new email address. I recommend. Hotmail since are easiest to link to your Tablet . Fill in with a verifiable email address and secure password. Write it down if you have to. Younwill be taken to another page where younput in your payment information so you can buy Apps. You can use a credit card or PayPal. Fill in your info and when done, click "done' or 'save" and you will be taken back to the BlackBerry I'D Login page. Read-enter your info again exactly as the first time and you will have successfully created a BlackBerry ID!
The one thing that threw me is your login username. If you put in your old email address and you tried using that before, the BlackBerry Appworld system sill boot you back out to your login page with an explanation of errors or an error code! I did inform BlackBerry they need to have a knowledge base of codes to assist their customers with! Also, I recommended that BlackBerry create a click to chat live service to help direct traffic. Now that my BlackBerry Playbook is up and running, I'm glad I didn't return it!
