Unable to connect to I-phone
I cannot connect my I-phone to my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Physically plug the cable into the dock connector on the phone and the other end of the cable into an available USB port on the computer.

Since I've instaled the Airpor express, everithing connected to it works properly, My wifi network signal is good and I able to browse with my mac air, bu with my I-phone 4S even though the signal apears to be good and on the it shows is connected to my wifi network I can't open any web-site, instead I keep getting the same message: "Cannot Open Page - Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding.", wich is not true because I'm connected with my lap-top. The sound wifi system works perfectly but reggarding the wifi on my 4S I've tried changing through different chanels on the Airport (I saw people were having the same problem and aparently by changing the channels on the Airport the internet on the phone worked properly, but I'm still stuck with a brand new I-phone unable to opem my pages) I've also tried changing the Radio modes and still nothing.

L2TP w/ PSK unable to connect via the phone dataplan, has anyone come across this?
I have been messing around with this on my Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0.2 and have confirmed the following settings for VPNs to our corprate firewall.
PPTP over Dataplan CDMA -- Everything works fine
PPTP over Dataplan LTE -- Untested due to lack of availability where I live and work, will test at a later date.
PPTP over WiFi -- Everything works fine
L2TP over Dataplan CDMA -- Connection timeout
L2TP over Dataplan LTE -- Untested due to lack of availability where I live and work, will test at a later date.

OpenVPN not supported without rooting the phone -- Verizon please add this functionality into your base ROMs for all of your phones.
The reason I ask about anyone coming across this or having a fix is PPTP may work but it's old/insecure comparitively and may be going away in a future stable tree release of the corprate firewall I work with. The full support of L2TP and/or OpenVPN/SSL-VPN would make life a lot easier for us techs who need to bounce into a server quickly and do what's needed when having a PC at hand is impossible, ie at a sitdown resturant. If you need logs of the connect attempt let me know and I'll get them to you. I did however see this error posted on the Samsung Fascinate forum as well.As of yet no, they are on my list of people to call but I won't be able to get to that call until a little later, once I do call Verizon Tech support I will reply with the post here if it hasn't been answered by someone who has come up with a workaround on the issue.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I am fed up with Spring and Apple passing me off to one another and neither will fix the problem. I am unable to receive a connection on my phone.
The internet goes out and I have to reset network setting each and every time. This is only a temporary solution which by the time I release the line with Spring or leave the apple store the issue is back. Sprint indicates that it is a know issue with the Iphone 5 and apple says it is a network issue as Sprint's network is not up to par with the Iphone and can not meet the expectations on the Iphone 5.
I have attached a few picture, as you can see it clearly says I have 5 bars and 3g available but I have no connections what so ever.
This issue affects all data and so I can not send or receive picture messages, use apps, or access the internet. The data goes in and out intermittently and it seems the phone chooses what I can and can't do.
For example I can watch Youtube or Vevo videos but I can not access Facebook or Instagram.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I will soon loose my patience....

ThanksNoooo! Actually I too had d same prob wit my iPhone 4S. When I connect to my wifi network it won't get connected or it wil be grey scaled! I took it to d istore and since I had warranty they replaced my IPhone. It iPad charger has high volt than ur iPhone charger so when u connect wit it, there is a chance where large amount of current passes thru ur iPhone. So for sure it wil damage ur motherboard and its parts! Many said that iOS 6 or 6.0.1 or 6.1 was d reason for tis wifi prob! But apple never made its mistake wit it's software. If and only if u hav hardware prob u wil hav these sort of wifi prob Bluetooth prob! So best way s to replace ur iPhone!

Yesterday I reset my settings on my iphone 4 to correct a problem. Today I am unable to connect to itunes to sync my phone. The device does not show up on the screen. What can I do?
Best practices says plug the USB cable into the computer, then plug the 30 pin connector into the iPhone.
If everything is working correctly, you should be able to plug the iPhone in at any time. Before or after opening iTunes.
Depending on what settings are selected in iTunes, the program may or may not automatically open when you connect the device. -

Ever since my last update I have been unable to add songs from my i tunes library onto my i phone. The "add to" button does not appear for me when I connect my i phone. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

i replaced my phone at apple y'day, due to a broken screen. Brand new phone, but i am unable to connect to wifi, at home or work, so presuming its a fault with the phone? not router, i have also done a software update, is there a solution? thanks

Is anyone else able to use the internet around you, say a computer or another device? If they are unable it might be your modem. You can always try to reset your modem. Simply unplug it and plug it back in,
