    ASA 5505 configured for WebVPN connecting to Citrix Web Interface.
    i have a ASA 5505 that I am attempting to configure for WebVPN with passthrough into Web Interface .  The user authenticates into WebVPN OK and gets the option to click on the Citrix Link (which is i add bookmark  citrix server http:// 172.30.40.5.) i enter the citrix and then for example  i want to open to outlook it can not open. (when i want to open some application no application is open)).there is no alarm at asa. how i solve this issue?
    thanks.

    Teymur,
    Can you confim that after disabling the ssl/tls on the Citrix server (secure connectivity) that you are getting exactly the same error.  It is possible that it is generating a different error.
    The bug where we have see the existing error was CSCtf06303 but that has been fixed in 8.4.1.  Can you confirm the exact version of code you are running on the ASA.
    If you have confirmed the above two notes it may be adventageous to open a TAC case as we may need to do some live additional troubleshooting.
    Thanks

  • Warning System spameater Unable to connect to Cisco Web Security Service.; URL Filter...

    My C670 ESA's have been throwing these alerts intermittently for the past few days, anyone else seeing them?
    The Warning message is:
    Unable to connect to Cisco Web Security Service.
    URL Filtering will not work correctly.
    Please verify all network, proxy and firewall settings.
    Connection to "v2.sds.cisco.com" failed.
    The last error seen on this connection: "Request failed with code: 28 (Connection time-out)"
    Version: 8.5.6-092
    Looks like it is open on port 443 and currently up.  Hitting it with a browser gives me:
    https://v2.sds.cisco.com/
    After an error or two they go away and appear OK.
    Checking the logs I don't see a way to verify URL lookups are working, is there a way?
    Also, I setup URL filtering six months ago and had it set to only trigger on (-10)-(-9.5) and saw about an 80% false positive.  It has improved over the past six months drastically but still catching mostly advertising URLs and allowing all phishing URLs right through.  I've yet to see it block a phishing URL.

    After lots of trial and error, I was able to eliminate this problem.  What I wound up doing is defining the XE service again in the listener.ora file:
    SID_LIST_LISTENER =
      (SID_LIST =
        (SID_DESC =
          (SID_NAME = XE)
          (ORACLE_HOME = C:\ProgramData\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server)
    I know that typically you should not have to do this, especially since I already had defined DEFAULT_SERIVCE_LISTENER = (XE) at the bottom of the listener.ora file.  Explicitly defining the XE service in the listener.ora file allows the listener to find it while the system is running under the Cisco AnyConnect VPN.  The only hiccup I found by doing this is that the XE service is discovered twice by the listener when the system is NOT running under the Cisco AnyConnect VPN.  It still works OK.  The listener just seems to ignore the repeated definition of the XE service (see output below):
    C:\ProgramData\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\bin>lsnrctl service
    LSNRCTL for 32-bit Windows: Version 11.2.0.2.0 - Production on 13-JUN-2013 10:03:15

    The command completed successfully
    If anyone has a cleaner solution for this problem, please let me know.  Otherwise, I am moving forward with what I did.

    when you go through your carrier provider, there is an additional step in the SSL tunnel. Not sure how this transcribes, but it is possible that your carrier does not use the same port as the one you want it to use.

  • Why am I unable to connect to the Web when I'm in a WiFi hotspot?

    Although I'll have a strong web signal, I'm often unable to retrieve Mail or use Safari. I was in my hotel lobby yesterday (they advertise free Wi-Fi) and Safari would only show the hotel website. I was unable to use any of my Safari Bookmarks. I recently received the same message at Tokyo's Narita Airport.
    I was able to retrieve my .Mac mail messages and use Safari at a WiFi spot at the Seoul Airport. However, on a return flight several days later my Touch would only show the Seoul Airport Webpage. I was unable to retrieve messages or use Safari.

    In many places that offer free wifi you need to log-in to their web page. This then allows a proxy server to respond to your requests. If you don't log-in to that one web page you can see none of the +iPod touch+ internet applications will be able to get a connection.

  • Unable to connect servlet on web server

    Hi all,
    I have wrote the following program to connect to the servlet to the web server:
    public class HTTPTest
         public HTTPTest() {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
         HTTPTest httptest = new HTTPTest();
              httptest.sendHTTP();
    public void sendHTTP() {
              try
                   URL url = new URL("http://myserver/myServlet");
                   HttpURLConnection conn = (HttpURLConnection)url.openConnection();
                   conn.setDoOutput(true);
                   conn.setRequestMethod("POST");
                   conn.setRequestProperty("Content-type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded");
                   PrintWriter dos = new PrintWriter (conn.getOutputStream ());
                   dos.println("content=" + URLEncoder.encode("ABC"));
                   dos.println("signature=" + URLEncoder.encode("CDE"));
                   dos.flush();
                   dos.close();
                   conn.disconnect();
              catch(Exception e)
    My servlet does contains some code that write log to the web server log. However, when I examine the log after running this program, nothing was written. But when I access my servlet using an HTML page, it works!
    I am using iPlanet 4.0 SP4, JDK 1.3. Can anyone tell me why? thanks very much!
    Walter

    Thanks very much! It works.
    However, another problem comes. For the two fields that I "POST"ed, it seems that one can reach the servlet but one cannot. When I retrieve the values from the servlet using "req.getParameter("XXX")", one of them got null. But obviously my applet does not send null values.
    Any other thing is needed? Thanks!

  • Unable to connect to mongod web service over LAN

    I have mongod running on the standard port 27017.  The web service is running on 28017, as I've verified I can access it from localhost.  But I'm running the computer headless and would prefer to get it on another box.
    Any attempt to connect to port 28017 by either ip or hostname results in a cannot connect error.  Other web services running on the same box on non-standard ports are accessible.  What am I missing?

  • EA2700 - Unable to Rollback to old Web Interface

    Hello,
    I have an EA2700 which I am trying to rollback to the older interface, however it errors out every time I try to install the firmware.
    All I ever get is this message:
    Unexpected Error The firmware update did not complete successfully. Please try again later.
    We've encountered an unexpected error. If the issue continues, please visit our Technical Support site.
    I've reset the router multiple times, powered it off overnight, re-downloaded the file multiple times, and am still unable to successfully rollback. Sometimes it even errors out when I try to set the password on the router itself and I have to reset it again before I can use the interface.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    First of all you can try to do the 30/30/30 Hard Reset. The following procedure will clear out the NVRAM and set Router back to default values:
    With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on back of unit for 30 seconds
    Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
    Plug the unit back in STILL holding the reset button a final 30 seconds....
    Then to rollback the previous firmware here is the link for the same: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=227c9e6286124532ac52a643ca4122a5_Rolling_back_the_...

  • Unable to Config WRE54G via Web Interface-Any Thoughts?

    I have reset my WRE54G (version 1) to factory defaults, yet I get no response to ping or HTTP on 192.168.1.240. IP config on computer is correct--LEDs on WRE54G not indicating any issue and I can see the default SSID on my site monitor-so it is not totally dead, just brain dead apparently. Tried disabling the WEP on my WRT54G2 and doing "auto config" and that did not seem to help either...
    Any thoughts on what I might do to get back to web UI?

    Try this :
    Go to the setup page of the router and unsecured the network and click on save settings...Now,use auto-config feature of WRE.. Check this link. Wait for the Link and Activity lights to go blue on the range expander which will indicate a successful wireless connection between the expander and the wireless router/access point.
    Now,on the wireless computer,connect to the unsecured network and try to access the gui for the wre54g by typing 192.168.1.240 in the address bar and secured the network and click save settings...Now,go to the setup page of router and put the same security key and save the settings...Power cycle the entire network and try to connect the secured network on your wireless computer.

  • Can't Connect to Web Interface

    I have a Valet M10 and I'm trying to connect to the web interace to set up port forwarding.  I've tried typing in the 192.168.1.1 address into 2 different browsers but it won't connect. Furthermore when I try and install the Cisco Connect software it gives me an error and won't finish the installation.  My wireless works fine but I can't seem to connect to the web interface no matter what I do.  Any ideas?

    Well the scenario that you explained in that case you can try the following steps:
    If you want to make use of the Cisco Connect Software then in that case you need to uninstall the existing Cisco Connect Software Reset the Router, power cycle the whole network and Reinstall the Cisco Connect Software... Then update the firmware of the Router which can be downloaded from the Cisco Website ( homesupport.cisco.com )....
    If you want to do it manually then reset the router, power cycle the whole network then check the default gateway address and then try to open the Router setup page..As well as update the firmware of the Router which can be downloaded from the Cisco Website ( homesupport.cisco.com )....

  • Planning Web Unable to connect

    Hi,I am unable to connect via planning web. I have tried all username passwords that I used but nothing works.Is there a default/username password to connect to planning via web.Appreciate your responseThanks

    The issue has been resolved. Apart from the missing PAG file issue, the admin password was also changed. So when I restored the old password and the backup files, everything started working.
    However, can anyone explain why I cant change the admin password. This was the password used at the time of installation. Are we stuck with this password. I am sure there must be a way to change it. Can anyone reflect on this issue?
    Secondly, when we change the admin password from shared services, is it necessary to go to planning --> administration --> manage data source and enter the new password for essbase connection ?
