Unable to connect to store to get updates

I'm unable to get updates and apps on my iPhone 'cause I can no longer connect to the store. I had an AOL password and even though I've changed it in iTunes - I log in on my phone it wants to default back to my AOL screenname and will not allow me to connect. I've restored my phone hoping that this would correct the problem, but no luck.
Any help?

I can connect to the store via iTunes on my G5 but I cannot connect to the store via my iPhone. When I go to log in (on my iPhone) it defaults back to my old AOL screenname - even when I have gone into settings and changed the login to the new one... it will not accept the password - new, old, or otherwise.

    search SAP notes for your tomcat clustering or cluster.properties. You need to add your cluster members to the web.xml or the cluster.properties file (some direction is in the web.xml file to follow).

    Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
    If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and changing the date to a few months (or maybe a year or two) in the future and then re-trying

  • DPM 2012 R2 unable to connect to Database after failed Update Rollup 4 Installation

    We have a DPM 2012 R2 Server with SQL Server 2012 installed locally.
    We tried to install Rollup 4 for DPM 2012 R2 (KB3009516) using Windows Update
    and it failed with error code 0x80070643. Now when we open the DPM Console
    it is totally empty (no Protection Groups, Servers, Disks, just like a fresh install).
    In the eventlog we get a lot of Errors and warnings:
    Event 941 (MSDPM)
    Unable to connect to the DPM database.  Make sure that SQL Server is running and that it is configured correctly.
    Cannot open database "DPMDB" requested by the login. The login failed.
    Event 4209 (MSDPM)
    The description for Event ID 4209 from source MSDPM cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
    The following information was included with the event:
    DPM Writer encountered an internal error.  Please restart the DPM Writer service, and then try the backup operation again. For additional troubleshooting information, review the application event log and the DPM Troubleshooting Guide.
    Event 107 (Report Server Windows Service (MSSQLSERVER)
    Report Server Windows Service (MSSQLSERVER) cannot connect to the report server database.
    Event 274 (SQLISService110)
    Microsoft SSIS Service:
    Registry setting specifying configuration file does not exist.
    Attempting to load default config file.
    Then there are some Errors/warnings from SQLSERVERAGENT about failed scheduled Jobs.
    I think the failed Installation changed some database Settings, so that now the DPM Console
    cant access the database anymore.
    I would be happy if someone can help me getting this Server working again!

    Our biggest problem is, that the DPM is not working any more. So there is no chance to backup the SQL Server via DPM.
    I think the main problem is that DPM have no access to the database. Every time I start the DPM Application, I get an error "verify that the DPM service is running on this computer". In the eventlog are many errors that the msdpm service was unable
    to connect to DPM Database. Another "information" is that the user 'nt authority\system' failed to open the database of dpm.
    We've tried to reinstall the DPM but its still the same problem. I suppose that is a corrupt database.
    Tomorrow I try to restore the database and hope it will be the solution of our problem.

    I updated Flashplayer and then found that Google Chrome has installed itself on my PC. I swear I did not give it permission. I was then unable to connect to my usual websites, getting message unable to connect to ....
    I have uninstalled Chrome and now cannot access the internet via Firefox.

    If the printer is WPS capable.. most wireless printers are.. please us the WPS method.
    Open the airport utility and highlight your TC..
    Then go to the top menu area... and select WPS.
    This will open another menu area. I recommend you select first attempt.
    Then select WPS connection in the printer and attempt to connect.. you have 60sec to connect.. after which any attempt will fail.

  • WiFi ( 802.1x EAP TTLS PAP ): Unable to connect since 2.3.3 update

    I previously posted this on the Motorola Owner's Forum and am still waiting for a fix or at least an official confirmation of the problem. 
    Ever since the 2.3.3 update, I have been unable to connect to the wireless network at work.  The connection worked fine prior to the update.  The connection at home with WPA still works fine. 
    The network status cycles through the following sequence:
    Scanning...
    Connecting to <network>...
    Obtaining IP address from <network>...
    Disconnected 
    The corporate configuration is as follows:
    Security: 802.1x
    EAPEAP method: TTLS
    Phase 2 authentication: PAP
    CA certificate: (unspecified)
    User certificate: (unspecified)
    Use proxy server: (unchecked) 
    When I go into Manage Networks and select Modify network for the configuration, I find that Phase 2 authentication always shows None.  If I change it to PAP and then click Save, the setting does not stick: the next time I check the configuration, it is None. 
    I've done a factory reset.  I've configured the network settings with WiFi Advanced Configuration Editor.  I've configured the network settings with WiFiConfig Editor Pro.  All to no avail. 
    Please help.  I need to be able to connect to the corporate network.  If there is a known issue, it would be nice if someone would at least confirm it. Thank you.

    My original Droid actually worked with the Andriod 2.0 release, but 2.1 broke it and it hasn't worked since.  I believe the Android codebase DID fix this, however Verizon has not made it a priority to include the fix in their releases.  I now have a Droid 4 running 2.3.6 and it is still broken.  Many of my coworkers have this same issue, but ONLY THE ONES ON VERIZON!  Other carriers have apparently figured out how to port this fix into their releases, regardless of which Android phone. 
    Come on Verizon, fix this so we can stop wasting your 4G bandwidth!!!

  • Domain Group Policy changes causes clients to be unable to connect to WSUS for Windows Updates

    Domain Controller is Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit, Group Policy Management version 6.0.0.1. WSUS server is Windows Server 2008 Enterprise 32-bit, Update Services version 3.2.7600.226. Client machines are Windows 7, some are 64-bit and some are 32-bit.
    Every time we make any changes to any of our Group Policies most of our clients stop getting their Windows Updates from the WSUS server within 2-3 days. This occurs when we add a new policy for a group of users, temporarily disable a policy or edit a policy.
    Check of the WindowsUpdate.log on affected client machines shows:

    We do not use a proxy except for Internet connections. We configure IE with a pac file. This is set through Group Policy since we restrict user accounts from being able to set it.

    I have a routine that will fix the problem but it is time-consuming and pulls me away from other things I should be doing:
    Run registry files on client machine (WindowsUpdate and AU) This is not always necessary and is already set by Group Policy and the affected clients already have the registry settings. No idea why it is necessary to do but it the steps below don't always
    work unless it is.

    ipconfig /flushdns
    Delete qmgr*.* files from Downloader folder
    Delete Software Distribution folder
    Run from command prompt:

    This routine always fixes the problem but I've found that I must do each step to guarantee success.
    How or where is the proxy setting being changed for WSUS that we see in the WindowsUpdate logs and how do I prevent this from happening? It is also curious that it happens to most but not all of the client machines. When it does happen it's not always the
    same client machines.

    You're right - the WSUS server is on the inside and does not need a proxy server. Tried running the netsh winhttp reset proxy command but was still not able to connect to the WSUS server. After running the netsh winhttp reset proxy command received response:

    Ran a batch file which resets the AU and WindowsUpdate registry keys and then runs the steps listed above:
    regedit /s C:\WindowsUpdate.reg

    net stop bits
    net stop wuauserv

    del C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.*
    del  /F /Q C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\*.*

    After this runs, am able to connect to WSUS server for updates. I mentioned Group Policy changes because this only breaks after the Group Policy changes. It doesn't affect every client machine but most of them. Was wondering how the proxy gets reset from
    none to the proxy server for Windows Updates?

  • TS1453 ATV1 unable to connect to store

    In the last couple of days my gen 1 ATV has been unable to connect to the store.  It seems fine with youtube etc, but wont even allow me to view trailers from the itunes store. 
    I've checked settings &amp; everything looks fine (network test is ok).  I've even done a factory restore with no results.  While I could still see the store menus before, after the restore they don't even appear (almost like its off the network - which can't be he case if youtube works).
    Any ideas?

    I have been reading all the posts and similar posts and want to note a few things:
    1. As of this morning (New York City time) I am still having the same problem that we have been writing on.
    2. Big thanks to Elkoth who has been doing his best to bring in all the others posting on different Apple Support Communities Discussion boards about the same issue.
    3. Most of the contributors to the threads have an ATV 1st generation like me.  I have read in different threads that some are experiencing this issue with ATV 2nd and 3rd generation as well. Please follow up and restate your device.
    4. I read mention of jailbroken ATV 1st generation and it made me wonder if anyone/everyone/no one following this thread had/has their Apple TV 1st generation jailbreaked prior to doing the factory restore.
    5. Factory restore does not solve the problem.
    6. The problem is happening all over the world including UAE, Europe, Australia, Korea, Japan, and Brooklyn (BROOKLYN!!!! YAHHHHH!).
    7. If this is happening with the ATV 3rd generation as well, running out to buy a new ATV is a waste of time and effort for the next few days (unless you read item 10 first).
    8. ATV is rumored to begin shipping in the late fall/early winter of 2014 meaning if this issue is not resolved, the ATV 3rd generation users have a SERIOUS issue on their hands unless Apple resolves this issue. If you have an ATV 3rd generation please speak up so that we can track who is affected and if we should go out and drop $99 for an item that will be replaced in 8 months or so with an ATV 4th generation.  I find it odd that none of the usual suspects like macintouch or ipodlounge have mentioned this issue at all.
    9. Does anyone have Apple phone support and reached out to Apple for some insight or the Genius Bar?
    10. And finally, did anyone actually go out and buy a new ATV 3rd generation and if so, are you having the issue?  I would assume that you now have free 90 day phone support.  If so, throw us a bone and tell us your experience with them!!!

    Since the last update my iPad 1 has been unable to connect to Safari although my wifi at home is enabled? Have tried to reset network settings and rejoin my network but still no luck? Any ideas?
