Hi,
One of the user is trying to run reports from PWA 2010 and gets the below error.
Unable to connect to the analysis server the server name was not found.Please verify the name you entered is correct and then try again.
Errors in the ole db provider.An error occurred while loading the connection dialog boxcomponent for prompting.
Please advice why?

Which kind of reports are you running? Excel using OLAP?
If so, check out on your Excel sheet connection information to see if it's using the SSS Authentication mode:
I'm asking this because if the failure happens with a single user, the authentication method is wrong and you should set up Secure Store Service properly.

Recorded Videos after Sync: The requested URL was not found on this server.

A few days ago, i recorded a couple of videos. They were saved properly and i could watch them after it in the Camera Roll of my iPhone. Because my memory was almost full, i connected my iPhone to my MacBook and synchronized about 900 old pictures with iPhoto and selected to delete the pictures after the sync. I did not select the recently recorded videos.
After the sync, i opened the Camera Roll on my iPhone and tried to watch the videos again. But now, they all have a grey icon and it says the duration is 0:00 minutes. When i click on a video, it shows me the following error message:
The requested URL was not found on this server.
When i connect my iPhone to iTunes, it says that there is about 350 MB of "Documents and Data" on my phone that I have no idea where it is coming from. Do you think it is possible that the videos are still saved on my phone but my phone doesn't recognize it as videos and can't assign it to the icons in the Camera Roll? Do you have any tips how I can access the videos in case they are still saved somewhere on my iPhone?

I have the same problem too!! I was deleting some photos and videos in my phone when the next picture I swiped to was a blank picture with JPG in the middle~ after I closed camera roll and reopened it my photos and videos after that picture are all gone~ and I'm left with 3 videos I took about 30 mins before with 0:00 and when I tried to play them the message popped up saying "requested URL cannot be found on this server" T^T does anyone have a solution to this problem?

So i was editing a bunch of videos on iMovie on my phone and while exporting, i didn't have enough space. So I thought that I would delete the videos off my Camera Roll (the ones i'm putting into iMovie) thinking that i would still be able to export and have enough space.
It was the wrong decision because it resulted in having all the videos deleted even on iMovie. So i backed up my files on iTunes 2 days ago (luckily) and when i restored my files, the videos are back.
BUT the videos that were saved from snapchat (they were going into the video i was putting together) wouldn't play! It shows the error "The requested URL was not found on this server".
I looked up everything possible to try and fix it but i just can't find it the correct solution. I accidentally backed it up tonight and so the old back up file is gone. I really want to save these videos. The videos still show up in my Camera Roll, they just wouldn't play because the error shows up.
When i connect my phone to my laptop (PC windows vista... I know its old but it works fine for me) it would show the option "open device files" or something. so when i open it, it shows the DCIM folder. And so i open that it shows all my pictures and videos.
Problem is my snapchat videos show up as 0 bytes and still wouldnt play. I've attacted the error message just so you guys know what i'm talking about.
I'm really sad and upset about this, so can anyone help me??

Problem with Home Sharing. Getting the error "The Requested URL was not Found on this Server"

I recently purchased an iPhone 5. As I do with all of my AppleTVs, iPads, iPods and an iPhone 4 in my home, I connected the 5 to my home network and accessed the shared video library using home sharing. My iTunes library is roughly 85% iTunes purchases, a handful of videos taken with iOS devices, and some video ripped with Handbrake. All of these videos work fine on all devices in my home except my new iPhone 5. When I access the shared video library on my iPhone 5, all of the textual data for all of the videos appears, however, I can only get the iPhone to play 1 video of the dozens in my iTunes library. When I try to play any other, I get the error, "The Requested URL was not Found on this Server."
Interestingly, only one video in my entire shared library displays the artwork associated with it in my iTunes library on my iPhone 5, and that's the one I can stream without a problem. Even more interestingly, that video I am able to stream was ripped using Handbrake (there are a number in my library ripped using Handbrake, but just this one will stream to my iPhone 5 for some reason).
I'm using the latest version of iTunes (10.7) on my home (iMac) computer (running OSX 10.8.2- Mountain Lion)and of course iOS 6 on the iPhone 5. I've tried resetting my iPhone several times as well as restarting my iMac which holds my iTunes library.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

Can you see if you can view index page from a browser on iPhone.
Have you seen live streams working from a different computer...
if not then check if a proper crossdomain.xml file in its place(webroot folder).

Error Code 0x80070035 - The network path was not found, Windows Server 2008 SP2

I have bee receiving following "error code 0x80070035 - The network path was not found" when trying to open file shares in both directions using Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 at both ends. The issue is identical to the KB article KB958285, however the hotfix is only valid up to but not including SP2. One of the servers in question has moved several times between 2 subnets seperated by a VPN. I have tried changing settings in and around the local NIC/DNS Suffix and in the network connection sharing centre, but with no luck. Firewalls are turned off at both sites, and pings and AD queries are successful (one server is a DC). DNS is also working correctly at both sites. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

I thought I would add in another scenario, since this link came to the top of my list in the search engine.
We are running 2008 R2 with SP1 (it happened without SP1 as well)
We could not map using UNC (IP, FQDN, or netbios name). We could ping access the other servers via other utils like event viewer and services.msc but just could not map.
In our case it turned out to be a VMWARE issue but we still had to make a regedit change first
You have to go to regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order\
And add LanmanWorkstation to Providerorder
I found on a Citrix board that citrix has an issue with this as well
If you're running VM here is an additional step you should do as well
When you upgrade VMware Tools installed with HGFS from ESX 3.x to ESX 4.x, the HGFS driver may not get uninstalled properly. In this case, the virtual machine's network Provider Order tab in Network Connections
> Advanced > Advanced Settings displays incorrect information and the virtual machine may lose network connectivity.
To avoid this issue, uninstall VMware Tools 3.x before installing VMware Tools 4.x.
To workaround this issue, if you have already upgraded VMware Tools:
Click Start >
Run, type regedit, and click OK. The Registry Editor window opens.
Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order\.
Delete the reference to
hgfs.
Reboot the virtual machine.
We found that if you strip out the HGFS, you do not have to reboot for the provider order tab to come back
I hope that this saves people a lot of time. I spent days researching this.

Almost every day when I open my computer I get this message:

We then have to go through the process of resetting everything from start to finish just so I can connect to the server. There is no reason that we can find that causes this other than maybe windows updating every night. Any suggestions as to how to
fix this?

it sounds like you have a network drive you are trying to map even though you are not logged in maybe in a script or task instead of backing up to :P backup to the share, make sure you have security set properly to run the task when not logged on.
I assume you are running a backup of some sort as this is the backup forum..

The Network Path was not Found - Server 2008

I am managing a Windows Server 2008. When I go into the Group Policy Management Council and attempt to edit, or add group policy it comes up with an error "Failed to open Group Policy [...] The Network Path was not found." I am new to using Windows Servers and quite confused as to the problem.

This problem may be related to network access. I list some common factors and corresponding troubleshooting steps as below. Please check them one by one and let me know the result.
1> DNS issue
From the problematic PC, please run the following commands and then check if the issue still exists:
1) Can you ping FQDN of the DCs in your networks?
2) Can you ping IP of all the DCs in your networks?
3) Does the DNS configuration point to the correct DNS server?

2) Type nslookup, and then press Enter; Type set type=all, and then press Enter.
3) Type _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.<yourdomainname>, and then press Enter to check the result.
If SRV records could not be resolved successfully, please type 'net stop netlogon' and 'net start netlogon' to regenerate SRV records.
2>. Permission
Ensure you logon DC using the user with domain administrator privilege. If so, please check if you have the proper permission on sysvol files under %systemroot% and inf file under %system root%
3>. PDC is not available.
By default, Group policy object editor connects PDC role to enumerate GP settings. Please
refer to the following article to confirm which DC is PDC role:

After locating the PDC role, please logon it and see if sysvol file under %systemroot%\SYSVOL\ has been properly shared and has the correct structure.

4> We can control which DC is preferable DC that Group policy object editor connects by default via GP, which is User configuration\ administrative template\system\group policy\domain controller selection. Also, please enable it as 'Use any available Domain controller' and run 'gpupdate \force' to test the result.

The problem resolved itself when I resynced the iPod with my computer. I suspect the error displayed when I tried syncing with my laptop and canceled out of it.

I get a "the requested URL was not found on this server" when trying to play a song in my iphone

I have a new iphone5 and after synking my songs and musice. I get a "The requested URL was not found on this server" when I click on a song or a music video. It is almost like itunes did not copy my songs from my account to the new iphone.

I was having the same problems with my movies and tv shows. I unchecked them, then rechecked them, and synced all them again. Presto! They are all working again. Thank you.

When I go to play music videos that I PURCHASED from iTunes I get a pop-up that says "The reuested URL was not found on this server" so I have to go to friggin' iTunes and remove and readd all of my music videos. I bought the ipod (Touvh 4G) about a month ago and the idiots say that it's out of warranty so I have to pay more money to the pirates to get an answer. Download from loop masters says "The requested URL was not found on this server.

I'm downloading some audio files from http://www.loopmasters.com/ but whenever I try, in the download progress in the top right corner of safari, it'll stop downloading and say "The requested URL was not found on this server." There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to where in the download it'll stop. The first time got 37.3% of the way through, the second time got barely 12% (but my computer went to sleep this time,) and the last time it got to 34.8%. I can't do any more attempts because this website will only let me download it five times. Is there anything that's going wrong on my end, perhaps? Or is it likely just their servers being all wonky?
