Unable to creat & Edit contact

I can not creat or edit contact in Thai language.
When I try to do creat or edit.
It will be the same like I push HOME botton.
My device it iPhone 6 PLUS iOS 8.1.2
wichit

I had a similar problem. I was supposed to join a meeting using Skype, but missed it because of Skype problems. I was online and so was the other party, but we could not connect. I got messages about missed calls, but I never got the actual calls. I tried calling them, but that didn't work either. Other contacts were able to reach me, but for some reason this particular contact wasn't.  I tried restarting but that did not help. I'm not sure if the other party restarted Skype, I could ask that next time.

    Hi Preston,
I am trying to create a contact using createItemRequest method.
I am unable to create a contact when i try to set the EmailAddressList's Primary Attribute for the contact. However if i comment the line for setting the Primary Attribute for email addresses, I am able to create the contact.
The following is the XML Trace.

  • Unable to create or edit AD (mail) contacts in address book

    Hi!
I recently imported quite a list of contacts from an old CRM application into Exchange. All entries are nicely created in domain.local\company\location\Contacts. All fields are visible in Outlook under All Address Lists\All Contacts.
As we have a small company, just a few users, I want to give most of them the rights to create and update entries in the All Contacts folder, just as they were used to in the old app.
I started by creating role groups following this article:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/rmilne/archive/2013/08/07/creating-rbac-role-to-delegate-contact-management.aspx
I created an Admin Role group named Contact Administration, which contains the required Members, and I assigned two role groups to this group: Contact_Management, which is based on the Mail Recipient Creation parent group, and Contact_Management_2,
which is based on the Mail Recipient parent group. The Write Scope is: domain.local\company\location\Contacts.
Because this didn't result in anyone being able to update the contacts, I also created a group in Active Directory and delegated control on the contacts OU to this group, even though I think this doesn't add to the desired result (as it indeed didn't).
What am I missing here? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Hi
As per the information and details provided by you, to create or edit a mail contact in address book, please follow these steps: -
Use the Shell to create a contact
This example creates mail contact for Debra Garcia in Exchange Server 2013
New-MailContact -Name "Debra Garcia" -ExternalEmailAddress [email protected] -OrganizationalUnit Users
This example creates a mail contact for Alan Shen in Exchange online.
New-MailContact -Name "Alan Shen" -ExternalEmailAddress [email protected]
    3.     This example mail-enables an existing contact named Karen Toh in Exchange Server 2013.
Enable-MailContact -Identity "Karen Toh" -ExternalEmailAddress [email protected]
    To add a contact: -
You can use the EAC to change selected properties for multiple mail contacts. When you select two or more mail contacts from the contacts lit in the EAC, the properties that can be bulk edited are displayed in the Details pane. When you change one of these properties, the change applies to all selected recipients.
When you bulk edit mail contacts, you can change the following properties areas: -
    ·        Contact Information: - Change shared properties such as street, postal code, and city name.
    ·        Organization: - Change shared properties such as department name, company name, and the manager that the selected mail contact or mail users report to.
I hope this information will be helpful for you.
    Thanks and regards
    Shweta@G

  • Unable to create custom phone labels for new contacts since the upgrade

I have a AT&T iphone 4 version 4.3.1 and since the last couple of recent upgrades I have been unable to create custom phone labels for any new contacts because the lower label options are gone. This is only a problem with new contacts. My existing contacts with custom labels are still there and if I edit those contacts the table that has create custom labels is also still there, but not for new contacts. Has anyone else noticed this problem.

If you read the error above about the hash and manifest, you will se this is a RB Setup error and not a CM12 error. You would be better to post your question in the SQL forum or better yet to use BIDS instead.

  • Problem creating and editing contacts in iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4

Just upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.0.1 and cannot create new contacts starting from my existing contacts list nor can I edit any existing contact. The "edit" icon is not there. Any reason why? Was OK before the "upgrade".

    Exact same problem.
I have tried restoring phone, restarting phone.  Many times....
When I try to sync, a box comes upsaying "iTunes could not sync contacts to the iPhone because thre contacts are in use by the iPhone".  I have NOT got contacts open.  I have closed contacts AGAIN to be sure by double hitting the big button at the bottom, then closing the app by holding it down then cancelling it.
    None of these work.
    Any new ideas??

  • Unable to edit contact

Hi, I'm not able to edit contacts. The edit button is missing. Please help.

  • Mavericks: Unable to edit Contacts

I am using iCloud syncing and able to edit contacts in iOS.
Unable to do any sort of edits on my Contacts and have been unable to find the AddressBook folder to verify file permissions.
What would be the best way to resolve?
    thanks.

First, make sure all of your contacts are in the iCloud web page.
Second, export your contacts to an Contacts Archive using the command in the File menu, Export > Contacts Archive.
If you have ON MY MAC contacts, select them all and File > Export > Export vCard
Close Contacts. If they are in several Groups, export each group individually so you can restore the groups easily.
Uncheck Contacts from iCloud system preferences. Have it delete the contacts on your Mac.
The AddressBook folder is in your user/Library/Application Support folder.
To get there, hold down the Option key and select Library from the Go menu in Finder.
Browse to the AddressBook folder and delete everything in it.
Re-enable Contacts in the iCloud System Preferences.
    Open Contacts and test.
If you need to restore ON MY MAC contacts, recreate all of your groups and go to Contacts Preferences and set the Default Account to ON MY MAC. Then, double-click each group vCard to import them. You'll have a Last Import Smart Group which will contain all the contacts you just imported. Select all and drag them into the original Group.

  • Unable to edit contacts

After updating to iOS4, I am not able to edit the contacts in my iPhone 3GS. The edit button is missing.
However, in messages app, when i am trying to send a message, I am able to get the contacts stored and I am even able to edit them from there.
I have not seen this problem reported by anyone else here. Can someone help me with this?

I was having the same problem - no way to edit contacts but it seems to be resolved now. I have been using gmail set up as an exchange account to sync calendar entries for some time. Yesterday I also enabled contact sync for this account to try to keep my contacts more in sync by using google's push capability.
This afternoon I decided to turn it back off as I decided I don't like the way phone number "types" are mapped in the sync process and installed the "soocial" app for contact syncing and it is working better for me. I synced soocial with gmail and then synced my iphone to soocial which did a reload of all my contacts. This is when the "missing" + and edit buttons problem appeared.
I tried powering down the phone and restarting (which has cured several other unexplained iOS4 glitches) but no change. I tried getting to contacts by launching the contacts app and through the phone and messaging apps but could not find any way to get the edit function back.
Finally in frustration I decided to turn the google sysnc function for contacts back on. When I went beck into contacts and selected the 'All on My iPhone' group my contacts were all there and the edit functions had all reappeared.
I went back to settings and disabled the google contacts again (selecting 'delete google contacts from my phone') and everything still works.
Can't explain why this worked but it did.

    Hi, James.
If you add the main "Learning Administrator" role (UMX|OTA_LRNG_ADMIN), it will include all child roles for the Administrator, including the Learning Content Administrator, Learning Catalog Administrator, Learning Enrollment Administrator, Learning Finance Administrator, Learning Resource Administrator, and Learning Setup Administrator. If you don't have all of these roles, there are functions you will not have access to under the Learning Administrator responsibilities.
The "Learning Instructor - Update" role only allows users that have the Learning Instructor Self-Service responsibility to update enrollment statuses for Learners that have attended classes that they are set as a resource for and won't impact the Administrator functionality.

  • Unable to Load Database/Unable to create database.

RoboHelp 6.0 on my PC is suddenly unable to open existing
projects or create new ones. The problem is not in the projects, as
other people can unzip the same set of files and open them with
    RoboHelp on their PCs.
    The Details:
When attempting to open an existing project (any project
whether in version control or not), I get the message " Open
project was cancelled or the application was unable to load
    database for..."
I found the article that says to delete the CPD and XPJ files
and then to use the Edit option to open the HHP file so that
RoboHelp will recreate the two files. When I try that, I get the
message "Unable to create database. Check that the directory is not
    read-only." It's
    not read-only.
When I attempt to create a new project, the application acts
like it is going to create one, but it just creates a project
folder without the new first topic and then repeats the New Project
Wizard window that prompts for title, etc. It will keep creating
folders and returning to this window in a loop without ever really
    creating a project.
RoboSource Control is functioning normally, by the way.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled RH 6 several times, and
have even uninstalled RH 6 and installed to RH 5 just to see if it
could open projects, which it does with no problems. After that
test, I uninstalled RH 5 and reinstalled RH 6, only to encounter
the same problem all over again.
This started happening after I uninstalled other unrelated
software and received a message that some Service Pack 2 files had
been changed and prompting me to insert the Service Pack 2 CD,
which I don't have. This is because our IT department pre-builds
our systems from an image and then distributes job-specific
applications over the network. IT tried repairing Service Pack 2,
but that didn't work. I'd like to uninstall and reinstall Service
Pack 2, but the IT person says it's too risky on a system that was
    built from an image.
We would like to find out
which files RoboHelp is looking for when it launches a
project so we can replace those files manually. Does anyone
know what they are or have another suggestion that might fix the
    problem?
Otherwise, I am stuck having to allow IT to rebuild my
system. That means reinstalling and reconfiguring everything on it,
just as if I were upgrading to a new PC. This can take a whole work
week. However, I have already spent close to a work week on this
problem, so maybe rebuilding would save time in the long
    run.

    Problem Resolution = HHA.dll
For anyone who might be interested in the resolution to this
issue, we did rebuild my PC and reinstall all of my software. The
RoboHelp installation "complained" that I did not have HTML Help
Workshop on my system and told me to download version 1.4 from
Microsoft. I did have HTML Help Workshop..it's in my programs list.
(It's not listed in programs on my co-workers' PCs, and they were
not having problems, by the way.) But to make RH happy, I
uninstalled the workshop and tried to install the version from
Microsoft. But a message informed me that I already had a newer
version of the workshop on my system, and I was back where I
started. I could open projects, but there were weird problems.
Selecting Topic Properties was met with an error message, and when
the properties window opened, I could only see whatever template
was assigned (or none if the topic had lost its template), and
there was an extra section for Oracle help.
So I started dinking around in the registry to see if I could
get rid of any traces of the workshop so I could install the
version RH wanted or to find any other clues to my problem. Under
HTMLHelpAuthor, there was a reference to an HHA.dll file located in
C:\WINDOWS\system32...only the file did not exist on my system.
(Remember that my original problem was that some Service Pack 2
files were either modified or missing.) So I did a Google search on
that file name and found out that HTML Help Workshop is included in
newer Windows operating systems, but that people used to have to
get HTML Help Workshop from Microsoft, and that some people had
made the mistake of just putting the HHA.dll file into the
C:WINDOWS\system32 folder without also installing HTML Help
Workshop. At this point it was obvious that I needed the HHA.dll,
so I got it from a co-worker's PC. (Looking at the registry
entries, I can also see that my system was built with a slightly
different version of the operating system than my co-workers have.)
Adding the HHA file to my system solved the problem. All
projects but one were fine; one was still exhibiting the strange
behavior. I fixed it by going back to the RoboHelp 5 version of the
project and re-converting it to RoboHelp 6.
I suspect that if I had known about the HHA.dll file before
we rebuilt the PC, I could have solved the problem without going
through that painful process. That is why I thought I should post
the solution even though it was after the rebuild.

  • Unable to create report. Query produced too many results

    Hi All,
Does someone knows how to avoid the message "Unable to create report. Query produced too many results" in Grid Report Type in PerformancePoint 2010. When the mdx query returns large amount of data, this message appears. Is there a way to get all
the large amount in the grid anyway?
I have set the data Source query time-out under Central Administration - Manager Service applications - PerformancePoint Service Application - PerformancePoint Service Application Settings at 3600 seconds.

    Hello,
I would like you to try the following to adjust your readerquotas.
Change the values of the parameters listed below to a larger value. We recommend that you double the value and then run the query to check whether the issue is resolved. To do this, follow these steps:
On the SharePoint 2010 server, open the Web.config file. The file is located in the following folder:
    \Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\Web Services\PpsMonitoringServer\
Locate and change the the below values from 8192 to 16384.
Open the Client.config file. The file is located in the following folder:
    \Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0\WebClients\PpsMonitoringServer\
Locate and change the below values from 8192 to 16384.
After you have made the changes, restart Internet Information Services (IIS) on the SharePoint 2010 server.
    <readerQuotas
    maxStringContentLength="2147483647"
    maxNameTableCharCount="2147483647"
    maxBytesPerRead="2147483647"
    maxArrayLength="2147483647"
                  maxDepth="2147483647"

    Thanks

  • Rep-0118:Unable to create temporary file error in Report Builder

I have installed Report Builder (latest edition) for windows 2000 server, but my users on windows XP cannot create the report it gives them
Rep-0118:Unable to create temporary file error
    Please help me out
    Vijay

You have to change registry settings by going through REGEDIT. Under hkey_local_machine/software/oracle/<oracle home>, look for variable REPORTS_TMP. Change value for this, for example c:\windows\temp or something like that where you want oracle reports to create temp files.

  • Unable to create cluster, hangs on forming cluster

    Hi all,
I am trying to create a 2 node cluster on two x64 Windows Server 2008 Enterprise edition servers. I am running the setup from the failover cluster MMC and it seems to run ok right up to the point where the snap-in says creating cluster. Then it seems to hang on "forming cluster" and a message pops up saying "The operation is taking longer than expected". A counter comes up and when it hits 2 minutes the wizard cancels and another message comes up "Unable to sucessfully cleanup".
The validation runs successfully before I start trying to create the cluster. The hardware involved is a HP EVA 6000, two Dell 2950's
I have included the report generated by the create cluster wizard below and the error from the event log on one of the machines (the error is the same on both machines).
Is there anything I can do to give me a better indication of what is happening, so I can resolve this issue or does anyone have any suggestions for me?
    Thanks in advance.
    Anthony

I tried creating a cluster with just  a single node and this did create a cluster. I could not join the other node and the network name resource did not come online either. The below is from the event logs.

I am having the exact same issue... but these are on freshly created virtual machines... no group policy or anything...
I am 100% unable to create a Virtual Windows server 2012 failover cluster using two virtual fiber channel adapters to connect to the shared storage.
I've tried using GUI and powershell, I've tried adding all available storage, or not adding it, I've tried renaming the server and changing all the IP addresses....
    To reproduce:
    1. Create two identical Server 2012 virtual machines
(My Config: 4 CPU's, 4gb-8gb dynamic memory, 40gb HDD, two network cards (one for private, one for mgmt), two fiber cards to connect one to each vsan.)
    2. Update both VM's to current windows updates
    3. Add Failover Clustering role, Reboot, and try to create cluster.
Cluster passed all validation tests perfectly, but then it gets to "forming cluster" and times out =/
Any assistance would be greatly appreciate.
