Unable to create a BIS account

Hello!
I recently bought a BB 8310 that is unlocked, it works just fine to make calls and send SMS texts, with any SIM card, but every time I want to create an Internet Account on blackberry.orange.es it shows this message "your account have been suspended. Please contact your system administrator". The phone is AT&T, but I never use it before, it's brand new and brought with me to Spain.
Does anybody knows a solution to this?.. Pleasee!!!
Thanks

For any reason your device is not registered with the network try this,
go to menu, options, advanced options, host routing table, press menu again and register now,
after this Log in on your Carrier account and go to setup blackberry mail, and click on the service book
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.
If your issue has been solved, please mark the post was solved.

  • Unable to set up BIS account and company emails

    Hi,
    I have the following story:
I changed carrier last week, until that everything worked fine, my yahoo, google and company emails. I use BIS.
Now, I am not able to setup my company email, but my other emails work ok, m phone is registered. I use these emails since many years and had 3-4 different bb models, having no problem to setup all of them.
So, i tried my new carrier's website to create a new account, I got the following message:
    Cannot create account:
This action cannot be performed using a browser on a computer. Use the email setup application on your BlackBerry® smartphone to create an account.
I called my previous carrier, they say tham my PIN is deleted from their system.
My current carrier (vodafone hungary) says taht everything is fine from their side, it should work. And I have to fix my company email. When I try to set it up, I got the message that the server is not responding.
    Any idea?

Thank you for all of those answers...they help a great deal.
You should talk with your work email admins to see if there's anything special about their system that needs to be accommodated in your configuration. Also, have them review this KB to be sure that they've opened up all that is required for BIS to properly integrate:
KB11036 Firewall and connection requirements for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Further, if the auto-configs do not properly sense what is needed, you may need to use advanced configuration...you select that by intentionally providing your correct email address, but an incorrect password. The next screen that should come up has a check-box for you to say you will provide manual settings...check that and then put into the fields what your email admins tell you is needed. That may perhaps work. It's called advanced integration, and here's the relevant KB:
KB10154 How to integrate a POP or IMAP email account through advanced integration
While rare, it is also possible for some internet-facing email systems to not be able to configure into BIS. However, since you say you had this email account previously working on your BB, this result would not be logical -- unless the email admins changed something on their side.
I am curious about two of your responses though...those you talk about re-registering and creating a new account. One BB PIN can have only one BIS account at any given time (and only on one carrier at a time). So, unless your BIS account were first deleted, you would of course fail to be able to create a new one.
It is also possible that perhaps you indeed are not providing the proper credentials when you configure...if there is a combination of numbers and symbols in your credentials, then you need to be especially careful when entering those, especially via the device interface. For instance, if your password is
    ab123
    and you enter
    a > b > ALT > 1 > 2 > 3
    the actual result will be
    ab1er
    You must enter
    a > b > ALT > 1 > ALT > 2 > ALT > 3
in order to wind up with ab123. So, in this example, while on the BB keyboard you think you are typing ab123, you are actually typing ab1er.
You may also need to take that risk of having a Vodafone rep attempt configuring this into your account for you.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Unable to create a caldav account on iPhone 3G

Hello and thank you for looking at my problem and for any advice you may have.
I have a client that is trying to connect to his office Calendar server with his iPhone 3G running iOS 4.3.3 (not jb). The server is an XServe running 10.5.8 Server. The phone is connecting to it via the office LAN.
I was able to set up this phone for the user's personal calendar on the office server with no problem, it works fine. There is an office wide calendar that he also wants to be able to use on the phone. When I try to create the account, I enter the server address, account information, etc and click Next, it tells me that SSL is not available (correct) do I want to continue, I tell it to continue and then BOOM the Settings app closes and I am back on the Desktop. Entering Settings again I find that the account has not been created.
Now here is where it gets weird. If I go to the personal calendar account and change it's settings to use the office wide calendar settings, I am able to save this and work with the calendar without issue. If I then try to create another calendar account using his personal settings, account creation fails in the same manner as described above.
Is there a limit to the number of caldav accounts in this version of iOS? I have set up other phones (iPhone 4 running 6.0.1 and iPhone 5s running 6.0) and they all have worked fine.
Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Unable to create a mobile account on Macbook

We have a Macbook where during the first login they chose not to create a mobile account with this particular login ID (active directory).
Now we need to allow this user to have a mobile account on the Macbook but when we try it will not create a home folder etc.
If we login with a different user it works just fine.
I notice it does not show the user in the accounts-preferences only when logged in with that ID. It also comes up with network, managed vs. managed, mobile.
Anybody have any ideas? Is there a way to remove the user ID so we can start over to create a mobile account.
I did try to create a mobile account using the preferences but it did not work. It still fails and is coming up with the "The home folder is not located etc etc" message.
    Thanks

    Update:
I finally found a work around in the forums. The command I used was this:
    sudo
    /System/Library/CoreServices/ManagedClient.app/Contents/Resources/createmobileac count
    -n userid -v

  • Unable to create a sync account

I can't create a Sync account. I have never had one and am trying to set one up so that I may sync my firefox with my android. I have followed the instructions to set one up but when I push the finish button, I don't get a window that says setup complete. I have tried several times.

    You're welcome
    Did you find the cause?
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
*Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
    * Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

  • Unable to Create an iTunes account (free usage or otherwise) (iPhone 3GS)

So my father and I just bought our selves iPhones to stay in touch (today is the 24th... well now 25th). I recently wanted to try to get foursquare, skype, and a few other free apps so I decided to try making me an iTunes account. We tried 3 different credit cards to try and make one but they all came back with the same issue "your credit card was declined please try another pay method."
Jump to 2 hours ago I've been trying constantly to make a Free app account, the type where you go to the store, click a free app, apply for an account and say "none." When asked for credit card information, which then allows you to download free apps only. Well using this method I get the EXACT same responce "your credit card was declined please try another pay method."
Is there currently some issue going on with the iTunes store right now?
I should note I've tried making an account through both the iPhone and my PC.

I don't know what "something" you were trying to redeem, but if it was a valid iTunes Store give, go to the main iTunes Store page (within iTunes), click on the "Redeem" link on the right side of the page, and enter in the code from your card. You'll be able to create an iTunes Store account without needing a credit card.

  • I have books I wish to load to an iBookstore Free Account. I am unable to create such an account because Apple's sign-up requires details of a credit or debit card even though my Apple ID specifies NO card. Wake up Apple, or authors will be off to Google

I have books which I wish to load to a free account on iBookstore. I am unable to do so because the sign-up process keeps demanding details of a credit or debit card. I am neither selling anything nor buying anything, and my Apple ID works fine with NO credit or debit card details (you just specify NONE).
I think Apple had better wake up and wake up quickly, otherwise their 'control freak' attitude is going to lead to authors going to Google - and I will be one of them! Let Apple find a way around this, I have wasted too much time already messing about with their system.

The best place to convey your thoughts to Apple is via
    http://www.apple.com/feedback
In meantime, use an Aggregator or another store.  Apple has not had any problem attracting books during the last 3 years and it seems unlikely their policy on this will change to accomodate you.  But there is always hope...

  • Unable to create game center account.  Keeps prompting for location and birthdate

Whenever I try to create a game center account, it loops always asking for location and birthdate.  The phone says the Apple ID has not yet been used in Game Center, tap continue to setup your account, then it prompt for location and birthdate again.  Any ideas how to get account setup?

I'm gettng this same message.  I have been using the same Apple ID for all my iOS device, but I ended up creating a new Apple ID for my wife's iPhone.  After I verified the new Apple ID, I logged out of Game Center, and entered my newly created Apple ID.  Now I'm stuck in the same loop as you.  Were you able to get out of it?

  • BIS Account Suspended/Deactivated

    Hi,
I just bought a 2nd hand Blackberry Bold (2months old), and I was trying to create a BIS account.
A message pops up saying that the account has been suspended or deactivated. However, when I call my teleco (Singtel in Singapore), they say they are unable to detect the phone on their blackberry server.
    Please advise.
    Thank you,
    Kyle

I see you said that in the initial post, I wasn't sure you mean account or PIN. Thanks for the clairication.
Well--still could be a problem in that if the previous user left their account in arrears or unpaid, that is likely the reason it is deactivated or suspended.
I don't understand this though -- IF you are creating a NEW BIS account, how is it that it is already deactivated or suspended. Carriers might do that unpaid or accounts in arrears.
But I thought you are just now creating this account?

  • Unable to create an eprint acount

Iam unable to create an email account.  I go to sign in and it says I don't have an account.
Then I go to create an account and it says I already have one. My model # is hp deskjet 3070A.
I have tried many times to create an eprint account , with the same results. I tried to sign on to snapfish and
it will not allow me to, so I did not create a snapfish account instead of an eprint account. I've tried using my printer code to no avail also!!!
This seems to be a problem with other accounts users, what's the fix?

    HI there modupefemi welcome to the HP forums;
Can you try this to see if you have an old shapfish accout.
Normally when someone has this issue, they have an existing Snapfish HP account.
    1. Go to www.snapfish.com and click on "log in" at the top right.
    2. On the splash screen that comes up click on the "forgot your password"  link and submit your email.
    3. You should receive an email with a link and a temporary password.
    4. Click on the link and log in with the temp password.
    5. Change your password to something that has at least 6 characters (at least 1 of those should be a number).
    6. Go back to www.eprintcenter.com and click on Sign In.
    7. On the next screen do not put your email or password, but click on the
    small Snapfish below.
    8. On the splash screen that comes up log in with your email and the password  you just created at Snapfish.
This will merge your HP accounts and you should be able to log in to www.eprintcenter.com normally after that.
let me know if you still having this issue I will do my best to help you.
    Hope this helps!

  • Cannot set up BIS account without "email accounts" icon!

    Hi everyone,
I have had a Blackberry Curve 9300 for about a year now and haven't bothered with getting emails set up, but now I really need to.  I know that you have to create a BIS account, but I'm using Bell and the only way on their website it says to do that is by going through the BB "Email Account" setting. However, my icon has completely dissapeared. I have tried doing "Show All" but that doesn't work. It's just gone. Someone said I need to download Service Book from BIS BUT I don't yet have a BIS account... so i can't do that. Hitting a bit of a wall here. Any ideas?
    Thanks so much,
    Kelsey

I really can't tell you much else without asking a ton of questions.
Honestly, best (and fastest) thing for you right now is to call Bell customer service.
And remember, a data plan is not necessarily a BlackBerry data plan. Must be BB-specific, aka BIS.
For whatever reason, you don't seem to be on it now.
If you want to troubleshoot a bit first, you can try the suggestions I just gave to another poster first:
