Unable to create a First level menus for OAF pages:urgent

Hi All,
I am facing the problemin creating the first level menus in the Oracle app. following are the steps that i followed:
Step 1)Created HTML Tab Menu with following properties:-
Menu=XXWRP_PRT_SEARCH_TAB
User Menu Name =XXWRP PRT APPLICATION Search Tab
Menu Type=HTML Tab
Function=OA Framework ToolBox Sample Browser
Step 2)Created HTML Tab Menu with following properties:-
Menu=XXWRP_PRT_GOODS_TAB
User Menu Name =XXWRP PRT APPLICATION Goods Tab
Menu Type=HTML Tab
Function=OA Framework ToolBox Supplier Search
Step 3)Created Home Page Menu with following properties:-
Menu=XXWRP_PRT_APP_HOME_PAGE
User Menu Name=XXWRP PRT APP HOME PAGE
Menu Type=Home Page
and having following entries:-
prompt=Search, Submenu=XXWRP PRT APPLICATION Search Tab
prompt=Goods,Submenu=XXWRP PRT APPLICATION Goods Tab
Step 4)Created Another Home Page Menu with following properties:-
Menu=XXWRP_ PRT_NAVIGATION
User Menu Name=XXWRP PRT NAVIGATION
Menu Type=Home Page
and having following entries:-
prompt=Search, function=OA Framework ToolBox Sample Browser
prompt=Goods,function=OA Framework ToolBox Supplier Search
Stpe 5) Created Standard Home page menu with following properties:-
Menu=XXWRP_PRT_APLLICATION.
User Menu Name=XXWRP PRT Application
Menu Type=Standard.
and having following detail entries:-
Submenu=XXWRP PRT NAVIGATION
submenu=XXWRP PRT APP HOME PAGE.
Step 6)
Created a responsibility with Available Form=Oracle Self service web Application
and with menu=XXWRP PRT Application
Step 7)
And after that i assigned the above created responsibility to the login user.,
But i am unable to get the tabs. Where I am commiting a mistake,i cann't undertand.Plz help..........

Try to compare the menu that you have created with Functional Administartor menu structure. It may help to debug your problem.

Under "Basic" in the "Printer Settings" of the Print menu, the dropdown menus for both "Page Setup: Sheet" and "Media Type" are frozen.

Frozen selections: I'm working from my Intel iMac trying to print (from both Aperture and Photoshop CS5) to my new Epson 4900 printer. When the Print menu comes up, under the "Basic" section of the "Printer Settings" the dropdown menus for both "Page Setup" and "Media Type" won't activate. All other options and selections work fine. Just these 2 are not functioning. What's up with that??

Here we are 15 months later and Microsoft Excel 2013 has the SAME ERROR
If one chooses:
Print Preview
Page Setup
Sheet
Then the print area and print titles (Rows to repeat at top, columns to repeat at top)
are all grayed out and cannot be selected.
If, however, I choose the
page layout bar and click print titles then
everything works fine.

Unable to create a first Domain in JDI CMS system

Hello All,
I have installed JDI and configured SLD and everything seems to be working properly. However, when I go into the CMS service (http://localhost:devinf) and try to create a domain it tells me I am creatinga customer domain and will not be able to transport out of it (OK, Fine), I click save and get a message that says only "unable to process request, please see system administrator".
I have one host serving as the SLD and name server. I am running a J2ee add in system with ABAP as persitence layer. My SLD is set to use Database as persistence layer. I tried changing it to ABAP and trying again but that did not fix it. I have created all users according to plan (CMSadm) and given him all the rights therein.
I have configred the name server in DTR as well, still no luck, still get the message when trying to create a domain in CMS for the first time.
Anyone else seen this or have any ideas?

Actually this is not the right place for your question,please look in to Java Development infrastructure Forum.However i will answer your query.
System admin has to create domain(Three letter word)
if you check this url http://<server>:port/devinf as you mentioned you will get DTR,CBS and CMS.With cmsadm user you can create track before that you have to creta Software component.

Create organis'l level field for auth. field that occurs in multiple object

When trying out PFCG_ORGFIELD_CREATE I ran into a problem:
I want to have an organisational level field for BEGRU in C_STUE_BER (Auth.grp in BOM-header);
there are other auth.objects that also have a field called BEGRU (eg M_MATE_MAR, M_MATE_MAT, F_BKKA_BPG);
we have roles that have several of these objects.
Running PFCG_ORGFIELD_CREATE leads to problems in those roles that have several of the objects with a field BEGRU. In general the values to be assigned to BEGRU in different objects is not the same.
The only solution i can think of is to have per role only one object with field BEGRU.
This would mean a serious redesign of our roles :-(.
Is there another option?

Another option is to create transactions for the BEGRU and maintain SU24 for them.
But that is not scalable for large BEGRU values and has an implication for menus and number of transactions, in addition to the number of roles...
But BEGRU fields should be used with caution, as the objects which use them are mostly not intended to be scalable (like P_PERNR is scalable....) so Su24 or well documentented "Maintained" authorizations might be an option to switch to.

Is there a way to have a wiki on osx server where users can be created at first logon? (for a semi-public wiki)

Hello,
I am installing an osx server that will be primarly used as a wiki for collaboration.
Problem: there will be many users from various organisations -> creating users manually on the server is not an option.
Is there a way to have a page/something where users will login and the account will be created at first logon? (after being approved if possible).
I'd want my users to go to the wiki and do something like click a "new user" or "create account" button then fill a form. The account in th directory would be then auto magically created.
Does this feature already exist for osx server with the built-in wiki?

Just generate the TTS on a separate slide and then assign the audio file created in the LIbrary to whatever object you need.

Unable to create a PivotChart in PowerPivot for Excel 2010

I am unable to create a PivotChart from the PowerPivot window. It does not create a Chart# sheet nor does it appear as a PivotChart on the PivotTable worksheet in Excel. There is not even a PivotChart grid and Field List to create the PivotChart from.

Unable to create the portable home directory for this user

This is driving me nuts!
I have a network user who I can login to on any machine on the network. I want a PHD to be created on a laptop and eveytime I answer 'yes' to 'create PHD for this user' I get the "unable to create the PHD for this user" message.
What am I doing wrong?

I fixed this by unbinding the laptop from the od server as I had used this user previously for PHD's on this machine. Setting up the machine to bind to OD again and all is well.

Unable to create wage types in It0015 for Zambia

Hi Friends,
I want to create Wage types in IT0015 - Additional Payments for Zambia. But I am unable to find any model wage types which can be copied to create the custome wage type for country grouping ZM - Zambia.
I also tried to copy the wage typse by using the functionality "copy between country groupings" but I am unable to find Zambia in the country groupings drop down list.
Can someone pls help asap. Its an urgent client requirement.

Thanks to all of you for trying to solve my problem but at last the solution was very easy which I could find myself.
There is a custome table T500L_CUST in which I can configure Zambia country grouping and accordingly create a wage type catalog for Zambia by copying the wage types from other countries 99 or in that matter any country.
Let me know if anyone has any doubt in this.

I went through the doc. I understand we need to PERSONALIZE to translate the columns into different languages. But my question her is , do we need to personalize always to translate ? Because, I'm not required to personalize anything on the page. Is there any other approach to translate the columns without personalize the regions ?
Also, Do we need to export the personalizations at each REGION Level and then import into MDS ? Can't we do at a PAGE Level ? I'm new to the MLS Personalizations.

Forms and OAF pages belong to different techstack and therefore there are many technical differences in the two. Here you can view the vo query using about this page or use diagnostics mode to see existing logs of OAF pages.

if you use oracle connection u can make it easy and use the oracle's functions like
CALENDAR.MY_DATE BETWEEN @Prompt('ENTER DATE','D',,MONO,FREE) AND LAST_DAY(CALENDAR.MY_DATE)
if u dont use oracle as a target database connection u can either look for the similar function in ur DBMS for "LAST_DAY" ,, i think its available for any DBMS
