Unable to create Business Partner in CRM

Hi I am unable to Create a Business Partner (BP)in CRM though I could see that the INBOUND IDOC ( Msg type : CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M ) is getting posted.I created the IDOC through the test transaction (we19).Also i dont have any data to give in the field PARTNER_GUID without which the IDOC was failing.So i took an existing value from the table BUT000 and used it and it posted successfully but still the BP is not getting created in the system.Request you to pls suggest a solution..

You dont have to populate BP IDOC with partner guid.System generates partner GUID whenever BP is created.
Try to create a BP without populating guid.

Hello!
In the WebUI there are different Business Partner Types (Person, Organization, Group).
From user perspective you can differentiate between:
- Corporate Account (Organization)
- Individual Account (Person)
- Group Account (Group)
- Employee (Person)
- Contact Person (Relationship) (Person)
All these Business Partner have an own Overview-Page. Usually you can create the Business Partner starting from the related Search-Result-List (by default the new-button is not available for Employees as a Sales Rep usually doesnu2019t create new Employees u2026).
You can assign Business Partner Roles to these Business Partners (there is an own Assignment-Block within every Overview-Page of a Business Partner). Some roles will also get assigned automatically, if you create this Business Partner.
However it is possible to assign multiple roles to the Business Partner. Itu2019s also possible to have different Views of one Business Partner. E. g. an Individual Account can also be a Contact Person for another Account. But here it is not the Role determining the View it is the Contact Person Relationship doing this.
The Role itself also has an impact on the UI of the Business Partner as dependent on the Roles some Assignment-Blocks are displayed or not.

Unable to create Business Partner - Organization and Group

I am learning SAP CRM, I am working on version 5.0. I am not able to create BP in Org and Group, but I am able to create the person. I made few changes in BP role, since then I am not able to create BP in Org and Group...these both are deactivated...

Check the roles that are not hidden.
Are the categories Org and Group assigned to them?
To do so, the path is IMG>Cross-Application Components> SAP Business Partner--> Business Partner > Basic Settings> Business Partner Roles-->Define BP Roles
Here choose the option BP Role categories, now double click on the role you will see if it is permitted with the categories Org and Group.
Incase you done have the Org or Group checked for your visible BP Roles, it will not permit to create Orgs and Groups. Check Org or Group category and you should be able to create BPs in these categories.

Unable to create Business Partner

Hi friends,
I am trying to create a 'Person' using the tcode BP. But i get an error saying "Application Object BUPA: Table BCS002 does not exist".
The table BCS002 exists when I checked through SE11 tcode.
Moreover I am to create using BP tcode in another client in the same server.
Can anyone help in this regards,

Problem is sloved....It was not related to Authorization...The missing table entry was to be maintained in table V_TBZ1C using SM30 tcode (In my case)

Dear Folks ,
Scenario is to Create or update Business partner in CRM from thirdparty system via PI
It would be great if you could clarify the following
Hope we have BAPI to create and Update Business partner in CRM system but my question is
1. Can we use any predelivered PI content - Message Interfaces - as proxies ( Server proxies ) to create BP from system ?
2. Same interface will work for Update as well ?
IF so what is that content ? where to find for our PI System ?
3. Can we use the same way for Client proxies as well when we want to update the business partner ?
4. What are the inbound and outbound Message Interfaces are available ?

I think that i am not described my question properly , Say i have CRM system where i have to create BP for this input comes from external system (forget about the system ) , Here i want to use Proxy (Server proxy ) which helps me create Business partner in CRM system .
Here my question is If sap delivers the Inbound interface ( where server proxy already generated by SAP) , which i will use to create BP ?
Can we do in this way ?

Creating a Business Partner in CRM 5.0

When I'm tryin to create business partner of type person in CRM 5.0, i'm getting following error
"Run report CRM_MKTBP_ZCACL_UPDATE_30 first"
what is this report for?
What are steps and/or configurations needs to be there before creatign business partners?
I would appreciate if anyone help me setting up any org structures needed.

Hi Deepesh,
This reports enables you to maintain the marketing attributes. If you run this report without test mode you will be able to maintain the marketing attribute of your BPs again.
This report is required if you implemented a new SP or you have installed a new CRM.

ERROR IN CREATING BUSINESS PARTNER ON DOING IT 2ND TIME - SAURAV LAHIRY

                     I a currently using a custoM tcode zib52 to create a business partner in CRM. My problem is that on creating the first time the Busness partner it is getting created. But on pressing it in the change mode and then clicking the create patient button it is giving a short dump. I am using FM BUP_PARTNER_MAINTAIN where i am giving '01' for create.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Recently SAP has upgraded support packs and becuse of this dump is occuring. Piece of extra code has got added in existng code. We can not chage / comment that cde as the probe is in Zt-cde. But even if it is custm transaction, any standard includes havebeen used. And in sme of those include, that piece of code has got added.
Steps - First time business partner is getting created successfully. but when we save it, go back and cick on create business partner than it is going into short dump.
i had debug the code and found that GUID number is not getting cleared i second time.
can you please tell me how to clear GUID number? is there any FM / methods? Aso can you tell me hw to refresh/ clear global memory for FM BUP_PARTNER_MAINTAIN?

Dump Error while creating Business Partner in FPP1

Dear Experts,
I am using the EHP5 IS-U component. I am getting the below dump error, when I am trying to create Business partner in T.Code: FPP1.
**Error in the ABAP Application Program**
**The current ABAP program "ISU_BUPA_EVENT_DINP1==========FT" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.**
**The following syntax error occurred in program "SAPLES02 " in include "LES02U14 " in line 30:**
**"The data object "BUS0DIINIT" does not have a component called "MUSTER_KUN".**
I have searched SAP notes, but I am unable to find any suitable notes to resolve this issue.
Could anyone help me to resolve this issue.

Please don't go adding fields. Aren't we talking about SAP-standard structures here?
Have you actually checked (in transaction SE11) that the structure ISU_EKUNINIT is included in the BUS0DIINIT?
If it is, and the field MUSTER_KUN is missing, then you should raise an OSS note.
If the structure is not included, you should also talk to OSS. Your ISU installation might be incomplete?

You can use 'BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA' to create BP's in CRM .

Sorry for the silly question , How assign the value ( EV_GUID_16 ) to the Business partner .
Alos there is other FM that I couldnt remember , we just need to give the BP number . By executing the FM , it will create the available BP GUID by default .

To Get the list of sales orders for a Business partner in CRM.

Is there any Function module or BAPI to get the Sales orders for a Business partner in CRM. I know there is a BAPI to get the list of sales orders for a customer in ECC, but I donu2019t know how to get the list of sales orders for a Business Partner in CRM.
Can anybody tell me if there is an inbuilt function module or BAPI available?
If not how can I pick the sales orders of a business partner in CRM? Between which tables should I apply a join and write SELECT statement to get list of sales orders for a business partner in CRM.

Try CRM function module CRM_BUPA_READ_ORDER_OBJECTS.
You'll get a table with the documents associated to that partner, where you can work on.

Error while Creating Business partner in FPP1

Hi,
I can't create Business partner in standard T.code FPP1 in Test System and getting the following error
"Application object BUPA: Table EBUPD does not exist".

Please add the message class and message number - in this case R1 149 - next time you post a problem.
There's probably an issue with your setup with for the Business Partner Screen Layout (area menu BUPT).
The error is raised, because the EBUPD is not a table assiciated with the Business Parter (Application object BUPA). See transaction BUSG or table TBZ1H. It is in fact a dynpro structure.
Now there's a table that links the dynpro structure fields to the db table fields, which should translate the structure EBUPD into table EKUN fields: TBZ1C. Technically, this is done in function BUS_DYNFLD_TO_DBFLD_CONVERT and it returns the dynpro structure instead of the DB table if there's no corresponding entry in TBZ1C.
So please check if you can find following entry in TBZ1C (client dependent):
OBJAP DYNPTABNM DYNPFLDNM DBTABNM DBFLDNM
BUPA EBUPD + EKUN +
Or via transaction BUSP - Screen field --> Database Field
If the entry is missing I suggest you add it.

Geocode Error while creating Business Partner in Audit Management

Hi All,
When I try to create business partner in PLMD_AUDIT and assign it to various partner roles like Auditor, Responsible person etc. I am getting error as " Geocoder SAP0: Country specification is (Customizing) " What should be done to avoid this error?
Found details in spro:
For "SAP0 Geocoder" there is no function module and destination assigned, Is it the cause of error? If it is the case then what should be assigned and Let me know the standard function module.

SLG1 error while creating Business Partner

Im currently working on SRM 7.0 and keep receiving the following errors in SLG1. Can you kindly advise what might be the root cause for the below errors so ican fix the issue and ensure the same error doesnt pop up going further?

Resolution for Isuue 1:
SAP Web Application Server -> General Settings -> Set Countries -> Insert Regions or Define Country Codes
Region for country DE is not maintained in SPRO or bad data.
Resolution for Issue 2:
SAP Web Application Server - Application Server - Basis Services - Address Management - Maintain Transport Zones
Maintain the transport zones in SRM.
Resolution for Issue 3:
email address should be a valid address. SRM checks the format e.g. xx @ yy . zzz
I believe error could be due to incorrect data.
