Unable to create confirmation

Hi,
This is in SRM 7.0 with PPS swtiched on.
I am currently unable to create confirmations or invoices for a SC or PO. This was working fine until PPS was switched on.
I saw that in the PO the indicators for follow-on documents are selected properly but when I select the PO to create a confirmation, the "Create Confirmation" button is greyed out.
Is there any additional changes I need to do for SSP currently (in addition to the normal config) since PPS is switched on now?
Thanks & Regards
Saravanan Sadasivan.

HI, Saravanan Sadasivan:
The SRM PPS scenario does not support the function (confirmation  or invoice ),the following like supports my opinion :
"PPS procurement documents are created in SAP SRM, and financial processes, such as goods receipt (GR) and invoice receipt (IR), occur in SAP ERP. "

  • Unable to create confirmation/invoice in SRM,Classic Scenario

    Hi Guru's,
I am unable to create Confirmation/Invoice in the Portal, attached the screen shot of the error
its is the problem with the ADRC table, there is no entry in the table for the BP.
I tried to access the table via SM30 to add the entry in ADRC manually, I get a message table maintenance not defined
    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi Kiran,
Could you please also advise whether all the users are not able to create the confirmation in portal. Or if there is any specific user who is not able to do that?
And I also request you to advise whether you going to do the invoice in SRM portal in classic scenario?

  • Unable to create Confirmations using Portal

    Hi All,
When we are trying to create a Confirmation and trying to search for a particular PO the following error message is being shown
"No documents correspond to search criteria"
But all the POs the created in the backend.
    Can anyone give a solution.
    Regards,
    Rahul.

Check if you have enough auth. If you are using SRM, run BBP_GET_STATUS_2 once for the relevant SC and then try. Make sure the PO is open in backend.

1 .please open and clear all extended search whatever it may be
    2. make ensure that PO - no more in approval process.
    3. still if you have problem PO might be held in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB tab.
    4. run the clean /status job for respective docuement.

  • Disk Utility "Unable to create" Disk Image "error -39"

I am trying to create a disk image using Disk Utility of my wife's user area for backup. Everytime I try, I get the same result. Disk Utility spends several hours creating the archive, then at the very end it generates an error message and terminates the process. The error message is always "unable to create "user" - error -39".
The problem follows her data and not her computer. I backed up her user to an external drive and did the image creation on another computer. Same result.
When I do the same on my computer, the process completes fine.
What problem is Disk Utility having? Where can I find the meaning of Disk Utilitility's -39 error?
    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

I am still experimenting. To narrow the problem, I decided to create individual disk images of the folders in the User folder. The first one I tried was 7 GB and worked fine. Overnight, I tried one that is 13 GB. It failed with an out of room message on the startup disk! The startup disk has 17 GB free. Nothing should have been written to the startup disk!
This time, I configured Disk Utility to read from the startup disk and write to an external disk. The destination disk had more than enough space. But, I ran out of space on the source. It appears that Disk Utility is writing all or a portion of the compressed file to either the startup or the source disk and running out of room.
Previously, when I created the image of my user folder (instead of my wife's), the source was my user folder on the startup disk and the destinaion for the image was on an external disk. The difference I see is that my startup disk has enough free space for the entire compressed image file.
In my first attempt that gave me the -39, both the source and the destination disks were external. So maybe Disk Utility is creating the image on the source and at the end copying it to the destination. This would explain the difference in the error messages.
I'll try to confirm all of this in the next few days and report my findings.

  • Unable To Create and/or Rename Folders on DFS Shares

    Hi
We have a Windows 2008 Storage Server that we use as a data server. About 100 folders are shared on our network and we use DFS to collect these shares into manageable shared units.
The network comprises 35 Windows 7 clients and one Vista client and a couple of XP machines. These are on a Windows Active Directory that presently comprises three domain controllers: 2003, 2008 and 2012 R2. The network comprises just one site and one subnet.
This setup has worked fine for many years (we've had an Active Directory domain since 2001).
As soon as I replaced our Windows XP clients with the Windows 7 clients I have been seeing some strange network issues.
The most bizarre, and the most unwelcome is that when staff try to create new folders or rename existing ones they will sometimes not be allowed to. The problem is intermittent and I have no idea what may be causing it.
The folder rename issue was encountered when we still used XP but I fixed that by disabling the caching of thumbnails. The error message that appears states the folder is in use. I have used Computer Management on the storage server and looked at Shared
Folders > Open Files and have determined that no files were open when this issue occurred.
When staff are unable to create a new folder they see the following message:
I have tried various things to troubleshoot this with the help of a TechNet Community Support person in the Windows 7 forums
    here.
To summarise we have tried using Process Monitor to capture the events and I am quite happy to upload this if anyone would like to see it.
We tried the registry edits detailed in
    this MS article.
I have created a dedicated firewall rule that allows all traffic on TCP ports 137, 138, 139 and 445.
Another respondent suggested checking out Slow-Link mode but this has not been triggered.
Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this, please? The network worked like a dream before the Windows 7 clients were introduced, when XP was used.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
As you just upgarded to Windows 7, please make sure SP1 is also installed on all systems and install the following hotfix rollup for Windows 7 SP1:
An enterprise hotfix rollup is available for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2775511/en-us
There was a known issue on Windows 7 which affected shared folders, that newly created or deleted files are not reflect in network folder immediately, which seems similar to your error. If issue still exists after SP1 and hotfix rollup please help confirm:
    1. If this issue occurs only on DFS folder in accessing with \\domain.com\namespace. Could you reproduce the same issue in accessing \\server\sharefolder?
    2. Will the same issue occurs after disabling Offline Files if it is enabled.
If you have any feedback on our support, please send to [email protected]

The above mentioned is coming several times , anybody please help out to get rid of this issue.
    Thanks in advance ,
    Krikar.

This only tells you that the JVM is running out of heap space. It doesn't tell you what is causing the problem. You likely have a memory leak, but you could also try increasing the max heap size of the JVM (-Xmx command line option). It would help to watch the % mem in use statistic, but only immediately after a garbage collection cycle (you can force a GC from the admin console). If the % mem in use after the GC is increasing over time, then that likely confirms you have a memory leak. Note that looking at that statistic during the server startup probably is irrelevant. You'd need to wait until the server finishes starting up, and likely processed a few messages (to load static data).
If you get to the point of confirming that you have a memory leak, that requires doing detailed analysis with a Java profiler (JProfiler, JProbe, YourKit, etc.) to track down the source of the leak.

  • Unable to create SC since commitment already exist for IO

    Hi SAP Guru
    SRM 5.0 / Extended Classic  Scenario / CCM2.0
    1) User has created one shopping Cart  with two line items
    2) Distributed the First Line item to two quantities with different account assignment of internal orders :-
    Quantity 46,090 to IO 20003620
    Quantity 2811 to  IO 20003585
User has created the credit memo for Quantity 2811 and cancelled the confirmation for this quantity too.
But still he is saying that seeing the commitment for quantity 2811 in internal order 20003585 and because of that unable to create another SC using this internal order.

What i observe in all the cases, there are no more than 1000 threads getting created . After completion of 1000 threads garbage collector keeps running and no more threads get created. Since i have configured heapsize to be 512m, PermGenSpace to be 256 and default value for process sapece is 2gb, JVM would be able to create only 1000 threads as per the formula "NoOfThreads = Process space - (Heap + permGen+some for VM initialization)/Stack Size" (correct me if i am wrong). But why i am not getting OutOfMemoryError while creating native thread. Moreover i can observer non-heap (Perm Gen) space keep growing overtime. But there is enough space in all other spaces. So my doubts are
    1. Actually when we will get OOM error saying unable to create Native thread. To be more specific when which space occupied i will get this error.

  • "Crystal Report Viewer is unable to create its resource objects"

I'm using Crystal Reports Server XI and getting the error/pop up box: "Crystal Report Viewer is unable to create its resource objects" when trying to view a report through the website.
Any suggestions would be appreiciated. I'm very unfamiliar with Crystal Reports but it's fallen into my lap to install and suppor this application.
I have tried changing some browser settings to allow ActiveX content and such but that hasn't seemed to help. I also tried downloading a particular 3 .dll's files to my desktop and registering them, as well as re-registering them on the server. They were CRVIEWER.dll, swebrs.dll, sviewhlp.dll.
I'm using IE 7.0 and CR Server XI is installed in a Windows 2003 R2 SE server.  IIS seems to be setup OK.  I haven't changed any of the default installation settings that were configured during the installation on the virtual directory that was created.  I received no errors during the installation.  I'm also not seeing anything obvious pop up in the event logs.  I still have yet to do a log parser query looking for anything that says crystal reports.
    Thanks!

    Hi Wendy,
This issue might be better addressed by our .NET development forum,  however,  some of the things that come to mind are:
    1.  As a test are you able download the Active X Viewer from the client machine by accessing it via a URL:
    http:// <yourserver>/crystalreportviewers/ActiveXControls/ActiveXViewer.cab
Does it prompt you do download the .CAB file?
    2.  If you have more than one version of the Active X Viewer installed on the client machine,  go through this SAP Note (1215398) from the Service Market Place to remove it.
    3.  Check your browser settings (Tools|Security|Custom Level) to make sure Active Controls are set to at least prompt.
    4.  Confirm with your network administrator if there are group policies that restrict the installation of Active X Controls or if users do not have the rights to install.
    Regards,
    Wallie

My Firefox sync was working fine, until my Firefox for Android, started acting up, and I had to reinstall it. When I tried to set up sync again, it asked for a recovery key, which I didn't have (I know, I'm sorry). Getting the data is not a big deal for me, as my desktop Firefox is still alive and well, so this is where I didn my big mistake. I deleted my sync account. Now I am unable to create a new sync account using that email address, as Sync says, Account already in use. I have deleted it and confirmed in the web portal where it says username/email was not recognised. Please help. I need to set this up. I am reluctant to use a different email account, as all my details are tied in with this one, and I have been using this forever.
    Firefox Version: 17
Firefox for Android Version: I don't know, but the latest one, as of 28/11

That's the problem. I have deleted the account and hence am not able to access it anymore. I tried resetting and it says account does not exist. But when I try to create a new sync account it says account already exists. All I want is to be able to create a new sync account using the same email

  • Mac OS X : ORA-09925: Unable to create audit trail file

I have followed the instuctions on Oracle's site:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/macos/index.html
specifically the Blog pages by Sergio and Anthony and have encountered a couple problems:
    1) I got this error when running the db config assitant (dbca) as per Anthony's steps:
ORA-09925: Unable to create audit trail file
I was running this from a shell while logged onto the gui as my admin id (mtaylor) then running
    sudo -u oracle sh
then running the ./bash_profile commands, altho I had to
    cd /Users/oracle
    cat .bash_profile
and then copy and paste the commands since running
    ./.bash_profile
    and then testing by running
    echo $ORACLE_HOME
    gave me a blank line.
I thought that logging onto the gui as mtaylor might be the problem since I was getting 2 errors in the shell as the java initialized:
    ATSFontGetFileSpecification failed: error -5000 (twice),
    2) so I decided to log onto the gui as the user oracle and then open a shell. Doing this, I get to step 12 of 12, press finish and nothing happens at all. It doesn't freeze tho because I can cancel and exit with no problem.
I went back to mtaylor and tried again and now I get the same result. I may have done something else to fix my first problem meanwhile as I have been working on this for a few hours.
I have confirmed that I am specifying the correct directories in the dbca, the .bash_profile and the files below, and that the owner:group is oracle:oinstall with r/w access:
    ORACLE_BASE=/Volumes/u01/app/oracle
    ORACLE_HOME="$ORACLE_BASE/product/10.1.0.3/db_1"
    PATH="$PATH:~bin:$ORACLE_HOME/bin"
    ORACLE_SID=orcl
My tnsnames.ora is (after default entry):
    orcl.world =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)
    (HOST=localhost)(PORT=1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA=(SERVER=DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME=orcl)))
    My listener.ora is:
    SID_LIST_LISTENER=
    (SID_LIST=
    (SID_DESC=
    (SID_NAME=orcl)
    (ORACLE_HOME=/Volumes/u01/app/oracle/product/10.1.0.3/db_1)))
I am specifying /Volumes/u02/oradata as the datafiles location (this exists with the same permissions as above)and specifying include the example schemas.
    Any ideas anyone?
