how can i do?
Help me plz, i have to develop an important work for my university.
thx
OK, it appears to be a version issue. I originally installed the latest stable version available (3.2M3), thinking that is always best. I had the same symptom. So I went down to 3.0 since that is the version in the HelloWorld tutorial PDF and it works as advertized. Looks like Oracle needs to update the plugin to work with 3.2

Unable to create Instance with Object Editor and Attachment Pattern
Hi Experts,
I created a simple entity service with some attributes and a document reference.
I also configured an object editor pattern and assigned a attachment pattern. The created object editor works as long as I don't attach a file. But if I attach a file and want to save it I get an error message "cannot create"
In the default log.trc I have some entries
Cannot read associated instance with MOF ID 105D8E0C4F02D45AFFD5B9D6A09EFB7A of MOF Layer 2 for (6DC24B80F6004CDBF4FA6C560AEDD33C,<null>)
and
refPackageM1(com.sap.ip.bi.sdk.dac.olap.query) failed RepositoryDBMemory. Using generic one.
I configured the j2ee engine according the tutorial "Integrating KM with CAF UI Patterns"
So what is wrong?
Best regards ManuelHi,
From the stacktrace I assume that the following happens (please correct me, if I'm wrong):
<b>*</b> Some time based event mechanism sends an event to your custom event handler code. That code is execute in some system context.
<b>*</b> Your handler uses the RF API to create a collection. All this is perfectly OK. Here my assumptions end, the next steps are solid facts.
<b>*</b> Within the RF all property filters are informed that a resource is about to be created. One of the filters is trying to obtain a lock from a system provided Locking Service.
<b>*</b> That service refuses to grant the lock, telling that system users are not allowed to do so.
Most proably you cannot do anything to solve this problem by yourself. When I ran into the same Exception once, I could avoid to have my code run in a system thread. Well you might try to do the same.
Otherwise please open a customer message and complain about the restiction in the locking behaviour.
Best regards,
Michael -
Posting this on behalf of abrahamkf from the jsp newsgroups.
I am using eclips 3.1.2 and BEU free jsp editor. I have a eclipse project created by appfuse with the WEB-INF folder under 'web' directory, but my jsp pages are under the directory 'web/pages'. The following error is being thrown on opening the jsp pages.

Creating a Custom SAPscript Editor
I am trying to create a custom SAPscript editor and I'm having problems. We are on SAP 640.
We use texts to store notes against invoices recording details of the dunning process. Our users have ask if we can tailor the notes so that users can insert new notes against an invoice but not update or delete old notes. I have tried to do this by creating a custom editor EDIT_TEXT_FORMAT_XXXXX where XXXXX is ZGTENO a text format that has been set up against text object BELEG. Unfortunately the new module is never called.
For most text objects SAP picks up the text format and moves it into the SAPscript header and this field in the SAPscript header is used to call the custom editor. For example in program sapfv45t include FV45TFDB_TTXER_SELECT_CREDM text format is in gt_tdtexttype or lv_tdtexttype one of these fields is then moved into the SAPscript header field xthead-tdtexttype which is used in function group STXD function module EDIT_TEXT (the field is in chead-tdtextline) to decide whether to call the standard editor (function FULL_SCREEN_NEW) or a custom editor but for text object BELEG it gets the text format but never moves it to the SAPscript header (for example see program sapfv45t include FV45TFDB_TTXER_SELECT_BELEG it gets the text format in lv_tdtexttype but doesn't move it to xthead-tdtexttype so it can't be used to call a custom editor) so it looks as if a custom editor cannot be used with text object BELEG, is this correct or am I missing something?
I can see my new text format ZGTENO being picked up in the debugger but because it isn't moved into the SAPscript header it doesn't call my function module, it always calls the standard editor.Two days after you posting you original question: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=651625&messageID=3831712
you find the answer on your own. Yes, the general Java forum sure is helpfull.
If the question was posted in the Swing forum you would have had the answer in a couple of hours:

Creating a small HTML-Editor using JEditorPane
Hello! I'm trying to create a small HTML-Editor. Via this editor users shall be capable to create formatted text (bold, italic, underlined, different sizes, different fonts, different colors). Furthermore, if the user pushes the enter-button a new line-break (<br>) shall be inserted. Basically my editor is working but with some big problems:
1. When I create an instance of my editor, I initialize it with some html-code.
this.m_EditorPane.setText("<html><head></head><body></body></html>"); Without this initialization between the <body> and </body> <p> and </p> will be inserted, what I don't want. But if I push now the enter-button at the beginning, <br>-tag will not be inserted in the <body>-area but in the <head>-area.
2. Styling text is working really good, but when I insert a line-break (via enter-button), the <br>-tag is inserted after the (e.g.) closing bold-tag (</b>). So, in the next line, this style-property must be reselected.
Can anybody help me to change this behavior?
Kind regards, Stefan
P.S. The way I insert the <br>-tag:
JEditorPane editor = getEditor(ae);
HTMLDocument doc = getHTMLDocument(editor);
HTMLEditorKit kit = getHTMLEditorKit(editor);
editor.replaceSelection("");
int offset = editor.getCaretPosition();
kit.insertHTML(doc, offset, "<br>", 0, 0, HTML.Tag.BR);
editor.getCaret().setDot(editor.getCaretPosition());P.P.S. Sorry for my bad english :-/Hello! I'm trying to create a small HTML-Editor. I am unable to use Web based Note Editor in my Ipad
I am unable to use web based note editor in my ipad whereas it is working in my Mac Book and Iphone. Can u plz help?
So are you saying that when you go to the same web page as them, your browser shows something different to what their browser shows them ? Can you literally email one URL back and forth and get different results, or is the URL different for different users ?
Do you have to log in to anything on the web server to get to that point ? Might it be that your account doesn't have the same access their account has ?
Can you try letting them use your iPad temporarily and see whether it continues to work for them ? -
I am unable to open Organizer or Photo Editor this morning of elements 12 and don't know why.
I am unable to open Organizer or Photo Editor in elements 12 this morning and don't know why. Any ideas??
OK,
Good to hear that you are running at the moment.
The causes for organizer and the editor to stop working are usually different. For both to be affected, I would tend to suspect disk space problems. Probably a good idea to check that you have plenty of free space.
Please let us know if you have problems again and we can try troubleshooting.

How to create a WYSIWIG HTML editor
I need to create a WYSIWIG HTML editor and I'm thinking of using Swing.
I realise many have done this before and that there are products already on the market ranging from Coffee Cup to Dreamweaver.
However, this will be for a specific application where my users will need to drop some composite objects on to the web page -- these objects will generate chunks of HTML containing some of my own attributes with a special syntax. These objects might be as simple as a textbox with a label, or something more complex.
So the idea is that the user selects the object they wish to create by clicking a particular icon in a palette. The cursor changes to a cross-hair as the mouse is moved across some sort of canvas pane. The user clicks where they want the top left-hand corner of the object to be (rubber banding not necessary). A dialogue pops up asking for some context-sensitive properties for the object. At this point, the system can work out the HTML object it needs to create, i.e. tags, attributes, etc.
So far the canvas pane has acted as a simple drawing surface, perhaps with a set of grid lines to aid the user in positioning. But at this point, know that we know the HTML object required, I want it to be rendered on the pane as HTML.
Is it possible for a pane to be both a canvas an an HTML renderer like this, so that I can achieve a true WYSIWYG effect ? Does anyone understand what I'm talking about ?! Are there any examples of how I would go about this ?
ThanksIs it possible for a pane to be both a canvas an an HTML renderer like this, so that I can achieve a true WYSIWYG effect ? Does anyone understand what I'm Check out JEditorPane and JTextPane for HTML support. You have to do JEditorPane.setEditable(false) to make it render html. It also SUCKS as a web container - no support for style sheets, forms, javascript, etc.
It is definitely possible to add components into or over the JEditorPane to show lines and other things. I'm just not sure what the point of this is. -
Unable to login via Internet Script Editor
I have a user that is unable to open / login Internet Script Editor on any computer using her username and password. The error message is "The user credentials you supplied were not accepted by the server. Please contact the Web server's administrator to verify you have permission to log on."
We can login and open with other users that have the same access permissions. We have also tried configuring the Internet Script Editor to access the other AW but the message is the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks
VictorI just remember that there used to be a problem once with a certain version of Putty 0.61 defaulting to GSSAPI... Perhaps that is the problem. Please see here: OEL 5.5 - access denied .... but not!
Otherwise, try to login using ssh -vvv username@hostname and see there it stops. Have you previously configured or modifed /etc/ssh/sshd_config?
Debugging the connection in Putty is very inconvenient. You can download a free copy of MobaXterm (home edition) to enter ssh -vvv.... from MobaXterm free Xserver and tabbed SSH client for Windows -
JPanel which uses reflection to create a simple property editor
Hi everyone,
Here's what I'd like: a custom JPanel, let's call it DesiredJPanel, which can be passed an object as an argument, and which then detects all the public getters and setters on that object, and then creates a simple property editor, with default behavior for numbers, booleans, Strings, etc. It might be used like this:
JDialog dialog = new JDialog(new DesiredJPanel(someObjectWithSettersAndGetters)));
dialog.setVisible(true);
Then we'd get a dialog populated with the current values of all relevant properties. The panel could have a button bar, with an ok button. When you press it, all the properties of someObjectWithSettersAndGetters are set according to what the user has entered in the fields of the panel.
This seems like a pervasive, standard use case. It also seems like javabeans is intended for this. E.g. quoting wikipedia: "JavaBeans are reusable software components for Java that can be manipulated visually in a builder tool." Moreover, there is the java.beans.PropertyEditor interface.
And yet I can't find anything that seems to do this, so I end up writing the same boilerplate style code over and over. I found some commercial thing (this is for an open source project), and netbeans does what I'm after but it's netbeans. I want something that can be used in any swing app.
Apologies if I've overlooked something obvious or posted this to the wrong forum (if either, please let me know!).
All best and happy new year!
- JeffNot exactly what you asked for, but reasonably close. You can use my [Bean Table Model|http://www.camick.com/java/blog.html?name=bean-table-model] to create a JTable which will display all the properties in a single row of a table. The appropriate renderer/editor is used for each property.
Play with the commented out code in JButtonTableModel class to see what you get for your particular bean. -
Creating a WYSIWYG HTML editor
quick question:
I'm creating an HTML editor using JTextPane for my GUI and an HTMLEditorKit in the back. I'm just running a simple test with the following html file:
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<p>
let's make a web page
</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
<b>just to see if this works</b>
</p>
</body>
</html>I'm calling
HTMLEditorKit editorKit = new HTMLEditorKit();
HTMLDocument doc = (HTMLDocument) editorKit.createDefaultDocument();
editorKit.read(m_reader, this.getDoc(), 0);where m_reader is a FileReader linked to the above file.
Then I'm using that as the content for my JTextPane by saying
textPane = new JTextPane(doc);Then when I do a System.out.print(textPane.getText()), I get:
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<p>
</p>
</body>
</html>any ideas?Originally posted by: aullah.thinkanalytics.com

I'd create my own Draw2D figure to render text boxes and other html
elements. SWT widgets can't (as far as I know) be embedded in the GEF
GrapicalViewer's main (SWT) control. You're building blocks are Draw2D
figures. A nice emulated lightweight solution (c.f swing).
The other great advantage, is that a figure based TextField gives you the
the ability to style the appearance of the textbox, ie border, colour, etc.
You could create a base figure styling interface.
The TextField or TextBox, could be based on a draw2d.text FlowFigure.
You're also going to need to have some form of FlowLayout for the page,
to emulate how elements flow on a HTML page in a browser.
I guess the Logic Diagram labels are a good place to start looking. -
Unable to create IDOCs after client copy
I'm unable to create IDOCs after a client copy. I receive a SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC or insert of duplicate rows ABAP dump.
Does anyone know what how to fix this. Thank you in advance.
Runtime Error SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
Except. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
Date and Time 22.10.2007 16:50:51
ShrtText
The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLEDI1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
the database and that record already exists with the same key,
this results in a termination.
(With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error
situation, processing does not terminate, but SY-SUBRC is set to 4.)
How to correct the error
Use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert only if you are sure that none of
the records passed already exists in the database.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLEDI1" or "LEDI1F09"
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
"(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:

Unable to create New objects in SE37 & SE38
Hi Experts,
I am ABAPer and facing belowing mentioned problem.
I am unable to create any custom objects like executable programs/BAPI/FM due to performance.
I am able to open required transactions like SE37/SE38, after that If I try to create or test object, the system is not responding, again we need to go to task bar to close the session.
I tried to debug SE38 to know what happening internally, it is closing automatically.
I tied the below mentioned steps .
1). I am able to Creating/ Deleting Tables in SE11.
Unable to create executable program.
Open SE38 àEnter z----- object name à Click on Create à in new window Provide Description àSelect program type u201CExecutableu201D à in new dialogue select package &
click to save the object. (Here is the problem , we need to restart session, unable to save object properly)
2). Function module and BAPI I am trying to test in SE37.
However I am able to open se37 transaction with in few seconds,
After entering FM/BAPI name in SE37, if we click on Display or try to execute that FM/BAPI system is not responding.
Open SE37 à Enter existed object name example RFC_READ_TABLE à click on Display (System will not respond, no content will be displayed)
As per my knowledge, when ever interacting with SAP Database system is going to struct,
However a basis Consultant can understand better then me.
Please suggest and let me know what need to be done further.
Thanks & Regards,
SAIHi,
I had that also, the window war frozen.
The problem was the editor mode.
=> go to poperties.
=> change to mode to "old editor". don't use the first option (Now, I don't know the description). "Editor (new)"
(a bug of the frontend or the backend)

Unable to create a Site Content in Web Page Composer
Hi All,
I am new to WPC and would like to explore more on the same. I tried following some blogs inorder to create and publish Web Pages.
I was stuck at a point where we need to create a site content. I guess all the permissions required to access each folder is properly set.
When I tried to create a content like for example an article... A window pops up which says please select a document type and I dont have any option to select whereas I have a cancel and next button at the bottom of the screen. When I click next nothing happens.
Did anyone went through this issue? What am I doing wrong? Did I fail to set some role to the author creating content?? Author has wpc_editor_role though.
Regards,
Rekha MalavathuHi Sandeep,
The popup window (which I suppose is an XML Editor) doesnt have any UI Element to select when I try to create any content... may it be an Article, Linklist, etc...
I am using WAS 2004S SP 14. As I mentioned, all the xml and xsl files are available in the folder and even in the KM Configuration.
My problem is, I am unable to create a content as the popup window is blank... No UI Element to select or enter.
Regards,
Rekha Malavathu
