Unable to create multiple Purchase order base on One Purchase requisition

Dear All,
I have problem to create multiple POs base on one PR.
For example, PR is automatically created after a Sales order which contain 10 pec of Material A. A PO is created for 4 pec of Material A first which is no problem, but when it come to create second PO for the remaining 6 pec, the system respond with a error message. "Materials for PReq 10167146, item 00010, already partially ordered, Message no. 06 249"
I have searched for the SAP Note to solve this problem, the Note number is 202011, to solve the problem I need to import
SAPKB46B03 and SAPKB46B04 for my 4.6B system. However those two package had already installed into the system long time ago, and the problem is still not solved. The currect level of PS is SAPKB46B57. And I was advised not to re-import the PS (SAPKB46B03 and SAPKB46B04) again.
Could anyone please tell me is there any other solution to get around this problem.
Thanks for your time
Alvin

    thanks & regards

    Hi,
The feature for combining the Sales Orders based on the Charecteristics is available on in Industry Specific Solution - Mill Products (IS-Mill).
Otherwise, in standard SAP you can not do that..
"Material Variants" could be an alternative for this..

  • How to create multiple Purchase Order  using the same document number?

    HI Friends,

    eg:
    DocNum for Purchase Order1 -->3000   0 (Index)
      DocNum for Purchase Order2 -->3000   1 (Index)
But i can't create multiple Purchase Order using same DocNum manually in SAP B1,Could anybody please help me <b>to create a Purchase Order using same DocumentNumber?</b>
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
The problem statement is not quite clear to me.
As far as I understand your statement, I think you want to club multiple orders into one purchase order using the index incrementally.
For this I think once you have created the first purchase order, open the purchase order in edit mode the second time and append the new line items.
If I am getting you wrong please explain the problem statement in more detail.

  • How to Configure Multiple Purchase Requisitions per Service Order

    Hi experts!
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, but I was wondering how I can configure multiple Purchase Requisitions to be created from a service or maintenance order (IW31) based on the control key (or if it's even possible).
What would be the pros and cons of doing this?  We currently only have one PR being created for one order (a 1-to-1 relationship), however now with implementing external services, we want 2 or more PRs created based on the control key.  Is the control key the best way to go, or should I be looking at a different deciding field?
    Thanks in advance!
    Stephanie

    Raj,
Thank you so much for the information.  That does help!  However business requirements are now changing to have different Purchase Requisitions created for a single order in the following scenarios:
                 - New Purchase Req created for different operations (you explained how above, perfect!)
                 - Seperate Purchase Req created for non-stock items (your answer above seems to group service operations and non-stock into the same Purchase Req).
                 - New Purchase Req created if the order has already been released.  (If the order's status is still at "Create", then the additional component can be appended to the existing Purchase Req.  If the order's status is "Released", and a new component is added, a new Purchase Req is created).
As mentioned, you explained how to do the first requirement.  Is there anyway SAP can handle the next two requirements using standard config and not customizing anything?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Create multiple sales orders from single service notification?

Is it possible to create multiple sales orders from a single notification (IW51)?
We currently create sales orders directly within transaction IW51 (Create Service Notification).  We kick off the sales order creation by pressing the "SALES ORD." button in the notification screen.  We're now interested in creating a 2nd Sales Order which would tie directly to the same Service Notification.  This is so that we can have the second order assigned to a different account assignment WBS (there are two different parties doing work on the service notification).
I assume you would have to go to VA01 to create the Sales Order, but am not sure how to tie it directly to the service notification from here.  I treied to do a create with reference, but there is no ability to create with reference to a service notification.
Do I have to create a second service notification for the 2nd Sales Order for this to work?  I want to avoid doing this if at all possible.
    I'm running SAP R/3 Enterprise
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,
go to vtaa- copy controls for sales document to sales document.
select your combination of order and quotation go to item level. There select value 0(zero) in field positive/negative negative.
No need to change update document flow.
After setting zero in copy control that be told on above. create order with respective to the quotation.
    After saving the order.
go to document flow to see the status in between quotation and order.
If you placed setting right, then u certainly observe for quotation status will be open. so you can create no. of sales order with respect to that quotation..
    Have a good day..

  • How can I create multiple sales orders with reference to one contract?

    Hello Gurus,
Can you please how can I create multiple sales orders with reference to one contract?
    thanks!
    Rakesh

    hi
    Lets consider example
In your contract for line item 1 you have entered qty 100
You careated sales order with 70 quantity, and now you want to creat another sales order for 30
For this first you need to check what is your item category in contract (VA42)
    Goto VOV7
SPRO - IMG  - Sales and distribution - Sales - Sales document item - Define item categories - Go to change mode
Make the completion rule = B Item is completed after full quantity has been referenced

  • MRP creating additional purchase requisitions for the existing sales order

    Hi,
We have scenario where we switch materials from POD material to ARP material. POD material is just like make to procurement which creates purchase requisition and purchase order upon saving the sales order. ARP (Auto replenishment) material creates purchase requisition based on sales order and re-order point while running MRP.
When the material is POD title, it created purchase requisition and purchase order (example: 4500000110) while saving the sales order (example: 1000000010) for the quantity 10. After some time this material is switched to ARP and it has open sales order (1000000010) and purchase order (4500000110).
We have special MRP run for ARP materials based on MRP type, which creates purchase requisition.. What is happening is when we run MRP; it is creating new purchase requisition for the old sales order (1000000010) for the quantity 10. But old sales order (1000000010) is already having purchase order (4500000110) to fulfill. So we donu2019t want to create new purchase requisition for the old sales orders. It should create purchase requisition only for new sales orders.
    Please advise
    Thanks in advance
    Srinivas

    Mangesh,
If the components are Inhouse production then you can think of using collective orders by assigning special procurement key 52. If raw material exists then your requirement cannot be met..as i think your scenario is of assembly processing. The idea of assembly processing is that component materials will always be available and only assembly will be done based on Sale Order.

  • Best Practice while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order

    Hi
What is the best practice with respect to Contract & Purchase Requisition?
IN T Code ME31K, there is a button Reference to PReq, meaning that we can create contract with using Purchase Requisition. (We have done the same)
While creating the Purchase Order using Contract, we could find Purchase Requisition reference in the Purchase Order; similarly when we created the Purchase Order using Purchase Requisition, we could find Contract reference in the Purchase Order.
    I have done the following:
    1. Create a Contract.
    2. Create a Purchase Requisition
    3. Assign Requisition and Create Purchase Order using T Code ME57.
    4. Create Purchase Order
Here in this case we could find references of both Contract & Purchase Requisition.
I just want to know what Practice should we adopt / advise while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition. & Purchase Order?
    Regards,

    Hi,
In ME51N Screen, enter Contract number in the "AGREEMENT" TAB and if more items in the contract, you can mention the item number in the next TAB to the AGREEMENT TAB and then proceed with creating PR by entering other details. This TAB you can find in the 4th column from extreme right end of PR screen.

  • Unable to create multiple transport target groups in SLD

We have multiple R/3 QA systems but just 1 XI QA system and we need to test interfaces with all R/3 QA client at the same time. My XI development team has asked to explore whether its possible to create multiple target systems.
Currenlty R3_dev has R3_QA1 as target business system, we would like to add R3_QA2 as target system for R3_dev.
There is a "add/change" option in Transport tab and there is a grid which seems to imply that multilple entries are possible.
I have added R3_QA2 to the Group "Qa_Bus_Group" and was able to  replace
R3_QA1  with R3_QA2 however I was unable to create multiple target systems.
I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Syed,
You can create multiple target systems only for different business system groups. If all the business systems like R3_QA1,R3_QA2, R3_QA3 belong to the same business group "QA_BUS_GROUP" , then you can have only one among the three system as target.
So R3_DEV  can have only one system as target either R3_QA1 Or R3_QA2 or R3_QA3 since they belong to the same business group "QA_BUS_GROUP".
If there are three different business system groups then you can have 3 target systems that correspond to their respective business system groups ,in this case source business system can be assigned to the 3 target systems that belong to different business system groups .
Since that is not the case with your scenario, you cannot create multiple target systems.

  • Create multiple sales order

    Dear all,
how to create multiple sales order using rfc's.
                                                  regards,
                                                   malli.

I Don't think there is a RFC for it. But you can create the Function and make it RFC enable.
the Interface of The RFC should allow and take information to create multiple orders.
    inside the RFC ,
you need to loop the table parameters
since the main table contains information of all the orders.
    and
    Call the BAPI
    BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
and pass appropriate information for each loop and create order.

  • MRP creating a Purchase Requisition

    All,
I have a user that uses MD04 to create a planned order into a Purchase Requistion on a daily basis.  However, my ser is telling me that they sometimes go into MD04 and the system has automatically created the Purchase Requisition even though the user did not convert the pan order.  Can someone to explain to me what setting is allowing this to happen.  This is an area I am unfamiliar with.
    Thanks,
    Sean

    Dear
There are following reason why MRP generetes PR rather than Planned Order :
1.In MD03/MD02/MD01-You might have selected Create PR indicator as 1 along with other MRP parameters like NETCH .
2.In material master MRP2 view , you must be assinged F-External Procurement for material  or X-both in-house /external
3.If you have assinge MRP Group in MRP1 view for External item , then check in OPPR-Deifne MRP group whether you have marked Create Perchase Req .
4.Basically , MRP processing parameter used by you for "Create Purchase Requisation" field in MRP run it may be   "2", what this means is that after MRP run, it creates purchase requisitions within the opening period and planned orders outside the opening period. If you always want PR to be created then use parameter "1"  but if you want Planned Order then keep 2 or 3
Just check the re-scheudling horizon and planning horizon if any in OPPQ and test the same in same.I think when it is out side the opening period , it will generate Planned order .

  • Is there any way to create a Purchase Requisition without Purchase Inf Rec?

    Hi,
i am dealing with the Preq creation for services when there is not any previous contract and i have noticed that the vendor and the net price are posible to populate them directly in the Purchase Requisition. if then i try to run the ME59 it is not possible to automatically convert it to a Purchase order because there is no PIR (when i assign the source of supply in the Preq then the PO is correctly created using ME59).
I have been reviewing customizing but there is not any point related to that.
Someone knows if it is possible to create a Preq for services without PIR?
    thanks
    ivan

    Hi,
For Service auto- PO from PR, you need to activate Automatic Purchase order creation for Service requisitions in ML91 t.code.
    Note:
For material :automatic PO creation from PR, follow the steps.
    1) Material Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box
    2) Vendor Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box.
    3) Maintain Source list for Vendor & Material.(ME01)
    4) Maintain Purchase Info Record.(ME11)
    5) Create a Purchase Requisition.(ME51)
    6) Use T.Code: ME59 & execute for PR for vendor, you will be able to create automatic PO.
During creation of PR , select check box of Source Determination in the 1st screen of ME51
Ensure that Purchase Info Record should be there.
If you have more than one vendor then fixes only one vendor in source list.

  • Error when creating a purchase requisition in reference to a contract.

    Hello All,
My client have a requirement that , He wants to create a purchase requissition with Item catogery-B and account assignment-K
    with reference to a contract.
when we are trying to create a purchase requisition with Item catogery-B and account assignment-K
with reference to a contract the system is throwing an error: "Item categories in agreement and requisition incompatible".
I had searched for the relating documents and tried all the conbinations but could not find the solution.
Could any body help in this regard.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Gayathri
I thought so. So that means you are unable to create a contract with the combination of K and B which is why you are not able to adopt it in the PR with the same results.
As far as entering the limit goes, you would be making a value contract in which you would have to enter the value of contract that you need to create for vendor. Also, for the second error, once you have created a contract with the particular account assignment, u cannot change it. You would have to create a new contract with the desired account assignment category and then try creating a PR. Hope this helps!
