Unable to create system Alias.

Hi All,
I Created one system object , but i am not able to create system Alias.While creating system Alias it throws this error " This system object is restricted and u can't create System Alias". Exactly what is the prob?What is the solution?

system object is restricted
1. Make sure you have required permissions to create the system object. You should use administrator user to create the system.
2. Check the object properties and permissions.
Refer following procedure to create the system object and see if you have missed any step.

There are bunch of them from SharePoint Disk-Based Cache counter that its trying to create but they cannot be used.
I've logged on to the server as a farm admin, which has full farm permissions, local admin and runs OWSTIMER.EXE service, but I was not able to add the counters myself. I've read few posts here on TechNet but no one answered on how to enable/recreate these
performance counters. I would like to resolve this if its possible.

I could not find the reason why those SharePoint Performance Counters were not on the WFE servers so I just disabled the "Diagnostic Data Provider: Performance Counters - Web Front Ends" in the Central Admin > Monitoring > Job Definitions.

Unable to create system reserved partiton

Hello,
I buy new laptop hp brobook 450 g2 core i3 5th generation.
I am installing window 8.1 from usb 3.0 and unable to create system reserved partion because of this windows unable to install.
I tried a lot search in internet try all ways even run driver from load drive but I am fail.
New generation machine and 3.0 usb not working properly appreciate to hp.
I install window 8.1 in lenevo and in hp envy and other machine with usb 3.0.
usb 2.0 works fine in my new machine but 3.0 unable to create system reserved partition.
one thing I mentioned that I update my bios also.
there is an another issue reported by person but the support enggineer not reply second time or he will fail to solve the problem.If support engineer dont want to reply so kindly please close this support option please dont consider that people are fool.
Please answer me till my problem solve completly. I chat to the support but i didnt get any reply from there.

Unable to Create System from System template

Dear All,
I am planning to Integrate my Lotus Notes Web mail thru Portal(using SSO).
For that I have uploaded file com.sap.portal.howtos.webapp.par into my development portal, and created a System template , but When i am going to create System from that system template it is not visible.Kindly Suggest...
If is there any other solution for SSO to access lotus web mail.

System: WebMail (system alias)
URL template: http://10.80.10.20
User mapping template: username=<MappedUser>&Password=<MappedPassword>
But it is asking for login??

Unable to create new alias, for no apparent reason

Hi there,
I want to add an alias to my iCloud account. I already have one email adresse @me.com, and i want an alias to point to it. When i try to create one, i get an error: "server error. the address couldn't be saved".
What can i do? i really want this alias because i have it on every website on the internet pretty much.

My problem are somewhat simmilar, trere is no button to click to create a new alias although the diections provided instruct you to click this unvisible button. OS 10.7.4 iMac.

Here is what I tried to do:
1. Restarted that thing.
2. Cleaned the security log.
3. Installed Windows Server 2003 Hotfix rollup KB940349-v3.
4. Stopped both SBSMONITORING and SHAREPOINT instances of MSDE, SQL 2005, SQL 2005 VSS and tried to perform the system state backup then. Stopped Exchange 2003 before launching NTBACKUP as well.
5. "regsvr32 sqlvdi.dll" in MSDE directory.
6. Renamed "System Volume Information" on all volumes and VSS has re-created them.
7. chkdsk /f was fun on all volumes, no major issues found.
8. Installed Hotfixes KB967551, KB975928-v2 (someone recommended).
9. Disabled SQL Server VSS Writer (SQLVDI errors disappeared from the application event log, VSS and NTBACKUP errors stayed).
10. Re-registered the DLLs as per Shaon Shan's post at http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winservergen/thread/346fa42c-a476-457f-bcf3-59f87e444b55
The above had no effect on the issue whatsoever, except a little change at item 9 as mentioned.

Hi there.
I just had that problem. I saw friday my backup from my sbs 2003, was not completing becasuse it said it couldn´t creat a shadow copy in the external drive... It kept giving me errors os VSS and Volsnap... But strange thing is, i have VSS turned off in all
drives, and from months no problems with backups... So i went in Event viewer and look at it with attention, i saw a error that keep coming up from time to time (because we change the external drive form week to week). And i realize that there's a disk error
event...
Couldn´t run checkdisk from server, dont now why.. So i disconnected the drive, connected to my laptop, and ran a CheckDisk /F /X. ... It had BAD SECTORS! So i ran check disk... waited like 10-20 minutes. And then i ran it again just in case, and the 2nd
time was much more faster, like 3-6 minutes.
I disconnected from laptop, and connected to server. I went to the Backup wizard (in server managment), and press Backup now...
It hang 5-10 second in Creating Shadow copy..... And it started making the Backup :_D
I've seen all errors that were reported exactly as mine. I ran the Hotfix, all stayed the same, i followed all manual steps and still the same... and the problem was always in the external drive, which had bad sectors.
Hope it will help the next person that needs this info!

Unable to create allotted alias email accounts

Every time I enter info & submit form for alias acct. receive alert msg. That iTunes cannot save alias at this time????

The solution is very easy man do, the following :
Go to : messaging ----> left key (options) ---> settings ---> E-mail ---->select your inbox (Gmail ) ----- > connection settings ----> incoming e-mail * ---->access point in use ---- >User defined ------> select your WLAN access point
* Do this also for outgoing mail

is there any way to create such "files" from an Air Application ?
I think there's no API able to do this. But maybe is it possible using raw binary data writing ?

How did you remove Windows 7? If you did not use Boot Camp Assistant you have messed up your drive and will have to start over by erasing and formatting your drive then reinstall OSx and and Windows 8.

Problem in creation of system alias for bw system

I want to create system alias for the bw system
system admin->sys Config->system landscape->portal content->my own folder
for this folder i created the system object
after creation of system object, from property category i select the connector and give the details.
after that i select the user management and give
authentication ticket - select
Logon method- UIDPW
User Management type- admin,user
i saved till now
in the display object i select the system alias
then that screen displays
In the system alias screen, i clicked on add button for adding alias then we r getting this message.
User Mapping Status: (Not ready for user mapping configuration)
Please give the solution for solving this problem

I checked the connection settings.
WAS settings in system object is giving this mistake
before user mapping it works fine.
after giving usermapping i ma getting this exception.

for testing the connector i am getting this exception

System Alias Configuration in EP6

Dear All,
Can Any one tell me How To Configure the System Alias in Ep6 netweaver Component...
I have followed the steps given in Documnetation
first i created the system...
while creating the system it is asking system id system name..
i gave system id some thing like Test1 and System name as url of the my SAP server which is some thing like /K/192.65.177.3/...../10.30.245.40/K/141.119.9.130
after creating system i created a system alias but whatever i created system alias should come under users manage ment section to configure the user id password after selecting the system as how it comes in ep5.. but it is not comming can any thing is miising or wrong in my system alias configuration....
can any one please help me in configuring the system alias

What User Mapping Type have you given?
You should give "Admin,User" for the system to come for user mapping.

Unable to lookup System ...check the system object and the alias

I am working on EP6 Sp 9. I have created iviews and integrated j2ee application by appIntegartor . everything is working fine . but these iviews are working only with superadmin role . with any other role am getting the error message "Unable to lookup System 'NNNJ2ee'. Please check the system object and the alias.."
Have created a role and done appropriate user mapping. Connection Test goes through successfully and iViews work fine as expected, but just in administrator login.
i found a a thread dissucing about the same problem in this forum and followed the solution given by them(assigning eu_role to the user) .
But still it is not working for me.
can anyone please help me in finding the solution .

Hi,
The cause is :
When you create an item with the 'super admin role' user's , you don't have the role : 'eu_role' assigned.
So when you create a new item the role 'eu_role' is not spread to end user.
The solution is :
First add the 'eu_role' to the super admin user. For all next item created it's work fine.
For item already created,
- right click on the object, Select open permissions.
- In the display option, choose Permissions
- Search for role : 'eu_role'
- Add the permissions
- check the box 'End User'
- Save
- And test
For me it's work fine. Let me know if it's good for you...

I am implementing the Business Package for CRM.
I have created the SAP_CRM and SAP_BW systems and assigned them the same aliases as mentioned in the instructions in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40/helpdata/en/11/0584016208bc4988c3791d6213b6d0/content.htm
I have tested the connections to the WAS, as well as ITS server after configuring them from the portal system administration.
However, I get the exception.

Hi Sumit,
System is an object in Portal Content Directory (PCD). User of portal should have permissions to access it. Looking up is a kind of access.
Please go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> System Landscape. Find your system and right-click on it, then choose 'Permissions'. There you should make sure that your portal user has permissions.

There is an extract probably related to your problem:
" If an iView is based on a system object defined in your system landscape (see System Landscape), you must assign end user permission for the relevant user, group, or role to the system object, as well. End user permission assigned to a system permits the iView to retrieve data from the respective back-end application through the system object at runtime."

Unable to create a PO(in backend system) in ECS

Hello all,
I used the FM BBP_PD_SC_CREATE, BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE, BBP_PD_SC_SAVE to create a shopping cart in ECS scenario.
The problem is I am unable to create a PO in the backend system for the shopping cart. I am also getting the message 'Vendor 3000014598 not intended for purch. org. Ref: MM Purchasing Org'.
Please help me in this context.

The problem with organization structure , Please check your organizaiton structure.
Change company code /Pur.org Separatlly it will work.
while replicating vendor please select the flag 'with out reference to back end pur.org' and choose local purchasing organization.

Windows 7 Ultimate isn't installing on my iMac. Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition

I have a 21.5" iMac (Late 2012) running OS X Mavericks. I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate via Bootcamp but whenever i get to the setup part it goes wrong
These are the steps I followed
I selected all the options since I didn't have the drivers or an install disk
it copied the Windows 7 iso image, downloaded the support software, and saved the support software to the flash drive (8GB)
I selected a partition size - I gave windows roughly 100GB
and I let it install
Right now I'm at the part where it says " where do you want to install windows? I selected the bootcamp partition and formatted it. It now says
"Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information"
WHAT DO I DO?

I had to read the apple instructions several times before they started to make sense. I burned my iso onto a DVD and had the required USB for support software. Are you trying to use the single USB method?

Boot Camp - Setup was unable to create a new system partition....from Windows install

Hi folks. So I ran the boot camp wizard and made a USB install key for windows from that. I boot to it and everything works until I get to the install. I format the Boot Camp partition as indicated in the walkthrough and then I get "Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information." from the Windows installer. What do I do? Thanks.

just to add to the mix. . . i just got a new macbook retina.
Originally used a USB flash drive. Hit the same barrier described here.
Spent a few hours with drive unplugging / replugging silliness. No progress. Went back into OSX to attempt using an external DVD drive. There is no option for that in Bootcamp assistant now - must use USB.
Grabbed a different USB stick and started again. This time I used the other USB port on the macbook (the one on the left). Everything worked fine this time!?
You still have to go into "advanced options" and hit "format" when you get to the partition screen.
Moral of the story: different stick, different port. Sounds random. If that doesn't work, try changing your socks and putting on a hat.
