Unable to create text
This is my first go at using Photoshop and after downloading PS6 on my home computer and laptop last night through Adobes subscription, I immediately ran in to an issue on both systems which run windows 7. Issue: I am unable to create any type of visible text or get the lines or curser to appear which show I am typing. I have messed with the font (making it bigger/smaller) and my text color is different than my background and still no luck. Once I type something however and start a new layer I can then see my text show up in the layers window on the previous layer. Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciated. I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered and I missed it. Thanks in advance.
Try the following steps:
Open 'Performance Preferences' as shown above. On Windows, this setting will be available under 'Edit' tab.
See the 2 highlighted boxes on the screenshot above. Check if the 'Use Graphics Processor' option is enabled. If it is, click on '1' Advanced Settings.
Choose 'Basic' as shown in the screenshot.
Click OK and try creating text.
If it still doesn't work, go back to 2nd screenshot, disable 'Use Graphics Processor' option by unchecking the box next to (2) as shown in screenshot and see if that fixes it.

Unable to create text using SAVE_TEXT FM

I' m trying to automaticly create a text in Create measurement Document (IK11 in PM) when notification is created . For this in program IMRC0004 on exit i put FM SAVE_TEXT but its not working as it should.
BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE & BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE is used to create notification & in order to create text SAVE_TEXT is used.
But when the document is saved the specific text is not created. In debug the FM returns with no error.

try to check the FM READ_TEXT by passing the same parameters used in SAVE_TEXT and check.whether read text is working.

Unable to create cluster, hangs on forming cluster
Hi all,
I am trying to create a 2 node cluster on two x64 Windows Server 2008 Enterprise edition servers. I am running the setup from the failover cluster MMC and it seems to run ok right up to the point where the snap-in says creating cluster. Then it seems to hang on "forming cluster" and a message pops up saying "The operation is taking longer than expected". A counter comes up and when it hits 2 minutes the wizard cancels and another message comes up "Unable to sucessfully cleanup".
The validation runs successfully before I start trying to create the cluster. The hardware involved is a HP EVA 6000, two Dell 2950's
I have included the report generated by the create cluster wizard below and the error from the event log on one of the machines (the error is the same on both machines).
Is there anything I can do to give me a better indication of what is happening, so I can resolve this issue or does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I have also since tried creating the cluster with the firewall and no success.
I have tried creating the node from the other cluster and this did not work either
I tried creating a cluster with just a single node and this did create a cluster. I could not join the other node and the network name resource did not come online either. The below is from the event logs.

I am 100% unable to create a Virtual Windows server 2012 failover cluster using two virtual fiber channel adapters to connect to the shared storage.
I've tried using GUI and powershell, I've tried adding all available storage, or not adding it, I've tried renaming the server and changing all the IP addresses....
To reproduce:
1. Create two identical Server 2012 virtual machines
(My Config: 4 CPU's, 4gb-8gb dynamic memory, 40gb HDD, two network cards (one for private, one for mgmt), two fiber cards to connect one to each vsan.)
2. Update both VM's to current windows updates
3. Add Failover Clustering role, Reboot, and try to create cluster.
Cluster passed all validation tests perfectly, but then it gets to "forming cluster" and times out =/
Any assistance would be greatly appreciate. -
Unable to create IDOCs after client copy
I'm unable to create IDOCs after a client copy. I receive a SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC or insert of duplicate rows ABAP dump.

The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLEDI1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
the database and that record already exists with the same key,
this results in a termination.
(With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error
situation, processing does not terminate, but SY-SUBRC is set to 4.)
How to correct the error
Use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert only if you are sure that none of
the records passed already exists in the database.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLEDI1" or "LEDI1F09"
"F09_IDOC_INSERT_WITH_NUMBER"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure

Looks like there is a 127-column limit on the number of report columns supported when using that wizard. Do you have more than that?

Need help with creating text anchors with tagged text.
Can anyone tell me how to determine the correct value for a "Hyperlink Dest Index" value?
I have a script which creates a tagged text file that specifies about about 280 pages of tables (thank heavens for autoflow) , and would like to add live links between different parts. I can create a text anchor and a hyperlink to it in InDesign. The tagged text definition for the link source is simple and in-line and exports and imports nicely as tagged text. However, I see that all the link destinations, aka text anchors, are all exported at the very end of the tagged text files as global definitions, and thier location iin the document is specified by the property HyperlinkDestIndex. However, I can't figure out how to set this value progammatically. I've spent over an hour exporting links, and it sure isn't anything as obvious as character index in the story.

Read RobertsRead, I'm not sure the following is going to help you. It works for external hyperlinks, but you want internal links, right? Anyway, it might give you some clues.
A funny thing: I was reviewing some script where I got links to work, and I spotted a tiny coding error. Links seemed to be defined by two separate identifiers: a "link name", which is what appears in Edit Hyperlink dialog, and a "Dest Key", which seems to be a simple increasing number. However, due to aformentioned coding error, the dest keys between the actual link and its definition were off by '1', so there was no way that ought to have matched. But it still worked! So "Dest Key" is a red herring ...
As far as I understand, it works like this (for hyperlinks): in your text, you have
HplName -- this is actually the 'title' that appears in the Hyperlink palette
HplDest -- this is the 'internal name'
DestKey. Hm. Perhaps you could omit this, per above obsvn.
CharStyleRef, the name of the auto-applied style
Hid -- seems to be always '0'
HplOff: the "offset" from this entire command to the start of the hyperlink, in InDesign characters.
HplLen: the "length" from the hyperlinked text, in InDesign characters.
and in the list of 'proper' definitions, those that appear at the very end of your file:
HplDestDfn -- the internal name again
DestKey -- see above
HplDestUrl -- finally! A real URL! (But you must escape lots of characters, such as the forward slash and colon.)
Hid -- again, always seems to be '0'.
Some of these items are perhaps optional, but experimenting with what may be left out only lead to frustration The Tagged Text guide is far from complete, as I'm sure you already knew.
As noted, some (or all) of the named items need a backslash escape for a few characters, but I can't find a definitive way to determine in advance what is 'good' and what is 'not good'.
The following script creates a Tagged Text file with a couple of working hyperlinks in it -- I don't know if this is of any help for your internal links.

I am trying to access a webservice(Location.jws) via a dataservice function(GetLocationResponse.ds)
The primary objective of the webservice is to post a request to GlobalLocate, a location provider and obtain the user's location co-ordinates.
On the test browser, I am able to test the webservice both by Test form and Text XML successfully.
I have created GetLocationResponse.ds as explained in Chp 9 of Sample tutorial 1.
However, when I execute the GetLocationResponse.ds in testview of DSP for the first time it works fine.

Is http://localhost:7001/Location/controls/Location.jws?WSDL= the correct URL?
Try putting http://localhost:7001/Location/controls/Location.jws?WSDL= in a browser and seeing if you get the wsdl back. -
2008 Failover cluster unable to create computer account
Hello,
I have created a 2008 R2 Failover cluster and I am trying to add a Fail over File server to this.
I get the dreaded
Cluster network name resource 'OfMaClusterFS' failed to create its associated computer object in domain 'xxx.domain' for the following reason: Unable to create computer account.
The text for the associated error code is: Access is denied.
Please work with your domain administrator to ensure that:
- The cluster identity 'OFMACLUSTER$' can create computer objects. By default all computer objects are created in the 'Computers' container; consult the domain administrator if this location has been changed.
- The quota for computer objects has not been reached.
- If there is an existing computer object, verify the Cluster Identity 'OFMACLUSTER$' has 'Full Control' permission to that computer object using the Active Directory Users and Computers tool.
I have created clusters frequently in the past, on my own Domains that I am a domain admin of. Now I am trying to make one on our larger corporate domain that I am not a domain admin of and get this error.
By default, domain users can not add computer accounts to our domain. I do however have an limited account that can add computers to the domain... but I have tried all the tricks I can think of to try and add the Network name to AD and no luck.#
I have tried running the cluster service with this account, but it is still trying to use the OFMACLUSTER$ identity to create the Network name. I have tried manually creating the network name using my limited account, but that doesn't work either,
same error. I don't have the ability to change permissions on the computer name I added for the network name to AD.
I have raised a ticket to our wintel team to try and get them to help, but they aren't exactly the most responsive bunch. I'm just wondering what the best way around this problem is if I am not a domain admin and I can't make the changes I need, or
what concise instructions I can give to the domain admins so that they can help me out without saying that it is a security breach etc.
I would appreciate any advice on this as it's now urgent and also something I will have to do in the future fairly regularly and don't want to get caught in the situation in the future.Hi jogdial,

Unable To Create Stylesheet Transformation

We have developed the following code on MII 12.0.3
/XMII/Illuminator?Server=XacuteConnector&Mode=Query&Transaction=Project/BLT&OutputParameter=*&MappedParamTarget.1=Material&Param.1=&MappedParamTarget.2=Phase&Param.2=&MappedParamTarget.3=ProcessOrder&Param.3=&Content-Type=text/xml&StyleSheet=/XMII/CM/Project/File.xsl
When these files are imported to MII 12.0.4, the page displays the XML file and displays a message "Unable To Create Stylesheet Transformation".
After this error the patch 12.0.5 was installed .. and still the same problem.
The error log is ...

I have asked the basis guy .. he told .. he doesn't see any errors.
