Unable to delete a custom report in Fabric Manager

Hi there,
If I create a Custom Report in Fabric Manager (3.2(3a)) I'm unable to Delete it aftwards :-(
Get an "Error on Page.":

Error: 'Delete560nClick' is undefined
Code: 0

Any ideas ? IE version I'm running is : 6.0.3790.3959

I haven't heard of this issue before. Have you tried running FM on another host or upgrading FM to see if it goes away?

Hi Belinda,
open the service message application in the Solman.
Open a service message, focus the needed fields and press F1 for technical details. Try finding the tables by using the where-used list.

Unable to delete saved Crystal reports in SAP BW Browser

Hi everyone ,
We are trying to test Integration of Crystal reports with SAP BW .
CR developer version installed - 12.0.3.900
SAP BW 7.0
I have 2 issues :
1) When I try to open SAP Query from CR SAP menu bar , somehow a blank SAP screen opens first and stays as long as I have CR developer open. I would then have to click on CR from the status line to begin using the software. The blank screen remains the way it is.
2) I am unable to delete Crystal reports which are saved in SAP BW Browser . I can delete any other BEX workbook in the same folder .
Am I missing any role authorizations to delete Crystal reports in BW Browser ?

Custom reports for servers managed by administrators

Hi,
I'm trying to create a report using the report builder but I need some helps. First I have added the attribute "Managedby" in my system discovery method.
Now i want to create a report that display the server name, the OS, and the managed by attribute. How can I do that ?

You can use FM RS_DELETE_PROGRAM in your program and pass all the programs
that are to be deleted into that FM using TADIR table..
Alternatively you can create a bdc for the same.

Unable to view custom report generated in Manage Content and Structure !!!

I am farm administrator and I have created report to view all checked out documents for site collection.
as below:
Title : All Checked Out Documents
Query : <Where><Geq><FieldRef Name="CheckoutUser" LookupId="TRUE"/><Value Type="int">0</Value></Geq></Where>
Issue:
When I see the report , I am able to see all checked out documents.However site admin and owner is unable to view this report.
They are getting following message:
There are no items to show in this view.
Would you please let me know what can be the root cause and how can I resolve it ?

Dipti,
This is by design and Unfortunately, no one else can see the documents because they have never been checked in. Even the site owner
can't see the documents. However Site collection admin can see everything.
Fortunately, there is an easy way to handle this situation. The site owner can go to the Document Library Settingspage and click on the link to Manage
checked out files.
From here, he can select the documents and click the Take Ownership of Selection link.

Error while deleting a customer table

When I try to delete a customer table which is saved as a local object I get an error stating that the table is still used in ABAP Dictionary. It seems that the customer table is still used in a customer program, but the program is already deleted! I deleted the program earlier and thus no longer exist in our system. I cannot find any trace of the program, but am unable to delete the customer table now. Any suggestions?

Program name would have been of the table maintenance generator and you deleted it manually.
It should have been deleted from TMG .
Your problem will be resolved if you will create Table maintenance of the database table and then delete it again.

Deleted Custom Report

Is there a way to recover a deleted custom report?

Without launching a session to my install I don't believe so. However, and proceed with caution on this. If nothing significant has changed configuration wise you might be able to find your last DB backup point and restore from there. But that comes with it's own set of complications since it's likely your Filestore wasn't backed up at the same time causing them to be out of sync causing your more frustration than simply rebuilding the original report from the beginning..
I believe it may be possible to export the reports in XML after creation, then if needed reimport the file to restore so to speak. But you would need to predefine the XML template and I think this is isolated to ZAM, ZCM 10. I know this is information after the fact, but if it works then you shouldn't encounter this situation again.

SCOM 2012 SP1 - Created a new group and unable to "find" newly created group to create custom report

I just created a new custom dynamic group based on database instances using a wildcard. The group "DBgroup" populates just fine, I can see the members when choosing to view them via the group properties. My issue is that when I'm going
into the reporting pane, choosing the MS generic report library, and then choosing custom configuration...I am unable to "FIND" my group that i just created?   My questions are is there a length of time in which this group will get populated
to the report server or do I have an issue? I see no errors in the logs on the report server or management server.   I have not seen this before and I'm unsure where to go from here. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Does the group pop-up in the list now? It may take hours for the new Computer Group could be used in the reports.
Besides, did you define a Group Scope for your user role?

RESCIS - Unable to select custom report from Selection Screen

Hi all,
we have developed a custom report for transaction "RESCIS-Evaluation of service charge settlement" but we have found that althought the report appears in selection screen field called "REPORT" it throws message RESCIS003 but the report is not shown.
If we doesn't fulfill report field in selection screen, the program shows a second screen where a couple of ALVGrids are shown allowing the user to select the report that will be displayed. Here we are able to select our custom report and the data in it is displayed.
We have analyzed the standard program that is executed via transaction RESCIS and we've found that the selection screen executes standard function RESC_GUI_ANYREPORTS_APPL that doesn't executes reports dinamically but statically. That means that SAP doesn't allows to execute custom reports directly from selection screen.
I think this is a SAP error but afert opening an OSS message SAP sais that is not an error but a bad configuration or lack of knowledge for customizing it.
Has anyone developed a custom report for RESCIS transaction?

Hm what exactly did you want to change? Normally it is in REFX cases you should not copy standard REPORTS. In your case with transaction RESCIS, I myself do not see any need to add any functionality in this report because it is only a sum of all lists from your service charge settlement. What else do you want to see there?
For displaying new fields in the separate lists maybe there is some BADI for it.

If a user saves their own version of an interactive report, is there any way for them to delete it?

Bug report: Unable to delete theme

Apex version 2.0, Oracle 9.2.0.6
I tried to delete a theme from my application as in

Would you like me to send you a full application export of one of my applications? That application has 6 themes (in addition to the current theme), that we were experimenting with. We finally decided on one of the themes and so I wanted to delete the 6 unused themes to reduce the size of the full app export file (because it is checked into VSS and stuff).
But, because of this bug, I am unable to delete any theme from this application.

hi,
i also used a different approach based on the requirement. this might be helpful to someone:
requirement: to make one of the parameter fields as display only. other users should not be allowed to edit this field & make it modifiable again.
_solution1:_ in the program, assign the parameter field to a modification id and make it protected (screen-input=0).
limitation: needs program modification incase there is a future requirement to change the parameter field value.
solution2: [1]create & save a variant and protect that parameter field. [2] go to SE93 & create a report transaction, put your saved variant in the 'start with variant'. [3] go to SU21 & create an authorization object for controlling the access to the variant. [4] ask your basis to attach this authorization object to the user id responsible for maintaining the variants for that program. [5] add a logic to check the authorization object in your program whenever the user tries to save or delete variants.
remarks: in production, make sure the authorization object & the update profile are transported. create also the same variant name as what you have defined in your report transaction code.
