Unable to delete a music "file" from my iPhone while syncing

I have a file that is appearing under my iPod cover flow area on my iPhone 4. It says it is a song from an album, but when it is touched and flips, it says "Unknown Unknown" on the reverse side. It will disappear if I remove everything from my music library in iTunes, but the second I add ANY album or song back to my iPhone, it reappears again. It does NOT appear under my music list anywhere in iTunes. How on earth can I delete this when I cannot find it anywhere?

How do I delete Purchased Music Files from my iPhone 5? Im running iOS 8.2

So I have attempted every which way to delete my music including going to General>Settings>Usage>Music Delete. Certain files remain on my phone and i cant delete them in any fashion. This seems like a bug because I have gone to the store to download the rest of the album then can finally swipe and delete. This is a long process and does not seem to be too user friendly. There has to be a better way to do this right?
Also, I have noticed that when plugging in iphone to my PC, I have problems uploading music....arrrrrrggggggg!!! Help Please.

Note that this article is only for music items downloaded from the iTunes Store. In order to remove items that you have synced into your device from your computer, you will need to connect back to the computer you used to add the music, uncheck the items you want removed, then sync to confirm the removal of these items. How can I delete all music files from my iPhone and start again?

I rebuilt my iTunes library. I was under the impression that the first post-rebuild sync would erase all media from my iPhone.
Under the Summary tab in iTunes, I checked Sync only checked songs and videos, and in my music list all songs are unchecked.
Under the Music tab in iTunes, I checked Sync Music, and because all my songs are unchecked it shows 0 songs.
However, after syncing, the status bar at the bottom of the Music tab still shows all my songs previously loaded as taking up memory, and when I open the Music app on my iPhone all those songs are still listed (although they are not playable).
How can I clear everything out and start from scratch?

You can use some third party software to copy the music from your old iPod back to computer first, and then import the music into iTunes and re-sync them to yournew iPod. Here is a guide about how to transfer iPod music to computer. Hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you need further help.

Yes, if they were purchased from iTunes. If they were CD's you copied to your iTunes library, then synced to your iPad, you may be forced to redownload the CDs again.
Connect your iPad to your computer via USB and with iTunes open wait for your iPad to recognized on the left side of the iTunes screen. Right click your iPad once and a dialog box will apear. Choose Transfer Purchases and the music apps, etc., you purchased will transfer to your iTunes library on your computer.

I had some music files loaded on my iPhone4S. In iTunes I converted all of the files from MP3 to AAC. When the iPhone synced, it added the AAC in addition to the MP3's! I think that the only fix would be to delete all of the files from the iPhone and resync. How would I do this?

You can delete the on your phone by going to Settings>General>Usage, wait for the apps list to open, tap Music, tap Edit, tap next to All Music. Or, you can delete them from iTunes by unchecking Sync Music on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing.

You cannot delete the Music app, it is part of the OS. You have either failed to find it on one of the Home screens, restricted it in Settings, or slid it into a folder. If you cannot find it at all, reset your desktop settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Previously my Iphone was synced with a cable and all my music files and apps were synced. Now that Icloud is synced wirelessly, only purchased music is synced back to the cloud. How do I get my other music files and apps exported to the cloud or to my computer?

You can delete songs directly from the iPhone.
Tap the Music tab in the Dock.
Now swipe to the left or right once. You should see a red delete button.

iTunes includes an option to transfer all iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iOS device, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store only.
To transfer the music from the flash drive that was purchased from the old Apple ID will require authorizing your new computer with that Apple ID with iTunes. The same for music or any other iTunes content on your iPhone that was purchased from the iTunes Store with that Apple ID.
With the iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
You will need to authorize your new computer with iTunes with each Apple ID that was used to purchase/download any iTunes content purchased from the iTunes Store on the iPhone with the Apple ID.
