Unable to delete a printfile using Bonjour - "Error Processing Command"

I recently installed Bonjour on a DELL Dimension E310 machine running Windows XP. It is connected to a small network of office computers. One of them is an Apple. The Apple computer has an HP color printer attached to it via a USB cord and it is shared on the network.
After installing Bonjour on the Windows XP machine, I tried to print a test page on the shared HP color printer, but it did not print.
When I looked at the pending documents on the shared HP color printer, turns out there is a print file that is stuck. It will not print and I can not delete it either. Comes back with an error "unable to process command" or "Error processing command".
After more investigation I've discovered the actual print file name is: "smbprn.00000011" and it was sent to the printer back in November of 2009.
How can I delete this print file???
I've uninstalled Bonjour and re-installed it to see if this would delete the print file, but it did not work.
I've done a hard reset on the HP color printer and rebooted the Apple computer it's connected to. The Apple computer can print to the HP color printer just fine, but the Windows XP machine can not.
I've also searched the entire disk drive on the Apple computer AND the Windows XP machine for the "smbprn.00000011" file, but it was not found. I even searched all the system and hidden file folders too with no luck.
How can I locate and delete this print file that is stuck ???
All suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Thank You,

Check the table name in your MRD process and make sure it's the right one. Also ensure the "checked" value of the checkbox is correct (i.e.: is the checkbox based on the correct key column from the report?).

    Try opening a terminal window (Applications >> Utilities). At the prompt, enter:
    >sudo SystemStarter restart CiscoVPN
    This will ask you for the admin password and it will restart the Cisco client service. That should fix it. This seems to be a known issue that will eventually be solved with some updates.

    I checked my Services console and Bonjour was started. I can also stop and start it without issue. I searched for these errors, but most of what I found was trouble getting the Bonjour service to start and as you can see, this is not my issue.
    I have also tried to update iTunes with Bonjour stopped and disabled and with my Eset NOD32 Antivirus software disabled, but neither of these steps made any difference. I do not have a third-party firewall on my PC, but I am using Windows firewall. I have also tried disabling the Windows firewall, but this made no difference.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    More information:
    Found this in the System log in Windows Event Viewer. There are many occurrences coinciding with the times I have been trying to update iTunes and/or Bonjour.

  • Unable to delete a journal using Group ID

    Hello guys,
    I have an imported journal that needs to be deleted. I used the delete journal window, issued the group id, the source and the request id and submitted the delete program but the journal could not be deleted. Though, the progrm completed normal.
    Any idea will help.

    In which table is the data still appearing?
    Headers?
    If so query the Journal from front end and delete it.

    Hi,
    As far as I know, Dism command doesn't support hot image backup, that to say, you do need to complete the image backup job at Windows PE enviroment.
    The contents of the link below also list the Dism command capture image requirement:

  • Yahoo Mail - Unable to delete and Cannot Get Mail errors

    A few days ago my Yahoo mail started acting up.
    I keep on getting "Unable to move message" errors when trying to delete mail. The proper folder is selected as the trash folder under settings. Sometimes message do delete however, but mostly they do not.
    I am also getting periodic Cannot Get Mail errors, but mostly I am able to receive mail.
    This leads me to believe that this might be a yahoo issue (I opened a support request with them also) I have deleted the account from my iPhone and recreated it several times, but the problem persist.
    Anybody else having similar issues with Yahoo mail ?
    Thanks
    PS I have Yahoo Mail Plus with POP access

    I opened a ticket with Yahoo, a day later they came back and advised that they made some changes to my account, but it still does not work.
    There is something strange about how Apple and Yahoo communicates, I think there is some exchange in the middle that is causing the problems. The reason for me saying this is the error I got periodically stating that "Cannot Get Mail, The user name or password for imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com is incorrect". Why imap.APPLE.mail.yahoo.com ???
    I did however setup a "Other" mail type account using the POP and SMTP settings from Yahoo and it works like a charm now, no more problems and I can now even use a different reply to e-mail address. Only issue might be that you no longer have the Yahoo side custom mail folders on the iPhone, but this is no big deal for me.
    For the incoming server I used pop.mail.yahoo.com with my Yahoo username and password (username without @yahoo.com)
    For outgoing, SMTP, Hostname I used smtp.mail.yahoo.com with my Yahoo username and password (username without @yahoo.com), SSL = ON, authentication = Password and server port 465
    Under advanced settings for outgoing mail server, Use SSL = ON , authentication = Password and server port 995.
    I am not claiming that I understand all of the above, but it works. Hopefully this may point you in the right direction.

  • Unable to delete a row using checkbox on report region

    hmm..this used to work, and unfortunatly this is code unfamiliar to me. We have a report region containing a list of records. The last column is a row selector, and is a check box. Several rows may be checked and then a delete button pressed.
    we receive the following error: ORA-20001: Error in multi row delete operation: row= 394878, ORA-01403: no data found,
    multi row operation failed
    however, the key that it references 394878 is not that of the record I had checked, rather it is the first record in the report.
    so...not able to delete, and it is trying to delete the wrong record. Any ideas. thanks

    Check the table name in your MRD process and make sure it's the right one. Also ensure the "checked" value of the checkbox is correct (i.e.: is the checkbox based on the correct key column from the report?).

    Unable to delete the interchageabilty groups.
    Error: Package does not exists
    Can you please guide me to delete the IC groups.

    KPN Murthy

    Hi,
    Some information regarding "package does not exsit".
    This type of error usually occurs if the planning package is created manually and assigned to the product at //mat1.So,delete the package in in PPDS Tab,and recheck the issue. For the affected product(s) I think you had manually created the package without a Heuristic assignment to it,which is not allowed.

  • Error processing regular expression:

    This is a strange one - I have 4 different arch installs and on one I get the following error using gyachi;
    Error processing regular expression: '[ء-ي]' -- Invalid collation character
    On all other installs it works fine - its just the one.  All other regex methods are accepted except foreign character tests.  I have tried about everything I can think of.  (it doesn't matter if I build it from scratch or use the package, the locale settings are the same, locale-gen completed without error locale returns the same info I have updated and refreshed the entire package database).

    Raised this with support. I needed to alter the regular expression to be:
    ([~_]text_io)|([~_]ole2)|([~_]tool_env)|([~_]host)
    This expression [~client_]text_io check that none of the individual characters c, l, i, e, n, t, _ exist before text_io rather then the string "client_"

    Well, by default SQL*Loader new line as end of record. Since your logical record in question consists of multiple lines each line is treated as a seaparate record. As a result, SQL*Loader finds a record with starting double quote without matching ending double quote. You must to use stream record format option in SQL*Loader by using
    INFILE whatever-your-infile-is "str X'xxxx'"where xxxx are charactercombination SQL*Loader should use as record separator in hexidecimal format.

    Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another install. Does it go through this time?

  • I Receive Error DF015 Unable to delete symlink "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/APE/3.4/adbeapeco

    Hi,
    I am having issues installing Extension Managger CC.  I receive the follwoing error when attempting to install Extension Manager:

    I don't know if the permissions on the file (and contents) are correct.  I noticed that they were pointing to a user that no longer exists.  I manually went in and made the owner and groups point to system, wheel and root and everyone, with all three having R+W access.
    Are these the correct permissions?  I was thinking of using Adobe CC Cleaner but I didn't see anything that mentioned Extension Manager.  What would the APE 3.4 be called?
    What yould you recommend?
    Thanks,
    Rocky

    Moving this discussion to the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum.
    Rocky you are correct to determine this is a file permission failure which is causing the error.  Please see Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html for information on how to adjust the file permissions.
    If you continue to fail with this update you may want to try applying the update in either a Root user account or a new administrator account to see if the same failure occurs.

  • Unable to delete WEB-INF\\lib\*.jar using ant

    Using ant to build struts.
    This is part of the build.xml for struts-example.war
    <property name="deploy.dir" value="${tomcat.home}/webapps"/>
    <target name="cleanWebApp">
    <delete file="${deploy.dir}/${war.file.name}" />
    <delete dir="${deploy.dir}/${war.file}" includeEmptyDirs="true" />
    </target>
    But when I try to build and reload it to tomcat, it gives me errors:

    Now I have to stop tomcat, delete it manually, and reinstall the war.
    How can I fix this problem?

    All the advice above seems to make sense, but .....
    - Tomcat shutdown,
    - with all java processes shutdown,
    - after a full reboot,
    - with antiJARLocking="true" set in every context.xml I can find:
    [delete] Deleting directory C:\Program Files\Apache Software

    But I CAN delete the jars using the normal Windows Explorer or from the DOS Command Prompt.
    And per the advice found here:
    http://saloon.javaranch.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=67&t=000574
    I've downloaded the Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com and no windows processes appear to have a handle on there directory.
    I think the solution is indeed to exclude jar files from <delete> target.

  • VDBench : "Unable to delete directory" Error isnt clear.

    Hey,
    is it possible to add some detailing to the error ?
    e.g If there ares till files left , then list them in the log.
    And also add the errno if possible
    04:52:02.159 Unable to delete directory: /mnt/machine/test-114/vdbench001/vdb1_1.dir/vdb2_2.dir/vdb3_2.dir/vdb4_1.dir/vdb5_1.dir/vdb6_2.dir/vdb7_2.dir/vdb8_2.dir
    04:52:02.159 04:52:02.159 Are there any files left that were not created by Vdbench?
    Thank you !

    Yes, I could list the files that are left, if any, but the 'ls' command should do that nicely for you.
    As far as 'errno', since the directory delete is done using java code, 'errno' is not available.
    You may have to use tools like 'predictive tracing' available on Solaris Dtrace to find out why/where/what about the failed delete.
