Unable to delete JCA resource adapters

Hi All,
I am unable to delete resource adapter. Please help
Here is the error "Deleting JCA Connection Factory: InboundRA_QN1_100 failed due to: Removing or adding connection definition "InboundRA_QN1_100" failed because "It is not allowed to remove the last connection definition.""

Hello Dheeraj,
Check the kba 1942002 Deleting JCA Connection Factory fails with "it is not allowed to

  • JCA Resource Adapters

    Hi
I want to use JCA to integrate with Microfocus Cobol. I have the Microfocus resource adapter (mfcobol-notx.rar).
I want to embed this in an application, the JDeveloper help says add the rar to the project and then include the rar in the ear.
I have done this but everytime I edit the EAR deployment profile and tick the rar to include it, it is not included and next time I look the rar is not selected anymore.

  • Problems polling two mailboxes using JCA 1.5 - inbound resource adapters.

    Hello,
I have a requirement to poll two or more mailboxes from my application for unread messages using inbound resource adapters.
Whilst I'm successful in implementing the above for a single mailbox, I 'm facing problems when tried for 2.
Here is a snippet of code that worked for single mailbox.

sometimes it picks up all old files from FTP directoryIf it is picking up the same files, probably it is not being able to calculate the modification dates.
That can be a configuration problem, take a look at this:

  • Unable to delete newly CIFed resources

    Dear All
We CIFed few workcenters which by mistake came as multimixed resources (instead of single mix). Now we are try to delete them using /SAPAPO/RES01 (change mode). As the first step, we have to remove them from active version first. When we try to remove them from active version and model i.e. 000, we get the message : u201CSystem error: Error occurred in the COM viewu201D Message no. /SAPAPO/DMRES051. (information message) and the resources are not deleted from the model.
We took the another path : Tried to delete them using supply chain engineer. In this case we get the message " Live cache error during check re dependent objects".
Since these are newly CIfed objects, we don't have any PPMs or any orders for them in APO. We are wondering:
    1. What are re-dependent objects and how come system is checking for them?
    2. Is there any way to delete these resources?
We don't face the same problem in QA system.
    Regards
    DG

    Dear Vijay \ Virendra
We don't have any PPMs or orders on these resources. Also this error is coming during their deletion from the model.
We tried OM16. there are no dependent objects of any type (last button - branch). Also when we compare OM16 output for QA (where we can delete them) and production (where we are not able to delete them), we don't find any difference (except the internal resource name etc).
In Fact we tried one exercise where we created a new resource (from a newly CIFed resource), assigned it to 000 and tried to deassign it (Without saving it yet), we got the same error. however if we repeat the same steps in QA, it get deassigned from model easily.

  • BINDING.JCA-12510 JCA Resource Adapter location error in SOA 11g Suite

    Hi,
I am just testing one simple SOA Application in SOA 11g Suite. Created a SOA Composite Application with one DB Adapter at designtime all worked fine with DB Adapter. But when I deploy the Application on the server I get the following error:
The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: BINDING.JCA-12510 JCA Resource Adapter location error. Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/> The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/DB/soademoDatabase'. The reason for this is most likely that either 1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or 2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/DB/soademoDatabase. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR). Please correct this and then restart the Application Server ".Do I need to jndi-name in weblogic-ra.xml if so what is the exact location. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

I did but still not able to connect now getting the following error. I went to the Weblogic Console, clicked on deployments, selected DBAdapter, clicked on configuration ,
and then I don't see outbound configurations instead it shows Outbound Connection Pools, Under Outbound Connection Pools tab I clicked on New and it asked to select Outbound Connection Group I selected the one that was already there (with JNDI eis/DB/SOADemo) and then created my JNDI which was added to the default Outbound Connection Group and in the end it asked to save the Plan.xml which I saved it under a new directory created under soa directory. But still am not able to connect.
How do I create my own Connection Group as don't want to use the defualt one out there.
After creating the JNDI Name it asks for saving the Plan.xml file. Where exactly we save this file. Are there any standards.
Why can't I update any properties when I click on the new JNDI name it takes to Settings for javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory --> Outbound Connection Properties but there I see a save buttn but I can't make any changes.
BINDING.JCA-12563 Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'getCreditValidationSelect' failed due to: Could not create/access the TopLink Session. This session is used to connect to the datastore. Caused by javax.resource.spi.InvalidPropertyException: Missing Property Exception. Missing Property: [DBManagedConnectionFactory.userName]. You may have set a property (in _db.jca) which requires another property to be set also. Make sure the property is set in the interaction (activation) spec by editing its definition in _db.jca. . ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution. Is there any documentation that lists all these steps as I couldn't find it anywhere. The guide only talks abou DBAdapter but how to configure etc can't find any info. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Within this commonfiles\apple folder, there is only one folder, labeled "Internet Services." Within this folder, there are 6 folders, labeled:
    APLZOD.resources
    BookmarkDAV_client.resources
    CoreDAV.resources
    iCloud.resources
    iCloudServices.resources
    ShellStreams.resources
Within all but CoreDAV and BookmarkDAV_client, there are multiple different folders, all labeled starting with a two letter (acronym I believe, for different languages) then .lproj (for example, a folder is labeled "ar.lproj".
In each of the folders of APLZOD.resources, there is a file labeled "APLZODlocalized.dll."
In all of the folders containing the multiple .lproj folders, there are likewise "name"localized.dll files contained.
In the BookmarkDAV_client and Core DAV folders, they each contain only one file, "Info.plist"
I attempted to delete all of these files, and still, the FileAssassin could not delete them. I unlocked one of them for instance, and I tried to delete the file myself (thru windows explorer and just clicking delete), and I still had the same issue of coming eventually to the window requesting me to "try again" to have permission.
What can I do?? I'd like to avoid Unlocker, but if it really is a reliable and SAFE program, and someone knows a SAFE place to download it from, I'd appreciate it very much so!!
    thanks!!

  • I cannot fully uninstall iTunes because I am unable to delete the commonfiles\apple folder

I received error 42404 after updating to itunes 11, and have attempted to follow the instructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925. However, my Vista will not let me delete the commonfiles\apple folder. How can I delete it?
The day of iTunes 11's release, I updated my iTunes, then opened up the prgm to take a look at it. I was immediately brought to the attention that the program didn't install correctly (with error 42404), so I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, with the same error coming up. I continued to use iTunes and see if i could ignore the issue, however I discovered I was unable to log into my itunes acount on the store.
So I followed the isntructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 correctly, deleted the remaining files/folders, except I am still unable to delete the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\ folder. I attempt to delete it, it asks me for permission to do so, I say continue, and even after I give it permission to delete the folder, it instantly says to me, "You need permission to perform this action," and it gives me the options to cancel or try again (which immediately brings this same window up again asking me to try again).
I've done plenty of research for the past two days, from attempting to delete the individual files within this folder via the Command Prompt, using Safe Mode, and many other options, yet nothing works. I've seen many forums advise using a program called "Unlocker," however, anyone googling the program will find that it is offered from a plethora of various sites, and I honestly dont trust programs from these sites.
Is there ANYTHING anyone knows to do for an issue like this? All I need is that one folder deleted, and all my problems are gone!

  • JCA Resource Adapter Deployment in OAS 10.1.2

    Hi,
I have installed the Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) (j2ee & web cache) and I want to know how I can deploy a JCA Resource Adapter. Until now I have work with Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0) and this version has a section in the administration web (applications->Standalone Resource Adapters) where I can deploy the RA.
But now, I have to deploy a Resource adapter in OAS 10.1.2 and I don't know how to do it. Any help?
    Thanks,
    Miquel

Is there any error or warning message in WLS server log related to your adapter? WLS may ignore some properties if found non-fundamental error.

  • JCA resource adapter

    Hi,
I haven't been able to access enterprise-connector group so I'll post my
    question here.
Does iPlanet support JCA and can we use resource adapters to connect to SAP
as stated on http://java.sun.com/j2ee/connector/products.html ? If we can
which version of iPlanet is required ?
Does anybody have suggestions, ideas regarding implementation ?
    Thank you,
    Dragan Zutic
    EDS - Telecom New Zealand

Are you working on a decentral AE? Does the channel point to the correct AE? Does the cache refresh work?
What do you means, with having no effect: Is the channel not visible to the adapter or does it work with previous values?

  • Resource Adapters for email drivers...

    All,
I am going through JCA architecture and Fusion middleware "Oracle Integration Adapter". My requirement is to write an email driver using resource adapter.
Can I use "Oracle Integration Adapter" directly with few parameter settings or do I need to develop a new resource adapter for my requirement ?...
Please let me know the details. TIA...

This question falls outside of JMS-land. Perhaps you can try the EJB newsgroup?
Just in case your trying to use an adapter to receive JMS messages: There's no need to use resource adapters for WebLogic MDBs driven by JMS destinations.

  • Unable to delete file from trash because it's "in use" not locked.

I'm unable to delete a file from trash. I keep getting the following message: "The operation can’t be completed because the item is in use."  I've confirmed the file isn't locked and I've tried renaming it but still no luck. I'm running OSX 10.8.4. Any thoughts?

Check the 'More Like This' discussions on the right hand column.  I suspect you may find the answer there.

Thanks. I know they are not the same thing. A package cannot be deleted if it contains one or more applets.
I tried to delete by typing in the applet AID first, but it just doesn't work. And of course it doesn't work for package AID.
Both the package and applet AID are generated in JBuilder, which looks like this, package AID(6D 79 70 61 63 6B 61 67 31),
    applet AID(6D 79 70 61 63 30 30 30 31),
    instance AID(6D 79 70 61 63 30 30 30 31)
I've tried those three AIDs, it's not working.
    Thanks.

  • Unable to delete Address Book File

I am unable to delete nor copy over an Address Book file that I have on an external HD connected via Airport Extreme. When I connect the HD directly to my Macbook Pro, I am able to delete the file - but not via Airport Extreme. When I attempt to delete the file, I get a message from Trash as follows: The operation cannot be completed because the item "Metadata" is in use. Same message when I attempt to replace the file with a new file. In other words, I am unable to use AE to transfer my Address Book file to my external HD, unless I change the name of the file. What is going on here?

    Hello Bob.
You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

    APACHE Tomcat 5.5.20
    2 clustered servers
FRS located on SAN Disk Drive connected to primary server (Winchester1)
    We use WebIntelligence exclusivly.
We are receiving the following error in our event log on our clustered server:
    Source: BusinessObjects_CMS
    Category: General
    Type: Warning
    Event ID: 33018
    Computer: Winchester2
Unable to delete file from the file repository. Make sure a File Repository Server is running and registered and enabled. Details : Failed to connect to the File Repository Server output. Make sure the server is up and running.
We have verified the FRS is running and we are able to connect to it from our clustered server (Winchester2).  The security settings are set to full control for the admin group and the users have Read/Write access to the file store folders.  The errors are filling up our event logs and causing issues with the servers.  this appears to be happening each morning and the file it is trying to delete is an .xls file.
We have a ticket open with SAP Support but they are just as baffled as we are and keep sending us from one group to another and tell us they need to look at it on thier end and they will get back to us.
Has anyone had this happen on their system?

Hi Richard, did you ever get this issue resolved?  We are having a similar issue on XI R3 SP4 using NAS/CIFS shares for our File Stores.  We see this issue mainly after our servers are patched and a full environment restart is initiated.  Like you, our event logs fill up with so many error messages I cannot pinpoint exactly when the issue starts happening.
Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Unable to delete a file

I'm unable to delete a a file from the filesystem.
    String fileName = "dummy.xml"
boolean delete = (new File(fileName)).delete();It's not deleting this file from the filesystem.

Can anything else delete that file? Is the fileopen?
I don't know what you mean by can anything else
delete the file.I mean can you delete the file from the command line, a window, whatever. Is it just Java's delete that is having this problem or is it the file system?
No this is not opened/or use.How do you know?
DO I have to specify a path for this. Certainly. How else would Java know which file to delete?
If yes, please read on ........
the path where this xml file resides could by
anywhere in the file system. If it is how do I access
it since there is no specific location (it is left to
the user's choise to save the file anywhere he
    wants)Keep the user's choice.
