Unable to Delete Previous Update/Wireless Upgrades Hangs

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310 and recently upgrade the OS to 4.5. I read in the manual that the old OS is kept on the BB for 30 days but can be deleted by going to Options - Advanced - Wireless Upgrades. However, when I do that it just says Retrieving Upgrades and never does anything. Hitting the menu key does nothing either. Any advice? Thanks.

I've never heard of that... If you are pleased with the new upgrade, don't worry about the old.
I don't believe it is still on your device.

yeah. you can delete them. keep the most recent one though
even after downloading a new one. just in case. the software

Unable to install Office updates after upgrading 8.0 to 8.1

I have a Windows PC that was upgraded from 8.0 to 8.1 last week. Ever since then there are 39 Office 2013 updates, including SP1, that will not install no matter what I do. The error listed is the dreaded 0x80070643. No Office older than 2013 is installed.
I've tried so far:
1. Online repair of Office
2. Uninstall/reinstall of Office
3. Windows Update repair x2
4. DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
5. Reset Windows Update
6. .NET repair (removal/reinstall)
There are probably a couple more things I did but I didn't get them written down. I've run out of ideas. Does anyone have any idea on how to get this fixed?

As it turned out, in addition to Office 2013 Home & Business that I had installed, Office 2013 Pro Plus somehow existed on the computer though the only visible sign of it was in Programs and Features. It wasn't in the Start Menu or in Program
Files. So how it was on there or why it only showed in Programs and Features I don't know, but it was definitely messing up Windows Updates.

Laserjet P1102w - unable to connect and update wireless settings

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I have a laserjet P1102w, which was working beautifully on my wireless home network. I recently changed the network configuration and router. I need to update my IP address in the printer settings.
I am running on Windows 7, and when I connect to the printer with a USB cable, the computer recognizes the printer but it does not appear in the control panel. I have updated all the software (and flash) successfully on the printer, and still nothing.
I tried this on 3 different computers, still the auto-run software does not appear, nor am I able to access the printer software. I've changed the cable and nothing.... Thanks for your suggestions.

Unable to delete previously watched movies in Downloads

I currently have 9 previously watched movies in the Downloads section of my iTunes app that no matter what I do can't be deleted. They are taking up so much of my iPad's memory that I can no longer download any apps or movies. Please help!!

Ah, I found the bug.
I had to go in and manually change the sync options for the Nano under the Devices > Movies tab.

Unable to delete and update an ms access db

I am presently working on a project in dreamweaver 8 which is
connected to an ms access db. I am completely new to both
applications but i have been able to connect to my database and
display information. As it is now i have both a delete button and
an edit button in a dynamic table which i created. How do i make
these buttons work. When the user clicks delete a message should
come up confirming the deletion. If anyone can assist me it will be
greatly appreciated. I have searched the internet for blocks of
code but cannot interpret the codes due to my lack of programming

I have the same problem. It's showing old podcasts that are available for download and I already watched and I don't want to see them again and I don't want them listed in my iTunes. This latest upgrade is a piece of junk so far. It destroyed my itunes podcast listing on my Windows Machine. I have no intentions of upgrading to iOS7 or my Mac until I hear that things are fixed.

Specifically this section:
To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.
To delete Camera Roll photos and videos
There are two methods to delete items from the Camera Roll:
Import the Camera Roll to your computer, choosing to delete items after import.
or
Delete photos and videos from your device manually. Open the Photos application, open the Camera Roll, tap the Action button, tap each photo to select it, and tap the Delete button.
Note: For photos and videos you want to save for later, import them to your computer before deleting them from the Camera Roll.

If you didn't already do so, try uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components (not just iTunes and AMDS), then reinstall iTunes, as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925. Follow the article and uninstall them in the order indicated.

Captivate 5 New Update - Unable to delete slides

I just did an automatic updated my Captivate 5 version (Win 7 IE8) and for some reason - when I go to delete a slide
Captivate just hangs up - (I performed this function 10 times yesterday)
Captivate5.0.1.624
When I hit delete - I get the pop up message asking me to confirm that I want to delete selected slides
none of the buttons OK/Cancel/ Don't ask me again are functioning. I have to hit escape to close.
Anyone got any ideas?

If you just did the update, you may need to blow away your Captivate 5 Preferences folder as well to get a clean start again.
Locations are:
- on Xp: C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Captivate 5
- on Vista/Win7:C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Captivate 5
- on MAC: /Users/<USER NAME>/Library/Preferences/
I'm assuming you know how to Show Hidden Files and Folders on your system so that you can see the Application Data folder.
Just delete the whole Captivate 5 folder at the locations shown above and Cp will recreate it again on next start up.
See if that sorts out the issues.

the fastest way is to call applecare and they can remove her number from iMessage/facetime.

Updating versus upgrading - two different animals. Updates need the software they are updating. Upgrades of Adobe products do not need the precedent versions.
Upgraded versions are better off removed before installing the upgrades. There are occasions where different versions share some file where deleting an older version after installing the newer one can remove a needed file.

You need to delete some files from your computer's c drive. Do not forget to empty the recycle bin.
