Unable to Disable Delete row option in FBCJ tcode

Hello Sir/Madam,
I am giving authorizations to users, and I have given auth of FBCJ t-code to a user with create/generate and park activity codes, but I am surprised to see that delete row option is by default working in the tcode, which needs to be disabled or blocked or hidden. Kindly suggest if anything needs to be done in configuration, or from basis side. I havent given 06 i.e delete access to this user.

Please refer the below link and SAP notes which might help in solving the issue. If disabling the delete option does work with standard authorization, then please take help of your ABAPER's and check if the same can be disabled using user exits.

When you are logged in as both a Developer and End User, you will ALWAYS see the Save button, even if it is disabled. This is so that you can save the Defaults for an IR. Thus, if you click on the save option, you should only see one item - Save Report Defaults. You will not be able to save a custom report.
Your end-users are not logged in as developers, and thus, won't see any save icon at all. In fact - if you log out of APEX and run just your application, neither will you.

There is no out of the box solution to disable row deleting function. The alternative can be used would be approval procedure. If the documents are subject to approval, all rows will be locked from any changes.

I'm hoping that someone can please help me troubleshoot an issue I'm having with a table in my form. It has a menu associated with each row that allows you to add, delete, reset, etc. rows. The name of the table on the form is the Purchase Items table. It's the first table on the form.
Here are the steps to recreate the issue:
1. Create 3 rows in the table
2. Click the menu ("X") button associated with the first row.
3. Select "Delete this row". Nothing happens.
4. Click the menu ("X") button associated with the first row.
5. Select "Delete this row" again. Nothing happens.
6. Click the menu ("X") button associated with the first row. You'll notice that the "Delete this row" option is greyed out.
My best guess that the rows are being deleted in the background which would explain that if I have 3 rows, and "delete" 2, that my delete option is then greyed out because I believe there is logic in there such that if there is only 1 row then grey out the option to delete rows. I was planning to attach the file as I have seen others do but don't see the option. I'm happy to provide the file via email if that's easier. Thank you in advance!

The instance manager methods were being given the wrong index of the row to work with. They need to be passed the index for the row that the button you are pressing is in (of course). Instead they were given some v8b index, which I honestly cannot decipher as to what that number possibly means. (Math.round((v3-v4)*v6........)???
Anyways, I fixed it up and also changed some of the logic in the sub menu to determine what's greyed out.
I like that feature! Might even show it to a client!

Expand Target System Adapters > FM11x-G5-E > Options > FM11X-G5-ELoadOptMethodVal > Double-click to open the option properties page
Click on "Control Properties" and you will see the Value List:
Remove the "0-Replace" option from the list and click OK

Restricting 'Delete Row' in Documentation tabs of Projects

Hello,
Is it possible to restrict the Authorization to 'Delete Row' option in the Project documentation/ General documentation ? We tried Authorization trace and no Authorization object checks are hit during the 'Delete Row' action.
Has anybody achieved this before?
Also is it possible to restrict the UPLOAD file option but not the Check in/Check out option? It looks like the Value '60' in S_IWB controls both and not checked separately.

Matrix Delete Row

Good Afternoon
Experts:
After some review of handling the updating of a Matrix with the help of Neftali, I had another thought on the topic. The actual update of a row is no problem. However, the delete of a row presents a bit of a quandry. While it can be done, this way be seems ok:
Scenario1:
1)Add a delete button to the screen
2)Click on the grey column on the left of the Matrix.
3)The Matrix row gets highlighted and the Delete button is enabled
4)Hit the button to delete the row and then in code behind the button
go delete the record from the table
**Problem is I cannot figure out how to get the whole row to highlight when I click
in the leftmost grey column in the Matrix
Scenario2:
1)I enabled the delete row right for the Matrix with MatReqForm.EnableMenu("1293", True)
2)Using the MenuEvent, I can trap the event and ask the user if the DELETE is for sure using a message box. However, the data is already gone from the Matrix at this point.
So, I think highlighting the whole row and hitting a delete button may work better...unless I am missing something in Scenario2.
Thoughts...questions?

Hi Ed,
You could trap the right-click event and add your own Delete Row option to the menu (there's an example of how to use the right-click event in the SDK samples). If it's your own menu option then you have full control on when the row is deleted so you can prompt the user to confirm the deletion and only delete after they say yes. My own preference would be a right-click menu option but a button is another good option.
Highlighting a row is easy as SBO does it all for you. It's just a case of setting the correct value to the SelectionMode property of the matrix (setting it to 1 will allow the user to select multiple rows, 2 and they can select only a single row).

Replicate deleted rows through Archiver

Hi all
I'm trying to replicate deleted rows from a custom UCM table, but when a record is deleted from the source table, the deleted record doesn't get replicated to the target table through Archiver.
The source archive is setup to export and transfer automatically. Also, the "replicate deleted rows" option is ticked on the source archive and the recommended Create and Modify time stamp columns are selected.
I'm deleting the records through the Configuration Manager applet after creating a view on the table.
I can see that new rows (the deleted record) are added into the "DeletedRows" table but they don't get deleted on the target instance. Am I missing anything else?

I have done other tests and can see that there is first of all a problem with the strSQL = strSQL & " AND PeriodKey = '" & dtePerKey & "'"
in the where clause.
If I execute this SQL request in SQL Developer, I have a non-zero number in the TMP table :
INSERT INTO TMP (SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tDataSeg3 WHERE PartitionKey='749' AND CatKey = '12' AND PeriodKey = to_date('30/04/10'))If I execute the same request through FDM, I have 0 in the TMP table.

Database, Dataset, Table Adaptors Error "Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand when passed DataRow collection with deleted row"

Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express.
I am new to Visual Basic programing and i am trying to understand the relationships between Datasets, database, table Adaptors. I have to following code that is is giving me the following error" Unable to load, Update requires a valid DeleteCommand
when passed DataRow collection with deleted rows".
I can track the error and its located in "OffsetTableTableAdapter.Update(MaterionOffsetDataSet.OffsetTable)" code. What am i missing?
It seems that i can delete the data on the DataGridView Table and it only displays the correct data. but my database is not updating, even though the data grid displays differently.I can determine this because, when i save the offset database, i have all
the previous uploads and all the rows that i wanted to delete are still there.
My final goal is to be able to import offset data from a CSV file, save this data on the pc, send a copy of this data to a NuermicUpDown so the customer can modify certain numbers. From here they download all the date to a controller. IF the customer
needs to modify the imported data, they can go to a tab with a data grid view and modify the table. They will also have to option to save the modified data into a csv file.
Im not sure if i am making this overcomplicated or if there is a easier way to program this.

This error usually shows that you do not initialize the
DeleteCommand object, you could check this
article to see if you get a workaround.

If you are working CSV file, you could use OleDB to read it which would treat the CSV file as a Table:

Unable to delete rows from Target.

Hello everyone,
I am unable to delete rows from target data store. Here is what I have done.
Source Oracle 10g - staging 11g - Target Oracle 11g
I have implemented consistent set CDC on data model in staging and added 2 tables to CDC and turned on the journals . Both tables A and B are joined together via Column E (primary key of table A). Table A is the master table(has foreign key). Table B is child table. Target column consists of all the columns of both table A and B.
Following is what I am able to do and not to do
ABLE TO DO. If data is inserted into both or any of journalized tables I can successfully load the same in target by performing following steps. 1. Extend the consistency window at model level. Lock subscriber. Run the interface with any source table marked as Journalized data only. Unlock subscriber and purge journal.
ABLE TO DO. If data is updated in any of the journalized table, along with the steps mentioned above I can execute two interfaces. In one Interface table A marked as journalized data only Joined with table B and in second interface table B marked as Journalized data only joined to table a.
NOT ABLE TO DO If data is deleted from one or both tables it shows up as journalized data in JV$D<tablename> marked as D with date and subscriber name but when i run the interface by extending the window , locking subscriber executing both interfaces, unlock subscriber purge journals. no change takes place is Target. After unlocking subscriber step, journalized data gets removed from JV$D view. Please let me know what I am doing wrong here. How can rows delted from source can also be deleted from TARGET?
NOTE : In the flow table SYNC_JRNL_DELETES is YES
In moel under jounalized table tab Table have following order Table A folloed by Table B

If so then I repeat my self :-) Why not to connecting to the SQL server directly?
* even if you need information from several databases (for example ACCESS + SQL Server), in most cases, it is much better to connect directly and get each information to the app. Then in your app you can combine the information and analyse it

Automatic deletion of temp files and Disabling copy to option of originals in DMS

Dear DMS Experts,
I have 3 requirements, I have searched the net ,but I am still clueless as to how to do it.
1) The temporary files created in C;\temp ( or the path we have given in dc20 ) has to be deleted after viewing the documents because of security reasons.
I heard about enabling the OLE2 option in table TDWX, but I am not sure .
2) The 'copy to' option of originals has to be disabled in display mode ( CV03N ). Adding further, the 'save as' and 'print option' for MS Office applications ( word, excel ) has to be disabled due to security reasons( I tried with both office integration and %AUTO% )
3) In product browser view ( using folder structure in CV01N ), I need the users to have 'delete link as ' option disabled as they are not supposed to delete the folders created by admin ( Deleting means deleting from the structure and not from the system) . For this, I have given authorization object for bill of materials for the users and disabled 'delete' checkbox as well as 'Delete from database' checkbox . But still, I am able to delete the folders from the structure.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am still in the dark regarding Q2 and Q3 . Regarding Q2, I tried disabling the check out options and also try opening it in SAP Script or smartform by populating the entries in the originals to the smartform. But still download option is possible. Hence I have raised to SAP service market place.
Regarding Q3 , I am trying to use custom authorization object .

Delete Row (1293) always disabled with matrix

I have a maxtrix whose menu-item 'Delete Row' (menu uid 1293) is always
disabled, even though its 'AllowRowDelete'-property is set to 'true'.
What could be the problem here ?
(I have several other matrixes on which it just works fine,
only on this one matrix, I cannot get it to work. Very strange).

but you have to program the remove line function by yourself
