Unable to disable the "Enable Administration Port" (Weblogic 12.1.1.0)

Hi,
I have a Weblogic server installation from which the field "Enable Administration Port" has been checked (Probably the Administration Port is now 9002, but I cannot check it).
As a consequence I am unable to access the Console.
When I try to access the Console through the 7001 port, I get the message:
Console/Management requests or requests with <require-admin-traffic> specified to 'true' can only be made through an administration channel.
Does someone know how to disable the "Enable Administration Port"? Maybe with WSLT?

Disabling the audio headphone port?

I broke a headphone jack off in the audio output port and I can't get it out (even with the toothpick / super glue trick). I'd like to disable headphone detection for a Macbook Pro os 10.8.4 so that I can play audio on the internal speakers. With older versions of Mac OS X, there was an
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist one could delete, but in 10.8.4 that file isn't there (hidden files visible). Is there a similar solution for 10.8.4?

I'm not aware of any such kluge but other around here probably are.
I have, however, fixed this problem with a tiny fish hook straightened out and used it to pierce the inner core of the headphone jack. The barb prevents it slipping out upon withdrawal.

Unable to start the Extend an existing Weblogic domain option

Hi group,
I am trying to install and configure Java Agent for ODI and on this procedure we need to install and configure a Weblogic domain.
I have installed Weblogic 11g R1 (10.3.6), but when I try to choose the option "Extend an existing Weblogic domain option" in the screen, it just hangs.
I have tried with two different Java versions (jdk1.6.0_45 and jdk1.7.0_79) with no success.
Is there any logfile of Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard where I can see why it is just hanging?
Any advice or help, will be really appreciated.

where the WLS Installation is located, i.e. locally or on a remote (virtual) machine?
A few directions that might help you solve the issue:
1. check if your WLS server environment is supported, i.e. are you compliant with the certification matrix of WLS 10.3.6?
2. check if you conform to the system requirements of your OS hosting WLS. It is of great importance if it is *nix based (libraries, kernel parameters)
3. try to run the configuration wizard in console mode. That approach is documented here - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/web.1111/e14140/console_mode.htm#WLDCW235
4. if you are installing remotely and using X server, that might cause issues as well.

Unable to disable an enable photo ipod

I was using at griffin itrip and my ipod froze. I shut it down via pressing select and menu at the same time.
Now i have an empty folder. I tried to restore my ipod but am able to do so.. I downloaded the most current updator. The updator does not mount my ipod. I fear because i enable the ipod I can't restore the setting.
What can i do?

By default, SQL*Loader index entries are put into a separate, temporary storage area and merged with the original index at the end of the load. This method achieves better performance and produces an optimal index, but it requires extra storage space. During the merge, the original index, the new index, and the space for new entries all simultaneously occupy storage space.
That being said, it appears that SQL*Loader does what you are trying to do any, which is defer index entries to the end of the load. If you MUST speed up load performance, have a look at DIRECT loads or NOLOGGING. Either of these will speed up a load considerably.

Unable to create the bluetooth virtual COM port

Hi all
I install BS from Toshiba and it seems ok. Bt ir desn´t work. I see all the drivers installed, system devices, etc. No Toshiba BT ports can be seen. Local com ports only show modem port. Try to create a virtual port but get a message "unable to create a bluetooh virtual port" I have a satellite m100-145. Can anyone help on this ?

I decide to reinstall windows and all software. Now it works.
The error was due to the fact that if you have BS from Microsoft (called bluetooth monitor) and you install the BS from Toshiba after that, even if you remove the BS from MS, the BS from Tos is unable to create the virtual com ports (except modem).
I try with the latest version of BS and the problem was not solved. So if there is a previous installation of BS fom MS the BS from Tos get the message of "unable to create the bluetooth virtual com port".
Now i fixed reinstalling SO from beginning.

Enable Ethernet port on VMS

I wish Verizon would Enable the Enable Ethernet port on the VMS. I Have coax and ethernet in 2 rooms and ethernet in all rooms the 2 Clients are connect ethernet olny and i would like toi switch to a top of the line router but i need take the fios router out of the picture. the olny way it would be benafical to me if i could have my setup like this
VMS via ethernet for network and coax for tv
ont --> Non-Fios Router ---> Clients via eathernet
other devices (Computers via Ethernet and WiFi)
current setup
VMS via coax
ont ---> Fios router ---> Clients via ethernet
other devices (Computers via Ethernet and WiFi)

I would add the settop boxes to the DMZ on my non-fios router so there is no blocked ports between the ont and the settop boxa

leave the tv single the way it is over the coax but allow the data to be sent over ethernet instead of moca(coax). so the the QAM would still be on the coax but the img guide data, on damand data and other data for the box to go over ethernet. the IPC1100 boxes would be ethernet olny as i have the set up now
VMS would have coax and ethernet hoked up to it and client boxes have ethernet olny
then there world be no need for the verizon router
over all setup would look like this
instead of the current setup like this
i have 2-3 cat6 cables in each room going through the walls the go back to the Master bedroom closet

Disable the USB drive usage of iPod nano

Hello,
I am using iPod Nano 4G, 8GB.
I disabled the "Enable disk usage" option in iTunes, also the the manual mode is disabled. I dont want my iPod to be detected as a Mass Storage Device.
But even after these, whenever I am connecting my iPod to my machine, it is detecting as a USB Disk!
Can anyone tell me how can I disable my iPod using as a USB drive?

Language: Sets the language for VoiceOver. It should match the language set for iPod nano.

Quickly activating accessibility features
You can set iPod nano to switch Invert Colors or VoiceOver off and on when you press the Home button three times. This makes it easier to share iPod nano with another person who doesn’t need the same features.

Disable the GATHER_STATS_JOB

Disabling the LMS intialization preloader

We would like to publish some content as SCORM for use in Moodle. We are using Captivate 5.5 and seem to be unable to disable the preloader animation. We can remove the LMS Initialization Text in Publish Settings . . .but not the animation. Can anybody advise on how to do this? Thanks.

I would consider this a BUG, not a feature.
I understand why it was implemented. We need to, at a minimum, edit the message.

Satellite C670D-11G - unable to disable screensaver

I've bought a Toshiba c670d-11g and I'm unable to disable the "screensaver" function.
Every 3 minutes my screen fills up with waves & fractals if I don't touch any key.
How can I disable this extremely annoying fuction?

Start > Control panel > Display > Personalization (bottom left corner) > Screen saver (bottom right corner) > set screen saver to NONE
Or
Right mouse click on the desktop > Personalize (last option) > Screen saver (bottom right corner) > set screen saver to NONE

How to monitor WebLogic Server when enable the Administration Port

It works fine when use Listenport 7001, but when enable the Administration Port(9002), it does not work.
Maybe I should do something to set the system environment property, but how?

If the admin port is enabled then you have to use these parameters to run any scripts
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
-Dweblogic.security.TrustKeyStore=DemoTrust
-The you can use Admin URL: t3s://localhost:9002 with Admin Port and Secure Protocol.
Example:
java -Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true -Dweblogic.security.TrustKeyStore=DemoTrust weblogic.WLST application_status.py

Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.42 is the most recent version from Adobe. It is a pre-release version. I am using it without any noticeable problems.
The current stable version is Download 11.7.700.169.

Enabled WebLogic Server domain administration port, now can't connect

I am having troubles in an OID 11g cluster using new custom identity and Java standard trust, so setup a basic lab server with WLS 10.3.3 admin server and one managed server. All was well.
I enabled the domain-wide admin port (9002) and can access the admin server console via https://localhost:9002/em.
I am unable to start the managed server with ADMIN_URL of t3s://localhost:9002 or https://localhost:9002 or using the fully-qualified host name. It says "There is no server running at t3s://localhost:9002" for example.
I enabled SSL debugging, and it just "gives up" quietly, deciding there is no SSL trust:

I set flags like this: -Dweblogic.security.TrustKeyStore=DemoTrust -Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true , no success.

More info: I'm using the default DemoTrust setup.
Correction: I can connect to the console at https://localhost:9002/console (not /em).

When I point my browser to the administration port number, I get the message "Forbidden"

I installed the iPlanet Calendar Server (iCS) and supplied a TCP port number
for the admin port. However, when I tried to access the Calendar Server
administration interface from Netscape Communicator by typing in the URL 

http://server-name:port 

where server-name was
the name of the Calendar Server and port
was the port number, I got the
message "Forbidden."

I checked to make sure that the port number, "22392" was specified in the
server.conf file
in the line 

service.http.admin.port "22392"

I also checked to make sure that admin service was enabled in the
server.conf file in the line 

service.http.admin.enable "yes"

Even after checking these, I was still unable to access the Calendar Server
administration interface.

At this time, there is no graphical administration interface for iCS 2.x.
For this reason, you need to execute all commands for the Calendar Server from
the command line. For some command-line administration tools, you need to
specify the port number.
