Unable to disconnect safely - Help please!

I have a 5th generation 30 gig ipod. I recently reinstalled Itunes, formatted the ipod and then restored the firmware but now I cannot disconnect my ipod safely.
Once the ipod is plugged into my computer, the Do Not Disconnect warning message does not go away after I hit eject. If anything, it will go away for a split second and then before I can physically disconnect the ipod, the flashing warning reappears. So I have had to just unplug it but I am afraid I am going to hurt the ipod or lose songs by disconnecting improperly but I don't know what else to do.
Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone else tell me what else to try to fix it? Thanks for any advice you might be able to give.

Same problem and have heard NO solutions.
The eject hardware doesn't work, I get 'library in use" notice and the eject in iTunes doesn't work.
This started with the most recent firmware update. I have a second viPod and DIDN'T update it and have NONE of these issues.
And system restore didn't work either.

Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . "Oracle SSO Failure - Unable to process request" - help please

We are doing a test switchover from our primary site to a DR site and in the DR site, we are not able to access BI Publisher, which we need to do in order to update the data source connection strings so they point to the databases at the DR site instead of the primary site.
When I try to login to BI Publisher (at http://hostname:7777/xmlpserver), I just get the error “Oracle SSO Failure – Unable to process request”. We are running OBIEE 10.1.3.4 with Application Server 10.1.3. I've opened an SR already, but it's been a week with no solution yet. Please let me know if you have any ideas what the problem could be, or if there is any other information I can provide to help with troubleshooting.

I just wanted to provide an update on this issue now that it's resolved. I'm not even sure if I understand it exactly, but it turns out that if I access BI Publisher by using the virtual hostname that points to our load balancer instead of using the actual hostname of the app server, then I'm able to get logged into BI Publisher successfully and I don't get the SSO error. I think it has to do with how it was registered with SSO. Thanks a lot Srini and SSVS for your help.

Ipod touch randomly connects and disconnects? help please!

Agh! I'm so frustrated! So basically, I'll plug in my ipod touch via USB 2.0 cable, and it on the screen the battery icon will come up like normal, then all of the sudden it will turn to my wallpaper like its not connected, then back to the battery and switch back and forth randomly! I've tried two different USB cables now and I get the same result with both! I know they work because my ipod charges fine with my AC wall charger thing. The next strange thing is the fact that whenever I plug in the ipod and it stays with the battery icon for a little while, a windows thing prompts that I have plugged in a camera, and asks what I want to do with it? I always just say cancel. Also if it switches from connect to disconnect long enough iTunes will come up with an error message saying something like "The iPhone "" could not connect... blah blah blah. (error code something similar to Ex80000035 i think.)" I haven't had trouble syncing in the past! It just started doing this out of the blue and all I want is to put some new music on my iPod!
Things I have already tried numerous times...
-uninstalling ALL things apple related on the computer and reinstalling.
-resetting ipod
-restarting computer
-using different USB cords
-using different USB ports
Please help! I really don't want to go back to the Apple store. Please and thanks! (Oh, and in case it matters, I have firmware 2.2, and the latest iTunes)

A couple of items...
It's possible that a cable can charge an iPod on a wall charger wonderfully, but not sync the iPod to the computer. One of mine are in that "half-broken" stage, so I just ended up leaving it in the system I use to connect my iPod to my television.
Regarding the error you're receiving when connecting the iPod... is the iPod jailbroken? If not, try creating a new user account on your computer and connecting the iPod there.
Creating a new user in Windows XP:
1. Go to Control Panel > User Accounts
2. Click on "Create new user"
3. Follow the prompts to create a new computer administrator
4. Restart the PC and log in to the new account
I know you've already uninstalled and reinstalled Apple software, but this recommendation doesn't hurt. Open your Control Panel and go into Add or Remove Programs. Remove Apple Mobile Device Support and iTunes. Then, open up My Computer, go to your hard drive, and open up the folder called Program Files. If you see a folder called Apple Mobile Device Support, delete it. Then, restart your computer, download a new copy of the iTunes installer from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and go through the installation.

New ITunes unable to Play videos Help please!

I recently transferred all my videos and music over from my old itunes which was on a desktop to my new laptop. The music plays fine and I can watch and listen to music on my new ipod which has been synced to this computer. I am however having an issue watching videos through itunes itself, all i get is a funky green screen and the audio. Any ideas?

Unfortuneatly at this point, mant people are having play back problems with any DRM video...some people seem to work, a large portion do not. The problem seems to be one of 3 things:
- A grey screen with no sound or video
- A grey screen with no sound or video, and apple prompt the account to be re-authorized over and over again, even after it is authorized and music is playinf
- A green screen with sound but no video
Unfortunately I have tried all of the fixes suggested (seach for my posts, you will see what I have tried), but apple support is unable to help me and many others...and we're out in the cold. My suggestion: NON DRM all the way, it just works, quicktime and itunes play any NON DRM, unfortunelty, thats not the way its all going, so...you have to make a choice now...walk on the dark side or...wait..and hope......that apple will eventually come up with a solution. I'll put my faith in the Dark Side for now...evil just works.

Unable to resolve host - help please!

Can't connect to Internet using chrome or safari. In chrome just says unable to connect to internet and unable to resolve host. Wifi and network connections are fine and working for other devices - just the iMac which is the problem. any suggestions please?

Not only for Embeded Ldap for every encrypte password it says this

Not sure. But this is what I think I read somewhere in the BEA documentation.
In your config.xml replace the encrypted passwords with "" (nothing). When the weblogic server restarts it should encrypt the passwords again. Try this out in a test env first. I will try to look up the documentation and update.

Unable to green screen help please

hi.
i'm trying to use the green screen feature with little success.
i have created a red bouncing ball on green background.mov animation to overlay over a background.
all goes well until it come to the actual overlayering and i'm left with a lightened ball and darkened background instead of a removed green background and a red ball.
any hints as to where i'm going wrong?

Green screen works when you film a video using a camcorder in front of a green background. After importing this video into iMovie, you can drag and drop it on another video or photo and the green background will disappear. I don't think it works as you are using it.

It would be nice if you told others the steps you've tried and/or how you used to have your setup.
Anyway have you tried tapping MORE this will then bring you to
the selection-list of Audiobooks, Genres, Compilations & Composers.
Selecting Genres gives you a list of all your music split into genres which was set within the Music downloaded via iTunes or uploaded from CD or which you may have set yourself.
Then you just select the Genre you want:
If certent songs are not correctly gategorised you may need to go into iTunes and reselect via Get-info
>Info>Genre and change it there. That way you should end up with all songs of Jazz or other in 1 place.

When I try to update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Unable to extract the downloaded files" - help please, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC

When I try to do a CC update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Update failed - Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press retry to download again. (U44M1I210)" - help please - re-downloading makes no difference, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC, others seemed to update without problems. I can see the disk image files in AAMUpdater folder but they will not open and come up with "couldn't be opened - resource busy" message.

Yes Jeff, I did all those several times to no avail.
I've included a small error snippet from two installs here. In Creative Cloud when updating the Apps, all 3 get to 50%, then the failure occurs. Retrying starts at 50% and fails the same way each time.
This first one is a segment from the Indesign updater - I have always had the all hard drive folders with read and write privileges allowed and I checked again, this is still the case so I do not know why this particular error message is arising. The second snippet if from the Illustrator update.
