Unable to do action 'Complete Procedure'

Hi,
I have done the correction in dev system and released the tasks. Next i released the TR from solman. Finally the TR was imported in quality system. After this when i try to complete the development using 'Complete Procedure' it issues following warnings and status remains 'In development':
1. Status was reset by system
2. Due to an exceptional situation, a condition was not met
3. Not all transport requests yet released
But when i go to task plan and again try to release transport requests it says 'there are no transport requests for import'.
As a result of this i am not able to proceed further. Plz help.

In think you are using Normal correction flow.
1.Have the transport request is moved to quality and found in quality system?
2.If the status is reset to indevelopment what happens when u try to complete procedure again?is it gives any error?
3.What is the Phase of the maintenance cycle when you do this?
Please give your inputs so that we can find the actual problem.

I have setup a UCM CMS server on Linux. In the UCM instaance I setup If I go to Admin Server, the Genral configuration page contains no entry. While the file Config.cfg present in the directory Oracle/UCM/Server/Config/ contains all the entries I provided during the setup.
Now when I am trying to start/stop the UCM instance, it is giving me error " Request Failed : Unable to alter the process. Unable to execute action 'stop' on server 'EBIZ_UCM'." While If I try to restart the server using IdcServer present at the location Oracle/UCM/Server/bin/, it is getting started.
While clicking on the Component Manager, its giving error like :
" Unable to retrieve component data. Components.hda exists, but contains no data. ".
Please suggest.

I know this is an old thread, but I ran across this while having a similar problem. It turned out that I had started the admin server incorrectly (e.g. running /apps/oracle/ucm/server/admin/bin/IdcAdmin instead of /apps/oracle/ucm/server/admin/etc/idcadmin_start). Once I corrected that the problem went away.

Appraisals having error "Unable to lock action log, Please try again"

Complete procedure to appy Support Package in ECC

Could anybody send me a document that describes the complete procedure of applying support packages in ECC systems (Version 5.0)? I would like to specifically know the prerequisites and the checks that are required before patching.

Its always better to do these before applying support packs
1) Update the kernel to latest level. If you cant do that at least update tp and R3trans
2) Update SPAM/SAINT to latest level
3) Read all notes related to your release from OSS , you can see something like Known Problems in support packs in 640/620 etc. That note will give you the recommended queue for support packs

Unable to cancel busines completion

Order is closed, Status is CLSD, Iam unable to cancel this status ,
When I go to function--> cancel the business completion system throws an error as
Technically complete not allowed.
I know its not possible , is thier any way to cancel this, either through user exit or some Tcode.

Unable to add Action for table - throwing Fatal error while rendering the table after adding

Its a rendering issue with the NWDS/IDE.
Try, close and re-open for fix it. If it still persists, uninstall NWDS and re-install the right version of NWDS w.r.t the Portal server.

Unable to use action blocks in xMII 12.0.2

Hi,
We recently started working on MII 12.0.2 and migrated our xMII 11.5 transactions using the migration tool provided by SAP with MII 12.0 version. In MII 12.0.2, when i open the migrated transactions all the action block images are shown as yellow boxes.
If i double click on any action block of that transaction i am getting a message saying that "Action is not enabled for this version". When i press OK button of this message, the properties window is shown up.
Also, i am unable to use the actions blocks in new transactions. When i double click the action or drag and drop the action, no action is performed. When i launched xMII workbench, i got an error messages in a popup saying "java.lang.nullpointerexception"
It seems we missed out some installation or some configuration files. Can anyone ever faced such problems ?

Custom Action written for SAP xMII 11.5 will not running under SAP xMII 12.0. The package names for the XMII code have changed in 12.0. You must update the references to the com.lighthammer packages to com.sap.xmii. More information

1 The code window is blank when i try to view the code of any package/procedure in HTML DB sql workshop..
2 Also when i try to describe HTMLDB_COLLECTIONS view it hangs..

Make automator pause until previous action completes before starting next a

I'm trying to use Automator to loop through a series of presentations and movies we have, without any user intervention (it's for a project in a reception area of our company). I start with the slideshow and then would like to play the movie -- but I'd like this to happen after the slideshow is completed and not as soon as the slideshow starts. I could try to calculate the time the slideshow will need and place a pause there but this will complicating things (I'd like to be able to tell people to place movies to be displayed in this folder and slideshows in this folder without any reconfiguring of Automator being necessary)?
Is this possible?

Solved it! For anyone else with similar issues, I used a quick timer to pause the stage for 1/10th of a second before moving on using the following code;
-- wait for a split second (so user can see blood splatter before next action executes!!)
    startTimer
    repeat while the timer < 0.1*60
      updateStage
    end repeat

Unable to execute Actions for the Existed Employees in the Upgrade Server

We have Upgraded from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.04
In ECC 6.04 we are unable to Execute further Actions for the Existed employees where as if we create New employee its allowing to execute Actions in the system.

Bug? Unable to restore actions toolbox

Query from gh_sg - March 2008: The left pane of the Actions window generally comprises of 2 sub-panes - the upper Action toolbox and the lower Script navigator. By chance i dragged the divider (between the 2 sub-panes) up so much so that the Action toolbox is out of sight. Now i am unable to restore the Action toolbox. Any help on how to restore this sub-pane would be appreciated.

Shouting is done with all caps, and often lots of exclamation points, so I didn't see it that way!
Personally I wouldn't upgrade to CS4 for a couple reasons..
1) I never did... it was full of bugs when it was first released so I avoided it altogether... They finally came out with a patch sometime last year, but I don't think they cured all of its ills... no regrets at my end except for not being able to help folks who attach CS4 files
2) CS5 is rumored to be released sometime this year, so if you upgrade tto CS4 now, you'll have wished you didn't when you see CS5 released a few months from now (that's what happened to me when I bought CS3... but my reluctance to upgrade right away paid off in my POV... I found the forums first and the issues that CS4 had before a kneejerk reaction could lead me to buy it)
Since I have CS3, maybe I'll take a closer look into your dilemna, hopefully without recreating it for myself. I have to think there must be an option somehwre to display whatever section it is you're talking about. For myself, I code everything by hand, so I'm blind to whatever is off to the side--never pay any attention to it.

Unable to do Action into JSP

I have a jsp which contains an applet...
The Applet contains one Button Which perform some action.. This Action Works fine independetly ie if i run that program alone i am able to do action...
I am unable to perform that action after plugin that applet into my JSP page..
How can i do that action ..

When you say an applet, do you really mean an applet, that is a program embedded in a web page? Or do you just mean a small program?
Can you run the applet successfully when the HTML page is plain HTML, not generated by JSP?
What file are you reading? A file on the local hard drive? A file on the server?
When you say you're "unable to do that action" -- do you mean that you just don't know how to do it? Or that you tried, and you can't compile the code? If so, what error messages do you get? Or do you mean that you can compile the code, but it doesn't work? If so, do you get error messages? If so what are they? What is the applet doing that you know is wrong?

I am unable to install the complete MediaSmart Suite I once had before HDD fail.

My HDD failed a while ago, so i replaced it and installed all the required driver ect. needed for my notebook. Recently i wanted to install the mediasmart package i once had when I purchased the laptop. Upon doing so, I am unable to get it to install properly, as in such things like pandora wont work. I dont have all the options I once had when i purched the laptop like the DVD burner and such. I downloaded all the drivers for these programs, but only am able to install one thing and if i try to install another program, it uninstalls the one already on my pc.
Is there a suite or all in one package i can install all of the programs in one go or something.
If all else fails, i would just like to have the pandora program to work and thats it as i have other music programs on my pc.
