I am unable to call forward
When I hit call forward it goes to screen where I key in the number required but there is no option to save I have one option of back. When I press back call forward get off

Call forward is a carrier function, and must be provisioned on your account by your carrier. Check your services on their web site or call them.

    I enabled call forwarding to a certain number. Now I am unable to remove the call forwarding.
    - Tried to "off" card forwarding on iphone setting
    - Restart iphone
    - Reset all settings
    - Called telco to erase my call forwarding details
    - Dial ##21#
    All to no avail.
    Anybody faces the same problem? Is it telco issue or iphone issue.

    This is a telco problem.
    The interface on the iPhone for call forwarding is only an interface to access the telco's system and set up call forwarding.  It has no control over the actual call forwarding settings.
    It might be a good idea to reset network settings on the iPhone in Settings > General > Reset.
    You can also eliminate the possibility of it being a setting on your phone by restoring as "new", but that's a bit extreme.

  • Call forwarding and 8.3

    Since updating to 8.3, I am not longer able to activate call forwarding. I use at&t and have used this feature before, but not since upgrading to 8.3. Won't turn on in settings or dial pad. When I try to set it, forst there is no ok button. All you can do is back out of the forwarding screen. When I do, call forwarding dims out for about 2 seconds and then just shuts back off. Get an error trying to forward through the dial pad. I've called at&t and they reset my account and said they are having no issues with forwarding. Had a friend test forwarding on his iphone and at&t and his forwarding works fine, since he's still running 7.1.2.
    Anyone else having this issue and/or did you get it sorted out? I need to be able to forward my calls. Help.

    I understand that you are unable to activate call forwarding on your iPhone.  Depending on what carrier you have, this could be related to a provisioning issue.  I would recommend checking with your carrier to make sure this feature is provisioned or not blocked.

    Call Forwarding is a carrier controlled feature. Most likely, the number you see could be for the Voice Mail server.
    It's advised you call your mobile service provider to further assist with this feature.

  • I am suddenly unable to receive calls on my iPhone 4S.  Is it possible that the age of the phone will affect its ability to receive calls? HELP!

    I am suddenly unable to receive calls on my iPhone 4S. 
    I have spent 2 hour-long sessions with technical support and although they were very nice, it is still not fixed.
    When I try to call the phone from a land line, it doesn't ring AND it doesn't recognize that a call is coming in (no missed call) BUT if I leave a message, it records it.
    Is it possible that the age of the phone will affect its ability to receive calls?
    HELP!

    I am truly sorry to hear that your are unable to receive calls on your device. Thank you tbo27 for providing great troubleshooting steps.     I have tried activating the Call forward via the phone or manually via the config, but when I attempt a call to IP Communicator from PSTN or via extn I am not seeing re-INVITE which should be generated for the forwarded call. Am i missing something?

  • Stopping call forwarding on one of two numbers?

    HI,
    I have two Sype numbers, the main one for the UK and a new one that I bought a couple of months ago, a Hong Komg number.
    The HK number used to be used by a tourism website, and although they have changed their main number on their website, references to the old number still exist in a few places and I get calls, sometimes several a day to the number.
    I have contacted the company in HK twice and asked them to clear up the problem, but I suspect that the calls come from external websites that they don't control and are unable to remove the numbers.
    So, I would like to stop call forwarding on one of my numbers, but it doesn't seem like this is possible, which is obviously ridiculous but hey ho.
    I am therefore trying to cancel the HK number, but when I go to the cancel page and hit cancel the page just reloads without doing anything. I also believe that the number stays valid until the yearly payment runs out.
    Questions then, can I cancel the number and peoperly kill it, so I stop getting these calls?

    Checking your options. Canceling the HK Number wouldn't be effective until it expires on February 16th 2016, Which error message [if any] do you receive when you try to cancel call forwarding to the HK Number?

    There are a few ways this can be done Have a look in CUCM under
    Call Routing> Directory number and see if it's set up there. You can have a DID/DN
    with Call Forward set up without an actual phone by doing it via this config.
    You can also check Device > CTI Route Point as the same "virtual" config can be set there as well.

  • Digital Voice Landline DND or Call Forward not working as scheduled

    I have seen this happen for quite some time. In order to avoid calls disturbing sleep at night I have tried scheduling call forward or do not disturb options with time period of 8pm to 11:45pm. But instead of line coming back to normal status outside this time window, my phone seems to keep honoring the DND or forward as setup for night time. Many callers have complained about not being able to get through or being surprised to see the forwarded number answering the call instead of the home line. The only working solution seems to be is to disable time based schedules and just use call block with specific spam numbers in it preloaded. That works 24x7. I am unable to block landline from ringing at night selectively or otherwise based on time window.
    Is this a bug or a known issue ? I tried setting up via different browsers IE Firefox etc and the result is the same.

    My question is if calls could be  forwarded from skype number to a mobile number ? Does anyone know the answer to that..?
    Also if forwarding from skype number to mobile number is possible to a mobile number in A) Same country as of the Skype number, B) Mobile number in a different country overseas..?

  • CUPC 8.6 call forward to voicemail

    Hi!
    I am using Cisco Personal Communicator (CUPC) 8.6 and also CUCM 8.6. I have CUPC in Deskphone mode, connected to a 6945 IP Phone. I also have Unity Connection where my voicemail box is hosted. When I want to setup call forward to voicemail button in cupc option, it is not working. CUPC will not handle the options I setup seconds before. If I manually put in a call forward to extension number of voice mail pilot call forwarding is working. also call forwarding to my mobile is working.
    I checked End User settings, IP Phone is associated to my user, also CTI controll is enabled on device and line settings. user privileges are correct. I tried it on jabber client where it works fine. I also restarted CTI and Callmanager Services on the Servers.
    Does anyone has an Idea if this is a general bug in CUPC or does anyone can tell me what the problem might be?

    Hi,
    If at least one of these phones is set to CF to VM then it will, if not, then no.
    If none of your phones is set to CF to VM CUCM will not send them to VM, that is expected, if you need to ring, phone A, and if it is not answered to go to phone B, C... and so on, and send the caller to VM after you have reached all of these then use a hunt group, (the pilot can be set to CF to VM if nobody answers), if you need to ring all phones at the same time so someone can pick this up, use a hunt group with a broadcast logic.
    If this is for a single user, check 'single number reach' (SNR) or mobility on CUCM.
    Bottom line, there is no way to send a caller to VM if none of the phones is set to CF to VM.

    tried the simple way of call forwarding going in to settings>call forwarding> turn on call forwarding> enter number> return to call forwarding
    but the status is going back to 'off' from 'on'
    I also tried *61*number# but there again its failing. Can someone assist please?

    Who is your carrier? Not all carriers support enabling and disabling call forwarding using the controls in Settings.

    Fios Digital Voice is our only phone service that allows you to manage call forwarding on your Fios app.
    If you do in fact have Fios Digital Voice, then please try uninstalling and reinstalling your app and let us know if that works.
