Hello All i recently updated my bb8900 thru DTM (desktop manager) to the latest frimware but i tried to downgrade it to 4.6.1.206 for the arabic support language read/write i followed the other thread here but didnt work with it says
"No software update is required for your device"
am newbie to blackberry

If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

Hi there Akuma. I do not need to press F6 because I have slipstreamed the SATA drivers into the CD upon loading. I chose all the correct controllers (ICH8-E/M and related) upon slipstreaming via integrating of the SATA drivers in nLite.
The strange thing is that I cannot even GET to formatting the C:\ drive because the XP setup will load the drivers for a minute or two and then I get a BSOD. I can't even get to the screen where it gives me the OPTIONS to choose formatting or which drive to erase. Strange, eh?
What I mean is that I can't even get to the screen where it says where it says "Welcome to Setup. This portion of the Setup program prepares Microsoft Windows XP to run on your computer." w/ the install options. I guess I forgot to mention that. I am unable to get to this screen. It crashes and gives me a BSOD before I get to this. Maybe this isn't SATA drivers related? I guess I will just try compatibility mode if all else fails.

Unable to downgrade to iOS 8.1.2

Im trying to downgrade my iPhone 5c to ios 8.1.2 but every time I try it it gives me an error (with no error code) "The iPhone "~~~" could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible" Ive downloaded / tried to install on my phone: GSM, CDMA, and Global none of these work it takes about 3 minutes to download the IPSW's (it predicts to be 18-20 hours long) Product code: A1456 (CDMA) still unable to update. The authorization server checks the presented list of measurements against versions for which installation is permitted, and if it finds a match, adds the ECID to the mea- surement and signs the result. The server passes a complete set of signed data to the device as part of the upgrade process. Adding the ECID “personalizes” the authorization for the requesting device. By authorizing and signing only for known measurements, the server ensures that the update takes place exactly as provided by Apple.
The boot-time chain-of-trust evaluation verifies that the signature comes from Apple and that the measurement of the item loaded from disk, combined with the device’s ECID, matches what was covered by the signature.
These steps ensure that the authorization is for a specific device and that an old iOS version from one device can’t be copied to another. The nonce prevents an attacker from saving the server’s response and using it to tamper with a device or otherwise alter the system software.
Another paragraph added:
The startup process described above helps ensure that only Apple-signed code
can be installed on a device. To prevent devices from being downgraded to older versions that lack the latest security updates, iOS uses a process called System Software Authorization. Unable to downgrade my iCloud storage because the done button is off

WWhen upgrading to 8 yesterday, I mistakenly upgraded my storage on iCloud . I am trying to go back to the free storage and I am unable to complete the transaction because the "done" icon is in a lite grey mode that indicates an off position.

Unable to downgrade to 10.10.2

Because MAIL no longer works after upgrading to 10.10.3, I have attempted to go back to 10.10.2. However, all attempts to do this have failed. I get as far as being asked to select what volume to use for the installation. But, then, each volume is noted with an exclamation point and deemed unable to host the installation.
Obviously, this is not as simple as just downloading 10.10.2 and installing. There must be some trick to going backward from 10.10.3.
1) How do I go back to 10.10.2? Or,
2) Is there a fix upcoming soon that will enable my MAIL again? (If a fix is coming soon, I will just wait as I can access my mail on all mobile devices.)

I feel so stupid to ask this. But, how do I restore a backup copy of it? I can easily find the dmg in my Back Up HD. But, opening it and trying to install it leads to the same issues as before.
So, that is obviously not RESTORING the version.

I found the section on my preferences where I should be able to do this but it will not allow me to submit my request to downgrade from the $10 option to free.

To downgrade the storage plan on your Mac (from http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4874):

Click Change Storage Plan in the upper-right corner.
Click Downgrade Options.

How can I REALLY downgrade my iCloud storage? Apple is trying to scam ppl out of $$. They will NOT allow you to downgrade per their instructions. It ALWAYS says the iCloud manager is not available, try later. Here is what my email says:
This is a reminder that on 03/03/2015 you will be charged $10.99 for your 20 GB storage plan using your Visa •••• (deleted). If you do not wish to be charged, you can cancel by downgrading to the free storage plan from your iOS device, Mac or PC.

I'm so disappointed that all my products are currently Apple and now I down't trust them as far as I can throw them. There is already a class action suit in Florida for the icon taking up 23% of users' available space, now they are trying to charge me $$ yearly when I do NOT need the space? Shame, Apple.. No... the "done" button will not light up, and it says the iCloud manager is "not available at this time. Try again later." This is a known problem... fix it.

Thank you Roger! Going into my iTunes at least allowed me to delete my credit card info so they can't charge it. In the meantime, after 2 calls I finally got connected to a Senior Advisor from Apple who was able to manually go into my account and remove the automatic charge to my credit card. After sharing my screen, she was able to see the issue many others are having being unable to downgrade. There is a bug in the system that tells you the manage storage is "unavailable at this time". She followed me through several of these threads and realized it is actually an issue. She took all the relevant information and will submit a bug fix request. She even admitted that goal and apple were having an issue syncing to the correct time zone at that there was no know fix at this time. While frustrating, the honesty was refreshing.

I went through Apple support and didn't realize that there are no Apple employees on here. I was on the line with someone from customer service that wasn't as helpful at the time and was very frustrated..
Thanks again for your help! To all others having this problem, keep calling Apple tech support until you get a Senior Advisor - they will help!! The advisor even told me to tell people to call in and that they need to manually downgrade on their end until they get this issue resolved.

I wish to Downgrade Phone plan & Upgrade Broadband...

I am currently on the Unlimited Evening & Weekend Calls Phone Calling Plan with 10GB limit Broadband Plan.
Because I use the internet more than I use the phone, I would like to be able to downgrade my Phone plan to Weekend Calls and upgrade my Broadband plan to Unlimited Broadband. Therefore costing me £1 extra a month overall since the Phone Downgrade would be £2 less a month and the Broadband Upgrade would be £3 extra a month.
I'm unable to downgrade my Phone plan online but is it possible for this to be done? Maybe by BT over the phone or something?
If so, please can you somebody tell me how i can set this up and what number to call?
And again if that can be done, I would then change my Broadband plan to the Unlimited Broadband at £13/month which I can do myself online.
Just thought it would be ideal to get it all done at the same time online or over the phone, preferably without having to speak to someone in India.
Please can somebody get back to me soon on this and let me know soon?

Well what a waste of time and effort that was trying to call BT yesterday!!!
Because I just bought a BT Sport viewing card, my whole BT account resets again from new and I have to wait 12 months if I want to change my phone package
They are afraid of me wanting to leave BT within 12 months I told them I've never attempted to try and leave BT. If I went with anyone else I wouldn't be able to use BT Vision. Can't they see that? I certainly wouldn't go back to Sky. Virgin isn't available in my area.
They are more than welcome for me to spend more money and upgrade my Internet to Unlimited Broadband but can't downgrade the phone line until 12 months has elapsed after buying the viewing card
They kept saying 'BT Sport is free'. I said 'How can it be free, I had to pay £10 for a viewing card'. They said again 'BT Sport IS free'. It might be free AFTER you buy a viewing card with no subscription to pay. I said that if I had to pay anything over £0 and 0 pence then it's not free!
So had I changed my package before getting the viewing card, they may have been OK with that, but now I have to wait until 12 months has elapsed after buying my viewing card about 3 weeks ago

This is true. Adobe Reader 2.5 does not support this. Apparently Adobe Reader 1.5 does, but with 2.5 in firmware, you will be unable to downgrade. The only solution I know is a third party program called PDF+ . See http://www.mbrainsoftware.com/S60_3rd/Pdf/Details.htm#Editions . You would need at least the standard version.

[Solved] (Partial) Loss of vid acceleration with xorg 1.7 & nvidia 190

I've noticed people having a lot of problems with the new xorg server crashing, but my problem appears to be different: Xorg is stable, hasn't crashed yet: but games (and steam) fail to load. However, video acceleration works just fine for compiz and glxgears.
The games are run in a 32 bit chroot, which is completely up-to-date. I haven't seen anyone else with this problem, so I'm creating a new post (whith a topic title that may be way off :).

I've posted on the tail end of the output for Quake4 and ET:Quake Wars for brevity, but included it all for Steam. I've lost the old xorg and nvidia packages, so I'm unable to downgrade. Also, "echo $DISPLAY" in both native and 32bit chroot terminal's output :0.0.
Am I missing something obvious here? Anyone else experiencing something similar?

The problem was because of the 32 bit chroot: X server wasn't allowing access.
"xhost +local:" run from the terminal before trying the games fixes it (but needs to be done with every reboot).
Now, I just need to figure out what's changed seeing as I never had to do this before... (schroot?, Xorg?, ??)

Firefox Developer Edition constantly asks me to update

I am using Firefox Developer Edition 37.0a2 and every start of browser is asks me to update to version 37.0a2. Even when I click to update it is trying to connect to the server and that is only thing that I see.
I did run firefox in safe mode. The result is the same.
I copied my old profile from firefox 35 to firefox 37.0a2. Is there some file with firefox version name or something else is provoking this error?

I think the rebranding was a good idea.
I am all for increased promotion for testing pre release versions it helps users identify & report problems to. It enables users to see new features earlier.
The only disadvantage is the danger of attracting novice or naive users that are going to have problems but not report them or being unable to downgrade to a working release. The Developer Edition sidesteps the last issue as it is a separate install with its own profile, and the name will put off novices.

Source Server : SAP ECC6.0, Component SAP_APPL, release 602 level 16
Target Server : SAP ECC6.0, Component SAP_APPL, release 600 level 24.
This problem happens due we was unable to downgrade the release and patch the latest support pack of SAP_APPL reelease 600.

Need installation media for Acrobat 9

I use a proprietary software that only supports Acrobat up to version 9 at this point. I purchased version 11 as that is the only version that appears to be available for purchase and was told I can downgrade to 9. I have been unable to downgrade as I have been unable to get the installation media for version 9. The reseller I purchased it through has discontinued Acrobat 9 and I can not get it through Adobe either. I have tried two different resellers as well and they both list Acrobat 9 as disconinued.
I'd like to know how I am supposed to downgrade the software if the media for the version I need is unavailable

As Acrobat 9 is about 5 years old now, you may want to ask the software vendor that created your proprietary software to update their software.
As for solving your immediate problem, as Adobe doesn't sell Acrobat 9 anymore and, as you've found, most resellers don't either, you may want to look to some other options, such as eBay or Amazon to obtain a licensed version of Acrobat.

Latest Airport Extreme randomly stops working

I have been having this issue for some time now but its getting rediculous. Basically my airport extreme will randomly give up on loading content. All my devices are still connected but nothing goes through. The only thing I have found to fix this is restarting the airport either physically or through airport utility. Its not my modem I always check that first. I have also reverted to factory settings. Im not sure if this is a problem with the latest update (im running 7.7.3) but if it is, It seems as though apple has taken down any previous versions so im unable to downgrade. Im considering bringing it in to have it exchanged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, once on 7.7.3 there is no turning back.. The security hole is very big and Apple could not allow it to continue in use once discovered. That was the right decision.
To help more we need more info on your whole network setup.
Certainly the latest airport routers have not reached the stability of the previous model. And with important info gone because SNMP and logs are no more.. there is very little you do to analyse the problem.
