Unable to download Apps on App-store, because of "ConnectionManager::invoke:: Failed to find service connection url."
I can't download anything from App-store. It keeps saying i'm typing the wrong password and I even changed my password 2 times now, but it still doesn't work
Check GateKeeper ...
Open Sysem Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Select: Mac App Store and identified developers
If that area is greyed out, click the padlock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password.
OS X: About Gatekeeper
If that didn't help, disable anti virus software if installed. Then try logging in.
And try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try logging in.

the iPad is totally new to me. I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID. As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error. It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. Cancel or Retry. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'd also love to know how to get rid of the old owner's name, which was Mike - I'm AnnWow, I found a solution in another thread:
I had exact same error.....
Rebooting - Failed
Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.
Good luck!
I still need to know how to change the name to Ann, though, Mike keeps popping up - and yes, I have changed it under Settings..... -

I am trying to download a free app on my iPhone 5. I keep getting a message after I enter my Apple ID password. The message says: ConnectionManager::invoke:;Failed to find service connection url. I've tried shutting off my phone, a hard reboot, and connecting to wifi. Nothing works.
I am in the same boat. Seems to be a common problem lately. Hopefully we will find a fix.

ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. I keep getting this error line I have just got my macbook pro back from repairs and a drive upgrade could this be the problem...?
Hey gasemp,
If you see that error I would sign out then sign back in to see if that resolves the issue:
Sign out
Choose Store > Sign Out.
Sign in using an Apple ID
Choose Store > Sign In, or click Sign In in the Quick Links section.
The Quick Links section is located in the right part of the window shown when you click Featured, Top Charts, or Categories in the toolbar.
Enter your Apple ID and password, and then click Sign In.

Am trying to re-download purchases I lost due to needing to do a clean reinstall to correct some mystery issue. I was able to re-download some such old purchases the other day--but not now.
Any help much appreciated! There is currently a system wide AppStore issue affecting certain users: http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus
Nothing to do with your system in particular, it's a problem on the Apple servers. -
I get this message when I enter my password to download Apps. How do I fix this?
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Try when connected to another network
- Wait since it may be an Apple problem
- Restore from backup. See:

Help I keep getting a connection error for App Store and iTunes on my new iPhone 5 but not for game enter? What should I do?
From what I'm seeing, looks like it's being fixed even as we speak. My recommendation is to wait an hour or so and check again. Inconvenient, but that's probably the best option.

Why do i get connection Manager invoke failed to find service connection url for my app store
My Ipad can not download any apps today i just get this message but i can open app store no problems on my IMAC
First, those are two different App Stores. The App Store app on your Mac is for the Mac App Store, apps for Macs, apps for OS X. The App Store app on your iPad is for the iTunes App Store, apps for iOS devices.
Many folks are reporting an issue connecting to the iTunes servers with their iPads for updates. I had 9 updates yesterday and had no such issue on my iPad 4. Some have used the work around of going to their Purchases List and updating each individual app that has an update from there. -
App Store tells me failed to find service connection url. How do I fix it?
When I go to buy an app from the app store it ask for my password for my apple ID. When I enter it it tells me it has failed to find my service connection URL. If If I try to open my account info it tells me I have entered my password wrong to many times when I'm not. Can anyone tell me why it has failed to find the service connection URL?
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/install.log" from the file list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting. -
