Unable to download dashboard designer

hi,
I am trying to download the dashboard designer for my PPS application. But when i click on that, i am getting error , unable to download dashboard designer.
We dont have firefox/chrome browser installed on the server. do we actually need those browsers if IE is not working correctly when it comes to PPS Dashboards

Let’s verify that: Create a Site Collection with template BI Center and within the PerformancePoint Content library click on add item button. This would install the Dashboard Designer at your end.
According to your description, When you attempt to open Dashboard Designer, you cannot download the application.
For your issue, confirming you have the proper trust relationship for your Browser to communicate with SharePoint.
Under the IE Select -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Local intranet -> Sites -> Advanced and make sure your SharePoint domain is in the list of approved sites.
To troubleshoot your issue, refer to the following article:

If the issue persists, check the SharePoint ULS log located at : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS to get a detailed error description.

You can try to initiate a direct download using the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

Unable to install Dashboard Design on Windows 7 Office 2010. Invalid Keycode INS00140.

This is a know issue in Dashboard design 4.0. You can upgrade to SP 02 or try work around mentioned in SAP Note 1587949 - The Product Keycode is not Valid. INS00140

Trouble in Downloading Oracle Designer from OTN.

I am unable to download Oracle Designer documentation from OTN. After downloading it does not open the zip folder.
It says that the zip folder is corrupted.

What's browse you use? Try firebox if using IE, try IE if using firefox.

Hello Everybody,
I am using Sharepoint server 2013 , SQL Server 2012 SP1, PerfomancePoint and Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode.
I built one report in SSDTusing an Analysis Services Cube. This report has 3 parameters. So the idea is use Dashboard Designer to use this SSRS Report and connect it with some PP Filters.
The issue is that I am always obtaining "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
I have the following settings in the PP Report:
Server Mode: SharePoint Integrated
SharePoint Site: http://MySharrepointSite:PortNumber/sites/bicenter
Document library : Documents (selected from drop down, my report is deployed to document library)
Report : report.rdl
When I select the report from drop down list its giving the error in a pop up message box as "Unable
to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".
I have tried to use the most simple report, only with one parameter, but is always displaying the error above.
When I open the report directly from documents library its working fine and even it is working fine (
when I deployed the report) but the issue is parameters are not showing.
Any idea? Please help.

Hello Tom,
It should be "ReportServer" in the URL, not "ReportService".
In "Reporting Service Configuration Manager" look up the correct URL. Open Internet Explorer with right-mouse click => "Run as Administrator" and open the URL, this should work. Navigate to "Side setting" (on top right side),
go to tab "Security" and add your account with role "System Administrator". Afterwards you should be able to open the URL without running IE as admin.

I got the same problem recently in BI 4.1 Platform and all the permissions were already set, I mean on the universe and all others which are required but I found there was some problem in Dashboard Cache server, when I restarted that it worked fine ...
I was able to see the universe once I restarted it. I was getting a Java unable to invoke object Error..

Error "Unable to Load URL" in Dashboard Design 4.1 SP2 while create web service connection

I am using SAP BO Dashboard Design 4.1 SP2.
I have create one web Intelligence report and from it i create web services url using of publish data feature.
when I use this url to create Web service(Qaaws) connection in dashboard It is showing me error " Unable to Load URL "
URL is working fine in browser in server system where i install SAP BO 4.2 but it is not working in my system where i installed dashboard design.
Please suggest how do i make connection using of this URL in dashboard.
Do i miss something or doing wrong ? then guide me.

PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer run error - "Cannot download the application..."

I downloaded and ran PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer for SharePoint a few days ago, but didn't get far into exploring the software. When I went back and tried to open it today, I received the following error:

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got error - "Cannot download the application..."
when running PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer.
I recommend to follow the steps to reslove the issue:
Turn on pop-up blocker in the Internet Browser Settings.
Remove the proxy server in the Internet Browser Settings.

Performance Point Services - Unable to connect to site from Dashboard designer

Recently we moved the Reports site collection from one environment to other. So the Performance point content is also copied.Now I wanted to change the report paths that were deployed using Performance point services. When I try to open the report file from
perforamnce pointcontent list it shows unexpected error. If I am trying to connect to the using Dashboard designer it says URL is not available does not reference Sharepoint Site or you do not have permissions to connect.
Pleasee see the attached file for more details.
How do the reports be fixed when they are to be deployed using Performance point services(Dashboard designer). Unfortunately we do not have the dashboard designer ddwx file with us. Its been developed by vendor and they have not given us.
How should the Dashboard reports(SSRS Report ) be moved from one environment to other.What is the best way to move the performance point dashboards from one environment to other.

At both site-collection level and web application level you need to enable SharePoint designer. Did you do that ?

Opening site in SP Designer also needs WebDAV to be enabled on the web front end servers. If the problem still persists, simultaneously open up fiddler and see what's the error message you are getting. That may give you some clue to proceed

SAP Crystal Dashboard Design 2008, personal edition, full product download

Hi, can anyone tell me what I need to do after downlaoding 2008 personal edition?
I've tried to run the install file but I keep getting a window that tells me "Microsoft XP and later applications: Excel, Word, Outlook or PowerPoint must be pre-installed".
But my laptop is already installed with MS XP and MS Office 2010.

Office 2010 is not supported in Xcelsius 2008. Check this blogpost for a workaround.

Unable to download JDeveloper 10g Production Release or Oracle Designer 10g

The downloaded files doesn't seems to be complete and I get "invalid file" when try to open using WinZip. I tried to download these files few times now but in vain.

I am still unable to download. I used 2 different browsers. I am clicking on the 'Download JDeveloper 10G'
link on the homepage, clicking on 'I Accept' on the next page after checking all the checkboxes. Then in next page
clicking Complete Install/Basic Install gives the same
"Sorry, page not found error"!

Class not registered in dashboard designer?

I am new to SAP and this forum as well kindly apologize for my mistakes and silly questions...
I have installed SAP Dashboard design version: 6.0.0.0 Build: 14,0,2,364 on my windows XP system which have already BO client version : 14.0.3 Build 613.
after the installation when i tried to add query from dashboard designer it is giving an error "class not registered" but i have already registered with the product code given to me, while logging on business objects enterprise through dashboard designer the authentication drop down is not showing any thing and i am unable to log on to access any universe.
My BI launch pad and webi rich client is working fine but the issue is with the dashboard designer.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Unable to Download Podcasts Since 9.0.2 - No "Get Episode" Button

Ever since the update to 9.0.2, I am unable to download podcasts from the iTunes store. The old and, it has to be said, reliable "Get Episode" button is nowhere to be seen. Clicking on the subscribe button brings me the warning splash screen, "Are you sure you want to subscribe?" but when I click "Yes" nothing happens.
The new iTunes Store design may be sexy and all that but it lacks the essential element of functionality. Black background, sure. 3-D buttons and windows, bring it on. But best of all... how about it just works?
I produce a podcast and it is very frustrating to think that all our hard work won't get heard because of a technical glitch. Is there a workaround? Or is it possible to go backwards in time to an older (more functional version of iTunes)? It seems like a pretty substantial problem... anyone else?

I've got iTunes 9.0.3. I'm clicking the FREE button (and every other button I can find) on podcast lists but since they changed the design I still can't download a single episode of a podcast.
Any help will be appreciated.
I guess not many people actually download podcasts or there would be a real storm about this - it's so basic, yet it doesn't work and there are almost no posts about it.
