I have been unable to download adobe acrobat pro, which I purchased on a month to month basis almost exactly 1 year ago, since I purchased it. I just received a renewal email and it had a link to download the program and for the first time when I clicked on the link it actually sent me to a page that had the icon to download now. I clicked on that, but when I went to open the file and start downloading after about 3 minutes into downloading it says an error had occurred. Can anyone help me?

I am a little worried. If you are an existing subscriber why would Adobe need you to download... I wonder if the message is a fake.
I'm not clear, if you've had it for a year, whether you need to download, or you are just following the email?
This page with the icon to download now. Was it a page on adobe.com ?

  • TS1702 When I try to install an app on my iPhone, I get either 'Unable to download / Install Application at this time' or on iTunes I get error 0xe000008

OK, So here's the case on my new iPhone.
A friend gifted me this app for my iPhone and it worked fine on my friends phone ( he downloaded it as well from my account and I authorized it temporarily so he could install it) but when I just tried to install the app on my iPhone, I kept getting an error, like I said in the title, either "Unable to download application (app name) could not be installed at this time" or on iTunes, I would get the error "unknown error 0xe000008" on iTunes, and the app would be un-launchable. I have tried many times to delete it and reinstall, I've tried tips from other users, disabling and re-enabling wifi, logging out and back in my Apple Store account, just about everything, even a fresh re-sync, does anybody have any ideas what to do, and what may be causing this?? This is seriously starting to frustrating me!
    Thanks!

  • Unable to download Adobe Acrobat XI; order confirmation, get error message 413 Header length too large JRun Serviet Error;  how to download program I paid for?

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on line; received email order being processed and order purchased confirmed.  When I tried to download the program I received JRun Serviet Error 413, Header Length too Large.  Is there a way to resolve this?  Is there a customer service number at Adobe?

Get the download from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. You will still need your S/N to complete the install.

  • Unable to download & install app from MacStore

    Hi all,
i am unable to install Twitter app from Mac store. It says downloaded, but when i click install nothing happens and error message pops out.
Already tried to install other free apps and everything went well, just the twitter app failed. Running latest version of OSX Lion on Macbook Pro 13.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

It is kinda strange because the status bar on app icon is completed and i can find the app under Purchases, but when i click on the install button, the icon appears for 3 seconds and then disappears with error message.

  • Unable to download & install The Witcher 2

I have bought and paid for a copy of the Witcher 2, which appears normally as an App purchase. However, since moving to a new computer, I am unable to either download or install the game. Whenever I try to initiate a DL, the app application reamians apparently stuck in "Pause" mode (greyed out button), with the indication "Waiting...." for hours on end. It started up once, downloaded about 1 MB, then switched to Pause again. I have since deleted that false start, but it seems to make no difference.

Make sure you are using the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase of the game.
And make sure GateKeeper is enabled.
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Select:  Mac App Store and identified developers
If that area is greyed out, click the padlock icon to make changes. You may be prompted for your admin password before proceeding.

  • Problems downloading/installing Acrobat from the app manager

I am getting the following message when attempting to download Acrobat. I do not know why it's no longer installed on my computer, nor why this message pops up:
Adobe Genuine Software Validation Failure. The product you are trying to install is not an Adobe Genuine Software and appears to be counterfeit.
How can this be? I am attempting to install software directly through Adobe- how can it be counterfeit. Any suggested solutions welcome.

  • Paid for, downloaded, installed acrobat xi standard. Stuck at activation!!

I'm quite annoyed how I ended up in this situation. Paid for the program, downloaded it, installed it. Put the serial number in and now only to find out I needed a previous version of acrobat.
I didn't see anything on the purchase page that said that. Also, I would expect at this day and age Adobe should have some sort of finder on your PC to see if you have a previous version BEFORE purchasing it.
Now I am stuck. Can't load pdf's and can't print them either.
Who from Adobe can rectify this for me please?

    Hi Colin,
It seems that you have purchased an upgrade for Acrobat.
If you have owned a prior version of Acrobat only then would you be eligible for this purchase.
If the older version is installed on your computer and you install the upgrade then the installer will recognize the older version and accept the purchased upgrade serial number.
If you do not have the older version installed on your computer then you need to keep the older serial number handy as the installer will try to detect the older version first and if it fails to find, it will prompt you to enter the older as well as the upgrade serial number for activation.
