Unable to Download Music Tracks

Hi,
I am now trying to convert all my DRM music tracks to DRM Free as from last week Music Unlimited has gone DRM Free. There are a few tracks which I am unable to download and something prevents the songs from downloading. When I hit the download button, all it get is ! sign.
I tried to delete this track from my PC but still it does not work.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi shivram100,
Thank you for your post.
DRM is protected content and therefore there isn't anyway of making this content DRM free.
What phone are you using  and which program you using to download these tracks.
There is no way to convert  Digital Restrictions Management (DRM)
Thanks  for your advance cooperation
Kind regards
 Carl

I'm getting this error message: "User not registered for online use" when i'm trying to download music/ track names from a CD into ITunes on my Windows 8 PC.  I'm registered and my itunes account/ appleID are all correct and working.

The ""not recognized for on-line use". error is associated with the Gracenote service that iTunes uses to look up and retrieve metadata for CDs.  Some users have reported that this error occurs when trying to import from CD, subsequent to upgrading to version 12.  A number of slightly different solutions have been reported (though all of a similar nature).
Try walking through the following steps - before starting you may have to enable hidden files and folders to be viewed - in Windows 7 / Windows Explorer select Organize > Folder and search options, then on the View tab make sure that Show hidden files, folders and drives is selected.  Without this you won't see the AppData folder in C:\Users\username\
    Exit iTunes
In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete the following files:
    CD Info.cidb
    com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
    Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If this doesn't work:
In iTunes, select Edit > Preferences and make a note (or take a screenshot) of your preferences settings in all relevant tabs
    Exit iTunes
In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete the following file:iTunesPrefs.xml
    Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If this second procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1.
    If this one didn't work:
    Exit iTunes
    Check the following folders:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes
    C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Apple Computer\iTunes
Delete any copies of the following files:
    CD Info.cidb
    com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
    iTunesPrefs.xml
    Restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
Again, if this procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1 of the second procedure. If you're still not able to retrieve CD info:
    Exit iTunes
In Windows, select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.  Find the entry for iTunes, right-click and select Repair.
When this process has finished, restart iTunes
Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
If none of these have worked (and almost everything I've seen suggests you should be OK by this point), you may have an issue with the installation and configuration of iTunes itself.  If you have got this far, see turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for advice on how to remove and replace of all components of iTunes.

  • Unable to download music or video directly to mobo...

in Nokia 710, unable to download music or video directly from internet explorer. Not having option to connect internet through pc suite. Unable to download apps from market place from debit card or net banking. Not having adobe flash player. Unable to edit office files who comes from mail. Totally Nokia 710 is famous for showing error msg that windows phone can't support this type of file. Totally waste.

You can stream music and videos from Internet Explorer (or SkyDrive). In order to transfer media to your phone, you use Zune.
You can download free (and trial) apps without a credit card but you can't buy apps.
Adobe Flash Player for mobiles is dead. It will dissapear from all mobiles. Simple as that.

  • Can the volume for downloaded music tracks be synced and how

can the volume for downloaded music tracks from itunes be synced and how if so

Hard to know what the cause is  because it's like this
I know what I did to cause this. I upgraded my one of my hard drives, renamed the drive and moved the folder. The missing pictures it can't find were added with the option in the advance menu "copy photo to library" turned off.
    and this
What I did is added a small SSD as my primary drive. Put the OS and all the apps on it.  Moved my iPhoto and iTunes libraries to an large external.  Most of the picture it is not having a problem wth.  Only certain ones.  Don't actually think I unchecked tha prefeence, but it's acting like i have.

    Cdadd,
If by any chance you have made purchases with more than one account, you must check for past purchases separately for each account.

  • Unable to download music

    Hi.
I have an ipad2 with iTunes Match. I am unable to download any music whether it is purchased or matched. The tracks appear to be downloading but does not go beyond processing. I sometimes get a message stating download failed, retry later. No problems downloading app updates.
I can stream music without problem so I don't think that it is a wifi problem. I have tried turning off match and signing out of iTunes Store. I cannot clear match from my music app. All music in cloud still shows even when I have signed out of match - I cannot stream the songs now.
I Have tried a hard reset of my ipad.
    Any suggestions?
    jim

    Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately my problem  has not been resolved completely. I decided to turn off iTunes Match. I had great difficulty clearing match and whilst syncing iTunes acknowledged that iTunes Match was off, I was unable to get music on manually.
EVentually after trial and error I have now successfully synced around 1200 tracks which I think will keep me going for a while. I was also successful in downloading a previous purchase!!
Anyway I'll be off on holiday shortly. I'll give match another try when I return. If it doesn't work I think I'll try a complete reset to factory settings.

  • Unable to download music to iPod

I received a free iPod Nano 2nd generation when I signed up to my current ISP a couple of years ago, but never used it. I now propose to give it to my girlfriend.
Before doing so, I wanted to test it to make sure it works properly. I subsequently charged the battery until the "Plug" image appeared on the battery animation using my custom built Win XP Pro PC and then installed iTunes and updated the firmware to the current version.
I then created a playlist and since then, I've spent almost three days trying to load three MP3 files on to it manually; so far to no avail. In the iTunes setup, the three files appear in the custom playlist, but try as I might, I cannot seem to get them to download to the iPod. The custom playlist appears by name, but the window where the files should appear is blank.
So my question here is how do I download music to the iPod?

    Hi ams2719,
I think I've tracked down the culprit. I don't usually use the Windows "My Documents" folder preferring instead to file data on different partitions on my HD. But I decided to add three files to the "iTunes" folder located in the "My Music" folder to see if that worked. I also followed your instructions together with those in a video located at http://www.apple.com/itunes/tutorials/#video-syncipod (bottom one in the right hand menu), and managed to get the files downloaded to the iPod.
Thanks anyway for your prompt response.

  • Unable to download music fron Nokia Music app

Hi I am unable to download songs from Nokia Music application on my Lumia 520.
It says "Your phone is already registered with a Nokia Music Unlimited Subscrption".
    What should I do?

    Hi avishgupta,
Welcome to the Nokia Support Discussions!
Just to verify, did you purchase the phone brand new or 2nd hand? The reason why we ask this is because it is possible that the phone has been registered by its previous owner. The Nokia Music Unlimited (NMU) subscription is linked to the Nokia account and the IMEI number of the device that has been used to activate the service.
Do you have another Nokia account aside from the one that is currently signed in with the device? If yes, can you remember if you have signed it in on your device?
Since the issue needs account verification, it would be best to contact Nokia Support for further assistance:

    Hi Stallingsgnp,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
Did you have a backup of your iPhone in iTunes or iCloud?  If so, you can restore the new iPhone with that information.   What happens when you try to sync with your iMac?  Do you get an error message?  Here are a couple of troubleshooting resources for you:

I'm no longer able to download music from the Amazon app. My wifi is working fine. I no longer get that error message. But when I hit the download button, it just says "retry" after about 15 seconds. Can't seem to figure out what the problem is...

    Hello Ms_ksa
I download music video and cover using the Android application TuveMate
It is very good because you can download video in the desired format flv, 3gp, avi and mp4.
As also download music in mp3 format

Just bought an entire album only to have parts of it downloaded and others not.  Missing three tracks and according to my itunes account it says purchased, but this I already know, it's getting them that is the issue.  With error messages popping up constantly.  Deleted all trace of whatever was downloaded, restarted my computer and itunes and still no album, but Apple got my money.  Anyone else having these issues and absolutely feed up?

  • Unable to download music on adobe audition?

I made a really good track on my adobe audition but I didn't save it before my subscription ran out. Now I have no way to get on audition and save the song. What can I do? I really would rather not buy a whole other month just to download my song.

You'll need to tell us a lot more.  Where do you want to download from?
If you've stored your music on the Creative Cloud then as far as I know you WILL have to rejoin to get it.  However, if you've uploaded to Soundcloud or Youtube or something then you can access your music with anything--you don't need Audition just to play back something.
