Unable to download nano manual

Hello,
I've tried downloading the ipod nano manual off the support site but it stalls at 71% and wont finish downloading.
Couldn't find anywhere on the site to email apple direct so thought i'd post on here.

I am unable to download iTunes (10.5.2).

I am unable to download iTunes (10.5.2).
When I attempt to download I get an error message which reads:
"Apple Software Update
Errors occured while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools>Download Only and try installing manually."
I have done the Tools>Download Only and tried installing manually. When I do this procedure I get an error message which reads:
"Apple Software Update
iTunes has an invalid signature. The download has been removed."
I went to the "Trouble installing iTunes or Quicktime for Windows" help section and deleted Temp folder and restarted the computer, but I am getting all the same error messages.
I hesitate to uninstall iTunes and reinstall because I am afraid that I will loose all of my music, podcasts and pictures.
My iTunes also will not download my most recent podcasts.
Can you tell me what to do to correct these problems?

I never had to uninstall iTunes to reinstall a new version, that included 10.5. What happens when you try to download iTunes 10.5?
How are you trying to download it? From the Apple website or the iTunes/Apple software updater?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Unable to download music

Hi.
I have an ipad2 with iTunes Match. I am unable to download any music whether it is purchased or matched. The tracks appear to be downloading but does not go beyond processing. I sometimes get a message stating download failed, retry later. No problems downloading app updates.
I can stream music without problem so I don't think that it is a wifi problem. I have tried turning off match and signing out of iTunes Store. I cannot clear match from my music app. All music in cloud still shows even when I have signed out of match - I cannot stream the songs now.
I Have tried a hard reset of my ipad.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately my problem has not been resolved completely. I decided to turn off iTunes Match. I had great difficulty clearing match and whilst syncing iTunes acknowledged that iTunes Match was off, I was unable to get music on manually.
EVentually after trial and error I have now successfully synced around 1200 tracks which I think will keep me going for a while. I was also successful in downloading a previous purchase!!
Anyway I'll be off on holiday shortly. I'll give match another try when I return. If it doesn't work I think I'll try a complete reset to factory settings.

I am having trouble downloading songs purchased on my iphone. There are 90 songs that will sync to my computer but I get the following message when trying to download on the iphone:
Unable to download
"the song" could not be downloaded at this time
Why is this?

Did you have a backup of your iPhone in iTunes or iCloud? If so, you can restore the new iPhone with that information. What happens when you try to sync with your iMac? Do you get an error message? Here are a couple of troubleshooting resources for you:

Ovi Maps - unable to download new maps

Hi,
I just updated my X6 to v3.06 of Ovi Maps which deleted all my map data. I have been unable to download the new maps via Ovi suite (the updated version comes up with an error message "Your computer is not connected to internet" when it clearly is! I've also tried getting the maps from the phone but I get a "connection failed" error message when I try. I've access to fast wireless internet so that would be my preferred route for downloading the maps straight to the phone but have always used Ovi suite in the past. No problems at all with the older versions of Ovi suite. I tried looking at the internet settings in Ovi suite but my home provider is not in the list of presets so I entered the settings manually. No luck with that.
Can anyone help please?

If your WLAN is Priority 1 in Internet destinations there is usually no problems.
Are you saying that you can't sign-in to Nokia account via OVI Maps so it just reads "Accounts" not Hello,user name at top right of screen?
If OVI Maps application set to "Online" can you download mapping data to your immediate vicinity by zooming in?

The word "Update" indicates to me that you are talking about installing a "Software Update", using the Software Update application provided as part of the Mac OS X system. This can be accessed in a variety of ways, including from the Apple Menu or from the System Preferences Software Update Preference pane.

The word "Install" here is used by you to indicate running a package installer that is bundled (wrapped) in a disk image (.dmg) file.
The short answer is, regarding the installation of the software update, is that these to ways of installing an update to a particular Apple application are identical in terms of what you end up with for that application. It doesn't matter which mechanism one uses to install the update.
The details of what the Software Update application does are something like this:
- it checks a database of what is installed on your computer system against Apple's database of what versions of applications are current for the version of Mac OS X installed on your computer, and the computer hardware itself
- it then offers to the user/system administrator, a list of available updates
- when an available update is chosen, such as iTunes 10.6.3, the Software Update application downloads either the same installer package contained in the disk image, or the disk image itself - I'm not 100% sure which.
- in either event, it then runs the installer package. This is the same installer package you run if you mount the .dmg disk image and run the installer package manually.
- the target application, located in the /Applications folder, is then updated.
in this case, the application iTunes would be updated from version 10.6.1 to version 10.6.3. There are none of your personal iTunes database files included in this application bundle, unless you have done something out of the ordinary and manually dropped files into the app bundle (unlikely, I think).
Your iTunes files are located in your home directory (folder), in the Music folder. These are largely unaffected by the upgrade of the iTunes application, except for the occasional new information that may be stored in your iTunes database that arrises from new functionalities of the iTunes application.
double click on 10.6.3 and install it in my applications folder - which will presumeably overwrite my 10.6.1 itunes?
So, as stated above, none of "your" iTunes stuff is located in the Applications folder. None of your music, movies, or settings are stored in the Applications folder.

Unable to Download Signature Updates behind IPS

Hi,
I am having IPS 5.1. Since after S226, I have not been able to download Sig Updates from behind the IPS. I have to manually download the SigUpdates from a different location and transfer it to the Station from where I can updae the signatures. I have also raised a TAC case, but it has not been resolved yet. The unique part is that I am unable to download only from the Cisco SigUpdate site and that too only the SigUpdates. Other files I can download. What they have asked is that I need to disable all signatures and try to download the update, to ascertain whether the problem is with the IPS or elsewhere. All the currently loaded sigs have been checked for blocking, but no obvious indicators. My question is, what is the cleanest and the easiest way to disable the sigs and check and then restore it back? I hope I dont have to manually disable individual signature, and then re-enable it. Also, I am wary about backing up, and then simply restoring it. The last time I did it, the restore process went awry and I had to manually tune individual signatures, which is a very tedious and a risky process. Can someone help me with a script or something? 1.- Backup your config to a ftp server
sensor# copy current-config ftp://[email protected]//tftpboot/update/qmaster89.cfg
Password: ********
2.- Use the IPM and from the configuration tab make sure you list ALL signatures. Then click on select all tab and click on disable.
3.- Apply the changes and then perform the test
4.- After the test restore the configuration by using
sensor# copy ftp://[email protected]//tftpboot/update/qmaster89.cfg current-config
Password: ********
Warning: Copying over the current configuration may leave the box in an unstable state.
Would you like to copy current-config to backup-config before proceeding? [yes]:

Unable to download hybrid bios

I've been trying to download the hybrid bios for about a week but I'm still unable to download it. I have the R9 270X GAMING 2G. when I try to download the bios in Live Update 6 the progress bar comes up and is full but says 0% and then it says it has been downloaded but nothing pops up. There's no file for the bios update in C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\Live Update\LU5\DL_FILE. I was wondering if there's somewhere I can manually download it?

Create a bootable usb stick (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=165175.0).
Then unpack the previously provided archive (102.rar) and put the included file (TV303MH.102) on that stick.
Rename TV303MH.102 to 102.rom. Put the atiflash.exe also included in the archive on the USB stick too. Now boot from the stick.
Type atiflash -p -f -noaper 0 102.rom [ENTER] and let it flash the vbios.

Soundbooth CS 5 - unable to download scores

Hey there,
I'm unable to download scores from the resource center. It starts downloading, stops after few seconds and the file is broken.
Maybe my problem is our company's firewall (webwasher).
I found a site to download the scores manually:

BUT especially the score I was looking for (Jingle Bells) is NOT there!

It is probably simply gone. SB has long been deprecated and "start of May" sounds exactly like the files simply went offline. Haven't seen any announcements on that, but I'm sure they exist somewhere...

MAINTENANCE WIZARD USERS MUST DOWNLOAD PATCHES MANUALLY UNTIL RELEASE 2.18

Due to a recent change in security policy Maintenance Wizard is unable to download patches automatically from within the tool. This issue is being worked and should be resolved very soon.
Until this download issue is resolved, customers will need to download patches manually and stage them into the patch directory defined by the environment variable EOF_PATCH_TOP for the Maintenance Wizard login.
This issue effects all releases of Maintenance Wizard to 2.17

All pre-req steps / patches should be defined as steps in the Maintenance Wizard tool. The only manual part should be downloading the patch which is normally done in the setup phase of the step. If you are coming across pre-requiste steps that are not defined in the Maintenance Wizard tool, please update this thread with them so can discuss.
NOTE: Any step that does not have a RUN button within it has been defined as a manual step that you must execute manually outside the Maintenance Wizard tool and then mark the step as completed manually.

Droid 3 - Unable to connect to AT&T U-verse wireless network and unable to download apps using 3G

Hi,
I just purchased a DROID 3. It will not connect to my home network which is AT&T U-verse. It goes through the authentication process and then Wi-Fi shows as disconnected and the network shows as disabled. Everything else is connecting to the router just fine, computers, printers, blackberry. I have toggled wi-fi on and off and get the same result.
I was able to connect to other wireless networks, AT&T DSL, mobile hotspots, just not AT&T U-verse.
In addition, I am unable to download apps using the 3G network.
Any solutions out there?

On my router, it is set to accept connections only from devices (MAC Addresses) I allow. Maybe you have yours set up that way.
Also if you have a passcode on the router, you will need to search for the device, then add the passcode to your phone.

Why do albums in iTunes Match only partially download? I keep getting unable to download messages....These are albums I have purchased previously.

I have been trying to download some of my favorite albums from my collection on to my phone, and on many of my albums, only part of the album I successfully downloaded. I keep getting a message saying tho song is unable to download retry or done?!? This is over wifi and I have had this previously downloaded on my phone---before changing to iTunes Match!

You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.
