Unable to download Wireless Toolkit

I have been trying to download the Java Wireless Toolkit and various other packages from the Sun website for the last week, and have not been successful. Each time I attempt to download, I'm routed to a page that says there was an error in the transaction and that I am automatically logged out. Is anyone else having this problem?

maybe it has been blocked by norton anti virus in your pc so try to disable norton anti viruse and download it another time

  • Unable to download toolkit

    I am unable to download XMP toolkit from http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/xmp/licenseeng.html page.
    Accepting license agreement takes me right back to the same page.
    Is there an alternative way to download XMP toolkit?
    Thanks
    Paul

    The download works in all platform/browser combinations that I have tried.
    Be sure that you did *not* go
    directly to the license agreement page, that is, without clicking the download link on the main SDK page:
    http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/xmp/main.html
    This is an "intercept-style" agreement which means that it needs a URL-destination for the Accept button to operate on. If you did go directly to the license agreement page, clear your browser cache before attempting again.

  • Droid 3 - Unable to connect to AT&T U-verse wireless network and unable to download apps using 3G

    Hi,
     I just purchased a DROID 3.  It will not connect to my home network which is AT&T U-verse.  It goes through the authentication process and then Wi-Fi shows as disconnected and the network shows as disabled.  Everything else is connecting to the router just fine, computers, printers, blackberry. I have toggled wi-fi on and off and get the same result.
    I was able to connect to other wireless networks, AT&T DSL, mobile hotspots, just not AT&T U-verse.
    In addition, I am unable to download apps using the 3G network.
    Any solutions out there?
    Thanks

    Thanks for responding.  I've tried all of those already.  I've also manually configured my home wi-fi connection via "Add Wi-Fi network.  It still goes through the authentication process and disconnects.
    Is there something that needs to be configured on my router.  It's a 2Wire 3800HGV-B.
    Regarding downloads, I have a gmail ccount.  The message is that I need a Wi-Fi connection in order to download.
    Thanks
    On my router, it is set to accept connections only from devices (MAC Addresses) I allow. Maybe you have yours set up that way.
    Also if you have a passcode on the router, you will need to search for the device, then add the passcode to your phone.

  • Java Wireless Toolkit

    Hi everyone, i'm new in this forum and i'm from Brazil =)
    I'm trying to install this in my pc, but it's win98 and i didn't have success. Have anyway to install in win98, or have another toolkit that works with win98?

    Hey.
    Right, last night I downloaded the latest version of JDK - version 1.5.
    I installed it successfully.
    So in the folder C:\ Java there are two folders: Jdk-1.5_etc and JRE-1.5_etc.
    Next I downloaded and installed the latest version of the wireless toolkit.
    It saw that I had the JDK installed at th correct folder, and it installed at C:\WTK20 - said it installed correctly.
    So, next I select create project - call it hello world.
    Then I place the following code in the src folder of the helloWorld folder:
    * Copyright 2000-2001 by Sun Microsystems, Inc.,
    * 901 San Antonio Road, Palo Alto, California, 94303, U.S.A.

    import javax.microedition.midlet.*;
    import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;
    public class HelloWorld extends MIDlet implements CommandListener {
    private Command exitCommand;
    private TextBox tb;
    public HelloWorld() {
    exitCommand = new Command("Exit", Command.EXIT, 1);
    tb = new TextBox("Hello MIDlet", "Hello, World!", 15, 0);
    tb.addCommand(exitCommand);
    tb.setCommandListener(this);
    protected void startApp() {
    Display.getDisplay(this).setCurrent(tb);
    protected void pauseApp() {}
    protected void destroyApp(boolean u) {}
    public void commandAction(Command c, Displayable d) {
    if (c == exitCommand) {
    destroyApp(false);
    notifyDestroyed();
    I hit build and it builds correctly - no errors - YAY!!.
    I hit run, the phone emulator pops up. I hit launch and:
    An error pops up on the screen of the phone.
    The error below appears in the Wireless toolkit window:
    Project "HelloWorld" loaded
    Project settings saved
    Building "HelloWorld"
    Build complete
    Running with storage root DefaultColorPhone
    Unable to create MIDlet HelloWorld
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: HelloWorld

    I'm using version 1.5 of JDK - what have I not done - why won't it run.
    I keep getting Java.lang errors!!!!

    Hi zoya,
    Here is the problem:
    tbHelp = new TextBox("HeLp", "You can press the back button", 25, 0);
    This line declares a maximum textbox size of 25 but in reality he is declaring a textbox of size 29.
    Thats why it is throwing the illegal argument.
    happy coding :)

  • I can't get iOS 6.1.1 on my 4th gen ipod touch. It says "Error. Unable to download iOS 6.1.1" Help?

    My iPod 4th Generation does not let me download iOS 6.1.1...
    The reason I want 6.1.1 is because I want to download kik and a load of other apps but I need 6.1.1.
    The message is "Error. Unable to download iOS 6.1.1" or something, and I have no idea what it means or how to fix it because I know barely anything about the apple software things.
    I've read a few things about it and discovered that this issue is common, but I can't get the answer I need, and the other posts about this issue were made like two years ago. I've got enough space, definitely, and last night it was downloading it so I put it on the charger and went to sleep, when I woke up it said "Cannot download. Internet connection is required." something like that. I had no issues last night, but now it's saying it cannot download.
    Can someone please help?
    I've not updated my ipod for a year or so now, but I'm still not sure why it's not working.
    Thanks so much!
    PS: I currently have ios 5 point something.

    You have to have an internet connection, either wireless or through a computer with iTunes.  When you choose Software Update you can only update to the latest version for your iPod Touch, iOS 6.1.6

  • Unable to download from AppStore, updates,etc.Messages 'the installer is damaged' to 'there might be a problem with file ownership and permissions.' I am the owner and only user of a new MBP. What could be going on?

    Is anyone having the same type of problems I'm having with Lion. I have a new MacBook Pro, received 7 weeks ago, preinstalled with Leopard 10.6.7. I didn't migrate anything from my old iMac, wanted a clean install from the Apple Store. While there, I asked for the upgrade to Lion 10.7, however their system was down.
    I  installed it myself, wirelessly about a week later, and Apple emailed me a receipt. Now, I've had to call support directly last week when I lost Mail, Address Book, was unable to open Preview or iTunes, among other problems. Seemed fixed after a session that baffled even the store tech.  Now I am unable to download or install the recent Mac updates for Lion, from the App Store, could not install Adobe Reader, etc. Messages range from 'A network error has occured - Check your Internet connection and try again' to 'The Installer is damaged and cannot open the package. There may be a problem with file ownership or permissions.'  All fail and I'll probably have to call Apple again. I am frustrated beyond words.  Logs 'Install's runner tool is not properly configured as a setuid tool', domain errors, 'attempt to write a readonly database, and on and on. I have barely done a thing on this computer except search online for help with these problems. Safari gives me a 'You are not connected to the internet' too often. Diagnostics disagrees. I do see wi-fi problems in the forum. Disk and permissions were fine at the beginning of the earlier problems, checked first by support tech. I'm not sure if support tech even knew. I was just happy they were fixed. Anyone have these download and/or install problems after a 'clean bill of health' so to speak, only a week ago?

    Let's try the following user tip with that one:

  • TS1424 "Unable to Download Song" message in iTunes app on iPod Touch?

    I did look to see if this question was posted anywhere else, but did not see it. So if it has already been answered, my apologies.
    I am hooked up to the wireless, logged into iTunes, credit card good to go. Every time I go to download a song, it stops with "download error" and then another message pops up stating "Unable to Download song" and that it could not be downloaded at this time. I've tried downloading other songs and the same thing happens.

    I've been getting this problem too, seems the album/song as noted is corrupted (I did stop it halfway into downloadign when I was in Spain and didn't have a ton of bandwidth). I just need to delete this error message.
    As seen here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/18244258#18244258
    Swipe the failing song horizontally to get the red Delete option, then delete.
    So easy once you know, no?
    Once that failed "in progress" download was deleted, I asked iTunes to re-download it and it went through just fine.

    See how many networks are listed in Sys Prefs: Network: Advance. Drag the preferred to the top. Delete any you don't really need.

  • How to use KAWT with "Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.3 Beta"?

    Hi!
    Im new to developing java for mobile devices so all of this is pretty confusing for me. I started with installing suns:s "Wireless Toolkit 2.3 Beta" and it works fine but now I want to use awt classes so I started to look it up and thats how I found out about kawt. I followed the tutorial at http://www.kawt.de/ and i was able to use it for Java Wireless Toolkit 1.0.4_02 so that it compiled fine and was run able.
    Then I tried the same thing in v 2.3 but I got a error that looked like this "Uncaught exception java/lang/NoClassDefFoundError: awtDemo: /awt/event/ActionListener: Cannot create class in system package." when i tried to run it. It compiled fine when I pressed the build button witch wouldnt have happened if i hadnt installed it correctly. So Im wondering if someone knows were to find a tutorial for installing kawt for "Sun Java Wireless Toolkit 2.3 Beta" or if anyone knows what might be wrong?
    I'd welcome any help
    Thanks!

    If using the zip install of DSEE, you need to use your own java container to host DSEE. Try downloading the latest Tomcat (http://tomcat.apache.org) and deploying your dscc in it.

  • J2ME Wireless Toolkit 2.5

    Hi all,
    I would like to ask if this new veresion (J2ME Wireless toolkit 2.5) supports ArrayList.
    I have developed a program with ArrayList , is it possible to run it in this new version without problems.
    Thanks

    New version of WTK 2.5 supports CLDC stack. Unfortunately the ArrayList class is not present in the spec for this stack, so WTK 2.5 will not be able to run your application. (Like all other CLDC implementations) But you can try the CDC emulator "Sun Java Toolkit 1.0 for CDC" at http://java.sun.com/javame/downloads/index.jsp
    (CDC stack has the class ArrayList)
