Unable to e-mail pictures with PSE 3.0.1.

I am using PSE 3.0.1. I am unable to e-mail pictures and keep getting an error message that says that some add-in program could not be installed. What is the problem? I have windows Vista.

Hmm, might be an issue with the MAPI. Windows has two versions the normal version and a simple version. Outlook Express requires the simple MAPI to communicate between express and any app that send email attachments.
Can you send from explorer? Find the image in explorer and right click on it then send to email. Lets us know if that works.
We maybe getting into operating system issues, which would be better suited on the microsoft forums. It is still possible someone may know of an issue with elements sending to express though.

Unable to open individual pictures with Lr

Using Windows 7 with Lr 4.
Everything is updated and the pictures in question have been successfully imported into Lr.
I would like to open individual pictures into Lr, but I am unsuccessful thus far.
I right-click on the picture and choose Open with
Lr does not appear in the list of programs, so I click Choose Program.
I went to the Desktop and selected the Lr icon.
Now when I right-click on individual pictures, Lr appears as one of the available programs, but when I select it, the Lr Import dialog opens even though the image has been previously imported into Lr.
Is there any way to correct this so when I right-click on a picture and choose Lr, it opens into the Library or Develop module?

As far as I know, this capability to open a photo directly from your Windows operating system was disabled in LR4.
I have read a few people have gotten it to work where the photo opens into the Import dialog, but most people cannot.
I am not aware of anyone being able to open a photo directly into the Develop module.

Unable to take deposit picture with Chase app

I use the Chase app on my 4S. For some reason, when I take the picture of my check, I am unable to select the "use" and "retake" buttons. I think the selections are too far off to the right, off-screen. I figured this because the words in the header look off-centered, more to the right. Because of this, I am unable to deposit my check.

No videos recording and unable to see new pictures with iOS 6

I recently updated my Iphone 4S with iOS6 and when I try to record a video the app crashes. Is there anything that I may do to resolve this situation?
On the other hand pictures taken are not visible on the camera roll. I only can see old pictures but no newones.
Is anyone having the same issues?
Any clue?

Followed every one of the many branches to this link. Not a single thing helped. Ultimately completely removed Firefox from my desktop and then reinstalled it (importing my address book from my laptop).
Makes me a lot less of a fan of Mozilla, if the program is this inherently unstable.

Can't E-Mail Pictures

We are not able to send pictures via e-mail. Each time we try, through our home gmail account or through our remote work outlook accounts, the message just sits forever with the message "still working."
This is driving my wife crazy. Can anyone help?

As of this morning, Nov 23, 2013 unable to open Mail program with Maverick. Yesterday lost both Western Digital drives...any chance of recovering data?

Please update Firefox to 3.6.17 a.s.a.p. the reason being that there was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.

Since yesterday i cannot use iPhoto to send pictures with mail, it just does not open a new mesage in mail. can you help me please? have done cleaning tasks and repeired permissions already. thank you.

Have you deleted the iPhoto Preference file - A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Pictures with GPS-data will not be shown in list-view (PSE 11, Win7)

A lot of pictures of my collection do have GPS-data in EXIF-header. Sometimes they are shown on the world-map, sometimes not. In list-view they are never shown. The list-view knows only locations, which are matched with PSE.
The EXIF-input was made by two different tools (Holux GPS Software and Geosetter 3.4.16).
How can I get the list-view for the saved files without using PSE adding location?

Many modern cameras add GPS co-ordinates and these will usually show in the info panel of the Media module under Camera Data >> GPS
I guess your exif tools work differently to a camera. Are you able to embed the metadata into the image files before importing into PSE Organizer?

Unable to load pictures with mac osx..

I was wondering if anyone knows the reason why I'm unable to load pictures with my macbook for e-bay when I sell??? It just keep turning and turning with no results...
Is it the new operating platform (osx) or what could it be?? I have tried it with an older mac, had no problem loading them....

Is there an uploader program from ebay that you use? If so, then you might try digging out the preference file from your library/preferences and see if it generates a new, non-corrupt one. If it uses a browser interface and that is stalling, then I'd suggest using a different browser. You can also ask ebay support.

The error on your code might be:

You don't need to create a new BodyPart, and apart from that you'r seting values on "messageBodyPart" but adding "messageBodyPart1" to your multipart :P

Nope. Manual sorting in events is not (and has not been) a feature of iPhoto. You do manual sorting in albums (recommended) or photos vies with event titles off
