Unable to edit instantpage in GoDaddy domain website

trying to edit instantpage/temporary webpage for a website domain. unable to edit. the picture is only part showing - too big, zooming in and out does not help, trying another browser doesn't either. No sidebar or bottom bar, I notice, on this page.
Would adding any of Firefox's Web Developer extension tools fix this, do you think? GoDaddy could not help me.

Earthlink says it is a communiction problem between Firefox and their server and is Firefox's problem. At the edit section of my Earthlink website, I can upload photos but the will not attach to the placement in the website and the website will not allow me to add new text. Earthlink tech can access my website and add text, etc., but I cannot. They insist it is because I am using Firefox. What do I need to do to be able to work in the Earthlink website thru Firefox?

Unable to edit the "Default Domain Controllers Policy" from a Server 2012 machine

I am unable to edit the "Default Domain Controllers Policy" from a Server 2012 machine. The error message i recieve is:
"Failed to open the group policy object. You might not have the appropriate rights. Details: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the open file is no longer valid."
The domain controllers are running Windows 2012 R2 upgraded from Windows 2008 R2, the domain functional level is Server 2012.
I am able to edit the policy from both a Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 machine.

Yes, the Unique ID is available on 2012 server

Another user added to amins and tested has no effect
It is the same on another server

Admins are unable to edit all sites?

We have designed three websites, all under the same site plan. From the admin panel, the admin is able to edit both site 1 and 2, but not site number three. Right now, we have
A-Master (admin is able to edit)
B-Master (admin is able to edit)
C-Master (admin is able to edit)
D-Master (admin is unable to edit)
A, B and C Master all have links that lead to D-Master, but you are unable to click on them from the admin panel, only edit them. D-Master DOES have it's own domain name. Does this make a difference? A, B and C master are all under the same domain. Keep in mind, D-Master was designed under the same site plan.

Master pages can not be edited with IBE at this time.

Using Exchange 2010 Server and Lync 2010 Server at the back. To the best of my knowledge, this option is only available when using Exchange 2013 rather than Ex 2010.
Can somebody confirm this as I am not 100% sure about it.

The photo precedence in Lync 2013 is high-resolution photo from Exchange 2013 -> Photo from web address -> Active Directory photo. The "Edit or Remove Picture" button is available if you integrate Lync Server 2013 with Exchange 2013.
Since you are Lync server 2010 and Exchange 2010, you can choose the following two options:
The thumbnailPhoto attribute on the user's object in Active Directory Domain Services
A URL configured by the user

Unable to edit document using "Edit with Word" option

Hi All,
i am having an issue with Office web apps. i am using SharePoint 2013 and Office web apps 2013. all the configurations have been done successfully. but i have a different kind of issue.
i am able to open documents in browser
i am able to edit document using " edit with word/excel web" option
but i am unable to edit document using "edit with word/excel" option
i have Office 2010 installed on my local machine.
do we need to have MS office of 2013 version? or is there anything missing from configuration part.

According to your post, my understanding is that you could not use the "edit with word/excel" option.
I had tested the issue with the Office 2010, the option worked well.
You don’t need to install the Office 2013 to use this option.

Did you mean the option gray out? Did the issue occur in other browsers?
You can use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
You can also add the site into Trusted sites.
Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What's more, you can also use other browsers to check whether it works, such as Firefox, Chrome.

According to your post, my understanding is that only
one user could not edit documents in SP2013 with OWA.
You can use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
You can also add the site into Trusted sites.
Open the
IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What's more, you can also use other browsers to check whether it works, such as Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer 10.
Check whether the user has permission to the documents.

In my template, the code is grayed out and I am unable to edit it. How do I unlock the code?

I have a website based on a template. (Dreamweaver CS6). Just recently, the "code view" in the template is grayed out, and I am unable to edit it. I can edit the template in design view. I would appreciate suggestions of how the code got grayed out- or locked up. Thanks in advance.

Thanks everybody- I found a thread on a forum which solved my problem. In Dreamweaver: Commands → Clean Up HTML → (make sure non-Dreamweaver Comments" is checked. This clean up made the template then editable.

GoDaddy domain name to MobileMe

I found this tutorial today which worked perfectly for me in transferring the domain name I purchased from GoDaddy to my MobileMe account. Note: GoDaddy has added a DNS Manager which changed a few of the directions at the end of this tutorial but not enough that they can't be followed.

Came across your post in regards to setting up your Go Daddy domain name with MobileMe. Here is a link to the help article we have on our site: http://x.co/SQtl. After you modify the www CNAME, make sure you forward the domain to www.yourdomain.com, rather than yourdomain.com.

'Publish to' should be set to FTP server
Site name is the name you give to your site.
Server address - the domain name of your site, e.g. fred.com
User name - this is the specific user name for FTP which they gave you.
Password - this is the password they gave you for FTP, not the password for your account.
Directory/Path - leave blank to have an index.html file at root level and the site in a folder with its name, so that entering just the domain name takes you to the site. Or if you want it within a folder, enter the folder name.
Protocol: FTP
Website URL os the address which will reach your home page: if there is nothing in the Directory/Path field it will be just the domain name.

Publishing site to a godaddy domain

i am having issues publishing my account to my godaddy domain that i just published....is there something i am missing?? it is saying that it cannot connect to my server. HELP!! i need to get my website up and running to get my business going!!

Do you actually have a hosting account with GoDaddy or just a domain name? If you don't have a hosting account, then this is where the problem is that it won't connect to your server if you don't have one rather than just a domain name.
Are you just publishing to MobileMe and trying to connect your domain name to your site? If so, your question needs to be more specific about this.
If you have a hosting account at GoDaddy then you need to ensure that you have entered the correct details such as the ftp name from GoDaddy and also your username and password. Ensure that these are correct and it should work.

thank you for the suggestion, but I do not have a "Send Email" or "Submit" button available in my version. I have "Attach to email" option which automatically opens a new message in MS outlook (which I did not set up, it just started doing so automatically) without any further dialogue boxes or options.

I just installed Lightroom 5.3, and I have Photoshop CS5.1 installed. The problem is that I am unable to edit an image in Photoshop. When I click Photo>Edit In, the option for Photoshop is not active (i.e., it's not black), so I can't click on it. Why are the options for Photoshop and all of the other Photoshop related options, such as Merge to Panorama, etc., not active? Yesterday I tried numerous times, and ways, to edit an image and each time
it refused to allow me to save it.
The software program just shut down. This evening when I decided to give it
another try it worked perfect.
Guess the program just took the day off.

Sorry! The code was meant only as example, as I would convert it. The names of the infoObjects are naturally differently. It concerns to me rather the understanding whether the data records are deleted individually in each case. Or all those the conditions of <b>NUMBER</b> fulfill and all those the conditions of <b>DATE</b> fulfill. I would like to delete however only the data records, which fulfill these conditions together.

WebElements - Unable to edit WEPlatform

Hi,
I am new to WebElements and wanted to have a look at the functions to see how I can use in my reporting suite.
I am using CR11 and seem to be unable to edit the WEPlatform element to select the Crystal Reports version that I use.
I notice when I open the WebElements 246.rpt that it advises me that the report was written in a later version of Crystal.
Is this why I cannot edit the WEPlatform element ? If so how can I obtain a version of the web elements thjat will work with my Crystal version ?
Any help will be great.

hi Matt,
the users guide isn't really clear on this...i will make sure that this gets changed for the next release.
as webelements are Custom Functions you have to disconnect them from your repository to edit them. if you right click on the platform function and choose disconnect from repository then you can edit the function to match your platform.
once you've changed the function, you can add it back into your repository overwriting the existing one...that way when you build a new report using webelements you don't have to keep changing the platform function each time.
