Unable to edit my vendor in po

Hello All,
We are creating PR with item category D (Service) and fille desired vendor in the sourse of supply tab. PR created and release also done,
while creating PO against to that PR , system is copying all the datas its putting desired vendorin the vendor field, we want to modify the vendor but the vendor field is grey. basically desired vendor can change in po during creation. in my system its showing grey.
Please tell me, it is the standard sap validation or we can change the vendor field in po eventhough you enter the desired vendor in pr with item categiry D.
I need vendor field in editable mode during creatin of po againt PR for item category D(service). where should i need to do change. please share related tcode , path and field etc.. . please share your input in details.

Hi,
Vendor gets picked based on Source List, Purchase info Records is miantained. So in that case the Vendor maintained in these records will have a priority.
Also The 'desired vendor' field is where the end user maintains their preferable vendor which should be taken into consideration by the purchaser once he/she converts this PR into PO. However, this field will not be regarded by SAP in case of automatic creation of PO via Transaction ME59.
The 'fixed vendor' field, on the other hand, is the field which SAP will automatically assign the possible source of supply in case the 'source determination' checkbox is flagged. In this case, if you have set the fixed vendor in the source list, then this vendor will be automatically defaulted in this field. Otheriwse, the system will pop up the list of possible vendors for your selection. Again in case this fixed vendor field is entered, this vendor will be automatically defaulted in the PO during automatic conversion of PR into PO via ME59 transaction.

thank you for the suggestion, but I do not have a "Send Email" or "Submit" button available in my version. I have "Attach to email" option which automatically opens a new message in MS outlook (which I did not set up, it just started doing so automatically) without any further dialogue boxes or options.
Also, this is only for regular PDF files, not forms.

I am unable to edit an image in Photoshop.

I just installed Lightroom 5.3, and I have Photoshop CS5.1 installed. The problem is that I am unable to edit an image in Photoshop. When I click Photo>Edit In, the option for Photoshop is not active (i.e., it's not black), so I can't click on it. Why are the options for Photoshop and all of the other Photoshop related options, such as Merge to Panorama, etc., not active? In Preferences I have the following settings: File Format = TIFF; Color Space = ProPhotoRGB; Bit Depth = 16 bits; Resolution = 240; Compression = None. I am using Windows 7.

I have to apologize for being misleading on my request for help in
resolving the problem.
Actually the version I am using is CS2 not CS3.
Yesterday I tried numerous times, and ways, to edit an image and each time
it refused to allow me to save it.
The software program just shut down. This evening when I decided to give it
another try it worked perfect.
Guess the program just took the day off.

However, when I try to enter selection I_THX_SEL, it tells me:

Sorry! The code was meant only as example, as I would convert it. The names of the infoObjects are naturally differently. It concerns to me rather the understanding whether the data records are deleted individually in each case. Or all those the conditions of NUMBER fulfill and all those the conditions of DATE fulfill. I would like to delete however only the data records, which fulfill these conditions together.

WebElements - Unable to edit WEPlatform

Hi,
I am new to WebElements and wanted to have a look at the functions to see how I can use in my reporting suite.
I am using CR11 and seem to be unable to edit the WEPlatform element to select the Crystal Reports version that I use.
I notice when I open the WebElements 246.rpt that it advises me that the report was written in a later version of Crystal.
Is this why I cannot edit the WEPlatform element ? If so how can I obtain a version of the web elements thjat will work with my Crystal version ?
Any help will be great.

hi Matt,
the users guide isn't really clear on this...i will make sure that this gets changed for the next release.
as webelements are Custom Functions you have to disconnect them from your repository to edit them. if you right click on the platform function and choose disconnect from repository then you can edit the function to match your platform.
once you've changed the function, you can add it back into your repository overwriting the existing one...that way when you build a new report using webelements you don't have to keep changing the platform function each time.

User unable to edit contacts

I have a user with Outlook 2013 connected to an 2010 Exchange Server. I have a user that is unable to edit any existing contact, getting an error: Your changes cannot be saved because you don't have permission to modify some or all of the items in this folder.
Do you want to save a copy of this item in the default folder for the item?
I have checked the permissions on the mailbox folder as well as the Contacts folder. The user has "Owner" permission to these folders.
No other users report the problem, and loading the users account on another computer demonstrates the same problem.
Any ideas what I am missing?

The error indicates that the issue is related to permission. I recommend you use the Get-MailboxPermission -Identity xxx |fl cmdlet to check if the permission is right. What's more, please check if OWA has the same issue.
If the issue persists, I recommend you remove the owner permission at first. Secondly, use the following cmdlet to add the owner permission and check the result.
Add-MailboxPermission -Identity "xxx" -Owner "xxx"

Lync 2013 client - part of Office 2013 Pro Plus - unable to edit or remove picture, option is grayed out.
Using Exchange 2010 Server and Lync 2010 Server at the back. To the best of my knowledge, this option is only available when using Exchange 2013 rather than Ex 2010.
Can somebody confirm this as I am not 100% sure about it.

The photo precedence in Lync 2013 is high-resolution photo from Exchange 2013 -> Photo from web address -> Active Directory photo. The "Edit or Remove Picture" button is available if you integrate Lync Server 2013 with Exchange 2013.
Since you are Lync server 2010 and Exchange 2010, you can choose the following two options:
The thumbnailPhoto attribute on the user's object in Active Directory Domain Services
A URL configured by the user

Unable to edit

I am a complete novice to Dreamweaver so please bear with me.
I am trying to edit some pages (.php files) for my employer. I was
able to edit the index.php file but none of the others. All of the
html code is greyed out except certain areas and unfortunately, the
part I need to change is greyed out. I am completely unable to edit
any of the greyed areas. I've looked all over to see if there's a
way to unlock the code but I can't see anything. Does anyone have
any suggestions?

If you do not have the associated Template file, it *MAY* be
a trivial
matter to recreate it. We would need to see the code on the
page to know
whether that's possible, though.

Hi All,
i am having an issue with Office web apps. i am using SharePoint 2013 and Office web apps 2013. all the configurations have been done successfully. but i have a different kind of issue.
i am able to open documents in browser
i am able to edit document using " edit with word/excel web" option
but i am unable to edit document using "edit with word/excel" option
i have Office 2010 installed on my local machine.
do we need to have MS office of 2013 version? or is there anything missing from configuration part.

According to your post, my understanding is that you could not use the "edit with word/excel" option.
I had tested the issue with the Office 2010, the option worked well.
You don’t need to install the Office 2013 to use this option.
What did you mean “but i am unable to edit document using "edit with word/excel" option
Did you mean the option gray out? Did the issue occur in other browsers?
You can use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
You can also add the site into Trusted sites.
Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What's more, you can also use other browsers to check whether it works, such as Firefox, Chrome.

As part of the excersise I have to edit the outbound header properties of the generated wsdl. I am unable to edit the headers.

Unable to edit html file

Hi,
I downloaded an html file from our server to edit the logo. However, I am unable to edit the logo part. It's like commented out. And once I opened the file on Dreamweaver CS5, I am getting this pop-up message:
"This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer. Dreamweaver cannot convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again."
I can't edit the html file and change the logo. Please help.

Dannie,
Are you familiar with dreamweaver templates and editable regions? If the logo is in the template, then you need to modify the template file. The changes you make to the template will automatically be propogated to all of the files which use the template. If your html file uses a template, the html code will look like its commented out.
Also, you should not have to download the html fiile from your server because you should always keep a copy of all the html files on your computer.
I don't know about the SWF error.

Unable to edit the fields in PDF interactive form

We are in the process of developing an interactive form integrating Web Dynpro ABAP with Adobe forms.
As of now we are able to send the data to Adobe form from Web Dynpro.
But we are facing the following problem.
i) Unable to edit the form data for entering/changing the contents of the fields in PDF document, which is presented to user with a Web Dynpro application URL.
We have already unset the 'ReadOnly' property of the interactive UI element.
We are currently working on ZCI installation with SAP SP08, GUI patch level 20, Adobe Reader version 8.0

Unable to edit track info in iTunes on a Mac Air

Hello,
I recently switched from a windows PC to a Mac Air. All my music was organizaed on an external hard drive. I have now imported the music in to my iTunes on my Mac Air. I am unable to edit individual track info when I use "Get Info". I tried to look up for permissions on the particular folder and found that they are all set as "Read Only".
Any help in this matter is appreciated.

Go to your Music (media) folder. The one that holds the actual files.
Click it and press Cmd+I or right click and select "Get Info"
In the Info pane, click the lock to change permissions:
You'll need to tnter your password to make any chnages.
Set ALL permissions to Read & Write
Click the Gear and select "Apply to enclosed items..."
Then click "OK" when asked if you're sure.
Let it apply to everything and THEN try editing the track oinfo.

Unable to Edit Price Lists in Advanced Pricing Vision Instance

Hello I have a new Vision Instance for 12.1.3 and when I switch responsibility to Oracle Pricing Manager Vision Operations I am unable to edit and of the price lists or modifiers that are in the system by default. any suggestions on what I need to update as I have not run into this before in previous Vision instances

this was the solution to this issue
Solution
1. Be sure to set the following profile option values at user level
a. QP: Pricing Transaction Entity = ORDFUL and save.
b. QP: Source System Code to 'Oracle Pricing' (if not already) and save.
2. Responsibility: Order Management Super User (or equivalent)
3. Navigation: Pricing > Price Lists > Price List Setup
4. Open the price list: XYZ CHARGES
5. The form will now open without error, and changes will be accepted
