Unable to edit process in Processes tab

Hi
We've got some processes set up in our processes tab and in ES were are able to edit this.
Since we upgraded and created a new ES2 server these seem to be read-only. When I try to edit one of the processes in the Process tab I get the message:
"You can only view and edit this process in the Applications view. If this process was created in a previous version of LiveCycle, create an application and import the process into it."
I can copy this process into my application and edit it in the Applications tab, but I can't find any way to get these changes back into the Processes tab.
Can anyone help me with this?

Yesterday I configured webutil with Developer 10g (9.0.4).
I used webutil_106.zip and jacob_18.zip.
I succesfully deploy a form that display the selection file dialog with the function:
CLIENT_GET_FILE_NAME
Today I tried to test again the form, and I got an error when the form is opening, I review the log and I find "unable to communicate with runtime process.".....
I didn't change any configuration... what I'm doing wrong..... It just work great yesterday!!!!
I tried signing again the jacob.jar and frmwebutil.jar files..... However I still have the error.......
Any help is welcome....

I Find the way, It's OK now.
When I use the webutil.olb in a form. I chose "Subclass", It's necessary to choose "Copy".

WE20 - post processing: permitted agent tab

I need to create a inbound TXTRAW message type for a comapny code which I have done. Then in the screen where you give the process code , the next tab is post processing: permitted agent tab ... here my requirement is that this mail should go to a group of people ... How do I achieve that ?

I have created a Org unit "US90" ... but how do I directly assign users to that Org ? ... After creating Org ... it is only allowing to create positions .... and if I create position's (AP_US90_TXTR) and assign the users to the position ... In WE20 if I write "AP_US90_TXTR" in the agent field then it gives an error "Object type S, ID AP_US90_TXTR unknown (please observe upper/lower case)" ... So I am unable to proceed. Could you please help me?

In a finder window highlight and right click the folder you are trying to save to and select Get Info. In the window that opens look at the bottom to see if you have Read/Write permissions. If you don't click the Plus sign and add your Admin Username to the list and give it full Read/Write permissions.
Open Disk Utility and on the First Aid tab select Repair Permissions and let it run.

Error Message: Unable to Connect to Background Process........ HELP!!

When I try to compress a FCP file from FCP version 5.1.4 i get an error message in Compressor Version 2.3.1: *Unable to Connect to Background Process*. I usually work on my G5 but I am on location and have been editing on my Laptop; Powerbook G4 1.25 GHz, with 1.25 gigs of RAM, 80GB Internal. Externals LA CIE 1TB & LA CIE 120GB Firewire external, running OSX 10.5.

Unable to edit Today tab in Notifications

My wife and I just received the iPhone6 (verizon). Both of us are unable to edit the Today tab in Notifications. There is no edit button to remove notifications or widgets. When you go to Notifications under settings, there is no "Today" section to edit.
Specifically, we would like to remove Stock quotes from the today tab. But, the Stocks app is not listed to even be able to edit.
For some reason, the Stock quotes show on my wife's phone under the Today tab, but not on mine.
Any assistance appreciated.

Set Today options. To choose what information appears, tap the Edit key at the end of your information on the Today tab. Tap + or — to add or remove information. To arrange the order of your information, touch ,then drag it to a new position.

JDev - Debugger unable to connect to local process.

Iam able to execute the project in run mode. If I try to execute the same project in Debug mode, getting a message as
'Listening for transport dt_socket at address: 4003'

Sorry for delay in response. Actually I was on vacation since last few days.
Finally able to fix the issue. Issue is due to change in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file. It's been updated for some other reason. Now I've updated the file with required changes. Now able to fix the issue.

I am going thru the JDeveloper Introduction Tutorial and when I try to debug the application I get the following error in the message window:

If I just run the application then it works.
I also have the Sun Java JDK installed, as well as Eclipse and NetBeans installed.
I tried reinstalling JDeveloper but the debug function still does not work.

I am using the method "PAYMENT_TERMS_SET " of BADI "MRM_PAYMENT_TERMS". However, i want a functionity to happen only when the method is called during processing of "Payment" tab. The subscreen called is 6310.
How do i access the tab details/subscreen details of TCODE MIRO inside that method?

the system design reports the following two cases::
-With reference to purchase order
The system always proposes the terms of payment from the first purchase
order so that they can be changed in case of goods/service
With only delivery cost items, the terms of payment key is automatically
copied from the vendor master record.
-Without reference to purchase order
If the terms of payment key does not contain any value, this is copied
from the accounting view of the vendor master record.
Depending on whether you first create a purchase order with order
reference or first create an item without order reference, the terms of
payment are determined either from the purchase order or from the vendor
master record in accordance with logic described above.
I am afraid there is no other functionality avalible for defaulting the
terms of payment.
Can you please review SAP Note 322430 with regards to the payment
terms.

I am running Jdev on pc and OAS 10g on an unix environment. I followed the step in the doc to set up the remote debugging. However, when I start the remote debugger from jdev, i got the following error message.
Debugger attempting to connect to remote process at ax-portal-www6.dev.ipass.com 4000..
Debugger unable to connect to remote process.
Your help wuld be greatly appreciated.

A couple things to try:
1) Verify your jdk version and build bug 4411232
2) Increase your Debugger preferences Connection retries to double the default (especially if multiple apps running, low memory or a slow machine)
Without more specifics on versions, type of debugging or details not much more I can suggest.

PJC set_custom_property gives unable to communicate with runtime process

I am modifying a PJC that extends VTextItem to act as a hyperlink I have registered a property in the PJC with the following code:

I then attempt to set the property from my form with the following code

Forms session 125,296 aborted: unable to communicate with runtime process

Forms 10g version on Hp unix.
We have about 400 users are using 10g web based application. Our users get the error "There was a failure in the forms server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration.
Please look into the web-server log file for details."
web-server log file it says
'Forms session <125,296> aborted: unable to communicate with runtime process.'
It is not reproducible error. But it happens to everybody at random time/form/database which makes big impact on our business.
We are in the edge of backing out of oracle forms due to this error

Would be a really bummer if you backed out of Forms and found the problems were because of network glitches ;o)
You need to do a bit a scratching around to get more details on this.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/pdf/10g/troubleshooting_fls.pdf would be a good place to start. Chances are, network glitches are cause a disconnects but you need to confirm this by using the techniques described in this paper.

Making GL Account field editable during Approval Process

Hi Experts,
We are in SRM 7.0 and using process controlled workflow.
As a business requirent,we want the GL account field to be editable during the approval process i.e during approval process,approve wants to change the GL account in the shopping cart as the GL account may not be correctly entered.
Is it possible to make the GL account field editable during approval process?if Yes,please share how it can be done.

Level Type: There are 3 possible entries. Approval with completion, Approval and Automatic. Within
a completion step the document can be changed by the approver if the u2018Changeableu2019 flag is set.
Within the approval phase, the document can only be approved or rejected but not changed. It is not
possible to mix the two phases of completion and approval. The completion phase is always before
the approval phase. The automatic step is a final means of validating the approval process, and to
verify that at least one step was returned without any error (example: event 0EV999). Depending on
the task ID assigned to the automatic step, the document will then be either approved or rejected.

Unable to reconnect to MDS process

Hello,
I have a UCCE system composed of duplexed Proggers and an AW.
I have noticed the error Unable to reconnect to MDS process (Event ID: 32782) on the ProggerA's Event Viewer. This error is not showing on ProggerB's Event Viewer.
I have checked both Central Controllers processes but was unable to locate any errors. I have dumped the logs of MDS processes, no errors.
The mdsproc.exe_2011 ... .mdmp mini dump files all date back to 2011 on both Proggers.
The message on the Event Viewer is not significant enough to me. Can someone provide explanation or suggestion for where to gather more logs for this error?

Enabling heartbeat countdown tracing won't help you here. With all due respect to the previous poster, this is NOT a heartbeat timeout issue. This is totally and completely unrelated to any heartbeat mechanism. You do not need to enable any tracing on anything. If you already enabled MDS tracing, please disable it (EMSTraceMask = 0).
MDS doesn't connect/disconnect/reconnect to itself. Some other process couldn't connect to it.
Given that this is a "progger" this could be an issue with a PG process (likely OPC) attempting to connect to the PG's MDS, or it could be a Router or Logger (i.e. rpl) process unable to reconnect to the CallRouter service's MDS process.
You need to find the source process (what generated that event), and look at ITS process logs. Did this happen once? Or is it still happening? If it only occurred once, and it was shortly after system initialization, I wouldn't worry about it at all. If it's a constant/recurring message seen in EventVwr, then & only then would it be worth investigating.
-Steve (16+ years supporting and training on ICM/UCCE, and truly, I could go another 16 years without ever looking at Application Eventvwr logs.).
