Unable to edit some pages

Hi Guys.
I am just wondering...
Why I cannot edit the rest of the pages in my website though admin console in business catalyst.
The site is made in Adobe Muse, and is published online.
The edit option unfortunately doesn't work on all pages. It works on home page and couple of more.
I really do not know what to do, because my client gets frustrated...
Please help me.

Within reason, Pages v5.2 documents are forwards compatible with Pages v5.5.3. Apple introduced the single file format document as a default with Pages v5.5.3 which is not backwards compatible with Pages v5 on Mavericks.
However, they also provided a File > Advanced > Change File Type > {Single File, Package} menu that allows you to change the current Pages v5.5.3 document into the backwards compatible Package type document. You would follow this transformation with a File > Save operation to complete it.

Why am I unable to edit some Smart Mailboxes

I have used Smart Mailboxes for some time but have found recently, when I wish to add a new criterion, that I am unable to edit some of them.
The 'flap' simply fails to appear.
Some newly created boxes can be edited and some can't.
I am unable to find a difference between those I can edit & those I can't edit.
I loaded the recent [Dec 22nd] update to Mail in the hope that that would solve the problem but it didn't.
I would be very glad of help or advice.

I'm not sure that what you are experiencing is necessarily a glitch otherwise one would assume that others would have made the same complaint. Having said that when you updated to 10.5.6 did you do that via Software Update or did you explicitly download either the Combo or Update?

The reason I ask is that there have been some problems reported by users as a result of performing the update via Software Update and when they have subsequently downloaded the Combo and installed that, the problems have been overcome. I downloaded the Combo at the outset given that I had experienced minor software update problems on previous occasions so erred on the side of caution.
If you choose to download one of the above then before installing you should repair disk permissions and then do a backup.

Why would I be unable to edit any page elements?

During some problems upgrading to the latest version, I built a single web page, but now nothing on the page can be selected or edited. All the pages I created earlier can be edited. Is there a way to address this issue, or should I just try to recreate the page?
I'm using this configuration on Mac 10.6.8:

That explains why you can't edit it. You can only edit master page content in that master page, never on any of the local pages. The real issue then is why is your master page gray and undeitable? At this point I would guess it would be easier and less time consuming for you to just re-create it. That said, we'd still like to take a look at your file and try to figgure out if this is a corruption caused by the updating problems you were having or a bug that needs attention.
We'll be able to take a look at the issue if you send your .muse file and a link to this topic to [email protected] If your file is larger than 20MB use a filesharing service like SendThisFile or Adobe SendNow.

Unable to edit some functions in APEX Sql Workshop

Users are able to edit some procedures/functions in APEX SQL Work shop. ( Object Browser - functions - EDIT)
When we press edit we get cursor in the code area and can edit some procedures, But for some procedures when we click edit we don't get cursor in the code area and we are not able to edit the functions/procedures.
I am using fairfox browser.This is happening with only some. Is there any security.grants issue???

This is happening with some procedures, For others this works fine.In IE I get red block in code area.
EDIT is working for some procedures so I think may not be the browser issue.

Unable to edit "some" Finder files ...

Previously, while using Snow Leopard, I was able to use "Finder" to open and edit my own created files.
Recently I have updated to Mountain Lion and now I have a problem editing "some" of my files. Sometimes I have to "duplicate" to edit a file. Sometimes I have to type in my password to allow me to access the file. Sometimes I can open the file but I can't edit. What's happening?
One of the warning messages states "You don't have permission to write to the folder (XXXXXXX.numbers). It asks to duplicate and then save. I tried to do a duplicate but after saving I can't find the "new" file.
Any ways to just go back to my original file access as previously with Snow Leopard?

Here I go again....
First of all I managed to take my previously unsavable file and creat a "New Folder". I named the folder the same as my uncooperative file. I then placed that file into the folder and now I am able to use and save the file. I don't know why this is but it works.
Next...
I need to do the same to hundreds of other files. Snik, snik, snik....Every time I try to add a file into its "new folder" a window opens up that states "Finder wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this." It will take me several years to do just that to all my files. Is there an easier way?????

Unable to load some pages on Macbook but can on G4

Can someone suggest a solution to my problem. On the iMacG4 which is connected direct to the BT Homehub (UK), there is no problem in connecting to the web and loading pages. On my Macbook, most of the time it is OK but there are the occasional sites that it will not connect and load to ,yet the iMac will ! The Macbook uses the same hub but wireless connection. The Macbook just times out and flashes up the unable to connect message. I have tried both Firefox and Safari but neither will open the page. So what is set different on the Macbook to the iMac ? Any suggestions please ?

No further forward. Dealer techie is baffled. I have now deleted all Firefox files and am just using Safari. Have used original install disc to do a hardware check..all OK. ..disc repair .. all OK and permissions ..all OK
The iMac loads the pages but the macbook won't. !!!!
Techie thinks it may be a OS fault and to try a full reload of that.... not too keen yet on this step, might just wait a few days to ponder and see if anyone on this forum has some good ideas.

Unable to Edit Wiki Pages in Workspace

Recently I'm encountering an "undefined" error when I try to Publish edits to a Beehive Team Collaboration Wiki page. I've input service requests, but they are cancelled since that team doesn't handle Beehive questions. I was directed to ask my question here -- has anyone encountered this error before and found a work around?

Unable to edit any pages

Hi
I have upgraded from 3.2 to 4.1
I can create an application then a form with a report and it runs ok
But when I try to edit either the form or the report, page rendering, page processing and shared components are all blank
I have checked the install log and it says it installed correctly and I have checked that the application is valid and it is.
Has anyone any ideas what has gone wrong?

Mac laptop fails to edit or open the Weebley pages propoerly. I tried using safari / firefox / chrome, but I still cannot run Weebly website on my system. Is there a fix to this problem.

Unable to edit calendar pages.

I am trying to make a calendar again this year. I can't seem to edit anything. The autofill function works, however, when I try to double click to edit, nothing happens.
Any suggestions?

Safari unable to render some YouTube pages

I have Safari 5.1.2.
Safari is suddenly unable to render some pages over at YouTube. For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCBBv9LVGmc. Safari seems to start loading the page, then starts all over, and then starts all over ... and then finally I get this message: "Safari can't display this webpage. Safari has repeatedly encountered an error ..." I also get the same problem and message when I go to this page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBrsM_WlfV8.
This does not happen with every YouTube page. Just some.
I have closed and reopened Safari. I have cleared the cache. Same problem. I have also uninstalled the Click to Flash extension. Same problem. Curiously, I do not have a problem with the page when I use my Camino browser.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any solutions?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account, or is system-wide. Enable guest logins and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select “Help” from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Any application you run will behave as if you were running it for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
As Guest, launch the application(s) and test. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.

Unable to edit

I am a complete novice to Dreamweaver so please bear with me.
I am trying to edit some pages (.php files) for my employer. I was
able to edit the index.php file but none of the others. All of the
html code is greyed out except certain areas and unfortunately, the
part I need to change is greyed out. I am completely unable to edit
any of the greyed areas. I've looked all over to see if there's a
way to unlock the code but I can't see anything. Does anyone have
any suggestions?

If you do not have the associated Template file, it *MAY* be
a trivial
matter to recreate it. We would need to see the code on the
page to know
whether that's possible, though.

Cannot Edit some files in Library

I have a library of images imported from a Nikon D70, Nikon D200, and Canon Powershot S400. For some reason, I am unable to Edit some of the files within my library. There does not seem to be any consistency of the problem with reference to the camera used.
Can you explain the reason for this?

In the Finder, go to your Pictures>iPhoto Library folder.
Select the iPhoto Library folder and do a "get info" on it.
Make sure the permissions are set for you. Hit the button on the bottom of the window to "apply to enclosed items"
